Sunday Morning Rain is Falling
Fri Apr 07, 2017 10:27 am
Han wakes up bright and early today, eager to learn something new. He feels accomplished and proud of himself as he brought in a man into the station just yesterday. With everyone in Suna or the Sand Village for the Jounin Exams, he's happy to know that he can still help out around here. He can still feel the rush of capturing the man but he feels a bit bad, the man was practically about to piss himself and fear and he probably wasn't going to do much besides maybe, scratching the carriage or at most, the surface of the feudal lord's skin. The man was falling over his own two feet just thinking about killing the feudal lord but duty was duty, and Han wasn't going to disobey protocol. Sento reminded him of that after Han was considering mercy for the pitiful man, after all, no crime was truly done but that is to be decided by the people at the station. Han rubs his eyes and decides that it is still too early for these thoughts. He stands up and stretches as he slowly removes his pajamas to enter his shower. Like always, he bathes in cold water, letting it wash over his body and he feels every droplet reach his body. He finishes a long, relaxing shower under cold waters. He steps out and puts on all his regular ninja gear. He puts on his clothes and grabs all his weapons and items as he heads down for breakfast. This time he notices that his father isn't making breakfast and checks the time. 'Oh. Well, that explains it.' Han thinks to himself as he looks at his clock which says that it is five thirty in the morning. He never made breakfast for his father before so he decides to try it. He tries his best but he ends up making slightly burnt pancakes. Not bad for his first try he thinks to himself. He eats around five pancakes as he fills up his stomach. He leaves a note on the table stating that he will be out training for a while and he will be back as soon as he can. Han walks out of his home as he walks down the long dirt roads of the Hidden Leaf Village as he heads in the direction of the Leaf Ninja Academy. He once again reaches the Academy that he went to not too long ago and smiles. He enters the library and greets the librarian as he goes to the technique aisles. He brings out multiple books on ninjutsu and he has trouble deciding which one he would like. He ponders over multiple techniques that would be useful to him as he starts to think of something he might need. He starts to think about the mission he had with Sento yesterday and how much ground was covered by Sento and his wooden clones. He thinks that he won't always be able to have allies to help him so he looks for something to help him sense things. He reads over the possible techniques he could learn that could help him solve this problem. He finds one that catches his eye and sees the water natured technique that he finds a strange interest in. He finds the Rain Tiger at Will technique. The prospect of being able to sense everything in an area that large intrigues him and he smiles at the thought of how useful this would be. He grabs the scroll that has the technique written on it as he walks up to the librarian in a hurry so he can learn this technique. "I would like to borrow this scroll please, I should be able to finish later today." Han says to the librarian with a smile on his face. "Ah, the Rain Tiger at Will technique huh? That's a really useful one. I would recommend that you learn the Hiding in the Rain technique as well. They make a really powerful combination. Let me just look at where that technique is." The librarian says as he walks over to the aisle of techniques and grabs a scroll. He walks back over to the counter and hands Han the scroll for the Hiding in the Rain technique. Han reads it over and smiles as he sees the usefulness of both techniques in unison. "Thanks! This is really useful!" Han says in gratitude. " No problem. Come back anytime and don't forget to return those scrolls, alright. Go along now, I know you are raring to go learn those techniques." The librarian says and he is right. The very second Han receives these scrolls, he puts them in his pockets. He waves goodbye once more as he runs out at full speed towards the training grounds. He feels the strong wind and breeze as he rushes past the tall and grand yet simple buildings in the village. He feels the heat and the warmth of the sun beating down on him and he sees the bright light of the morning sun as it covers everything Han can see. He feels the dirt under his feet as he pushes down on a patch of it with every step he takes. He hears the sounds of the people around him as they go about their day, working and socializing. Han finally reaches the training grounds and he starts stretching and doing the regular training routine he always does to prepare for all he is about to learn. He runs around his self made circuit around the training grounds. He feels relaxed and calm as he zips past the trees in the forest as he has been through this circuit so many times. He tries to change as he uses the longest, most tiring and dangerous path he can possibly do. He pushes off of a branch in the forest and jumps onto the side of the