Hitori pondered what the Hozuki said, staring him in the eye, but he dismissed it, slightly shaking his head. But we can tell someone. Do something. Helping Kumogakure isn’t the right thing to do. “Maybe…” he said slowly, picking himself up. Hitori brushed off his clothes and grabbed his scroll. “I’ll help the people here, Komori, but going out in the name of conquest is something else. Especially conquest for the sake of conquest.”

The Uzumaki picked up his bag and nestled the scroll inside. “Thank you for talking with me, Komori.” Hitori nodded slowly, giving a sad smirk. He turned to face Komori. “I’m going to go home, now. Thank you again, Komori. And good luck with your jutsu. I just need to go home and think.”

Komori was left sitting on the ground with a knee bent and his arm resting on it, as his other arm supporting his position by holding him off of the ground. He wore a defeated look on his face, as he knew that it would not do much good to try to say anything else about the situation at hand. Instead, he said his goodbye, before laying back on the grass, resting with his arms behind his head. He closed his eye and listened to the wind rustling and the birds chirping, thinking about how peaceful of a day it was. And how it was not going to last.
