A Fortuitous Meeting

Reizo would follow Max to the open grounds where the twins were. Shortly after arriving however, a silhouette appeared bounding from the trees. All Reizo could think was "oh shit" as he knew Senshi was about to pull some crazy shit. The Genin's initial reaction was to dive for Max, but there was no time to even move. Reizo ducked and tucked his head under his arms, crouching to the ground as the weapons appeared out of nowhere, showering the four genin with blunted kunai and shuriken, and glitter. Reizo's back hurt like a bitch as the weapons pelted him, but at least his head was unharmed thanks to his blocking maneuver.

To Reizo's surprise, a village Jounin appeared and summoned Team Red to the mission office. Reizo perked up and nodded, realizing he would need to spend as much of the twenty minutes as he could showering and finding a change of clothes. Hopefully Max was in good enough condition for this upcoming mission. "Nice meeting you two, hopefully we'll see you again," Reizo would say, not even looking at the twins as he left the area. He didn't even realize he had knocked Komon unconscious. Hopefully the smarter twin did not hold any grudges.

Senshi had sprung out from hiding, leaping high into the air and pulling out some scrolls. Immediately Stein would begin to prepare to defend his liege from the assault. As Senshi began launching the weapons at them, Stein would cover Max completely with his immense body, forming a protective shield of sorts from the blunted weapons. The weapons were moving fast, but they were still incapable of harming the giant puppet.
 
Once the assault was over, Stein would uncover the boy. Just then all of the projectiles “popped” and shot glitter and such everywhere covering the kid with the stuff, along with making Stein look like he had been wearing body glitter. Realizing what Senshi had done, he would nod and clap. If those had been explosive tags, the boy would have been killed most likely. He’ll keep that in mind for the future.
 
Then a higher ranking shinobi called out the members of his team. Looks as though they had a mission to do. They wouldn’t have a lot of time to get back either. Max would have to pick up the pace and keep up with the other two members of his team as they headed out. Then he had the sudden feeling that he wasn’t remembering something, and decided to turn around.
 

Seeing the battered genin around him, Max would direct his skeletal puppet (who just barely survived that onslaught with 51 being needed to break the little ones :D) to go and pick up the twins. They looked pretty beaten up and Max would feel bad for just leaving them here like that. Then Stein would pick up Max and carry him on his shoulders though the forest and back to the village.