cliff. He starts running up the side of the cliff and he turns left into a waterfall. He jumps into the center of the rushing waters of the waterfall and jumps inside of a cave behind the waterfall. The cave is pitch black and full of sharp and jagged stones but Han doesn't stop running. Han jumps from side to side as he uses his tanto to cut through all the stones he can on the way. Han breaks a few rocks here and there and his skin is scratched by flying rock fragments or some rocks that he missed as it is pitch black. Han sees the light at the end of the tunnel as he sees the other end of the cave. He rushes towards it, still at full speed as he never stopped running. He jumps out of the cave to find that there is no ground at the other end and he starts to fall towards the hard dirt below him. He plummets down closer and closer to the ground as he quickly uses the body flicker technique to reappear safe on the ground, still running. He needs to go faster, he needs to be faster. He uses the Flicker Movement technique and a trail of after images start following him as he rushes past the dirt and grass of the plains. He runs towards the rushing waters of the river faster than he ever did before. His foot touches the side of the river and instantly uses the Tree Climbing/ Surface Walking Technique to continue running. He reaches the middle of the river as he takes a sharp turn left towards the waterfall once again. He rushes towards the waterfall leaving large splashes and distortions in the water behind him, still leaving behind after images of himself that create ripples in the water. He reaches the edge of the waterfall as he starts to scale up the rushing waters that push against him. He feels the gushing force and pressure of the waterfall pushing down on his body. He gathers himself as he pushes through the force and makes it to the top of the waterfall. When he makes it to the top he gathers more chakra into his feet and push off of the waterfall, breaking the flow of the waterfall for about ten seconds. Han launched himself forward, leaving behind a line of after images that stay in the sky as his body propels forward at high speeds, seemingly cutting through the air itself using his body as a blade. He plummets towards the ground again as he dives towards it like a bullet. 'This is stupid. I know I'm gonna regret this.' He says as he puts his hands out and stretches his arms at the ever approaching ground which could seriously injure him. He charges his chakra quickly as he releases it in the form of a dome of ice to cushion his fall. The ice holds together enough to get him to the ground before it shatters completely. Han starts to pant and sigh heavily as he has a great work out.
He feels his sweat dripping down his face and his pale skin as he ruffles his light blue hair and stretches his body. His light blue eyes start to focus on the location of the wooden training dummies are as he hears the sound of wood clashing on wood. Han wonders if this is Sento practicing his wood techniques and he runs over to check it out.
Han finds a different boy, one who he saw in the Ninja Academy a few times. This boy was in the same class as him and his name was Katto or something similar. Han walks up to Katto and notices that he is blind folded at the moment and wearing a loose blue kimono. Han also notices that Katto graduated and became a Gennin as well, and he can't help but feel happy for the guy as he was never really good at chakra control or ninjutsu and the test was probably pretty difficult for him. He then notices his blade, a wooden katana that was often used for the martial art of kendo that he had read about somewhere before. He watches as Katto brings his blade up and leaves no openings in his stance, at least none that Han can see. Katto then brings the wooden katana down onto the dummy, hitting multiple points that could cause real damage to an opponent at speeds where he can barely follow each strike. He watches as each time the wooden katana hits the wooden dummy a deep mark is left where he hit it. About two or three seconds pass when Katto finishes and takes in a deep breath. He brings up the wooden katana once more as Han thinks he will strike the wooden dummy again and he watches carefully. Han then notices that the wooden katana was sheathed again and he looks confused. He then turns back to the wooden dummy as he sees that it has been cut in half. Han looks in bewilderment at the incredible skill this ninja has shown. "So, are you gonna introduce yourself or will you just keep staring at me?" Katto asks. Han blushes a little in embarrassment as he quickly make sup for his mistake. "Oh! I'm sorry. My name is Han, we were classmates for a while in the Academy. How'd you do that though?" Han asks curiously. Katto shrugs and takes off his blind fold as he wraps it around his arm. "I just trained hard every day and I managed to do it. I'm much stronger and faster than most but I know I can still break my limit. I don't have the same chakra control most of you guys have so I focused on Taijutsu and Weaponry techniques. Now, I'm in league with the rest of you guys. Hmm, how about a quick spar? Don't limit yourself just