Missing Pets [Mission]

The first clone was going to have to handle the job on his own. Five of them were around while Haruki and the old lady were talking at her own place. He had three lightning clones and two shadow clones look around the area to find the cats. It was not even working when one thought about it, yet he was able to gain the benefits since five versions of himself were doing the trick for him. Oh, how blissful was life for him? The boy would take the little cat that he was chasing down the street, the chasing being intense since it was so small and nimble, making the capture a lot more difficult. However, it was a pet that was not willing to stay still. And the host of that was going to be him capturing the little creature. Placing his arms out, he would bump into a few villagers in the process. Some were angered by it, some would just look at him, but none of them would actually try to stop the lightning clone from the task he had at hand. It was much too easy for anyone to get angered, but even easier to just stay out of the way. Many of them took pity on him since he was a child, and since he was chasing a cat, it was going to be much easier to just let him go and have his fun. Well, that was what it looked liked, but that was not reality. However, one young lady in particular, who did seem like a fellow ninja due to her headband on her forehead, would pick up the little bundle of fur while it was about to charge under her legs to make an escape. Here you go. You don't have to chase him around anymore. The lady would tell him placing a smile on his face as she gave him the cat. It was calm when it was being held, so that was a plus side. It would have been annoying to avoid all of the claws that it was able to lash out provided he did not have it in place. Once he had the situation handled, the lady would walk away to go do whatever she was doing before. However, the excited cat out of the bunch would be caught, leaving four more of them left to be captured. There was no time to rest, and the Lightning clone would proceed to return back to the old woman's house. She will be happy to see that his part of that task had been done.

The second cat did not go down without a fight, trying to take down the Shadow Clone that it was facing off against. They were both in a random empty house, in which once the clone had found it, would find himself in a battle against. Well, not the battle, but in self-defense mode. It was a fighter, ready to fight for its life, even when there was no danger in the first place. You are a frisky little one, but that does not mean I won't handle you! The Shadow clone would exclaim, receiving a hiss from the cat before it would pounce at him, only to miss as he stepped to the side. It just had to get close enough before he could carry out the Jutsu. It was rough, but he was able to get the task done as he would use the Tiger hand sign. With it, he was able to freeze the cat in place using the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu. With that, the little feline would not try to move, knowing full well that it had been beaten. Haruki would proceed to pick it up from the ground, gently but the body so that it would not be too uncomfortable. The fur was soft against him, it was almost enough to make him yawn. However, the clone proceeded to head back towards the house where he would find the original and the old lady. That made the excited and the feisty cat his own now. Two cats have been taken down, three more were left to go. This was an easy task, not much had to be done since there were only cats and all. They did not have any techniques or anything. However, this was not an E rank job, but a D rank one. Probably because most people don't use clones. That was unfortunate, but the original one would smile as he bit into the cookie knowing that he was not one of those people. There were other versions of him that were willing to help him out, and they were all rewards since they were all him. Heck, he should probably try to get 5 full time jobs with the clones. Who knows how many figures he'd get with that?

The third little kitty was a shy one, hiding stealthfully. However, it was unable to hide forom him once he saw it. While it did run away and was very nimble for a cat, he knew that he could tone down the poor little thing. To frighten it was a bad idea, and he full well knew this. Don't be afraid. I will return you back to your mother soon. She is waiting for you, you know. Haruki would explain, but the cat was not coming down. Now it was time to pull a prank since words don't seem to be getting to the animal's skull. He would form his hands to activate the Transformation Jutsu, allowing him to turn into a cat. With the cat, he was able to lure the shy one towards him. It was a sly move, but one that would work rather well. He waited before letting out a little "mew", an adorable cat he would make. The older cat, the real one, would come back down and try to greet him with a meow, only for Haruki to transform back and pounce onto the little thing, successfully getting it within his grip. It was not able to resist once he put up the Tiger Sign, meaning that he put it under the Paralysis effect, and as long as he held the sign, it was not going anywhere. It was much fun to be a sly little child. He was able to get his targets easily. Now it was time to return back. That made three out of the five cats. Two more, and he was done with that task, ready to claim the reward that was his, a bunch of cookies and some Ryo as well. The cats were being brought back, slowly, but surely. Soon, he would have them all within his reach.

The fourth one was simply a curious one. It did not care to run away, and it would just run around and do whatever it pleased. This was probably one of the hardest cats to catch, simply because it was able to go and do many things somehow. The lightning clone that was chasing it just was not able to get a good read on it. One minute, it was up on the roof of a building, the next, it was jumping onto a different room. A third minute, it was already running back down the isle of shops. Like, what? However, there was a job to be done, and he needed to get out of his way to get it. First things first, he was unable to use clone jutsu since he was a clone himself. But there was another Jutsu that he remembered. With his mighty number of Chakra that was flowing through his body, he would activate one of his favorite Jutsus, the body flicker. With it, the Chakra in his body would transfer over towards his speed, allowing him to travel at high speeds. Now he just had to leave the rest of it to unpredictablity. It wa hard to read him if he had enough speed, he just had to outsmart the cat that did not even knew about his existence. Placing his palm out towards it, he would line it up with his body before making a full on charge. That little kitty was his, and nothing was going to stop him. This of course meant that he had to push many people out of the way, opening up a road in the process, but they were not going to notice him, not at the speed he was going. And what did they expect him to do? Be a cat? Of course, he was going to have to get it and not frighten it, so he was not going at the highest of speed, but just enough so that the animal would not be alerted about his existence. Finally, he would leap up into the air when he was close, pouncing onto the animal and grabbing it in his arms, crashing onto the ground, but rolling himself over so that the felne would not get hurt in the process. It hurt, it hurt a whole lot more than one could imagine. But in the end, he got the cat, and that as the fourth one. One more, and the mission was completely. The dirt covered duo would proceed to walk home to get themselves some cookies.

The final cat was a nice one. It did not seem to have a problem with returning. Well that was easy. It would place it's paws out adorable at the shadow clone that was handling it, and he would lightly play with it for a little bit, sort of like a patty cake game. After a little bit, Haruki lost. Only he could do such a thing, so it was probably best not to ask him. Anyways, he would pick up the cat and get back towards the house. It was not that hard, despite having different personalities, each one was able to be resolved. They were very easy to spot and take care of. Though the fighting one did want to provide a challenge. The others were just doing it to be a little bit pesky, or in this case, the nice one was willing to return back to its mother. Placing out the cats, each of the clones would hold out the cats they got, all five of them, and the lady was more than happy to feed them as well. Despite the original wanting to summon them all back and have the cookies for himself, he had enough as it was, and they were the ones who did the work. Where the cookies went after they disappear was anyones guess, but it was a nice result. The mission had been completed, and another 1000 ryo had been placed in his pockets. Even better, nothing even had to be done. With this, job job ratio was much too perfect for him to be denied anything now. He could not wait to see how many he could rack up before the Kage would recognize him. Hopefully soon. But for now, he was going to have to go back home. There was a window to fix, and the 500 ryo has yet to be spent. Nea was returning back on the next day after today, meaning that the task needed to get done now while he had the chance. AS much as he would love to learn how to make such an amazing treat like these cookies, Haruki would be on his way, amking all of the clones disappear in the process. They no longer needed to do anything for him. So with that, he would proceed to avert back over towards the house, and then begin  to patch up the window. The clones will be needed by him once again, and this was going to be a job that paid better than any other one. Having Aunt Nea scold him by the end of it. Oh well, it was still a reward anyways.
