Once again, Zakari found himself back at the academy. This time he was taking things a little slow, and reading up on some of his studies. The first thing he decided on reading over was some of his notes on chakra nature. He had never really looked to much into it, but he did remember a while ago that his dad tested him for his chakra nature. He said Zakari had a lightning chakra nature, which made sense, because his dad said the clan members often had fire or lightning chakra natures. 
Studying this chakra nature was pretty simple, because Zakari did not have any notes that went really in depth on the concept as it was more of the basics. Still, learning this had sparked an interest in Zak as he now wanted to learn something that would allow him to show off his chakra nature, something flashy.
He had borrowed a scroll from his sensei that went over the most basic of lightning techniques. It felt like he was reading for a long time, some of the jutsus sounded cool, but nothing really popped out at him. That was until he saw it, Lightning Style: Shock Paddles. It was a medical jutsu, and it jumped out at him, because Zakari's training with basic medical ninjutsu was still frest in his mind. Not to mention, judging from how this was being described in the scroll. The jutsu also had some offensive techniques, so he had options if he learnt it.
Ok, it's decided. I'm going to learn this. He first read over it to understand exactly what it did. It seemed pretty simple. Their were not even any hand seals, except for a hand clap. It was more about getting you chakra to turn into lightning.
"This should be easy."
He closed his eyes as he focused on gathering his chakra. He did not have any hand seals. All that was required was to clap his hands together. When he did that he held his hands out and opened his eyes. He expected to see lightning, but their was nothing. He could feel the chakra was gathering to his hands, so what was the problem. Zakari turned back to his scroll, and read it over again, but he found nothing he that helped him.
Zakari calmed down, and tried to think Ok, what is the problem? The problem is I want might chakra to turn into lightning? How do I do that? Well, I have no idea.Think about what lightning is. It is fast, intense, and sudden. After his last thought, Zakari had an idea. He closed his eyes and clapped his hands together. This time, when he gathered his chakra he did not stop their. He focused on trying to move the chakra like vibrating it quickly tying to move it back and forth, also suddenly releasing his chakra instead of steadily releasing small amounts. Suddenly, Zap!, his eyes shot open. What was that? He repeated the same process over again, but this time with his eyes open. What he saw immediately brought a smile to his face. Their was a yellow glow surrounding his hands, and the energy was definitely in the form of electricity. He did it!
"Alright!" He fist pumped into the air, and the lightning dissipated.
He performed the jutsu a few more times, sometimes let the jutsu dissipate, and other times slammed his hands against tree leaving a small burn mark. It was just like the scroll said, he could probably use this as a form of attack, but it would not do to much to any ninja. Maybe, surprise them a little. Still, Zakari's ninja arsenal was growing slowly, but surely.
