Raging and Rampant Creatures

As the sun rose over the majestic village of Hoshigakure,the gleam engulfed a white haired man and his wolven brother. Tōga and his companion Okami, sitting upon the roof of one of the various shinto style arches that dot the village. Both being rather lazy today as a messenger hawk landed between them, Tōga removed the small scroll, unfurling it and examining the contents.

‘Good Afternoon,
You and a fellow member of the shinobi forces have been selected to assist our research and development division, there was a mishap and a few animal test subjects have slipped away. You and your comrade will be tasked with capturing and returning the animals to the scientist’s involved. Tōga, you specifically have been chosen for your tracking capabilities. Meet at the research facility where we can present you with all information needed to track the animals and to meet with your selected comrade.’

Tōga sighed as he lay his right hand on the hind leg of Okami, their telepathy linked as he spoke “Ready to hunt?” Okami agreed and the two made haste for the research center. It only took a few minutes for them to arrive, a dark haired man with square framed spectacles opened the door asking if this was in fact the Inuzuka member Tōga. They began to converse after the identification was settled, waiting for the arrival of the second member to their small tracking squad.

While waiting, the scientist gave Tōga a few items noting each one would hold scents related to each of the missing animals. He knew from research that Inuzuka had a strong canine like sense of smell, With a nod Tōga accepted the various items but waited to begin familiarizing himself with the scents until his squadmate arrived and they could carry out the mission.
