The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk] Empty The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk]

Fri May 27, 2016 8:31 pm
B Rank: The Great Escape
Mission:

Kanshi awoke to a sky full of trees as he felt like death to put it lightly. The thought of moving a limb was out of question and the ringing in his head latched a tight grasp. Suddenly, a floodgate of memories came in as he wiped off his saliva.
"I went a bit too hard last night... SHIT!"
He jumped to his feet with a second wind as he remembered the mission he was going to do with the squad was today. Kanshi quickly grabbed all his gear and ran straight towards his house as fast speeds with a sore body and a hammering headache. He had passed out after using too much chakra practicing for the big mission. This was big for him, really big for him. The thought of leading three people into a fight against some rowdy teenagers with a death wish sounded like a good time to him. Kanshi didn't feel far off from invincible, remembering the accuracy and speed his throws had. He had trained so many jutsu from the encyclopedia and had just such a long list of jutsu under his belt. It was really going to happen, he was going to take the next leap with his squad.

Kanshi, after preparing himself for the mission at home (sleeping till the middle of the afternoon), would read his jutsu encyclopedia for fun as he waited at the village gates for the others to arrive. It was pointless to be reading a book he knew front and back, but he might as well just do something slightly... interesting? He was wearing a vest with his black suit this time and had a little handkerchief in his pocket for no reason but to add to the look. It would have been smart to not dress formal to a duel, but he didn't care.

The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk] Empty Re: The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk]

Waking up in the middle of the park bench in the leaf village, Tatsurama remembered today was the day of his mission with the whole squad. He had been preparing and training for today, and was certain he would be completely fine, as well as the rest of the team. Especially with how..strong Kanshi is.
Never fear, we have Kanshi to protect us, if things go wrong.
He had tried to think, pushing back the memories of the fateful day his sensei was Kanshi'd. He looked around and picked up his gear, checking to make sure none of it is gone, and then began to make his way to the village gate where they were meeting up for the mission. Hoping he wasn't late, seeing as his brother was the one usually late, he decided not to rush it and casually strolled to the village gate while looking at the sky.
This'll be a fun mission i can tell. What are we supposed to do? Kill and capture some rogue genin? Easy. Especially with my new jutsu.
As he made it close to the village gate, he saw Kanshi reading a book next to it as he awaited everyone to arrive. Tatsurama formed a handseal, attempting to use the jutsu he had been practicing for awhile now, and began to slowly and awkwardly sink into the ground. He managed to get halfway from his original position to Kanshi's position before it began to give out thanks to his lack of ability to perform the jutsu. Kanshi'd would notice a bulge in the ground about 10 meters infront of him as Tatsurama's head popped up out of the bulge.
"Hey, made it here before the other's i guess."
He said before getting himself out of the ground and moving over beside Kanshi.
"Welp i'm all prepared for the mission now, and with my new jutsu i'll make sure none of us get hurt."
He said as he began to sit down next to the gate awaiting the others to get there for the mission.

The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk] Empty Re: The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk]

It was the day of 'the big mission' and Kosurama had just woken up from his afternoon nap. He had subsequently decided to rest in the first place due to his intense morning training, managing to learn two (and a half) jutsus in one sitting. He rubbed his eyes and glanced at the wall clock on the other side of his bedroom.
"Nards!"
Kosurama shot out of bed and quickly threw on some clothes, looking very disorderly. He grabbed his headband from his desk drawer and fastened it around his forehead.
"I haven't even met my squad (besides Tatsurama) and i'm already making a poor impression."
He checked his reflection in a mirror to comb out his bedhead. If his squad mates knew he was sleeping right before the start of a mission they would never take him seriously. Kosurama bolted downstairs and strapped on his shoes, leaving without anything to eat. He helplessly scanned the area for the village gates, somehow forgetting such a basic landmark. He noticed the two humongous red pillars over the treetops and ran that direction. While running, Kosurama realized he had spontaneously gotten much faster.
Well at least one good thing that happened in the past fifteen minutes. He said jokingly.
Kosurama suddenly stopped and came to the conclusion that he had no gear to weigh him down... He had forgotten his weapons and supplies in his bedroom.
Why now?!
The young Senju immediately turned around and ran back to in the direction of his home. He swiftly hopped onto his roof and slid his bedroom window open. Kosurama ran in, grabbed his gear and climbed back out the window onto the roof. He slammed the window behind him and leapt off onto a small patch of grass. The genin then took off in the direction of the village gates, somewhat breaking a sweat at this point.

