Niran stepped onto the training field to meet Senshi for some one on one training. Sora had been her student for a bit longer so he very much needed to play catch up, but he would certainly do much more than that with this day if Senshi had the time to spare. It was snowing today in the mountains, a layer of the white fluff was on everything and more was still falling. Niran had long ago activated his Inner Flame technique to keep warm and his orange, yellow, and red eyes shifted in the changing light as he thought about what to do. He had beaten Senshi there, and that wasn’t surprising as he was always fairly early no matter where he went. He reached into his weapons pouch and produced a scroll for a new fire technique that would hopefully help him greatly in close quarters combat. The ‘Flaming Impact Fist’ would hopefully be enough to help him handle any target that got a little too close for his taste until he could get some distance to turn them into slag. He needed to learn this technique because he knew it would be useful in the future.He opened up the scroll and noted the two hand seals, that made it simple. The rest of the technique was flowing fire chakra through the muscles of his body to increase his speed and strength, then sending the chakra down to his fists where the fire chakra would wait behind his knuckles to be released when it impacts something, causing damage. The technique itself was fairly useful, as anyone on fire tended to panic and it wasn’t all that hard to land a single punch.

He rolled up the scroll and put it away before performing the two hand seals and beginning to channel fire chakra into his muscles to expand them. The process was slow going and it didn’t seem to work well as he hadn’t seen the red tinge that would appear when he had performed the technique correctly. He decided to close his eyes and focus on the chakra maneuvering around the muscle tissues. The heat from the chakra increasing the temperature to much higher degrees. He focused on the power of the fire chakra energizing the muscles, causing them to expand, work harder, faster. Slowly he felt the progress take hold and he opened his eyes to see a noticeable red shading to his muscles, He focus the fire chakra down his arms, moving it through the muscle groups until it took hold directly behind the knuckles on his fists. He then proceeded to ball up said fists and walk over to a nearby rock. He moved with intent, his arms at his sides and slowly moving toward the stone as if he were going to destroy it. Of course he had every intention of doing so. As he reached the stone he reached back, and through a bone shattering punch that destroyed a part of the stone. Fire flew from his fists and melted part of the stone, causing some of the rock to droop to the sides as the intense heat of the fire chakra struck it. The technique ended quickly after and he looked at his hands with a critical eye. No damage was observed, meaning he had successfully performed the technique. The time at the begining that was used to focus would be unusable however, and this meant that he needed to keep practicing. He would need a live combat exercise if this were to work out, meaning he needed Senshi to arrive so he could practice trying to utilize the technique on the fly while in combat. He knew he’d help him out in that regard.

Senshi arrived in the training grounds in a blur of speed, it wasn’t normal that he would be running this far behind but there had been a minor incident during his last patrol and the reports had taken forever to fill out. As it was instead of being five minutes early to the meet up with his firey student he arrived a full minute late. He was annoyed with himself for being late, expecting much better than that regardless of what may crop up. However being forced to run around completing his Jounin Exams, running missions with other teams, training his own Genin team, and the general duties of Chuunin were keeping him so busy he rarely got enough sleep now a days.

As he landed next to Niran in a blur of speed he would immediately begin speaking, “I apologize for my tardiness Niran.” He paused to assess the boy pleased that he seemed to have been training even though Senshi hadn’t been here. “I wanted this training to be solo so that I could work with you on some Taijutsu moves. I want you to be capable of defending yourself in the event you can not use chakra.” Taing a step away from Niran he pulled out a scroll from his pouch and formed the hand signs for a water clone. Unsealing the scroll at the same time, two water clones quickly appeared. “Without further delay we will begin training. My water clones will demonstrate a basic E rank taijutsu technique known as the inside outside block.” Senshi nodded to his clones who immediately demonstrated the technique several times.

“Now, one of my clones will attack you and you will get to practice.” Nodding to the left most clone it moved forwards standing in front of Niran. It would wait for the elder man to give him some indication that he was ready to begin training before moving to attack the boy at a dramatically reduced speed and strength. It would repeat the attack as many times as Niran needed.

Niran stopped analyzing his handiwork and turned to greet Senshi the moment of his arrival. He would turn toward the more experienced shinobi and incline his head in respect. “Good morning Senshi, think nothing of it. I simply used the time to practice a C rank Taijutsu technique of my own. He would then proceed to watch the water clones perform the technique that his teacher wanted him to learn a few times as a demonstration. He quickly nodded his head in understanding. The idea was the use your arm to block an unarmed shot to the upper body. The technique was built to include a counter attack if the fist was closed, allowing for the user to chain off their own devastating attacks. Or try and grab the opponent if the palm was open. This would put the user in an obvious advantage and allow them to control the battle. He turned to the clone of Senshi as it prepared to launch an attack at him so he could practice the technique and dropped down into his taijutsu stance. It wasn’t much, but it kept his guard up, utilized his strengths where they were best suited for and didn’t leave too many openings at all. He would then nod his head at the clone. Ready for the swing.

Senshi clone stood calmly its arms resting by his side as it waited for Niran to give the go ahead. Once the young man had done so the clone would bring its hands up and then take a step forwards, ensuring that it was only moving at a speed of 10 so that Niran could practice the technique and get it right. Senshi lived by the wuote of slow is smooth and smooth is fast. It brought it arm around in a jab toward the genin, not speeding up at all. He was giving Niran plenty of time to react to everything that he was doing. He would continue to throw slow jobs until Niran got the technique right and asked him to stop. The learning curve was all Niran, however long he wanted to go Senshi would comply.

