Day two, more kids (open for your or my pleasure)

orokana would appear in front of her as the mist faded. he watched her for moments as she thought. he thought about this girl and watched her struggle. she did the first part very fast. but it seems she needed more practice. maybe it was time to tell a lie to his young friend. "well if i told you how, you wouldnt learn how to master it now would you. i will give you a hint. use the same chakra flow from when you did it the first time. oh and this genjutsu will stop your heart if you take too long so... might want to hurry." he sighed rubbing his neck then he walked to a nearby tree as he started to read under the shade. "you are on your own from here." he would say as he would ignore any calls for help. his book was his own and he started reading some of the lower leveled genjutsu. for if she passes, or fails. he picked out some genjutsu she could use very easily. it wouldnt be very helpful. but it would help show her the hows and whens to genjutsu. then he started writing down his own theory to his genjutsu. his plan was for the girl, once she learned a genjutsu. to use it on him so he could test his theory out. he wrote down what he thought about how to do it and continued to write more about its pros and cons. in his thoughts it would be a very difficult thong to use since the fact that it depended on if the enemy knew genjutsu. then theres the fact that if he needed to use the tech it would take chakra he didnt plan to use. meaning it might work against him in some areas. but he hoped his curse seal would help negate that fact. then theres the matter of if he used it, it would only be effective once of twice.

He suddenly appeared out of nowhere or at least it seemed like that and the following words were kind of frightening. She would die? Just like that her heart would stop? How would this happen? A spear through her heart or strangled by a branch maybe? She was kind of terrified. But why would he put such a jutsu onto her. What did she do to deserve to be killed? Well there was nothing she did, there was nothing wrong with the way she did things`. Angry she let out a slight grow while she tugged at her restrains. Well what did he say? She should take the same chakraflow as before when she used her hands. Good then she would do so. Her muscles where stressed and she was thinking hard while in her mind the hand sign appeared. Concentrate on the chakra. How it flows deep inside walking its many lines and giving her body strength. She felt more at ease with everything going on since she Chakra was circulating tough her body and she felt good about it. Her bones seemed to loosen up, the tightness made way for the jutsu she tried to use. Every ounce of energy in her body was working towards her aim, her aim to set herself free from this Genjutsu. It was about time since she did not seem to have so much of it left. This would normally be the point where she put her Hands together to for the seal, but this time she had to go without it. It had to work without it.
No she would not be intimidated by this. Her father would be ashamed if she would just surrender herself to this kind of play. No one would kill her with just this. The illusion of a tree entangling her in his branches or something could never be the reason she would bite the dust. That her heart would just stop? Crazy thought and with that little anger boiling inside of her there something hit a note and the chakra was set free. The Jutsu broke and she was able to move again. Taking a deep breath she rubbed over her arms and her forehead. This had been a stressful situation. "Those Gens sure are frightening and seem so real. If I did not know better I would have mistaken it for Wood Release or something", she said a little out of breath. "But thank you so far this has been very educational." Then she smiled again her sweet and friendly smile as if nothing had ever happen.

as the girl struggled and fought the genjutsu and her chakra. oro was writing down everything he could think about his gen. but it wasnt enough information. he figured he needed more time to figure things out before he had time to test it. which annoyed him a lot. it was going slower then he thought. he didnt watch the girl the whole time. he flipped around the pages and sighed. then he stood up. as she finished getting out of the genjutsu. he would need to tell her about his lie. "yes, it over loads your sense to make you think everything is real. and thats why its so useful. oh and i was lying about the genjutsu killing you." he said looking at the girl. "i just said that so you had more of a sense of danger to learn how to get out with no hand seals." he sighed as he rubbed his neck. "well anyways you ready to learn some genjutsu, study it on your own?" he asked as he took out his book. "we will start with a first gen i used on it. its an easy one." he said if the girl agreed to learning it. and if she did he would hand her his book, open to the page that had the genjutsu, descending hell, on it. it would have all the information and different diagrams and notes about when not to use it and when to use it. like the following. 'you never want to use this genjutsu against another genjutsu user, it does nothing and it will be an easy tell that you also know about genjutsu. use it against someone that doesnt know about genjutsu. a easy way to figure that out is by using a different genjutsu and see how they react. you always want to try and make it sound like that fire ball in the sky is your real jutsu.' and some other things. "read it, practice it a bit, read it again, then try it on me. if you do it right i will tell you about a second genjutsu you should learn about. both of these are useful even if you dont go after genjutsu a whole lot." he nodded then stand next to a tree. as he yawned and now didnt have his book to read or write in.

