Kenshin would shake his head as he noticed that Pein was actually standing rather than laying down like he had seen, the silver haired teen began to wonder exactly how he had missed that, perhaps he had been trained himself much harder than he thought and given himself heatstroke, or perhaps the more likely scenario was that he had been tired when reading Pein’s post and thus missed the part where he stood up. Either way Kenshin would simply bring a hand up to his face and give his eyes a quick rub right in front of Pein, a smirk on his face as he pulled his hand away and thus moved the hair in front of his eyes for a split second, if Pein was observant enough than he would catch a quick glimpse of the silver haired teens strange and unique eyes, he would be able to see that Kenshin’s sclera were red rather the white that most people possessed along with a set of silver irises that would almost seem to shine from their shadowed position behind his hair, the shine in his silver eyes coming from just how amused he was feeling in this situation, and who knows, perhaps the uniqueness of his eyes would make Pein wonder whether or not he held some form of Doujutsu. Atem would be unable to catch a glimpse of Kenshin’s eyes due to the fact that Kenshin had walked right past him earlier when he approached what he thought was the downed form of Pein, and due to Kenshin was almost standing in between the two shinobi, with Pein facing his front and Atem facing his back, but Atem already knew what his strange eyes looked like so there was no fun in giving him but a glimpse.
“Ah, I’m glad to see that my memory serves me right. Well, it’s been quite some time and I assume you have gotten a lot stronger with that ‘weird ability’ of yours. I won’t say too much about it as it may be a trump card which I highly doubt, but you seem to be a secretive guy” Kenshin would hear Atem say from his position behind him, something that only made Kenshin’s smirk widen. His EGF was no major secret, in fact there were only two reasons that he still wore the robes and top hat, the first was because he didn’t like to be stared at an he notedd so far they had done a good job of covering his true appearance from the civilians, who would no doubt shun and fear him for his rather inhuman looks, and the second was simply because he had grown to like the look. Kenshin noticed Pein gesture his hand and opened his mouth to speak for the first time in their encounter, but before he could get a word out he was cut off by Atem, causing him to drop his hand once more and close his mouth “Oh, don’t worry about him. I just met him, well, I don’t really know if you could call that a meeting, but anyhow how would you like to spar. Y’know we didn’t get to finish last time due to reasons that you are aware of, but how about now?” Kenshin would hear Atem ask from his position behind him. “Assuming you say yes we can do it right here, right now since there are no civilians around and really nothing, but useless religious buildings. We can use jutsu that aren’t too destructive, they might leave a mark, but I can’t put off this feeling to fight you any longer, so how about it?” Kenshin would hear Atem say, something that got the silver haired teen to narrow his eyes behind his hair, he knew well that this place was considered to be important to the civilians who lived here, and he did not want the relations between the civilians and the shinobi of Hoshi to worsen just because he and a couple of others were unable to control themselves while fighting
“Do you want to spar or are you too tired for that!” he would hear Atem call out from his position, before feeling his chakra signature move back by about five meters, although this time he had the feeling that Atem was speaking to the other unnamed teen who happened to be standing in front of him. Kenshin would watch in amusement as the unnamed shinobi in front of him simply gave a shrug “I don’t care” he would hear the teen say, something that caused him to release a small chuckle. With the two of them seemingly having said what they needed to Kenshin would finally turn to face Atem, revealing the large smirk that Kenshin wore on his face “Well I for one would be more than happy to spar you, after all I owe you one after bailing last time, and the more people in the spar the better in my opinion” Kenshin would say in a rather excited tone of voice, before looking over his shoulder and speaking directly to Pein “I don’t want you to feel pressured to join the spar if you don’t want to, but hey, it’s better than just standing around and talking don’t you think?” he would say with a small smile on his face, the first true smile he had shown in this whole encounter, he could see that he didn’t seem very enthusiastic about the spar and if that was the case he didn’t want him to feel that he needed to join in the spar with them if he truly didn’t want to. “Now, I do have two conditions about this spar, the first is that I learn your names, because I can't help but notice you still have yet to introduce yourself” Kenshin would say to Atem with a smirk on his face, because like he had mentioned he still had yet to introduce himself and honestly Kenshin was starting to get annoyed “And the second condition is that we take this spar somewhere a little more private, because you were right about what you said earlier, I am a secretive person and I would definitely prefer we take this spar to one of the training grounds, not here where literally anyone could come by” Kenshin would say in a rather serious tone, something that may catch them off guard due to the rather jovial personality that he had been using until right now. With that said the silver haired teen would wait for the response from the two shinobi before doing anything else

