Re: Honoring Those We've Lost (Funeral Topic/Open)

The lycan nodded as Queen accepted his offer, giving her a little smile as well. His body relaxed substantially, his shoulders slacked and his arms untensed... He was glad that he and Queen could put their spats behind them and move forward as friends... even if it was over her leader's and lover's grave... He followed her gaze as she looked back the funeral, it seeming to be coming to an end very soon. He could hear the words signifying the tail end of the last speech the sorrow in their voices and the loss... All bringing the lycan back to reality. Queen started to make her way back but Sal hesitated, not quite ready to leave the peacefulness of this moment just yet. He wanted it to last longer, for them to reminisce just a bit more before they had to deal with death and say their goodbyes to another friend....
He turned to face his new friend when she called for him again, blinking in surprise when she mentioned "the red-haired girl." She saw him and Kira together? He didn't expect that she would know anything about his love-life with her but then... he didn't know about hers and Jason's until recently. What she had to say touched the boy's wolven heart, a generous piece of advice he most certainly wouldn't let go to waste. He smiled softly at his former rival and, white it was weak, it was full of gratitude.
"I will." He promised.
With that, the two of them made their way back to the end of the ceremony, wishing their friends one final farewell.
(exit as well)
