A new encounter

It was a day like any other birds chirping and people chattering. Gin woke up to the sound of music for her adoptive parents were performing today Gin quickly got up dressed in her normal attire and grabbed her violin before heading down the stairs and meeting her “parents” outside.

“Good morning sweetheart we could use your help if you’re willing to?” Gin’s dad called out

“Ok I’ll be right there just let me wash myself up.” Gin called back

Gin got some breakfast and brushed her teeth after she ate her food she headed outside to join her parents for it was their job to steal from unaware listeners. Gin gets up on stage and activates her genjustu luring the audience into her music so her parents could make a few bucks after the show the crowd gives applause before going back to their daily lives. Gin hops down from the pedestal and starts to walk around town.

“If you don’t mind can you pick up some food while you’re out?”

Gin nods and heads to town

Gin turns sharply with a pale face thinking it was a person out to get her but notices a small boy she looks down at his crimson red eyes.

"Hi?" Gin says with a confused look

Starts to examine the boy but can’t stop staring at his red eyes as if they were two bright cherries she smiles turns around and swiftly walks back to the music store where she was headed for she was to perform there She turned her head to see if the boy was following but quickly put her head back forward because she had arrived.

“Good morning sir.” Gin chirped to the store owner

Gin pulled out her violin and played a soothing noise as a crowd slowly gathered around her she played a lovely tune. Such a tune could make a grown man cry

“I won’t use my genjustsu.” Gin thought to herself “I will make money my own way.”

Gin thought stealing was wrong but she could not tell her parents that she hates confrontation also its her parents she kept playing the tune as people put small amounts of ryo next to her about thirty ryo was there when she was done she gave her money to the store clerk for letting her play at his shop but still had some left over to but some food for her family. She turns and sees the kid from before walking she glanced at him for a moment then started to head toward the bridge.

As Gin was walking a man grabbed her wrist and tugged her the opposite direction the man stated

"I have some questions for you. If you don’t come willingly I will use force.”

Gin panicked and whistled a tune with her genjustu to calm the people down she walked away slowly stopped her genjustu as soon as she was freed she turned back at them and bowed.

“I am very sorry if you let me go this one time I will not steal again.”

Gin was at the point of tears she awaited a response so she sat down on the nearest bench

“Please I’m begging you.”

Holding the girl's hand she started to plead and then she started to cry. "Well I'm not going to take you to jail, but we are going to the mission board." He pointed to the headband on the girl's shoulder. "You are a ninja of the sand village, right?" He then looked ahead. "After we eat, I am going to show you what ninja of the sand should do."


"By the way my name is Ryu Reinhard, nice to meet you two." He said winking to the other blonde genin as he watched the girl with his chakra sensory. Hmm, neither one has much of a chakra prescense. "So where do you two want to go for lunch? Its on me, then we have a mission to do. Well me and violin girl. You are free to join though, hmm... What was your name?"

Through her tears Gin muffled her name but it was too low to hear she wiped the tears of her face to look up at the two boys her were looking back at her.

“Gin… My name is Gin Taranaki.”

Her eyes wandered as she was too scared to respond to ryu’s question she gathered enough courage and said

“I would like to come to lunch with you guys but I don’t think you should eat with a criminal.” she made a sad expression “Maybe another time.”

Gin was about to cry when she thought “this is my shot to actually do good and meet new people.”

She swiftly turned and ran toward the two boys she called out to them and finally caught up to them she told them that she wanted to have lunch with them. She looks up at the heavens and wonders

“Are you seeing this mom and dad I finally got to meet my new friends.”

It seems we have lost Zen, I'm going to go ahead and exit.
