Senshi watched dispassionately as his student performed the technique. IT seemed he was a quick study, which was good because Senshi couldn't abide by someone who took forever to learn things as basic as this. Once Niran had jumped forwards to perform the technique, the clone allowed itself to be hit and then dispersed from the hit. Once he had completed it, Senshi was about to begin to explain the next technique when Niran had spoke. Senshi gave a polite node of acceptance to what he was saying. "It is no problem Niran, you are my student and a Genin of Kumogakure. You're becoming powerful is in everyones best interest. One day you will stand in my shoes and do the same for another." With that Senshi took a moment to go over all of his techniques before deciding on the next one to teach him. "The next technique is known as the leaf whirlwind. Watch as i demonstrate against the clone."

Senshi then turned to face his clone clone moving over to it quietly before he lashed out with a high kick. He allowed the momentum of the kick to carry him around and ducked down performing a one legged squat. His speed accelerated as he spun around sweeping the legs of the clone out from under neath it. As he stood he curb stomped the clone in the chest forcing it to dispel immediately. Forming the hand seals he summoned a new set of clones and sent one over to Niran. "Now for you to do the same, if you don't have any questions."

Niran nodded his head and watched Senshi attentively as he began to demonstrate the next technique. He kept careful watch of how he moved his body and where he applied the strength of his muscles into the technique. And where on the target he aimed the kicks for. He nodded his head in understand as the technique virtually unfolded before him. “The momentum of the first kick carries you into the second, increasing it’s power to a frightening degree to the point where it’s incredibly difficult to stop. Then you follow up the sweep by slamming them into the ground with your foot, opening them up to more dangerous attacks. He nodded his head in understand and moved to look toward the now reformed clones. He would nod his head and suddenly spring into a high kick that the clone would obviously dodge. After he had done that he would use the momentum of the powerful kick to keep the spin going, pushing his body down into a one legged squat as the original kicking leg spun around to sweep the clones legs out from under him. He’d then stomp on the clones chest, causing the clone technique to dispell into another puddle of water.

After he performed the technique he stood a moment and analyzed the move. ‘If the original high kick is blocked then the technique is cancelled out. On the other hand the extravagant motion of the sweeping kick leaves you open to too many attack. It takes too long to spin around completely when the opponent isn’t stunned in any way. And if they were the original high kick would be better to land. The knee would also be an exposed weakness when the opponent isn’t distracted, all it would take was a well placed kick and then the knee would shatter entirely, ending the fight.’ Niran thought before deciding he’d only use that particular technique as a last resort as well, too many variables against the user existed. He turned back toward Senshi and waited attentively for him the demonstrate the next technique. He had already learned a few useful techniques, and the day was just getting started.

Senshi could see that Niran wanted to move on but he gave a slight shake of his head having his clone move forwards. The other clone had been dispersed when Niran had performed the technique but the first part had been slightly wrong and he hadn't quite done it completely right. The way he had performed it would leave him completely open to several counter attacks. Thus Senshi knew he would need to explain better how the technique worked. "Almost, but not quite. Though this is a simple D rank, it doesn't have as many openings as you left. You can use it to boost your abilities in the first kick, though normally the feint is best. Try this method instead, since by usual use of it does not suit your style as well." Senshi motioned for his clone to move forwards and attack him. The clone came in making a quick high kick towards Senshi's head and then pulling back his foot and the second kick looked as though it was starting to go towards Senshi's head before changing it half way through to aim for his creators ribs instead. Once that had been complete the clone stepped back. And moved in front of Niran. "Try that version instead it may better suit you."

Niran watched as Senshi showed him an alternative method to using the technique and he nodded his head in understanding at his words. The technique did feel like it left him far too open. It was probably just him, after all the technique had been used by taijutsu practitioners for centuries so it must work for the masses. He turned toward the clone and nodded his head at him to show he was about to practice the assault. He would drop into the same stance he had been in before, textbook and well guard, but obviously that of someone with real formal taijutsu training. He would then shoot the high kick toward the clones head, but pull it back halfway through and redirect the blow toward the clones ribs, dispelling it instantly as Niran dropped back into the taijutsu stance. He stood at the ready, prepared to practice another technique, or to retry that one if Senshi deemed it necessary. He wouldn’t accept anything other than perfection after all and he felt as if the more powerful shinobi knew that. As a matter of fact, he got the impression that Senshi was the same way. Which would suit Niran just fine.