Pein wasn't one too keen on conversation, so the constant dialogue seemed to divert Pein's attention away from the two that had already dug deeper into their last encounter. It didn't pertain to him, so he didn't care. But just before Pein lost interest in their conversation, his eyes detected unique physical traits upon Kenshin. His eyes for one seemed to radiate indifferent, much like Taikeo's did. But these were different. They didn't have that same maniacal aura that hers gave off, no. These spoke volumes but in a subtle manner. They didn't seem to be deranged, but instead more restrained. Almost as if they were speaking to Pein, trying to tell him of all the sights they had witnessed. But at the same time, they were repressed, letting Pein know that those sights were not to be discussed openly. Pein's own eyes agreed. While they were smaller and mainly covered by his overlying hair, they were a deep silver, unlike his grey hair. This shinobi was different.
Despite Pein's notice of the strange differences between a "normal shinobi" and Kenshin, he thought nothing of it. These days, what even was a "normal shinobi"? Good luck trying to describe that.
Pein's focus trailed off, reflecting on the progress he had made and how he could apply it. He did not prefer to test it out in a scenario like this, where everyone was agreeing to terms. No, that never happened in life or death situations and out on missions. He wanted to strike when an enemy's guard was lowered, not when it was its highest. Pein was concerned about outputting massive amounts of damage in one, stealthy attempt in order to take an opponent by surprise. Not by constantly try to one up another in a spar. Although Pein was quite the strategist and could make necessary adjustments in combat, he preferred going into it with a plan. But agreeing to a spar threw all of that out the window.
Then, Kenshin asked for their names. But why? Why did he want to know their identities? Realizing there wouldn't be much forward progress in this encounter unless he gave his name, Pein lied. And he did so to protect his identity. Sure Kenshin and Atem would eventually learn that his name was Pein, but he would not let them learn of his last name.
"Aoelus," Pein said with the same tone of voice as he did when he expressed his lack of interest in a spar.
Unique enough to be believable, but not unreasonable.
"And you are?" Pein inquired, directed at Atem.
When the introductions were finished, and Kenshin ended his comments, Pein spoke.
"Lead the way," was all that he would say, stuffing his hands into his pockets and motioning his head slightly to remove the hair from the corner of his eye.

[Sorry for the wait peeps]
Atem would begin to soak up the dialogue the pale shinobi such as himself would begin tos speak, “Bail you say, I have never done such a thing in my life.” Atem would chuckle of the thought of him bailing. “Although the occasion was weird how it ended, anyhow, I would like to spar as my senses dull every now and again, to prevent this from happening.” Atem would say rubbing his hairless chin. He would notice that the shinobi smiled, he could tell that the shinobi didn’t smile as much because it was an awkward one. One that was showed how genuine it was, with this Atem would begin to smile as well as he could feel the bond between the two strengthening. The other shinobi on the other hand needed a little getting used to. Atem wasn't against the idea of making friends as long as they could benefit him so he would test the boy in this fight to see what he could truly do and if he was worthy he would keep him as a friend.
Hearing Kenshin still speaking he could see that he hadn’t told the white-haired shinobi his name yet, “Atem, Atem Chasseur.” He would say not caring to reveal his last name as his clan wasn’t fairly known around the shinobi world. “First condition met.” The pasty-skinned boy would say with his index finger up signalling the number one. Waiting for the second condition to be made he would stare into the sky with his mind slipping from his body a certain points of the day. He never knew why this happened, but it was a tangent from his daily life which began to integrate with his routines that he never kept. “The training ground huh? I guess you are right, sometimes I wonder if I am even fit to be a shinobi with some of the terrible ideas I come up with, but being a shinobi isn’t purely based off of espionage as I would like to think.” Atem said with an oddly serious face.