no killing techniques. I'm a bit excited to be sparring with one of my previous class mates." Katto says intensely. Han is taken aback by the sudden shift in Katto's tone as he suddenly became aggressive but Han is ready. Han quickly uses the Flicker Movement Technique as the boost helps him react to Katto better. Katto starts to run towards Han at insane speeds as he suddenly vanishes and Han notices him right above his body, holding his wooden katana high as he is about to strike. Han body flickers away just in time as he reappears arm's distance away from Katto. He reaches out and touches Katto for a split second using the Chakra Absorption technique to take away some of his stamina. As they are up close and personal now, Katto drops the wooden katana on the ground as he starts to unleash a flurry of Taijutsu punches and kicks that strike Han at incredible speed. Each hit on Han's body causes him to bruise and in some cases bleed. Han quickly notices a small gap between his attacks and he uses the Inside to Outside Block with an Open Hand to catch the arm of Katto as he uses the Chakra Absorption technique again then uses the Wind Release:Wind Strike to punch Katto right in the Solar Plexus, knocking the wind out of him and he gets sent flying backwards. He then uses the Clone Jutsu to create two perfect clones of himself as the run in three different directions, up three different trees using the Tree Climbing/ Surface Walking Technique. As soon as he reaches the top of the tree, Han uses the Wind Release:Wind Arrow and creates five arrows which he launches straight at Katto. Katto easily dodges them as he locates the origin of the attack and body flickers straight to the top of the tree as he goes for a left hook with so much speed and power that it seems to push through the wind and it connects before Han's body is replaced by a log. The real Han was on the ground, waiting and ready. He uses the Tiger hand seal and places both of his palms on the ground as water encapsulates Han's body and forms a shield for him made out of the Ice Prison. Han waits carefully as Katto reappears above him again, just as he had hoped. Katto uses his force to try to break the ice but it liquefies and Han jumps back letting the water surround him as Katto gets trapped inside Han's Ice Prison Jutsu. Katto seems completely still and inside the Ice Prison when Han starts to walk closer and manages to touch his arm to absorb a little more chakra before he notices something. His Ice Prison was cracking as Katto struggles to be free and his sheer force of will broke the ice and Han jumps back. They both pant as they seem to be spent. Katto suddenly stands up straight and lifts a hand towards Han as he says that they had a draw. Han had been cut and bruised and Katto had the energy inside him taken away bit by bit. Han starts to use the Basic Medical Ninjutsu on both of them so they return back to their normal states. Han thanks Katto and they go to head their separate ways as Han still has to learn the technique. Before he completely leaves, Han goes up to Katto and says one more thing. "Katto, you should go check on Ryu some time. He works at Ichiraku's place now. We can stop by later to catch up on life so far. I know it hasn't been to long since the Academy but a lot can happen in this short of a time." Han says. Katto smiles and shakes Han's hand. "No problem man. I'm up to it, catching up with you guys is fun."
Han walks back to the river slowly, his body still aching from the fight with Katto. He needs to learn how to fight better. Well, Han decides that he would save that for another time, plus he hadn't used his stronger jutsu as they were dangerous and could destroy the surroundings. Han opens his scroll on the Rain Tiger at Will technique and starts to analyze and read its content. "The user after the seals are formed causes the sky to darken, rain to fall from the sky infused with the users chakra, this allowing the user to flood the field to aid in suiton. The Rain is also linked with the users senses, allowing them to extend their reaction time to each raindrop to detect everything around them. Due to the users chakra being in the rain, others cannot use Suiton from their rain. This jutsu stretches up to a one mile range for the rain." Han reads aloud as he thinks about this jutsu. He figures that this jutsu is used, not only in combat, but in surveillance missions as well, or locating missions, or a variety of other things that may need sensing. Either way, this jutsu was useful and Han wants to learn it. "Ok, let's do this!" Han says as he starts to concentrate. He charges up the chakra inside his body and using his intense focus he performs the necessary hand seals and releases his chakra into the moisture in the air. He feels his chakra coming together in the moisture in the air as it forms together, getting heavier and heavier, creating wisps of clouds mad of his own chakra before it darkens. The clouds merge together in a one mile radius as they turn into one large cloud, this cloud was dark, almost black, and Han could feel his chakra become thicker and heavier in the sky as he feels the moisture start to drip out of the cloud and a tiny