Alatreon Dislikes Domesticated Animals [Fast Food]

Having left his home earlier this morning, Mitako wandered about the village for a little while. This was all well before his usual daily routine, and it gave him a little quiet time to think. Xyxer was back in charge of the village, and he wasn't quite sure what happened to Haru, whom he assumed had met with some grizzly fate at the hands of the former and current Mizukage.

I would say he enjoyed the dazzling stars blotted across the dark early morning sky, but in place of the sky there was mist. Nothing but mist. Enough mist to shake a weiner at, actually. He still looked up however, despite seeing nothing.

After the sun had risen a bit he got a move on, his first duty being to feed Xyxer's hounds.

And so, he made his way to where the meat was kept. Upon arrival, he saw a person, which at first thought it briefly passed through his mind that they were the meat for today. He gave the sounds that were hitting his ears a focused listen, and found that he could hear the yipping yapping of a gaggle of adorable beady eyed puppers coming from the direction of the person, and realized who was the meat for today.

Approaching, he saw the usual box and came to assume that the person near it was going to feed the hounds slightly... smaller hounds. Just in case, and to make sure he wasn't abandoning anything, he came a little closer to the box before piping up.

If nothing had been said up to this point, the chuunin would walk straight up to the box.

"What do you want," escaped from his breath as he wrapped both hands around each side of the box. The way he spoke was blunt, and his tone was unamused.

Since I was too lazy to detail what he looks like at any point in my post, he's wearing all of his equipment, (chuunin jacket, swords strapped to his body in easy to reach places, etc), his black shoulder length hair is dangling around his face it clearly hasn't seen the best of days. His eyes are yellow, woohoo. Oh, and under the flak jacket he's wearing a grey shirt, black shorts that fall just below the knee, and no shoes.

Alatreon was unaware of the approaching boy till the moment he was beside her, she only shot him a glance before looking back at the puppies. The mission was to feed these things, so she thought, but there was no food in sight. It suddenly dawned on Alatreon that the boy might know where the food was kept, and then he spoke. It was a fairly blunt question to be asked without even introducing oneself. However, Alatreon could also be quite blunt at times so she didn't notice anything off about it. "I'm here to feed the Mizukage's hounds for a mission..." Alatreon paused, sighing out of frustration. "Just, can't see the food anywhere." She would then wait for the boy's response. Whatever these puppies were being fed clearly wasn't doing them any service. On closer inspection, they appeared to be malnourished. Surely the Mizukage of a village didn't treat his own pets like this?

Lifting the box with relative ease, despite the seven or so puppies inside, he opened his mouth to answer the person's question. "These guys are the food." Same tone as before and all that. "C'mon, I'll take you to the dogs."

There wasn't really a need for any introductions, Mitako didn't care enough to learn names and he could garner the information that she was both one of Kiri's ninja and new to the job from what the girl had said. If she was observant she would notice the flak jacket which symbolized his rank, and that would be just about all the necessary information she needed.

If she followed along, he would lead her to a post not far from the Mizukage's building. There, would be three rather large and muscled hounds chained to said post. Presuming she followed along, he would thrust the box into her and turn his back to the situation.

While most people would have been taken aback by a box of puppies being food for hounds, Alatreon's response was "Oh!" shortly followed by "Neat." She waved her left hand at the puppies that remained behind the fence, probably being saved for dinner. Alatreon didn't like domesticated animals; plus, her pain tolerance tended to rob her of empathy in certain situations, like this. She simply followed the boy, although his jacket didn't mean anything to her. Instead, Alatreon's decision to follow him was simply because he knew what was up. As someone who'd worked in engineering for some time, normally assisting with tasks rather than running them, the one taking charge normally had experience to back it up. However, upon stopping, the boy turned and shoved the box into her. As surprising as it was, she smelled something rather feral and turned to see the real hounds.

They were indeed more impressive than the gutter filth Alatreon currently held. As she wasn't stupid, Alatreon grabbed one puppy out at a time before tossing them to with the hounds. She made sure to keep enough distance between her and them, that she might avoid a lost hand. Eventually the box was emptied; a final, gurgled yelp marked the end of breakfast. Alatreon walked up on the boy's right side, standing practically shoulder to shoulder and facing the same direction. She then spoke with hardly a shred of emotion in her voice, "That's done, so, are you hungry?" With a brief pause, Alatreon patted her stomach before speaking again. "Because I am starving." Assuming the boy held the same sentiment and could eat after this, she would lead him to her favourite meat pie bakery.

He didn't really care to watch. Dogs weren't his favorite, but the sight of Xyxer's hounds ripping into fresh meat had left him with sleepless nights before. Or maybe it was the bijuu that kept him awake? Either way, he didn't want to risk it.

Assuming the fuck stick beside him would toss the entire box in one hurl and turn her back, he was surprised when he only heard one little thump at a time followed by yelping, then crunching, growling, and gurgling.

Once all the sounds from the meat had died down, the girl had was apparently unphased by the event. Neat.

Mitako was neither hungry nor repulsed, but slightly curious as to what dog tasted like. Either way, food wouldn't hurt him. "Take the lead," was all he said in response. Was it a good answer to her question? No, but he wasn't really one for talking too often and thus was bad at conversation. The chuunin would follow along to whatever place the she wanted to eat at.

Rip puppers.
