Kill if need be? So, that means no. Kirino would listen to the answer and just decide killing probably wasn't the best option for this mission. Sometimes, you had to be merciful and these genin had balls if nothing else. Certainly, not brains anyway. Just to up and leave killing a guy in the process. It was worth a head shake or two, but it wasn't for things most people would assume like how these genin ran off or killed someone. Just that they had been dumb enough to do it.


That was rare someone looking forward to working with her. Eh, he doesn’t know me yet, I give it a day or two. ”So, is this your first mission? Feel free to ask me any questions if you want.” If the conversation continued, Kirino would keep pace with the Senju. ”Kisuke.” Hmm, I don’t really know what to talk to him about. ”What do you like to eat?” Yeah, that’s all I got. Teamwork was never the girls strong suit, so that’s all she could come up with now. Maybe later she could learn his favorite color, along with Sento’s and Ayumi’s because that stuff is important.[color]



Kirino would follow along with Ayumi to the borders. ”So, they are in a cave around here somewhere?” The girl would ask to herself as she looked around. There were a few caves in the area from what she remembered of journey to the leaf village. Many not very big, so it was unlikely the genin would be in them. I wonder if anyone can track amongst us.

As usual, the simplest of tasks appeared to drain Ayumi sensei of all her energy and willpower as she thought of an answer to his question. Boy did she act like an old woman for someone her age. Maybe she was an old women trapped in a much younger more beautiful body, her mind having already lived 100+ years, now methodically going through the movements of her new life. "Of course fucking not." Kisuke thought to himself, shaking the idea from his head. He was itching for a smoke but didnt want to pull one out for he knew Ayumi, understandably did not enjoy the fragrance of second hand smoke. Perhaps it was the nerves giving him such crazy thoughts as they trudged through the thick canopy of Konoha's neighbouring forest. "Kill if need be hun." Kisuke shrugged his shoulders and responded "Probably wont have to."

Calmly walking alongside Ayumi, Kisuke would contort his face into an expression that said "What the fuck do you want" when Kirino called his name from behind. Knowing she could not possible see his facial response unless she had an active Byakugan, the Uchiha simply answered "What?" followed by a sigh. "God you're annoying." He thought to himself before answering in a unenthusiastic tone "I unno, I guess sushi is pretty good." Kisuke's boredom made him realise that perhaps Ayumi was so unenthusiastic all the time cause she had to baby sit Genin students. For a moment Kisuke was able to sympathise for her, he would go mad if he had to take care of 3 Kirino's or 3 Kotsuzui's. Kisuke would not pose a question of his own, if Kirino wanted to continue the conversation it was up to her. 

Fumbling around with the contents of his pockets he would say "There could be a ton of caves here." Knowing that Ayumi would be able to sense the Genin, Kisuke decided to offer her some help as he activated his Sharingan. The iris of his eyes would morph into crimson red, circled by 3 black tomoe. Swiftly glancing in every direction to see if he spotted any chakra signatures, Kisuke would move away from the rest of his group while remaining within eye sight. Patrolling the forest on his own Kisuke would come before a cave at the base of a tiny waterfall that fell to a thin streak trickling deeper into the forest. Standing in the ankle high water he spotted dim blobs of chakra at the far end of the cave, 3 specifically. Turning towards the direction in which his team was located, Kisuke would signal them towards his location by clapping his hands together. 

Turning back towards the cave entrance with his still activated Sharingan, Kisuke would place his right foot onto a bolder just before him. Resting both his elbows on his now waist high knee, Kisuke would shout out "Get out of the cave with your hands above your heads cocksuckers! Were here to take you back to Konoha to answer for your crimes. Come without resistance and I promise not to hurt you! Too much." Kisuke uttered those two last words under his breath so no one would have probably herd him but he would be glad to give these three an ass kicking. Kisuke was also not about to enter the cave for it would limit the space he and his team had to fight so he was going to draw them out instead.

As the group enter the forest, the kunoichi was silent as her teammates tried to fill the void surrounding them with small conservations. Cute. Ayumi wasn't one of many words so she'd much rather stay silent than engage in conversations with the others. Two seconds into the conversation between Kirino and Kisuke, the jounin would tune out and pay attention to her surroundings.

Deep into the forest, the young girl came to a halt. Turning around to face Kisuke who was shouting, the female raised her left eyebrow as she craned her neck towards the direction he was looking at. What met her eyes was a cave. Supposedly the genin were in there. Staring at the cave, the young female was unable to detect any chakra signatures originating from inside the cave. She assumed that this may have been due to the fact that all three of them had low chakra reserves. Looking at Kisuke's fancy red eyes aka his pair of sharingan, the kunoichi shrugged her shoulders before nearing the cave.