sliver of his chakra falls out of the cloud in the drop of water. The droplet of water hits the main road of the Hidden Leaf Village, right about where the parade was, and Han suddenly feels a rush as he can feel the main road and the buildings in its vicinity before it goes away as suddenly as it arrived. "Woah. That was weird." He says as he begins to notice the cloud building up more and more moisture as it begins to drizzle down on the Hidden Leaf Village. The rush starts again and gets stronger as time passes, stronger with the rain as the light drizzle turns into a heavy flow of rain that seems unending. Han feels a strange rush and almost a feeling of omnipresence as to him, it seems that he can see all the events happening at once in the Leaf. His mind and his senses are jumbled up as all these pieces and fragments of information come flooding in, taking control of his mind as he falls to the ground in intense pain. His eyes cannot comprehend what is happening as images appear in front of him, shops, buildings, people, animals, everything. Han decides to close his eyes and focus on a particular person, his father. His mind clears up as he can see his father, or rather he can sense his father. It is about ten in the morning and his father is heading out of our house for work, bringing an umbrella and a coat as it is raining heavily. Han smiles then realizes that he is standing soaked in the rain. He checks around for any nearby cover with his rain and stands under a tall and old, dark oak tree. He clears his mind once more as he focuses on his first friend, Ryu. Like his father, Ryu was on his way to work at Ichiraku Ramen's. Ryu however, was not prepared for the rain and he was still wearing the Ichiraku Ramen uniform, an open gi and a hair net. Ryu rushes under the shade of the restaurant as he dries himself off and Han feels a bit sorry. He watches Ryu and looks at his skill in cooking as he prepares a meal in the kitchen. He quickly grabs the dough and kneads it back and forth quickly. The dough softens and stretches as it becomes thinner and thinner and resembles noodles more and more with each push and knead. Han watches as he charges the chakra in his hands and cuts the dough into fine, thin noodles with the perfect texture. He then places the noodles into a pot of water and closes the lid as he puts his hand in the tiger hand seal on his mouth and blows out a small stream of fire towards the pot, cooking the noodles to a soft texture. He then does the same with the broth in the pot next to the freshly made noodles. He combines the noodles and the soup to make the Hidden Leaf Village and possibly world renowned Ichiraku style Ramen. He then proceeds to grab a salmon and cuts it with his chakra again, making his personal style of Sashimi which has been becoming a bit famous here in the Leaf and is Han's personal favorite as well. Han smiles and he shakes his head as he returns to the present time and place he is supposed to be in. He rubs his hand through his hair and ruffles it to get the water droplets out and he dries the rest of his clothes as well. He then starts to think about Sento, the genin he met yesterday and the same one he did the guarding the parade mission. He focuses on Sento's presence and he sees the same abandoned district he wanted to explore with the mission on his mind. The Genin can't do that mission alone can he, Han thinks. He then focuses more and fully absorbs the scene as he realizes that he is with a Jounin. 'Wait, a jounin? Is it possible that they are in a squad? Or are they just going on a mission together? I thought squads were removed. Oh well, I hope I get into one.' Han thinks a bit sad that he doesn't have a squad. He then checks to see if anyone else is following along with them and he senses two other Genin on their way in the same general direction. Han nods as he gets that they are in a squad for a mission in the supposed Ghost District. He just accepts the fact and decides to leave it at that. He then goes on to focus on Katto as he was just in an open kimono when the rain started. Han is relieved to know that he made it safely indoors before the rain touched him. He then decides to take a sweep of the entire village. He senses the buildings in the village and all the people scurrying around trying to get indoors or find cover from the heavy pouring rain. He then proceeds to look over the Hokage Chambers as there appears to be a hole in the wall and Han wonders what could have happened while the Hokage was in the Hidden Sand Village for the Jounin Exams. He starts to think that the exams should be over by now and that everyone should be returning back to the Hidden Leaf Village. He then looks at the hospital to check on the state of things. He sees a few patients, mostly minor injuries or diseases that need treatment. He feels sad as he remembers his mother being sick, lying on her bed in the hospital as Han was just watching, unable to do anything. He then looks for a child using the rain and he senses one in the hospital. This time, the child is sick and the parents are watching the child together. Han knows how they feel, worried sick and scared for what might happen. They feel