dagger hunt

Shi woke stretched for anther easy day by the wall before the hard core training. Shin got up and did some basic shadow boxing before, reaching for his knife and realizing he had lost it a long time ago in this house. He should of looked for it sooner but he's forgetfully at times but today was the day, he start to search up and down the house and after searching most of the morning. There was one room left, his father's old study. He didn't like to go in there as it was what was left of his father but he had to. Once inside he say the bibles still open and looking over the old room it was covered in dust and he should clean it but it felt wrong to him. After a couple mins he found the dagger on the floor. he hooked it onto his belt and after looking it over, it felt so natural in his hand. he did a couple practice swings. it was a part of him an extension of his hand. He couldn't believe he could let it get in such bad repair but with money so tight who could afford to get the blacksmith to fix it? One day he'll probably melt it down and reforge the whole thing but till then. Old faithful will be his dagger of choice for training at least, just like his dad before him. Just thinking back all the blood this dagger has spilled in the name of there faith makes him smile and lick up the blade, if it were sharper it would of cut him but not any longer but no thinking of the past, there food to be caught at the wall today.
