Serene Waves [P]

Finding spare time for himself, Nemui took some time to contemplate things while aimlessly wandering around the village. The time was approximately five in the afternoon when he'd eventually come to be slowly pacing along the coastline, with the main docks some few hundred meters in the distance. Echoing bells rang out all the while from the docks, signaling ship arrivals and departures; the sounds of which were dulled considerably to a soothing melody where Nemui currently stood. The boy took a moment to observe his surroundings and take in the scenery. Waves cautiously crept their way towards him before slinking back well before reaching him. Small crabs sidled away, trying their best to avoid him. A beautiful sunset cast itself upon the land, delivering a picturesque sky that could only be considered a blessing to behold.

Nemui absorbed the moment before taking his shoes off, awkwardly standing on one foot at a time so he wouldn't be forced to sit down. With their removal he'd slowly walk into the water until it covered his ankles, at which point he'd stop, allowing the waves to massage his feet, of which were sore from the many hours of standing guard at the gate. The boy would close his eyes, allowing the mixture of sounds from his surroundings to become all he'd observe and ponder the origin of.