It was smart of him to activate his fancy red eyes; after all, those eyes of his has helped in the past—something which was greatly appreciated. Once she was a meter away from the opening of the cave, Ayumi firmly planted her feet as she await for the appearance of the three genin.


As a droplet of water dripped from the celling and hit the floor, a whimper resonated through the cavern. What followed suit was an order to stay quiet. The three genin huddled together as the smallest of the three, known as Eiji, gripped the bandage that was wrapped around his left shoulder, an injury that he sustained as the trio escaped the village.

The wet cave was somewhat chilly, contrary to the humid air outside of it. A shiver travelled down the spine of the only girl out of the three. In an attempt to warm herself up, Yuna pressed her body against her injured teammate, which caused Eiji to wince as the pain shot up his shoulder. An exchange of apology and the situation was quiet, though not for long.

The trio nearly jumped out of their skin as a voice bellowed from the aperture of the cave, commanding them to exit the cave. Apparently whoever was outside were going to take them back to Konoha. Pale as paper, the oldest of the three, Haruo, looked into the eyes of his teammates.

"Stay in here, don't move," he ordered his teammates as he sat down on the floor of the cavern.

As the group of gennin walked through the forestry the team would pay little attention to Sento, which didn’t really bug him. Their mind’s where obviously prioritizing the mission and that was no doubt a good thing, the silence was a bit awkward but it was eventually broken by Kirino who had presented him a question. “So this is your first mission? Feel free to ask me any questions if you want” The question was half right, Sento had been on a couple missions, but none of them had involved combat of any sort. “Kind of, it’s my first combat mission. I’ve done a couple guard duty shifts with a ninja named Ashi, and do menial tasks for the village from time to time” The offer to help him with questions he may have was appreciated and he’d give a slight nod to indicate he’d ask them if he thought of any.

With their conversation ended Kirino’s attention would seem to shift to Kisuke, and they’d go about their conversation. Not particularly interested Sento would devote his attention back towards the side of the road, watching for any signs of a threat as the group carried on. But his attention was brought back to the group when Kisuke seemed to have found the runaways. As was made apparent by his sudden yelling.

Wanting to be ready for anything that may be about to happen sento would begin to send chakra to his hand as he turned the rest of his body towards the direction Kisuke seemed to be focusing on. He wouldn’t form any jutsu at the moment, but he’d be able to create a rasengan at a moment's notice as his attention centered around the potential conflict.

Still leaning on his elevated knee, the young Uchiha would continue to gaze into the cave, watching the three little bundles of chakra huddled around each other. By the time his team had reached him the chakra signatures had still not moved from their positions nor had they answered him verbally. Sucking his teeth in annoyance, Kisuke waited for just a bit longer to see if anything would happen. His crimson red eyes peering through the darkness of the cave, watching the three Genin refuse to move only further infuriated him. "Alright, times up." Moving towards the cave's entrance, Kisuke would slap his hands together into a tiger seal. As he walked closer and closer towards the entrance of the cave, now almost standing in front of it, Kisuke poured a large amount of chakra into the surrouding area of the three criminal Genin. Once enough chakra had been administered the Genjutsu would take effect. 

White feathers starting from the ceiling of the damp cave would form and began their gentle, swaying descent towards the cold floor of the cave. An army of these heavenly feathers would fall upon the three children and once their gaze made contact with one of the many glowing feathers the irresistible urge to take a nap would take over them. Their eyes would grow heavy and their yawns could be herd from outside the cave as sleep took hold of them. If successful Kisuke would watch the three children fall into a deep slumber and lay down on the wet rock that was the caves floor. Turning towards his team he would say "Now lets get these rats back to the village."

First combat mission, huh? Ayumi thought to herself as she overheard the words of the new Genin who got assigned to her team. Judging by his facial expressions, he didn’t seem particularly nervous for someone who was supposedly new to these type of missions. Blocking out the rest of the conversation, the kunoichi focused on her surroundings as she strolled through the forest until the team stumbled upon a cave where the runaway genin were huddled amongst themselves. 

Raising an eyebrow as Kisuke shouted at the children in the cave, Ayumi turned to face the aperture of said cavern. She couldn’t be bothered to do the talking and thus was appreciative of the fact that he had decided to be the authoritative one out of the group. Taking a step closer, she cocked her head to the right and continued to stare at the cave. Should the little kiddies decide to step put of the cave, she might as well stand right in front of it. In that position, she was ready to catch any of them should they attempt to escape. Cocking her head to the right, the kunoichi watched as Kisuke stepped closer towards the opening the cave. What followed suit was a handseal and silence. She assumed that he had casted some form of genjutsu to trap the trio. The area of genjutsu not being her forte, she wasn’t sure of the exact technique the Uchiha had decided to cast. Either way, it was a smart move to cast some kind of genjutsu on the runaway genin; that way, they wouldn’t have to deal with three kids who would probably try and struggle their way out of the situation. She pursed her lips, waiting for the full effect of the technique to take place.

