Spooky Spoopy Sus [P]

Watching the Genin do as she instructed him, Ayumi crept up the stairs and walk towards him. 

“Ok… what now?” the boy asked.

Squatting beside the body, she poked it before scanning the room, which was relatively empty other than one corner filled with random things. Looking at Sento, she shrugged her shoulders in response to his question. It was getting late and her head was slowly getting fuzzy. A split second would pass before she opened her mouth, “If we don’t find anyone else here, then we will just take him to the authorities and let them deal with him,” Followed by short lived silence, Ayumi's head cocked towards the boy, “We’ll do one final patrol, send him off, and then you can go home. Sounds alright? Or do you want to go home early?” The kunoichi ended it with a question directed towards him. She would have been fine with whatever answer he had.

Whilst waiting for his answer, she looked towards the far right corner of the room. There was a big table, with two chairs. Draped over one of the chairs seemed to be a couple of black cloaks; it was hard to see how many in the dimply lit room, but she was sure that there were three or four sitting on the chair. In addition to these cloaks, what seemed to be two weapon pouches could be seen sitting on a table placed in the far right corner of the room. The table itself was littered with packages of food, a supply which could last up to two months if rationed properly. Judging from the things in the room, could this person be a wanderer taking refuge in the house? Standing up, the kunoichi walked towards the corner, examining the cloaks. They didn’t seem particularly special other than your everyday ones that can be bought anywhere. Checking the weapon pouches, the girl slid her fingers in one of them to check the contents. Right about the same time, the side of her eye caught sight of a figure appearing in the doorway. A split second after its appearance, a kunai which was directed towards her temple came into play. Swiftly moving her head out of the way, the kunai stuck into the wall beside her. Blinking at the newcomer, Ayumi eyed the man who took a step into the room and stood defensively, seemingly ready to fight. As her fingers left the weapon pouch that she was inspecting, she turned to face the man. Bulky and tall with shaggy white hair which covered half of his face, he reminded her of a yeti.

Cocking her head to the right, she raised an eyebrow towards the man. Judging from his body language, he didn’t seem like one to talk, so knocking him out seemed like a better idea. Ayumi broke into a dash a split second later, running towards the man with the intention to knock him out. Flinching at her action, the man stepped out the room and ran in response which then caused the kunochi to speed up towards him. It was better to get him then rather than chase him around the house. Catching up to the man, the kunoichi struck the base of his neck to constrict his breathing before hitting the side of his neck to knock him out. What followed suit was a heavy thud as his body hit the floor. Crouching down, she nudged his body with her hand before making her way towards Sento.

“Let’s go,” the girl uttered before walking away. Leaving the two men behind probably wasn't a good idea, but she didn't want to drag their bodies whilst patrolling the area one last time, so the next best choice was to leave them behind.