Atem wasn’t really bothered by the Uzumaki’s face, matter of fact, it slipped his sight. Atem’s eyes jolted around the environment as his restlessness never faded, Thinking back on when Kenshin asked for their names Atem would catch a memory of the word Aoelus, he was quite sure that this was a name from the shinobi over to the side due to the pitch of voice he said it in. For some reason it seemed as though his head was jumbled up, he couldn’t really tell what was happening but his mind was definitely elsewhere. “Sorry for the late reply, I seem to be dazed.” Atem would say feeling his forehead. “Well, at any rate, I am Atem Chasseur if you didn’t hear me say to this man.” Atem said with an odd smile that was highly out of character.
“Well then, let’s head out to the training ground, did any of you have a specific one in mind?” Atem would say taking the lead which he hated so much.
[Kind of an odd post but it reflects how I’m feeling right now]

Kenshin would give a small smirk when he heard the two of them introduce themselves, the first to speak was actually the grey haired teen who until now had seemed very reluctant to speak “Aoelus” he would simply say, something that got a smirk from Kenshin, he had no reason to believe that he was lying about his true name and as such accepted the false name without a second thought. The next one to speak was the one whose name he had wished to learn for awhile now “Atem, Atem Chassuer” he would heard him say, something that got the small smirk on Kenshin’s face to widen a small bit, finally he had a name to put with the chakra signature. He heard both Atem and ‘Aoelus’ agree to head over to the training grounds for their spar, getting a small smile and a nod from Kenshin as he began to walk with them over to the training grounds, but by the time he reached the training grounds with Atem ‘Aoelus’ was nowhere to be seen, he had been walking behind both Kenshin and Atem, perhaps while they walked at their leisurely pace he had fallen behind and gotten lost...nah, even Kenshin didn’t believe that, he believed that on their way to the training grounds ‘Aoelus’ had gotten some second thoughts about sparring and taken the chance to slip away from him and Atem when the opportunity presented itself, but despite the fact that he snuck away without a word Kenshin held no hard feelings for him. He could tell that ‘Aoelus’ hadn’t really been interested in the spar from the beginning.
Atem was still there with him but he did not really look like he was interested in sparring anymore, and besides, the silver haired teen was actually rather tired from all of the training that he had done so far, and as such he would be at a disadvantage if he were to actually spar with Atem, it was a little strange considering he had not felt the least bit tired when he had actually offered the spar but he decided not to question it. Something was bothering him though, for some unknown reason it almost felt as if a great deal of time had passed since Kenshin had first offered Atem the spar, of course this can’t have actually happened since he only offered the spar around five minutes ago but the feeling was still there. But that wasn’t what bother him the most, no, what bothered him the most was the fact that he wasn’t really able to remember exactly how strong he was at the moment or how many jutsu that he knew, which was very strange considering he had only finished training around twenty minutes ago, but he knew that this strange sensation must have something to do with the feeling that a great deal of time had passed. “I’m very sorry for this Atem, but I am afraid I will have to stop this spar before it can even begin, I am feeling very... strange, right now, I’m sure it’s nothing too serious but just I would prefer not to spar in this condition, as it would give you a rather large advantage over me.” the silver haired teen would explain. He would nod once to Atem before departing from the training grounds and making his way back to the inn where he was staying, determined to get a large amount of sleep in the hopes of ridding himself of this strange feeling.
As Kenshin walked through the rather bustling streets of Hoshi on his way home he would constantly bring a hand up to his face and lightly massage his temples, the strange feeling had given him a rather intense headache and he despite all his knowledge in the medical arts he was unable to think of a good reason as to why the pain was there. He had tried using the Mystical Palm to soothe the feeling but it had failed because there was nothing actually wrong with him, physically he was fine and mentally he could see no reason why he felt this way, but one specific saying came to mind as he contemplated heading to the hospital, and the saying was ‘time heals all wounds’, something that the silver haired teen knew to be true. From there he would continue on his way towards the inn, determined to simply sleep off these extremely strange and confusing feelings, telling himself that if the feelings persisted that he would go to the hospital for a check up, but hopefully it would not come to that