Senshi nodded as the technique was finally done correctly. It was clear that he could use a bit more practice but that would be saved for the end of this training session since he wanted Niran to be able to use the techniques effectively. Keeping that in mind he decided to continue with the training. As he spoke he performed the hand seals and summoned two more clones. "The next technique is the Leaf Gale technique. It is quite simply an enhanced kick but has several ways to perform it." Senshi motioned to the two clones who then faced each other and working together the first clone came forwards attempting to initiate a spinning low kick. The other clone jumped over it, before it attempted a simple low kick that was clearly stronger and faster than the weak capabiliteis it was holding itself to. Once it completed that the first clone dodge it and then attempted a mule kick, much like he had done to Sora in their team training session. Again the technique was dodged, but the general idea was now given. Senshi motioned to one clone and it moved to stand in front of Niran. "Now is for your attempt."

Niran didn’t feel particularly happy with the whirlwind, it felt awkward. But he also wasn’t a taijutsu practitioner so it would probably always feel that way to him in the end. He watched Kobayashi intently as he summoned a couple more clones and watched them continue to try to perform the leaf gale on one another while dodging. It didn’t look terribly complex, just a chakra empowered kick to catch an opponent off guard so that one can easily exploit the opening such a move would provide. He nodded his head in comprehension as they finished the final attempt and watched as a single clone moved to stand in front of him, waiting for him to try the technique on him. He nodded his head at the water clone and proceeded to attempt the spinning low kick he of course empowered the kick with chakra to perform the technique and the clone hopped over the kick to dodge it when they become apparent that the kick would be done correctly. Niran would also in the other ways to try to find a way that felt comfortable for him to do the technique with. Of course he should theoretically try to be comfortable performing the technique with any of the methods as it would allow him to use the technique in a broader array of situations. He would try to perform the simply low kick version next and the kick was clearly faster and stronger than it appeared. The clone would dodge one too with a simple back step and nod to him to try again. Niran would finish up by letting the low kicks momentum pull him around where he would use his hands to pop up and perform a mule kick that would send the clone flying as a concentration of water. He would then stand up and nod his head to himself quietly as he contemplated which particular version he preferred out of the three. He decided he liked the simpler low kick version. He just didn’t feel comfortable spinning around completely to kick someone when the spin itself would leave your body terribly open to attack. The mule kick version took the use of your arms from you so it also left your body open to attack as you wouldn’t be able to properly defend yourself against assault. He tried the simply low kick version on the air and liked the way it felt better overall. He’d try one thing though and dropped into his taijutsu stance. He’d hold it for a moment before using the leaf whirlwind that Senshi had just taught him, doing a high kick as a feint and changing its target. He imagined an opponent dodging it as well, using the momentum to pull him into the spinning low kick version of the leaf gale. Doing it this way, as a follow up attack after the whirlwind was dodged felt comfortable to him. He noted this and remembered it for later. He stood back up and dropped into his taijutsu stance again for a moment to calm himself. He’d then perform the leaf whirlwind once more, imagining him missing the opponent after the feint again. This time he tried to perform the mule kick by stopping his body mid spin and pushing off the ground. After that attempt he stood and replayed it in his head. He shook his head at the attempt, it didn’t feel natural. He’d have to stay vulnerable for a moment longer to attempt the mule kick and that didn’t sit well with him. He decided he liked the natural feel of combining the Leaf Whirlwind and Leaf Gale techniques. He’d then move to stand in front of Senshi, ready for the next part of their training.

Senshi gave another nod as Niran completed the next technique, they were making good progress through this basic Taijutsu training and Senshi was pleased that should the event occur Niran would be able to competently defend himself in short range and get himself away from an opponent should he need to do so. Since Niran was a Ninjutsu specialist this was important to Senshi since he wanted the boy to be able to get away should a taijutsu specialist come after him. Plus Senshi wanted him to be able to have at least a basic defence against a taijutsu user.

“The next technique is the Iron claw technique, it’s rather simple but you need a lot of strength for it.” Senshi’s clone moved over and with a sudden movement Senshi’s hand shot up gripping his clones face with one hand, his fingers pressing into the forehead and lower jaw of it. He then ripped to the side and the clones head popped off of its body sending a spray of water everywhere. Shaking his hand out he quickly resummoned another two clones. Once of which went to stand in front of Niran. “After this, there is only one more D rank technique for me to show you. From there, we’ll have a spar to test you on the techniques and to assist them in becoming muscle memory.”

