The party at Kalix's place (NK of course)

Greetings Ninja of the New Kirigakure,
As a member of the village order of ninja I humbly invite you to join me at my place to celebrate this new era in our glorious village.
Should you accept my offer I would be deeply honored by your presence. If of course you are busy elsewhere with tasks or assignments in the name of our Lord Mizukage; or perhaps you are uninterested you are not obligated to attend.
I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Kalix will have sent this invitation to each an every village ninja he knew of. It was about an hour before the time on the invitation said the party would begin and Kalix was ready to be a gracious host. His house was cleaned to perfection and decorated with great care.
Vials of Sake would be on shelves by the bookcase and more hot sake would be prepared in the back. Of course the first thing that the guests would smell would be the fresh scent of cooked fish caught just this morning from the docks. Rice would be steaming in the kitchen as well as a wide array of fruits and vegetables would cover the table.
Kalix would be wearing nice, but not ninja, clothes, his bright red hair would be tied up in a ponytail and he would be ready to greet his guests.
If anything, this would give Kalix a chance to show the village who he was and perhaps make a new friend along the way.
[Kiri ninja should have received an invitation, if not, you may still join and give another reason as to how you got here, of course this is a No kill topic, but understand that doesn't give a ninja the right to start ransacking the whole place without fear of retaliation :D.

Hinoki had just got up from yet another nap to go cook up some cup ramen, when he noticed that on his bedside table there was a letter addressed to him. He put on his rose tinted glasses and proceeded to reach over to get a kunai from the weapon pouch he had tossed haphazardly with his pants in the middle of his room. He then proceeded to cut horizontally and took out the letter. He read it slowly, still hazy from his slumber. After reading it multiple times and making sure it was not misaddressed, he lazily threw It aside “I have no time for parties.” He muttered to himself as he headed to make some cup ramen. As he reached the kitchen, he found no one there and remembered that his mother had told him something about a political gala or whatever. He opened the cupboard where the ramen are stored and to his shock, he found it empty.
Heading back to get his pants and head off the ramen shop, a thought passed as he gave a glance to the letter. “There might be food at the party” he thought to himself “Free Food.” He smiled to himself. “Guess I’m going after all”. He quickly pulled up into his Bermuda pants, not even bothering to drop off his weapon pouches. He was already in his blue floral shirt, as he had slept with it; so he quickly straightened it out with his hands, quickly retied his hair and made sure his purple tinted glasses were clean. Hinoki then made his way to Kalix’s party, following the directions at the bottom of the letter. As soon as he would smell the scent of food, he would switch from his normal lazy pace to a power walk.

Kalix would be patiently waiting for arrivals to come by. It had seems as though all hope had been lost for anyone to actually show up.
Then he heard the faint sounds of footsteps getting closer and closer to his open door. Could this be a guest? Kalix would think to himself.
He would walk to the door and peer outward, trying to see who was running and who they were running to.

The night had passed. No guests after all this preparation.
He would end his party. Saddened by the brute truth that he was nobody anymore.