In the distance Kosurama could see two figures. One was clearly his brother, and the other appeared to be a washed up looking man wearing a tacky suit with a vest over it.
Glad i'm not the only one looking unprepared.
Kosurama slowed down to catch his, watching as his brother conversed with the strangely dressed man. Kosurama then realized there were four total people in a squad, including the sensei.
Well at least i'm not the last...
Once Kosurama had caught his breath, he approached his presumed squad members.
"Sorry i'm late, my name is Kosurama Senju." he said while bowing to the mysterious man.

The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk] Empty Re: The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk]

Takamitsu had woken up early this morning, despite his late sleep. Rashi, his old instructor who had helped Takamitsu after his family had fractured over the defection, wanted to speak with Takamitsu so the boy spent most of the morning at the academy. The conversation was mainly about how the boy was adjusting to his life as a genin, and about how, in specific, Kanshi's team was. Before Takamitsu started to head to the village gates, he was given a small letter addressed to Kanshi. Takamitsu calmly pocketed the letter and began to head to the village gates. In a reoccuring theme, the boy's outline could be seen from far away, arriving several minutes late. He calmly arrived, bandages once again over his left hand and arm. Whether it was from some injury during the training last night or something that happened, afterwards he wouldn't say, but the bandages seemed to be new.

"Let's kill these traitors and go home."
Takamitsu glanced over towards the new squad member, his eyes scanning his entire form. "Another member..." The boy took a small step forward, and then looked towards Tatsurama.
"Brothers?"
Takamitsu didn't bother with introductions, instead turning his attention towards Kanshi, pulling the small letter out of his pocket and holding it out casually towards the well dressed ninja. "I don't know what's in it, just that it was addressed to you." Finally, after Kanshi would take the letter, the boy would slice his thumb on a kunai hanging off of his side. Takamitsu performs the Monkey and Ram hand signs before he places his hand on the ground, summoning a long and slender fox that begins to crawl up Takamitsu's leg.
"Tetsuya, we'll need your help tracking a few novice ninja. From the mission report they were camping out near the deserts in the Land of Wind's borders in a cave. Some direction would be appreciated."

"Oh hey Tatsurama, still interesting as ever."
Looking over he could see thing 2 coming into the scene and this one actually bowed to him. It seemed as if Tatsurama's cousin or whatever was here. Any other squad leader would have made sure ever member was ready for the mission, but Kanshi hadn't even met this new addition until now. This mission might be a failure, but Kanshi had confidence that the squad could do it.
"You are Kosurama right? The new addition to the squad? I'm Kanshi and that's Tatsurama, as you probably know."
Looking over it appeared as if Takamitsu was heading towards them and as he closed in bandages were noticeable on him. Kanshi begin to realize that a sore squad leader, a wounded member, a new member, and Tatsurama as the only fine person might have been a bad start, but he felt happy that maybe Takamitsu had learned the technique he wanted. Unsheathing his katana, he looked at Takamitsu waiting. The second comment Takamitsu made, interested Kanshi.
"Those two are brothers? Well this is cool, I thought he was just your cousin."
Kanshi was then given a letter by Takamitsu in a daze and wondered what the meaning behind it was. Jokingly, he spoke.
"Well, never received a love note before."
After the fox was summoned and everything seemed to fall into place, Kanshi resheathed his katana and looked towards the location of the three rogue Genin. A cold smile crossed his face as he knew what happened outside of the village walls might not travel into them.
"We leave one alive, that is all we need. If he is too much for us to handle, we take a limb from him. The others are worthless trash that should be attacked without hesitation. Best case scenario, they surrender upon seeing us and don't risk injuries. Follow me and good job Takamitsu on the summoning jutsu."
After he finished his slightly heartless speech, he would glance at Takamitsu to see if he should open the letter now. The adrenaline was already within him as he thought about the best possible scenario for him: resistance from all of them. If the squad saw him purposely doing things as painful as he possibly could, would they care? He felt riveted by the very thought of breaking every bone in their traitorous bodies and felt his dark urges show their face masked by the entire operation being for the sake of the village. Whatever happened in this mission, he was going to enjoy his wrath being put upon them more than anything else.