Niran raised an eyebrow at the simplicity of the next technique. He briefly wondered if he could utilize the fire element and make that much more powerful. It could be useful for executions or even simply torture. He shook these morbid thoughts out of his head however and turn to look at the clone. He could tell the trick with the locking of the knuckles was in the chakra running through them to fortify them and make them sturdier. It would result in an iron like hold, or due to the shape of the hand, a claw if you will. He moved to stand in front of the clone and nodded his head at the water made construct for it’s sacrifice would not be in vain. It would die in return for him obtaining more power, a worthy goal indeed. He would look at his hand and practice the claw motion for a few minutes, getting the feel of running his chakra through his hand and reinforcing the knuckles in the fingers enough to withstand the applied strength.

Niran would then look up at the clone and, in one fast motion, shoot his arm up and grab onto the clones face, making sure to hold onto the lower jaw and forehead as he had seen Senshi do. He would then rip the clones head off with a sudden jerking movement, spraying water everywhere. He’d also shake his hand out to dry it a bit before turning to Senshi for the last D rank he would be learning from him today. He would slowly go over the list in his head ‘Inside to Outside Block, Chain Fist, Leaf Gale, Leaf Whirlwind, Dynamic Entry, Iron Claw, my own personal technique, and finally this next one. I’ve learned quite a bit today, and soon we’ll see if I was able to commit it to memory as well as I’d hoped I would.’ He thought as he waited for the new technique to be shown and explained.

Senshi gave a quiet nod of approval as Niran managed to rip the clones head off and then when he turned to him for the final technique, Senshi had already formed the hand seals and created the final two more clones that he would need for this. He blinked though as he realized, a clone would die before the next technique could truly show what it was meant for. With a few more hand seals he pulled a training dummy from his storage displacement technique. It appeared slowly, but before them a wooden dummy, five feet high, appeared. Next to it a set of clothing also appeared. As Senshi began speaking one of his clones stepped forwards placing clothes on the dummy.

“You have some experience with this final technique,” Senshi gave a slight smile at his words, “The Aerial Strip technique. It is the technique I used on you and Sora in our team meeting. This technique is an enhanced punch, with enough strength it will throw the user out of their armor, leaving them with no added protection.” Senshi turned to his clone, and this time he performed the technique slowly, instead of at the speed he had done so in their first meeting. His fist connected to the clone dispercing it immediately. His final clone finished dressing the dummy, lifting it up and planting it into the ground.

“In order for you to better experience the technique, you’ll attack the dummy this time since my clone would just disperce.” With that Senshi punched his clone killing it immediately and turning to watch Niran perform the technique. He quickly went over everything they had done so far, pleased at Nirans quick progress. With this he would be well prepared for the taijutsu portion of the chuunin exams. Better than he would have been without the use of all these extra techniques to assist him. Plus these techniques would be good for Niran in the upcoming war.

Niran watched Senshi summon the training dummy and a set of clothes as he explained the technique and raised an eyebrow. “You mean when you stripped me stark ass naked in the training field? Honestly Sensei, you could’ve bought me dinner first.” He’d say with a smirk before watching the exact point of impact that Senshi used on the clone. He nodded his head in understanding. The chakra in this skill was flared outward, like a funnel from the user, this caused the opponent to fly back and the chakra would move through any location it could at that point. Which commonly meant under the target clothing. Then the chakra would simply carry their clothing away into the air, since the chakra wouldn’t be strong enough to carry the clothing away, the clothes would simply fall to the ground harmlessly. The chakra would also act the catalyst for the increased speed and strength the technique would demonstrate. He nodded his head in understanding of this as he turned toward the dummy that the water clone had fully clothed. He took a deep breath to center himself before shooting his fist out in a precise, targeted manner and slammed the dummy in the chest. The wooden training dummy would shoot back and into the air, it’s clothing flipping off of it as he sped back and slammed into splinters against a snow covered stone. He nodded his head as he moved to pick up the clothing that had been on the dummy. He would return them to Senshi with an apologetic bow over the destroyed wooden dummy. It was good for little more than firewood at this point and in a place like the mountains where wood was scarce he could imagine Senshi being mildly annoyed at the fact that the thing was destroyed.