Carefully she listened to what he had to say and then looked at him puzzled. Why did he lie to her? Well he said why, but wasn't it a little out of proportion? "That was kind of harsh, but I admit it was a good way to motivate me", she nodded and stretched a little. While she moved her muscles a little he went on telling her about teaching her to use a Genjutsu that would be kind of amazing to get out of a fight without fighting, if the enemy was trapped inside of an illusion that would just keep him or her for some seconds. Even if they were just good enough to just get away, even a small frightening image could be enough. So she was gladly agreeing to his offer. Maybe it was nicer to be the one doing the Jutsu instead of being trapped inside of it. So she took the book he opened and looked at it. Red in it, like he suggested she should.
Descent into hell was the name of it and it always summoned that huge fireball. But how was that a hell like image? No demons or lava or at least a dark cave? Well a fireball was something to be scared of just like hell, but it was not literal hell, so somehow this was totally different from what she would expect from the name of the technique. But well, if it was that way and the notes said it was easy to spot if you knew about it. Why was it such a high rank Jutsu if it was so easy to spot? Well maybe because of the size of it? She did not really know in what the creator of this jutsu had in mind, but who was she to question this? Maybe it was so highly ranked because it did not only create an image, but also a feeling of heat. Influencing both eyes and feeling was something quite difficult, or so she thought it to be. So now she was up and ready to try the physics of it, but how would she know it worked? Well he said, read, try and then read again before using it on him. So could one use Gen on one's own mind? Probably not, but she would be trying to use it anyways. So she gently placed down the book in front of herself so that she could clearly see the hand seals she was supposed to do while she stood up straight.
Clutching the fingers of both hands against their palms and then making them touch together by also pressing the palms against each other, boar seal. Then followed by a totally closed right fist with the left one on top of it but flattened out, dog seal. Then forming a triangle shape with small and middle and index fingers touching each other while the thumbs extended towards the body also touching like arms in a waltz and the ring fingers arched over each other like claws, bright seal. Afterwards putting the left hand over the right hand in a relaxed position but keeping in mind to putt the upper thumb below the pinkie of the other hand and on the other side the lower thumb over the pinkie, monkey seal. And then making pinkie and ring finger of the right hand touch the thumb while the middle and index finger where straight up. On top of that put the left hand also with straight up pointing index and middle finger while the thumb, pinkie and ring finger are folded around the other hands middle and index finger, ram seal. Doing this something inside her activated and she could feel the energy within her. Taking deep breaths she set it free, but as she imagined nothing happened because she did not give the jutsu an aim, but it at least did feel like it was okay. So she bent down to get the book again.
The things described inside told her not to use it on someone who knew it, because it would lessen the chance of its success, but well he was her only training partner so it had to be like that. She then carried the book over to him sitting on the sidelines and said. "Oro-sensei, I guess I am ready for a try at least, that is, if you still want to", she smiled at him holding out the book to him so he could take it back.

As she looked closer it would seem as if her teacher had been falling asleep so the young shinobi let him be as he was and continued reading the book again. Silently repeated what it said on the pages about the Jutsu that had the almost blood freezing name while having such a heating effect. While she read the part about it being bad against those who knew about Genjutsu she thought about how one could discover if another shinobi had knowledge about this kind of techniques. She would suggest that any shiobi she met would have some basic ninjutsu knowledge at least because it was taught in the academy and some taijutsu because it was done to train the body, but Genjutsu was one of a kind. She herself had just now learned about their devastating power and how frightening they could be, how real it could feel when wines wrapped around ones arms. The young girl took another look into the book but nothing no mention of a sure indicator but the fact that they were using them as well or at least trying. But as long as on knew what the illusion was she could pretend that it was real. Like making the Genjutsu and then acting as if she was doing some fireball jutsu n hopes it would scare attackers off before they could see that it was a faux. She placed the book down into Orokanas lap smiling softly at him resting there.
She would decide to stay a while. Once again she started concentrating on her body and bones. She let them grow and harden let them build up the armour. Slowly creeping underneath her skin she could feel how her bones started to grow together to a kind of second skin if you will, It felt kind of weird but also empowering to have such strong protection via a Jutsu that only her clan could do. She started to move around with it. Tried holding it while moving but the Jutsu broke again. She was not really able to control it that well and holding it up was pretty hard on her part. It was like balancing a raw egg on a small straw or something. At least she felt like it. The balance between things was the hardest. Not fusing in too much chakra to immobilize her in the end. Well, she was not quite sure if the Jutsu would make her stiff like a stone when she overdid it because overdoing something was never really good. But if she did not use enough Chakra the bones would not hold against any hit or anything brought against it. She spend some time training, putting the Jutsu up over and over again trying to move around in it and doing some small exercises in hopes her skills in doing this technique would grow a little more and indeed at the end of her little workout she felt a little more connected to her inner heritage that grew inside her father's lineage.
Then she walked over to Orokana and gently patted his head. Wishing him sweet dreams whispering to him that she needed to go home, because it was getting late and her parents would expect her to be home soon. She did not want to worry them too much so she was going home. She bowed before him thanking him even though he might not have seen or heard anything and then made her way back home. Her walk skipping like she always would do while humming a sweet melody that she had heard from her mother before. The lullaby she had sung to her when she was young.

If you say I have written the 2000 for learning the jutsu I will gladly claim it, biut I would not say so myself.

The trick is the rule only states you need to do 50% of the training toward the tech itself, as long as half the word count of the tech is training the tech then the other half can from anything. You clearly posted half the WC, a little more actually. Meaning you can use the excess to finish.