Seeing both his brother and then Takamitsu show up, Tatsurama stood back up and awaited for everything to get in order to go on the mission. He watched his brother, noticing he wasn't the last to show up for once.
"Seems you weren't late this time Kosu, and now you finally get to go on your first mission too. Just keep an eye out and work with the team, and we should all be fine."
Tatsurama then turned his view over towards Takamitsu arriving and had bandages wrapped on himself. He wondered what happened, but figured he is alright, as if it was anything serious he wouldn't be going on a B-Rank mission.
"Finally, a mission where we will actually see some action. Hopefully we can complete it without any injuries. I for one am ready. I've been training a crap-ton, and i learned a few jutsu i would like to try out for real."
He then made his way out of the gate, seeing as everyone else was all here and presumably ready. He then walked a few paces out, and turned around.
"Let's go. Also where the hell are they, actually?"
He said, as he had no clue where to begin looking, so he was hoping one of the other had tracking skills to help with that.

The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk] Empty Re: The Meh Squad vs. The 3 Stooges [p/io/nk]

After being greeted by both his brother and the squad leader, Kosurama noticed a bandaged up fellow enter the scene.
This must be the guy that hurt himself for no intentional reason. he said to himself, recalling the story his brother told him of their training.
Kosurama watched as the mysterious squad member handed a mysterious note to the mysteriously dressed man. This squad seemed kinda sketchy. Once the two finished conversing, the bandaged genin (still doesn't now IC name) pulled out a kunai and used it to draw blood from his thumb.
This guy has a summoning too? I really must be getting one of those sometime soon.
The boy slammed his palm onto the ground, creating a generic summoning cloud -- a small red fox then emerged. Kosurama, still unsure what to do in this situation listened to the boy and the fox's conversation. He had just realized his brother was talking to him this entire time, not hearing a single word he said. Kosurama turned to his brother who suddenly began to walk towards the outskirts of the village, listening to him as he questioned how we were going to go about tracking these missing-nin.
"Dummy, weren't you listening? Our fox friend here is going to help track down the genin." He said ironically, knowing fully well he wasn't listening to his brother earlier.
Kosurama began to trail behind Tatsurama, hopefully heading in the direction of the Land of the Wind.

The boy began to unwrap his bandages, revealing light burn marks on his wrist and hand, the injuries slowly becoming more sparse heading up the boy's arm. Kanshi and Tatsurama might notice that he had similar bandages when he had started to learn Hell Stab, and this was likely coming from a similar technique. Takamitsu began to look towards the direction that the fox was sniffing, starting off at a walk when Tatsurama began to leave.
"The name is Takamitsu, by the way."
Takamitsu looked down towards his burns as he walked, thinking. He didn't know when they would heal, but they weren't exactly inhibiting his movement or battle capacity as the burns appeared to mostly be light. Judging by Takamitsu's healing capabilities, he was likely going to be fine for the mission. He shook his head slightly, as he didn't want to get lost in his thoughts on a mission like this. He turned towards Kosurama as he walked, thinking.
"How capable are you?"
The boy's voice was extremely calm, and his face was mostly expressionless. His eyes appeared slightly sad, but that might just be because of the dark blue color that were remarkably similar to his mother's. He raised a hand to scratch at the back of his head, awaiting a response. Takamitsu liked to have battles planned out before they even started, so they could be resolved with very little hassle. One of the tactics he was a fan of during simulation was working in pairs, having their attacked both covered and supplemented by another partner within the team itself. Takamitsu had little experience battling alongside his current team, so he wasn't quite aware of how well his fighting style would mesh with each member. He knew that with Kanshi's quickness he could have every one of his powerful attacks connect due to strategic throws and group tactics, and that with Tatsurama they could likely take down each of the genin easily with powerful jutsu, but this new squad member was a mystery to him.
"If we're unfamiliar with each of our fighting styles, we could possibly die."
Takamitsu assumed that if he didn't say it now, Kanshi would likely say something similar later.
"We can learn now, we've likely got a long walk ahead of us to the border."
The fox on his shoulder silently flicked its tail to the side, gazing calmly towards the horizon. Tetsuya didn't seem to talk very much.
"Tetsuya can be a bit impatient, so I wouldn't be opposed to picking up the pace if everyone else can handle it."