helpless as they can do nothing to save their child themselves. He knows that feeling very well, he has had it before. Han lets a single tear stream down his face as he wipes it away as he sniffles a little. He feels like that this was enough looking around and that he should be training for the next ability, the Hiding in the Rain technique. He takes out the scroll and opens it. He struggles to read the technique listed on the scroll as the sky is dark and gloomy as the rain falls all around him. He is still surprised at the fact that he can push all the senses out of his mind and keep it clear enough to focus. He manages to read the Hiding in the Rain technique after a few minutes of fumbling with it. "The user blends in with the rain at a high speed to be near by the enemy undetected, similar to the Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique. When used, they can summon rain around their current position. For the duration of this technique, the user may blend with the rain or solidify themselves at will. When the technique ends, so does the rain, if it was created by this technique. Because the user's chakra is mixed with the rain, it is almost impossible to know his exact location within the rain." Han says. He feels like to fully understand this technique he should try reading the Hiding in Rock technique. He brings out his Jutsu Encyclopedia and tries to read it, once again fumbling it over as he struggles to read the pages. After a few minutes, he manages to find the right page and read it although it is listed as the Hiding like a Mole technique instead of the Hiding in Rock technique. "Allows the user to flow their chakra into the surrounding earth, thus turning it temporarily into a fine sand. During this process the user can sink into the ground and travel through it, the sand acting to "push" the user whilst under the ground, allowing them to move freely. The user can pinpoint where they are, despite being underground, by sensing the magnetic forces. They can also sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy, up to 50 meters away. The user cannot burrow through other doton unless the digging power of the jutsu surpasses the other." Han says as he reads this out loud. Han starts to think and says he might as well give it a try as he charges up his chakra and quickly performs three hand seals. He then proceeds to push his chakra all throughout his body as he steps forward into the rain. He feels the droplets of wet rain drops hitting every part of his body, he hears the rhythm of the water hitting the ground, one after another, not seeming to end. He smells the ground softening under the properties of the water creating mud. He feels his body start to shift and change as his arm feels lighter. His arm barely feels physical anymore, barely even tangible he thinks as he looks towards his arm and realizes nothing is there. Han starts to panic a little before realizing that he can solidify it at will. He feels calm and collected as he tries again. Three hand seals once again as he feels his arm seemingly evaporate into the rain itself as he feels a little unnerved but manages to stay calm, cool, and collected. He manages to completely submerge himself into the rain, turning seemingly invisible to the naked eye. He feels so light and free as he moves around without any problem. The only thing here is Han has some trouble keeping up the stamina to withstand it. He releases the jutsu and walks into the village. He hasn't had fun in a while, at least on purpose. Nowadays, he trains and works and he gets satisfaction out if it but at times he feels a bit bored. He decides that it is time to have some fun, after all he is still a kid. He walks to the Hidden Leaf Village Ninja Academy and goes to one of the groups of children playing outside. He goes up to a group of five kids who are playing in the rain together and he smiles. He walks up to them and asks if he could join them. "Hey kids! Would you mind if I joined you for some games? You might even learn some things from me!" Han asks with a sincere smile on his face. The kids, not being that much younger than Han, allow him to join and he makes them play hide and seek. Han is a hider this time. Han gathers his time together and whispers in their ear, telling them to charge up their chakra into their feet and pull the ground towards them using their chakra. He would then tell them to follow him as he slowly showed them how to walk up a building. The kids follow as they try to walk up the side of the Ninja Academy and only about two or three of the four could follow him. He brings them up the side of the building and stand still as they watch the seeker run around the place looking for each and every one of them. The seeker searches and searches but only manages to find the one other player who could not walk up the side of the building with the rest of them. They manage to finally catch Han after he runs from building to building in the rain, his clothes wet and soaked, when he slips and falls and they catch up to him and he concedes, letting them win. He then gets up and dries himself off as he asks for one more game but this time with different rules. "Ok, guys. This