Kalix Learning Pheonix Fire (T)

Jutsu was important to learn. Today Kalix was going to learn a new fire technique. The phoenix flower jutsu was one founded in the hidden leaf a long time ago. It was used by great fire users in its time but now it seems to have become more of a token technique to have instead of an important addition to ones arsenal. Today Kalix was going to learn that technique or he was going to start training it at least. There was no telling how much progress Kalix would get on his first day. It was nothing like he had ever trained before since this point. So he was definitely hoping that he could do it and be done with it soon. After all there could be a point where he needs to protect his village or his kage at all costs. Having a complete arsenal to use during a fight would be the best for a team. So there were many advantages to going  to train a strong and very useful jutsu like this one.
Kalix would start his day similar to his normal routine. He would get up just before the dawn arrived. HE would make his room from his sleep. Keeping a clean living space was very important to Kalix. Doing his best to maintain a consistent cleanliness meant that he didn’t have to deal with the clutter and other nuiscances that they may provide. Besides it was tradition for a Terumi to be presentable at all times. Failure to be presentable would mean that a opportunity would mean trouble if of course it came about. So Kalix knew that he had to be at his best performance in order to achieve that goal. Since today was a special day and there was a lot to get done. Kalix decided that doing some housework before he went out to train was the best. He would take his sheets and wash them down so that all the dirt and sweat that he had would go off of them. HE would leave him by his heater for them to dry for the day. When he got home he would have to make his bed up again. But that was of little consequence thought the young genin. There were many matters that he had to attend to.
Next up on the list was his breakfast. There were many different meals for him to choose from but he always seemed to go back to rice with some nice fish or other lean meat and some water. He didn’t have a craving for sweets or for the fancy foods in the morning. His extensive training of the importance of a healthy diet were extremely important now that he was out on his own. He would not be able to make meals that would be unhealthy for Kalix as he again wouldn’t be at his best for when an opportunity arises. AS he was making his meal he would laugh a bit as he thought about that. Funny how he was having such and issue with training the earth element that he was already consistent with life all along. He had a will to not eat the bad foods to stay in bed late. He wanted so much to prove that he was ready to learn a new element that he didn’t see that all he had to do was look within. This would have saved him many weeks of training and trouble now that he thought about it. But that was beyond the point of the training. He knows of his mistakes for the next time. This way he will be able to do other things necessary for him to complete his training of his new jutsu. For now his focus needed to be on that.
With his breakfast down and his body feeling ready to go the young genin of the new mist village would get dressed in training clothes and he would head down the monument. It was good to do some meditation there every once and awhile. And by that he thought to himself how he should be doing it every day. Some days he was good with doing his meditation. But many others he would accidently be doing other work at home or he would simply see how many people were there, if he went in late, and realize that there was no way he would feel stable and secure meditating there. Alas today would be fortunate. He was only about 15 minutes late from his original plan of being there as the sun was rising onto the islands. This meant that all he had to do was cut his meditation a bit short today.
After about 30 minutes he would being heading to the beach for more physical training of the technique.

As he was walking to the beach he would think about all that he has learned about fire in the past few weeks. There was a lot that he personally went through since he decided to go on this journey. But this wasn’t the time to think about the past. It was a chance to learn for the future and train to be the very best ninja that he could be. Going through the many gates and passageways through the islands Kalix would find himself in the wrong place of the village. He had taken a lot longer thinking about his past then he realized. This wasn’t the first time he had done this in his life but it sure had been awhile. The past creeped up on him like a small child trying to sneak behind their siblings: Kalix knew that it was there but he couldn’t shoe it away or it would cause even more attention. This time Kalix was entranced by his past so much that he found himself all the way on the other side of the village. Way past anything he had ventured to in recent memory. These memories would stay with him for a little while longer.
Kalix decided to take a rest on a bench and watch the people going about their day. This area of the village was dense and with a lot of low income housing. HE could see some ninja walking about the area but it wasn’t as popular as the main center of the village. Kalix believed that this area could be a breeding ground for crime in the village seeing these few things. There was a lot of people looking to find a better life and would do anything to get it. More or less this was a place that Kalix was unfamiliar with in many ways.
Never the less after about 10 minutes or so of people watching many of the scenes that he saw grew boring. He would begin his journey back to the beach where he was going to train in the first place. The walk took about 30 minutes to complete but Kalix knew that it put him behind even further than normal. He had gotten up earlier today because of the rain and now he had wasted that time. His arrogance about the time had stopped him from training and now he might not finish mastering his technique. His hear t began to race like the he was on the chase from something. It was as though his jutsu was going to haunt him until he finally got it learned. Kalix realized that he did do a lot of panicking when he was running late. Perhaps that was a side effect of him being a fire user. Fire is meant to be fast and very active so when he is running late maybe he is at his most active. Kalix loved the sensation of being on time crunch now. It forced him to be 100% focused on the task he needed to complete and nothing else. This made him far more powerful than he was before and a far greater asset in battle. He was training his mind to slow down enough so that he didn’t make any mistakes while he was in his focus, but he was for sure interested in knowing how far he would be able to take his training.
Now it was time for Kalix to arrive at the beach to begin the training. He would start by mastering the hand signs needed for the technique. There were quite a few, a lot more than any other technique he had ever tried to train so he would need to focus on getting the jutsu signs down. This proved to be an easy task however as Kalix would find that every hand seal was easy to do in that order and instead would be the easiest part of learning the technique. There were other more important matters that Kalix needed to attend to if he was going to master it. The hand signs however were the most fundamental part of the technique, and he was pleased that he was able to master them so easily.
Now was time for a bit of physical excercie before he incorporated chakra into his training. He would ensure that he was well warmed up by doing some stretching and some running around the beach. This would allow for his body to be loose while he was training and give him a sense of flexibility when he was training. Although he never had a proper teacher when he was in his youth Kalix spent a lot of time reading books on the human body. There was a lot to know about it and it would be a great feat for any ninja to learn everything about it. Some have and that is how Kalix was able to know this about his body. That learning would come in handy now that he was training jutsu on almost a daily basis. The first and last thing that he knew to do warm up and cool down the body with the right tools, which definitely makes learning much easier.
Now that this was done the next part was putting the chakra into the technique. He would begin by doing the hand signs and trying to split the fire ball into 6 different entities. The first few attempts did not work out like that. He would prepare the hand signs but it would be very difficult for him to actually control all his fireballs without him clumping them all up into one massive one. The next issue on his list would be actually being able manipulate all of them in every separate direction. There was a lot of learning to do about this technique so Kalix would spend a lot of time training this. Aiming his flame at the beach he would try again and again to do this. When he realized that it would take a long time for him to actually achieve it that way he decided that he was going to try to at least split them into two fireballs. This proved to be not as difficult for him as there was less to manipulate. He would focus on have the two fireballs split apart from each other and then at the end of their range he would have them converge on single point as to do a pincer attack. His next goal was to try three fireballs. Each would be a bit smaller than the two but he would have one go on his right, one go on his left, and one aimed directly in the middle of his target area. This one proved to be the easiest of the three because he didn’t have to do much manipulation of it. When he had mastered that he would have 2 go on his left, 2 go on his right, and on go in the middle, making it five. Each fireball was significantly smaller than the ones prior but when they all hit the same target he would have a lot of pleasure when he actually hit. Having mastering the technique he would head back home.