It wasn’t long until the Uchiha turned to look at the rest of team, “Now lets get these rats back to the village.”

Shrugging her shoulders, Ayumi made her way towards the opening of the cave and entered it. Letting her eyes adjust to darkness, she pointedly stared at the corpse of the three children, all motionless on the floor of the cave. Nearing one of them, she poked the boy before moving his head to get a closer look at his face. He seemed to be fast asleep just like his teammates. Lifting the boy up, she signaled her teammates to deal with the other two. 

“I’m assuming this jutsu won’t last long enough until we reach the village, so…” she trailed off before pointing to a spot at the side of the neck of the boy, “When they snap out of this jutsu, just hit them as hard as you can, right here… and that should knock them out.” It was a trick she has utilized numerous times, so much that certain others were probably fed up with hearing the same thing said over and over again; well, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? And as such, the team head back to the village with the runaway Genin amongst them.


Ditch. Ditch them. Ditch them now, whispered Yuna’s little imaginary devil which sat on her shoulder. Shivering from the cold and fear, the girl clenched her fists as she faced Eiji, who was staring at the floor of the cave, his face petrified as numerous thoughts ran past his mind. Tearing her eyes away from the boy, Yuna glanced towards Haruo who was frozen in his spot, his face panic-stricken. 

Taking a deep breath, the girl tried to calm herself down. Breath in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. Admittedly, the whole breathing in and breathing out thing didn’t work. As she was panicking, the girl caught sight of a feather floating in space. Looking around, the cave was filled with shimmery feathers, which rained upon the trio. What is going on? she though to herself as she turned to face her comrades, who then had fallen asleep. Opening her mouth, the sudden wave of drowsiness hit before the girl succumbed to the floor, dead asleep after being unable to fight it off.

It wasn’t long before they were picked up by a group of strangers, those sent out by the village to capture the band of Genin.

While sento stood their with his fist clenched he observed the team he was now a part of react so calmly to the situation. No doubt a trait that came with the experience their team had gone through, kisuke was notably the first one to jump into action, a fitting situation considering his eyes had been the ones to spot the runaways. The uchiha boy would make his way to the front of the cave before Sento was able to observe him activating some kind of genjutsu by the looks of it, not that he could see it of course, he only made this observation because after the handseals were formed it was swiftly followed by three soft thumps ringing from the cave entrance, as if the enemy shinobi had simply decided to go to sleep.

As this happened sentos clenched fist would release itself into an open palm, and he’d look at the soft untattered skin that covered it. “I’ve got a lot of work to do if I want to catch up to these guys” he’d think to himself before making his way into the dark cave with the rest of the team. Inside they would find the slumbering group of criminals resting on the floor, and Sento let out a small laugh at the situation. “That’s a pretty useful technique Kisuke” He’d say nudging the nearest sleeper with his left foot.

As Ayumi picked up one of the gennin she motioned to the rest of the team to pick one up as well, seeing how their were only two left and three gennin for the job and that sento himself hadn’t done a thing to help with the mission so far he immediately made sure to pick one up and sling them over his back, leaving only one unconscious enemy for kirino and kisuke to deal with, and followed his new sensei back to the village gates.

From the entrance of the cave he watched with his active dojutsu as the glowing blue feathers drifted towards the ground. One by one the Genin caught sight of the feathers and dozed off, their upper bodies relaxing as they positioned themselves into an as comfortable sleeping position, letting the drowsiness take over them. He could see the three little blobs of chakra that were the Genin's dozing off and simply stood there watching and waiting, putting his hands back into the pockets of his leather jacket. 

Glancing over towards Ayumi as she stepped into the cave, Kisuke would deactivate his Sharingan. His eyes now morphing back to their usual state, the Uchiha also stepped into the cave, following his sensei. She was right in assuming Temple of Nirvana would not last the entirety of their trip back to the village. Despite being an A rank Genjutsu, Konoha was quite a ways off from here. Simply nodding as Ayumi instructed them on what to do if the runts wake up, Kisuke would kneel down and throw the remaining Genin over his left shoulder, the upper body hanging down in front of him to easily administer the knockout blow if required. "It has its uses." Replied the Uchiha to the Senju in comment to his Genjutsu. It was a pretty powerful Genjutsu however it had a short range and therefore like now Kisuke had to get fairly close to his targets. This time it did not matter for the Genin were scared and weak but he may not be so lucky all the time.