was a fun game and now, I will be seeking. The only difference is, I can not catch you if you see me, you understand? Ok, are you guys ready? Let's start." He says as he closes his eyes. He feels the kids running around the village as fast as they can while Han starts to count slowly. It may be cheating but Han wanted to try and use his newly learned techniques. "One, Hurry up. Two, Run quickly. Three, Look for a place to hide. Four, Start hiding. Five, Fix your positions. Six, Make sure it looks like you were never there. Seven, Make sure no one else is near or close to you. Eight, I'm gonna start seeking soon. Nine, Don't breathe! Ten! Ready or not, here I come!" Han says as he opens his eyes. He starts sensing for the closest person and he can sense that he is in the tree beside him. Han looks straight at him and sees nothing but a tree, that would have been a good spot if he couldn't sense anything. He quickly uses the Flicker Movement Technique and follows it up with the Hiding in the Rain technique. He becomes one with the rain and he feels all his senses sharpened as he walks up the tree slowly, leaving slight distortions in the rain. Han quickly appears behind the student hiding in the tree. He whispers in his ear softly and creepily. "Got you." As he solidifies his hand on his shoulder, scaring the child and making him fall out of the tree with a big splash. The child winces in pain as Han jumps down and uses the Basic Medical Ninjutsu Level One to heal the bruise before it forms then he returns to his liquefied state. He blends with the rain and moves towards the next student. This student is a girl who ran on to the roof of the Ninja Academy and covered herself in a cloth that matches the roof tiles. He does the same with her as he did the last child, he climbs up the side of the building with the Tree Climbing/Surface Walking Technique to scale it. He creeps up on the girl and pulls the cloth of slowly as all she sees is the cloth falling off of her body and the rain falling until Han whispers gently and softly in her ear as he puts his hand on her shoulder. "I got you." He whispers. She screams and jumps up as she runs off the roof and runs down the side of the building. Han smiles as she learned from him. He chases after her and finds out that he is much faster than her. He appears in front of her and performs the Tiger hand seal and touches the ground as the water around her surround her and encase her in an Ice Prison. "I got you, you're out." He says as he releases her and heads in the direction of another student. He returns to his stealth as he hides in the rain he created again and he senses around for the next student. This student seemed to be standing in the open and Han felt confused and curious as to what he was planning. He looks at the street where the student was meant to be and he sees a crowded street full of people. He smirks and thinks that this kid is smart. He looks around and he doesn't find anything. He walks to the nearest view point that gives him clear visual images of the street that the student is in. He watches as people keep passing by each other, making their way to their respective jobs or homes and he sees one person who sits on a bench, looking around back and forth every once in a while. Han Body Flickers to the student sitting on the bench and returns to his rain stealth and he whispers to the student. "Nice try. You're smart, just don't be so obvious next time." He says as he grasps both of the student's shoulders to make sure that he does not run. He then goes on to the Hokage building where he feels the second to the last Ninja Academy student hiding. He walks up to the roof of the Hokage building and he sees the boy standing out in the open, doing nothing. Han is confused once more as these students are getting bolder and bolder or more and more creative. He walks up to the student and tries to grab him and he notices that he ends up holding a stool. 'Substitution jutsu huh? Nice one, kid. You will not get away from me though. Now, where exactly are you?' Han thinks to himself as he tries to find the running student. He body flickers multiple times to get in front of the student as he stealths up once again and grabs him. "I got you, kid. Don't try to run from someone faster then you. Got it? Ok, now I gotta find your last friend." Han says to the kid as he ruffles through the kids hair. He then proceeds to look for the last student, who appears to be in Ichiraku Ramen's or near it at least. He quickly flickers over and over to reach Ichiraku Ramen's and he starts to look around. He then hears the student's voice calling him over to the alley so he walks over and finds nothing to be seen. He looks behind him and finds three copies of the same student. 