Niran would watch the clone carefully as the clone swung with enough speed that he could block the blow and he did so immediately. He nodded to continue and he blocked the next strike, and the next one, and the next one. On the fifth strike he would decide to strike back as the technique required. With a closed fist he would block the blow the clone swung at him and strike back with a simple strike toward the clones chest. The blow wouldn’t have any real power behind it as they weren’t really fighting for real. The point was simply to show the he had the technique down. He’d do it once more, with the open fist, bringing his hand up quickly to grab the clone and give it a gentle push back, to break contact. He’d then bring his hand up in the universal gesture toward ‘High fi-I mean stop please’ and nod his head with confidence at Senshi. “I should be good to move on Sensei.” He’d say with a respectful nod to both Senshi and the clone.

Senshi nodded to his clone once the strikes had been completed and the clone allowed it self to be pushed back and dropping its arms to its sides. Senshi then began to speak,"Good job, the next technique is called the cabin fist. It will allow you to either lower the durability of your opponent or their speed by targeting specific points on the body." Senshi gave a nod to the two clones and they faced each other one letting its hands rest wide away from it's body and the other bringing its hands up in order to block a strike. They closed with each other and the clone with the relaxed stance made wide
Swinging arcas toward the defending clone. For the first few strikes the defending clone used the inside to outside block to divert strikes but then the attacking clone changed its wide circular strikes up to dart and push on a point on the inside of the defending clones body. From there Niran would see that the defending clone was steadily slowing down making it easier for the attacking clone to make more strikes on it. "Good enough, alright Niran your turn. My clone will serve as your dummy. Once you land a strike good enough for it to disperse you'll have it down." The clones stopped their mock fight and the attacking clone moved to stand in front of Niran its arms raised up ready to start.

Niran would watch the two clones demonstrate the technique with a critical eye and nod his head as he watched the attacking clone roll his punches into the defending clone, successfully demonstrating the skill. He would then drop into the stance he had demonstrated earlier and face the clone and an expression locked in determination. He’d begin to throw a couple of slow punches to start getting the move down before he began to speed up and then begin to practice the maneuver. His punches would begin to roll, one after another in a series of five, quick and precise strikes. At the end of the fifth strike the clone would dissolve into a large puddle of water, falling to the ground harmlessly. Niran would then turn toward Senshi and give him another respectful bow. Not a single word would be said, unless it was required. He wanted to glean every bit of knowledge he possibly could from the more experiences shinobi, and talking would take away from that. He would certainly ask a question if he had one. But otherwise he would speak only when Senshi told him to, or asked him a question. That was the way he had always respected his teachers.

Senshi watched as Niran perform the technique, he was being attentive because it was important that he deliver a good critique. Once the clone was turned into a puddle of water Senshi finally spoke. "You did well, but I suggest focusing on making your arms swing more around. It needs to be a fully circular motion." Senshi proceeded to demonstrate what he was talking about by moving his arms in the prescribed manner. Once he had done so he motioned his clone to back up a step. "All right, for the next technique it is a D rank known as Dynamic Entry. I suggest only using it either as a last resort, or when you have the element of surprise. Due to the fact that it requires you to jump in order to do it and that can be a liability in combat."

With that out of the way Senshi then turned to fully face his clone and holding back his speed and power he pushed himself off the ground with one leg, extending out the other and pretty much superman kicked his clone in the face. It immediately dispersed and he landed on the ground lightly. HIs hands flashed through hand signs and two more clones rose up from the remains of the last two. "Now I'll show you how it can be a liability." Senshi nodded to the two clones and the one that was standing next to him launched into the same kick he had just performed. However this time the defending clone moved to the side reaching out and grabbing the attacking clones ankle and turning and tossing him. The attacking clone summer saulted and landed casually in the grass. "As you can see, had the defending clone wanted to do so, it could have easily cause more damage. Now it is your turn. Feel free to choose which clone to demonstrate on."

Niran nodded his head respectfully at the information and attentively watched his sensei as he showed him the next technique. The snow had finally stopped falling but the enormous amount of the cold white substance was everywhere. It made for an interesting site to see someone so intune with fire that it affected his appearance practicing techniques in the snow. The gloomy, overcast skies would make it seem like a dreary day but Niran wasn’t paying attention to any of that. His focus was solely on Kobayashi and his clones as the chunin demonstrated the Dynamic Entry technique. He watched the way Senshi pushed off with the single leg and extended the other completely out, not quite locking the knee to avoid breaking it with the stress of impact. He watched as he raised his fists as he did so in order to be able to use them quickly should something surprising happen. He nodded his head in understanding as the clones demonstrated how it could be easily countered. When Senshi turned to him to have him demonstrate he nodded his head and turned to one of the clones. He would give it a respectful bow, he always gave respect to those with power. He would then test the weight of his body on one foot once or twice, he’d never had a real reason to jump off one leg before, so it took a moment to get the balance correct. He then turned toward the clone and nodded his head before pushing off his back leg with all of his strength and extending the forward one without locking the knee. He’d bring his hands up as well and slam his foot into the clone, dispersing it into a harmless puddle of water. Well harmless until Senshi used another water technique from it again. He’d land on his feet, turning to meet Senshi’s eyes and give him another respectful bow. “Thank you for teaching me these techniques Senshi-Sensei” He’d say with a nod of his head before standing ready to learn the next technique. His eyes reflected the light and gave him the appearance of being hungry for more power. He wanted more strength in order to show everyone that he was great. He would get through any means given to him. Senshi was the current means and that caused Niran’s respect for the man to constantly increase. The more he taught him, the more loyal to the man he would become.
