Lovely Snow in the Desert

Love was just hanging out in the village, kicking around rocks and cans. Suddenly she had a thought, that she should learn some more lightning style jutsu. She didn't have the ninjutsu specialty yet so there wasn't very many things that she could learn but beggars can't be choosers. Love went around the village to find an empty space to practice. She didn't want to accidentally hurt anyone who might be training in the training grounds. After finding a small space behind some tall buildings Love stopped her search, "This looks good." She said to herself before warming up. Hopefully it wasn't the secret spot of someone else she didn't want to have to fight over it, but she would if need be unless this was a special spot for higher ups. Love pulled back her hair in a low pony tail. She wasn't sure how long she'd be out here so she wanted to have some type of air on her neck to keep her from overheating.

After returning from her lengthy mission and filling out the endless amount of paperwork, Kira through it’d be wise (even though she didn’t want to) to do some training. After all, it had been quite some time until she had some time to herself to practice her techniques. It She had her fuuinjutsu down pack but learning a few medical techniques would go a long way since she hadn’t had much time to practice those as of yet. The Uzumaki was hoping to find more of a secluded zone to get her stuff done as A) she did not want to be bothered and B) well did she really need a second reason? With that said, there was one little spot she typically went to and that’s the place she would find herself in... with some unwanted child.

“ahem?” Kira spoke up, holding a bottle of water in one hand. Kira took in the girl’s reddish haired and briefly wondered if she was an Uzumaki. The next thing she took in was the Konoha headband that she wore. “Oh, here for the exams are you?” The heterochromatic eye’s girl asked, slightly intrigued. Maybe this would be an interesting training session after all.

Hearing a voice Love look to find it's owner. When she saw the other female with red hair and different eyes a somewhat awkward and childish smile washed over Love's face. She didn't mean to stare but Love was the most unique looking person she knew. Quickly snapping out of her daze she replied to the girl's question. "Yes I am here for the exams!" The taller girl announced proudly, but then remembered how secluded this area was. "Is this a special training spot for higher ups? If so I can leave." She asked the girl hoping that it was just a place she liked to come to be alone. Love didn't want to make any enemies in an allied village, although it could lead to good sparing if the other red head tried to oust Love. She waited for the sand ninja to respond with her arms folded across her chest.

Kira stared back at the awkward girl, casually sipping her drink from a flashy pink straw. The socially challenged girl made the Uzumaki feel a little uncomfortable for the moment before she managed to finally reply to her question. “Interesting.” The red haired beauty muttered under her breath. She quickly wondered if she was in Salzem’s group, who was one of the few people she knew was competing in the exams. The Konoha ninja’s question brought a quick spark to the Uzumaki, and an opportunity to unleash her playful tactics on her new prey; and by the sounds of it, she was a Genin. She still found it quite odd that the Kage had let Genin participate in a Jonin Exam. They must really be low on qualified ninja.

“Why yes it is.” Kira said casually, letting her eyes wander momentarily. She let a beat pass to let the girl think that she would have to leave before continuing. “But, since you’re hear on a special occasion, I’ll allow you to train here under on condition.” The Uzumaki held up one finger for complete emphasis. “You have to spar me!” She figured she’d at least have some fun with one of Konoha’s finest. After all, she must have made it to this point with good reason. Nonetheless, she’d probably take it easy on the girl. She didn’t want to rush the enjoyment she would get by showing her dominance over another woman.

The suna ninja's eyes wandering after she answered Love's question made her feel like the girl was lying. The Hyuga cocked an eyebrow when the other red head said that she would let Love stay if she met a certain requirement. Love thought for a moment. If the girl wasn't lying about this spot then it is possible that the girl standing before her was an jounin. But Love knew to trust her gut so even if she was wrong this would be a great learning experience. "Yeah sure, I'll take you up on that offer." She hadn't come here to spar but it was never a bad thing to do. She would get into her gentle fist stance and wait for the girl to react.

“Awesome” Kira replied, stretching her arms and legs briefly as she observed the girl get into a stance that she had never seen before. The Uzumaki wasn’t very familiar with whatever the stance was but it looked more unique than your typical fighting stance. The girl briefly slid her left foot back to better position herself for stability. She quickly though of a battle strategy that wouldn’t result in a quick finish. To start things off, she’d test the girls reactions. The red haired beauty stuck out her arm to face the opposing red head. A sealing formula engulfed her arm as concentrated chakra built up at her palm. four blasts of chakra were shot at the girl at a speed of thirty. two were launched directly at her while one was launched to her direct left and another to direct right.

When Love saw the marks appear on her opponents arm she activated her eyes in case she would need the extra speed should this be some type of taijutsu that made the girl's punches more powerful. But seeing the chakra build up in the other red head's palm she knew that some type of blast was going to be fired. Now faced with four balls of chakra coming at her there was only a few things she could do. If only I was strong enough to kick them back. Love thought to herself went it hit her, the jutsu that Maloren had taught her might do the trick. Just as the suna girl had done, Love raised her arm towards the blast coming at her right. Thrusting her palm forward a six inch projectile was shot from the Hyuuga's hand pushing back the other blast and also creating an opening which Love would run through. She would continue running towards her target in hopes of using one of two techniques based on the other girl's speed.

With the girl running towards her at such a speed Love knew that she would have to use eight trigrams: sixty four palms if she was going to land any attacks. But before she could touch the girl, the darker haired girl tagged Love's leg, causing a lightning shock to force the muscles in the leaf kunoichi's to cramp up and lock. Again Love was unable to counter as the girl grabbed her by the shoulder and threw her a few meters away from herself. Dropping to her knees Love slid in the dirt and then looked up excitedly at the girl, with her normal vein-less white eyes. "Whatever you did you have to teach me it!" She then tried standing but buckled when she put weight on the effected leg, so Love hopped over to the sand ninja. "I came here to train lightning jutsu, that's what you used on me right? Please teach it to me."