'Clone jutsu, huh. These kids are on their way to being strong Leaf Shinobi. They are all smart and talented kids, they will be great inheritors of the Will of Fire.' Han thinks to himself as he sees the clone on the left speaking to him, telling him to attack. He then tries to grab the one on the right since it might be a trick and his hands go right through as the clones disappear. Han looks as the real student uses a jutsu which creates a stream of fire heading straight towards Han and Han smiles, as he puts his hands up and creates a dome of ice almost instantaneously to block the fire, which was already weakened in the rain, and to prevent any further assaults. He watches as this student tries to attack with an array of fire techniques and basic taijutsu techniques to try and break through the crystalline ice dome that protected Han. Han quickly body flickers and carries the boy as he says that he got him. The boy looks sad and disappointed then Han just ruffles his hair and complements him for his bravery and skill. Han says goodbye to the kids and thinks that he would be a good teacher and that he should do those things more often as he had a lot of fun. Han checks the time and he heads back to the Ninja Academy to return the scrolls as he thanks the librarian and returns the scrolls happily. He then releases the Rain Tiger at Will technique and he feels his mind go quiet as everything he sensed in the village goes away as suddenly as it came. He is taken aback for a bit and he feels a bit disoriented and then decides to head home as it is lunch time by now. He has a great meal with his father as they discuss what had happened so far today as he smiles and listens to his father talk about work. After lunch, Han goes up stairs and dries off his clothes before taking an ice cold shower, which relaxes him ever since he learned how to use his Yuki techniques and learned about his bloodline. He then proceeds to put on some casual clothes, a black t-shirt with jeans, and lies down on his bed. He relaxes for a few hours, reading his books and practicing his jutsu until dinner time came along and he had a hang out at Ichiraku Ramen's with Ryu and Katto. He heads out and walks the long dirt path and slowly makes his way to Ichiraku Ramen's. He takes in the view of the beautiful and bright lights in the village that shine on the village itself as he reaches his destination of the restaurant. He meets up with his friends and he starts talking about everything he has done since the academy. He talks about the friends he had made, the techniques and jutsu he has learned, his discovery of the Yuki bloodline and his mother's story, and he just makes small talk. His friend Katto decides to discuss next. He talks about his struggles in the Academy as he was never really good at using his chakra and he was always bullied by others when Han and Ryu graduated. Han felt a bit sad and worried about him but he sees the strong and great ninja he is right now. He also talks about how he trained his body, spirit, and mind to mastering his weaponry and taijutsu skills which helped his chakra control. He then starts talking about the people he met so far, including Sento Senju who sparred with him previously. Han listens intently to his story, eager to learn about his friend from the Academy. After Katto is done, Ryu stands up to talk about his life so far. He talks about the job he is working in, which is the sous chef at Ichiraku Ramen's despite being only fifteen years old. He then talks about his training as he still stays in shape by cooking with his techniques and training in his spare time. Ryu dreams of one day owning Ichiraku Ramen and spreading it to other countries in the world. He then proceeds to discuss the competition they have at Ichiraku Ramen. There are a lot of people who want to take it down because it dominates the food market at the moment. They all chat and joke with each other, making their bonds of friendship and camaraderie much, much stronger. They each order meals and drinks, non-alcoholic of course since they were all kids. They have a great time and eat, drink, talk, and enjoy each other's company for the rest of the night. The night is over and they all say their farewells and goodbyes until the next time they can meet and talk. Han walks home slowly with a full stomach and happy thoughts, he thinks about all the good times he has had and all the friends he has made. He thinks about everyone he cares for and how much they mean to him. He reminds himself of his promise to protect those he loves, those he cares for, no matter what. He heads home and greets his father as he says his goodnights to him and heads back into his room. He brushes his teeth and changes into his pajamas as he heads to bed. He reflects on everything that had happened that day and his joy for being able to meet his friends. He holds his mother's charm tightly, reading the engraving which says "Protect" on it, leaving an impression on Han. He knows his mother will protect him, but he knows he has to protect everyone else. He has to end their suffering, he must ease their pain, even if it will hurt him, even if it will destroy him. He promised he would not let the people he loved die. He would sacrifice his life for his village, his comrades, his friends, his family. He says his prayers and asks for protection and guidance as he slowly falls into a deep rest as his eyes get heavier and heavier and he slowly drifts into a state of unconsciousness known as sleep. He feels the softness of his bed and his pillow as his aching body sunk slowly into his mattress for a night's rest.
