-HISS- wha... IT'S IN MY BEDROOM!!! (p)

A loud chirping noise of birds broke the silence that had spread itself over the small second-floor apartment in Sunagakure. An annoyed groan followed that sound as a pair of crimson eyes glared at the ceiling. For once, the curtains were not the issue. Using a pale hand, a couple of red strands of hair were moved out of the surface of the pretty face belonging to Rae Homare. The Sunagakure Kunoichi cursed under her breath as a streak of light met her hues. She dreamed of an new apartment. One with a large luxurious queen-sized bed, a comfortable black leather couch, huge windows adorned by crimson silk curtains. Yes. That would be perfect. A small yawn escaped the beautiful girl's rosy lips as she sat up on her bed. 

Something didn't feel right. Rae was warm. She was always warm. Her body temperature was always hotter than most normal people's so that wasn't a surprise. What surprised her was that she wasn't the only source of heat in the room. She hadn't come back home with anyone that night had she? No, she would remember if she had met anyone attractive enough for her to bring over. So what in the seven Hells was going on. Crimson eyes scanned across the bed, only to find an unusual creature lying on her bed next to her. Her breathing hitched in her throat as a bright red slitted eye opened itself to meet her own. It was small, probably about the size of a salad bowl and it was colored in several shades of green. She couldn't exactly say what it was until a small, two-sided pink tongue shot out of what appeared to be it's mouth. The female was so surprised at the small action that she fell off of her bed with a loud THUD. The creature continued to stare at the female as it uncoiled from it's circular position. A snake. A very weird snake, but one nonetheless. What the hell was a snake doing in her room. It couldn't have gotten inside over night, she had all of the windows and doors closed and locked. The small green reptile tilted it's head as it stared at the beauty curiously yet blankly. It seemed to have no intention of attacking her. 

The Homare orphan blinked several times. This was no normal reptile. It acted as if it could almost understand what was going on. As if it was human. Reaching her hand towards it in order to attempt to touch it, the girl felt a pair of sharp fangs sink themselves into her skin. Crimson gems widened at the action as a pain shot up her arm. It wasn't strong, but it was damned not pleasant at all. Panicking, the beauty started swinging her arm around in all directions in order to remove the jaws of the reptile from around her.  After a couple of minutes, when she realized that it hadn't budged at all, she stopped and attempted to use her free hand to pull it off. No luck there either. A small sigh escaped her lips as she locked her eyes onto the green creature's. "May you please let go of my hand?" She asked it. It was a dumb thing to do but she might as well try seeing that force was not working. Rae was beyond surprised when the snake obliged. So it did understand her? The girl was extremely shocked at the revelation. Her eyes never left those of the reptile as she moved to sit on the bed next to it. "Take a picture, it will last longer." A snarky voice told her causing her jaw to almost drop. Almost. The snake was smirking at her cockily. The red-head's eyebrow twitched in annoyance at the revelation. This was definitely no normal snake. Running a hand through her long hair, the beauty let a sigh escape her lips. "I'm sorry but who are you and how did you get into my apartment?" She asked it bluntly and received an amused-sounding chuckle from the small green reptile. It slithered to the highest point of her bed, that being her pillow, and stood to it's full small lenght as it introduced itself. "I am Lord Tatsuo the fourth, son of Lord Daigo the Second, Ruler of  Ryuchi Cave and the Snake race."  Rae could only nod at that majestic introduction. She found the creature amusing in it's own right. It was so small, yet it held such titles. Plus, she had already established that this was no normal animal. "As for how I got in here, I followed you in and slipped in before you closed the door." Rae felt a small creepy shiver run up her spine at that announcement. Why would it follow her? Wait, how did a snake know how to speak in the first place. And why HER. Cursing inside of her mind, the beauty stood up from the bed and walked over to the bathroom in order to change.

It hadn't followed her in so at least it did have some sort of manners. Slipping her usual attire on, the beauty came out of the bathroom with a comb in hand and her hair in the other. A mane like hers needed to be well kept. Looking around her apartment, she found that Tatsuo was in the same place that she had left it at, on the pillow of her small but cozy bed. The snake's gaze calmly turned to her as it heard her enter back into the room. "So, why did you follow me? I'm pretty sure that there's many other people roaming around Suna." She asked curiously as she glanced at her reflection in the mirror. She was as hot and as wild as ever.  The voice of the reptile snapped her out of her arrogant toughs as it gave her a clear answer. "You seemed warmer than the other humans." Turning to look at the creature, several emotions flashed through her eyes. First she was a bit creeped out, then she was confused, then she understood. Snakes had low body temperatures. Hers was a bit hotter than that of a normal person. It made sense that it would be attracted to her. But then again if that was the reason she should've had about a thousand snakes in her room by now. Tatsuo seemed to figure out exactly what she was thinking by the action of her tilting her head and looking up at the ceiling. "Normal reptiles don't have the ability to sense heat like I do. I, Lord Tatsuo am superior to them." It explained in self-praise causing Rae to sweatdrop. This little thing talked like it was the king of the world. It was amusing in it's own right. Walking over to it and picking it up, the red-head placed the animal on her shoulder, receiving no negative response to her action what-so-ever. She expected to hear something like "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH ME" or "RELEASE ME FOOL" but all she got was the feeling of cold scaly skin against her own. It wasn't a bad feeling. Walking over to the mirror and looking at her reflection once more, the girl felt pleased at seeing how good the little lord looked on her. He was almost like an accessory.  

Picking up her ninja headband, Rae tied it around her right arm and grinned. She loved being able to proudly represent Suna, even if it was just as a genin. "You're a ninja?" The snake asked in surprise as it looked at the reflection of the Sunagakure headband in what she could only assume was amusement. "Yeah." The beauty replied cheerfully before giving herself one last glance in the mirror and heading for the door. The whole idea of her being a ninja seemed weirdly intersting to Tatsuo as it kept on asking to know more details about her life. They went through her chakra nature which explained her body heat, they went through her jutsu knowledge, they went through her goals as a ninja... "The Kazekage huh? That's a pretty tall order." The snake hissed with amusement as the weird pair walked down the streets of the village hidden in the sand. The girl had been spotted and greeted by several of her fans already, many of them shooting confused glances at the creature that was resting on her shoulder. "Well, If I want something, I get it. I've made that my lifestyle. Working hard makes everything possible." The beauty explained as she put both of her arms behind her head and looked up at the sky. The little lord hissed in understanding as it continued to stare at her face. Rae didn't mind, but was also interested in why a snake was so interested in her. Like for heaven's sake this was a talking reptile which bit her the first time they met. If that wasn't fate I don't know what is. 

The smell of barbecued meat filled the beauty's nostrils and her head snapped in the direction of the amazing scent. Her legs automatically began moving towards the wonderful restaurant that served the most amazing barbecued pork. Walking in the place and sitting on a two-person table, the girl grinned like a little child that had just received candy. Taking Tatsuo off of her shoulder and placing him on the seat across from her, the girl asked it what it wanted to eat. The reptile seemed very confused at first before it's eyes landed on the words "Menu". "So this is what a human restaurant feels like. How odd." It said as the girl grinned at the waited and ordered three servings of pork for herself. "Do you have white mice? Or cats?" The little lord asked the waitress casually. In return he received a confused look, whether it was from the realization of a talking snake or the order, Rae did not know. In the end, the green reptile ended up getting chicken. It was not very amused at the "limited menu" that the place offered.