Seeing Takamitsu's burns under the bandages were a bit unsettling to Kanshi as he made the connection of the bandages he wore back when he first met the kid. The fox seemed to move forward as Tatsurama was reminded by his brother about how the fox would lead the way. Kanshi stood silent, worrying that Takamitsu might have gone a bit too far in his training. This idea was confirmed as the boy seemed to talk to the new kid about this squad being immensely serious. Just as he was about to tell Takamitsu to settle down, the boy came up with a solution to the issue, which calmed down Kanshi. The letter still bothered him, now that he knew there was even more to this squad member than he expected. He kept oddly quiet as he began to take it out and open it along the way, but as he finished the last sentences the connection he made felt considerably more important. It was chilling to think that it was all on the sheet before him. Takamitsu could have opened this letter out of curiosity and could have been killed. Kanshi felt it was better to leave the squad member feeling happy and calm and spoke happily.
"You really are something Takamitsu. Apparently, it seems as if whoever wrote this letter sees a vast amount of potential in you that he felt was important for me to see. It seems like your hard work paid off..."
He paused and smiled at Takamitsu.
"...however, you always have more to improve on, just like everyone in this squad. I will take into consideration that you got a letter of how great you are, but if I ever was out of the picture, I would ask Tatsurama to take over until I was okay again. Your emotions are strong and I fear they may influence your judgement. That is all I have to say on the matter."
Kanshi had a fear that he might be getting too close to Takamitsu. He made sure to not play favorites, even though he truly felt that Tatsurama might be the best suited leader. Thinking this, reminded him.
"Tatsurama, did you know Takamitsu attacked himself as you were with your summon last time we are all together?"
He would whisper this to Tatsurama and follow the squad's lead.

Tatsurama had been just following the Fox, while listening to what they had been saying. He was not sure what the letter was, but he did seem interested. Seeing as the way Kanshi reacted to it meant he was probably something. He didn't know what the something was, but it was definitely something.
He just ignored his brother as he was speaking to him while preparing for the fight ahead. He had planned to start it off with his new wood release technique, then form some wood clones from it. He felt it would be an easy win after that. Though he didn't like to take people hostage. He preferred the alternative as it was less risky, and he did not like risk. He heard Kanshi walk up and whisper to him about Takamitsu's self-inflicted injury.
"What? Why the hell did he do that?! And no, i wasn't paying attention as i was talking and training with Gamakuro."
He said, trying to wrap his head around as to why Takamitsu would hurt himself. Hoping things didn't get more edgy later on. He turned around to glance at Takamitsu, noticing the bandages in more detail, wondering if that was why he had the burns. Not knowing much about Takamitsu's past, he would have no idea what most of anything about him, besides how he looks, his name, and the time they met at the academy and the training they did with their squad leader. He had always considered Takamitsu a friend, and even more so a rival, yet he realized he still had a lot more to learn about him. Setting that thought aside to think about the mission again, he turned to his brother, and wondered how he would do in the fight.
"Kosu, when we get into the fight back me up with your new jutsu as i attack them. I feel it'll work well. Seeing as we have a lot of practice training together. And if you feel we can't take them, go jump next to Kanshi, he's pretty strong"
He said, forgetting the fact he had been Kanshi'd. The senju then turned back towards the walk, while listening in to Kanshi about their conversation.
