Leaving Kumogakure
Wed Mar 15, 2017 1:22 pm
The day had been very uneventful. After his spar with Komori, Ayumu had slept for about 16 hours and woke up in the morning of the new day. When he had woken up he felt very strong, he had learnt more things with Komori than he had ever learnt in his life time. He had deconstructed his camp and left the training grounds relatively clean, aside from the few burn marks from his fire he created. As he walked around Kumogakure he had tried to spot anything to do with the symbol in his notebook, but he found nothing. He had also tried to find Komori but he couldn't find him anywhere, he was probably preoccupied with other stuff, Ayumu was only a temporary citizen of Kumo after all. He had been reading his notebook on a jutsu called "Seven Heavens Breathing Method" and he was quite enjoying it, chakra still amazed him.
The closest he had got to finding out what the symbol meant was a lookalike symbol on the back of someones shirt, but after asking the man what it meant he found it was only a symbol for a local restaurant. Upon closer inspection he had seen the differences between the symbol on the man's shirt and the symbol in his book, It was just at first glance after all. He decided it was time to leave Kumo, as much as he had enjoyed his stay here, Ayumu liked to explore. Coupled with the fact that the man he had met chilled Ayumu to the bone. He wanted to leave ASAP.
When he approached the gates he paused in fear and disgust. There were corpses, hundreds off them, scattered on pikes beyond the gates. How had he not seen these when he had first arrived in Kumo? Ayumu realised it was probably because of how tired and drained he had been feeling. Looking at the corpses once more he had to fight back the urge to gag, it looked like they were still moving, still alive. The ground they were resting on looked sort of, dangerous. He didn't want to step in it, his instincts were screaming at him to not do it.
Sitting down with his back to a tree he continued reading his book, he would probably need Komori to carry him across, it would also give him a chance to say goodbye to the friend he had made here. Of course, due to Ayumu's low attention span, he soon became completely engrossed in the book. Not paying any heed to his surroundings. The Seven Heavens breathing method was very interesting, it involved taking a huge deep breath and increasing your physical boundaries ten-fold. It might have even allowed him to go toe to toe with Komori. Though he doubted it, Komori was extremely skilled and powerful. Perhaps, when Ayumu would grow stronger and more powerful he should come back to Kumo, have a rematch against Komori. He quite liked the idea, Komori would be a marker for Ayumu's strength.

“Hey, handsome!” Komori instinctively turned around as a female kunoichi approached him. She appeared to be a genin, mostly inferred to by the smile marking her face, which can be viewed as a symbol of not taking the dreadful chuunin exams. They had probably scarred Komori more than witnessing his own mother die before him, but as he did for that situation, he did not let it show. She giggled and looked back towards what must have been her squad mates. “There’s some kid by the village gates and somebody told me that they saw you carrying him the other day.” Komori assumed she was giddy because either A, she was not taking her duties as a genin seriously enough yet or B, she was totally into him. He tended to have that effect on women. Komori thanked her and with a wink, disappeared in a blur of speed as he headed towards the gates with body flicker. Upon arrival, he would see the boy engrossed in some sort of leather bound, overstuffed book and approach him. If the boy did not notice him, Komori would use a much, much weaker version of the water gun technique to shoot an inch wide droplet of water at the boy, where he could determine where it landed based on how he was sitting. He had to decrease the power tenfold, as this jutsu had once been strong enough to pierce the lung of a hulking man spider beast thing. The second chuunin exam was a strenuous time. Should that get Ayumu’s attention, Komori would wave as he finished walking over and greet him with a friendly smile. He was probably one of the most friendly people in the seemingly death obsessed city of Kumogakure.

As Ayumu read his book he noticed his friend appear out of thin air and attempt to shoot some kind of water at Ayumu. Was this some kind of test? Due to his training he could see the pellet moving but he was not fast enough to dodge it, getting a face full of water.
He spluttered as his dripping wet hair covered his eyes and half heatedly glared at Komori though it.
"Thanks," Ayumu laughed "I would like to leave Kumo now, i love to explore and meet new people," he continued "Could you carry me across? Also, when i get stronger i would like to come back here and have a rematch!" He smiled.
If Komori accepted then Ayumu would hop on Komori's back and go wherever Komori decided to take him, presumably beyond the wilting field.
If Komori would deny it Ayumu would get a confused look on his face and start to speak "How am i supposed to get across then?"

Komori chuckled at the boy’s blatant stating of the obvious. “Sure.” Then, upon hearing of Ayumu’s desire for a rematch, the Hozuki would agree to whet the boy’s sense of challenge, “Whenever you stop by Kumogakure again, just let me know. Or some other chuunin or jounin, as they will most likely know where to find me. One last lesson before you go.” Komori took the boy onto his back, who would probably be confused before carrying him only to the halfway point. He would drop the boy, hopefully allowing him to land on his feet. “You’re going to need to move pretty quickly out there, and you won’t have a big, strong chuunin like me with you all the time. Hold up the ram seal and try concentrating your chakra into your legs to use the body flicker technique. Like this.” Komori would then demonstrate his own insanely quick speed of 225 as he disappeared in a blur of speed, only to reappear at the desired location of the boy. He would wave and yell at him through cupped hands, “Now you try it, Ayumu!” He would then lower his hands and cross his arms as he would wait to see the boy’s attempt. Should he fail, Komori would body flicker back and help him back up, only to reinstate his instructions.

Ayumu was confused when he was dropped off, but his confusion turned to excitement when he learned that he was going to be taught a new technique. He listened attentively to Komori's instructions and nodded when he thought he understood them.
Excitedly he put his hands together into the Ram seal and pushed his chakra to his legs, causing something that he didn't want to happen. Ayumu was shot backwards at a diagonal angle before landing with a clumsy roll. He looked at Komori and chuckled nervously.
"Let's me try that again!" He laughed. he walked back to where he was originally and put his hands together into the ram seal again, slowly pushing his chakra towards his legs again, he felt the familiar sensation that he had felt last time but this time he used the sensation to push forwards, instead of into the air.
In a blur of movement Ayumu was suddenly next to Komori, he blinked and looked around, smile growing on his face.
"I did it!" He laughed, he turned and looked at Komori "Thank you for everything! See you around!" As he said this he started to jog away from Kumo, not knowing where he would end up.

After Ayumu had successfully learned the technique, Komori watched his wandering, hyperactive friend journey into the countryside alone. He could not help but feel some remorse for Ayumu. It must be mind numbingly lonely to be without a village. Without a family. Without a home. The thought of being alone in the wilderness did not sit well with Komori. However, the chuunin knew that anything he would say would have no effect on him. Instead he simply watched as the boy left the village, before turning back to join his own.
