Visiting a Friend

"Much appreciated." Max would say as Komori put up the Water Wall and blocked the fire.

Napa would rush 20 meters into the air to dodge the incoming blasts from Komori (at a speed of 100). Normally, rushing to the air was a risky move, but because of his puppetry talents, Napa could 'float' of sorts. This would make it a much less risky move for him than most. 


After that, Sora would grab a kunai from his pouch and announce that he was going to attack Napa. Max would understand his reasoning, but also now know that he had been planning to throw it at Napa. Max would immediately start a countermove.

The puppet would reach into its pouch and grab a handful of the blunted Kunai from Senshi's trap training extravaganza. The puppet would launch two at Sora, (Speed 90, Sharpness: 50 [blunted]), not aimed to "clash" but to miss the kunai completely and head straight for the guts of Sora. A third would be launched at the incoming kunai (Speed: 115, Sharp: 91) in an attempt to knock it off course.

Napa would continue his motion, aiming to use his faster speed to grab the kunai midair and now launch it (preferably still with lightning stuff on it if possible) at the water based Hozuki. Lightning jutsu was known to be strong against water, and so he would hope that it would help overcome the defenses of the nin (Speed: 115, Sharp:91) aimed at the Hozuki that had been protected by the water wall. Max was testing the defensive capabilities of the technique.

Sora's chakra chains were not fast enough to block the shuriken, but with the fact that he had ten of them he'd put them into a wall to literally stop the kunai, breaking two of the chains in the process. Sora had finally got what he wanted, he considered how fast Napa was as he grabbed the thrown kunai and had slung it at Komori.

Sora used Chakra Sensory to sense a great buildup in Komori's chakra, he turned to look at the Hozuki on the last hand seal and see a massive dragon created from water chakra propelling itself at him with an immense speed. Sora would have time to prepare as he was still far away from his two opponents. 

With all eight of his chakra chains, he put them in front of him and watched as the dragon exploded in glory at connecting with them ten meters away from Sora's body. Even though it was ten meters away from the force of the powerful jutsu connecting with something connected to his body sent him flying back a bit. Three chakra chains had broken in that attack and the others were weak, Sora had just enough time to stab the rest of his chakra chains into the ground to stop him from flying any farther.

Sora quickly realized and summarized his attacks. Napa would've known the kunai was coming, but it was at a good cost as he didn't want to intimidate the Hozuki as he had with his chakra chains at his twin. With a confirming nod of his head, he started to run through hand seals again for jutsu.

"Boar → Ram → Snake → Horse → Dragon," [Speed: 75] Sora said performing Raiton: Jibashi (Electromagnetic Murder). The boy aimed for Komori as his jutsu seemed to be water, and the boy wanted a higher advantage against him. [Power: 50 | Speed: 50]

He'd then turn back to Napa, "Horse → Tiger." [Speed: 75] He stated as he shot the Great Fireball at him in a concentrated steam. [Power: 40 | Speed: 40]. It was a puppet, so it'd burn. If Napa was planning or even not planning to dodge Sora had a plan for that too. 

"Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger," [Speed: 75] Sora whispered to himself as he shot six fireballs from his mouth. The Great Fireball and Electromagnetic Murder would be about at both of them. Sora would split three fireballs each and turn to them, aiming to hit them mostly if they dodged. [Power: 40 | Speed: 40]

He'd then wait to see what they did and plan even more counter attacks.

Napa would see the Hozuki manage to quickly roll away from the attack, but before he could press the opening he would notice the boy getting up while holding a Clone seal. In an instant, Napa had been outnumbered, and he had no clue as to which of the Komori's had been the real one and not merely a clone. 

One of the Komori's shot forwards at Napa while the other went towards the Uzumaki. Sora still had out those weaponized chains, so it wasn't clear how effective the rushing clone would be. He would then notice that it had just been a distraction, as the other Komori had formed many hand seals and then shot a large Water Dragon forming from the water of his wall. 

Napa wouldn't be very fast, but the puppet would do his best attempt at a "parry" of sorts, but his body justt hadn't been able to move fast enough to counter or defend. The puppet was knocked to the ground easily, small cracks from the impact making themselves clear on the rib cage of Napa. 

Max would give a nod to Komori, "That was a good move. I was barely able to keep up with it. Most of it had looked like a blur. I'll have to try and work on that. Plus, I have to check Napa when I can. That kick had a good deal of power behind it, too. I can see why you are ready to go for Chuunin." Max would say all of this with a kind smile, Napa not moving much.

Sora jumped up high to dodge the water balloons, but he knew there was no way to dodge the Chidori! The clone would jump through the air and pierce the boy's skin on his shoulder, not trying to make any fatal wounds or hurt the boy that much. He fell to the ground holding his shoulder and after using hand seals healing the deep cut.

"Good game Komori, good job Max, I think I'm going to get going," He'd walk over to where the other two shinobi were and hold out his hand for Komori to shake. If he shook his hand or not he'd walk over to Max and pat him on his apparent shoulder, "Thanks for everything you've done for the orphans, sometimes I get overwhelmed making the food and taking care of them all the time, so thank you. Hopefully, you get better or we all specialize in medical just to make you better."

Sora resisted the urge to hug the boy, "Thank you, guys, I'll see you later."

Max would graciously accept the praise of Sora. In fact, he was actually disappointed. His time stuck in the hospital had made him rusty, and he should have put up a better showing. He would no doubt hear about this from Napa for many days. Still, he could see where he needed to improve in order to grow stronger.
 
“Thanks, you guys both did pretty well yourselves. Well, I’m going to go ahead and head back in and eat some more of that fruit Senshi had brought me in. I’m sure that I’ll see you guys once I get out of here.” Max would say before rolling back towards the hospital. He would stop and listen to anything that they decided to say, but other than that he would be going inside.
 
 
A few days had passed, and the hospital finally released the young Genin. He still lacked his limbs, but he was medically cleared to leave. Max realized that he would need his limbs to be able to function like had done before. No, he would need to be greater than before. Rolling on his wheelchair all the way to his home, he would clear off his workbench and immediately start to work on his new limbs. Noticing that he had surprisingly few parts needed for this endeavor, he would roll out of his shack, only to notice a large crate with “To: Yamaguchi Maximillian” written in dark letters on the top. Max was in no shape to open it up, but maybe one of his puppets could.
 
Napa would take a kunai and pry open the crate. Inside there were a ton of sheets of metal and other various items and parts. Max’s face would light up. This must have been that delivery that Senshi had said he would bring the boy to work on his puppets. There were more than enough materials here to complete his limbs and then some likely left over to work on puppets. The boy would be ecstatic, ready to begin this timely process.
 
Several days would pass as he worked tirelessly on the limb. It would be rough, but he finally got it functioning how he had hoped. Now at this point he would have to attach the limb. He hadn’t been trained in the medical arts, but luckily for him others in the village were. He would head back over to the hospital, asking them to keep an eye on him while he performed the needed work to attach it. With the team of medical professionals, he would ready his arm while simultaneously numbing the area with anesthetic to the best of his ability. Then, he would take the sensors that he had made and connect them to the ends of where his nerves would be. Once this was done, he would use his natural abilities to control lightning chakra, to attempt to amplify the signals his brain was sending to the missing limb. After a moment, the signals reached the artificial limb and began to cause its parts to move one by one.
 

It would take quite a lot of time to get used to, but he thought that it would function fairly well for now. This was his first time creating something so humanlike without the use of… well old human parts as a starting point. This was a large step for the boy, and with this new experience under his belt he would likely begin to create even more advanced mechanical puppets.
