In these times(xyxer)

A day after the excitement at the gate, when Yazu entered the village, after all of the excitement had died and Yazu had found a moment to return and check on his 'collections', Yazu would find a moment to speak with the glorious Mizukage. The public execution was a grand spectacle, one that could not be rivaled in the eyes of the young chuunin in all of his time alive. The spectacle showed Yazu the flair Xyxer had for showmanship andthe boy was impressed. The white haired boy had always despised Ren so, to see his life ended as it shouldve been, on display for the entire village, brought the utmost pleasure, possibly even more than if he had done so himself in that back alley village, but that would have sent no message, set no example. Yazu indeed had much to learn of leadership.
Yazu would then prepare himself for his following meeting with his Lord, by the basic parameters of the mission he did succeed, having delivered the boy and securing his death, and though it did result in the best way possible, it could have gone south at any point through the mission, and ultimately had Rewn not travelled here on his own accord he would not have succedded and this was utimately a failure and for this Yazu did feel shame. He would have preferred to have brought him in a bloody pile.
The day seemed more radiant than usual with the sun peeping throught the clouds in small cracks though the overcast and typical darkness of Kirgakure no Sato still remained, The white haried boy wore his clothes beneath the armor instead of just his typical nudeness in preparation for its return. He walked to the monument, having been informed that it would be where he would meet the man. Yazu could feel the eyes on him informing Xyxer of his approach, the evr present eyes of Xyxer's lackeys.
Yazu would enter the destroyed monument and wait for Xyxer's punishment.

Xyxer's vision was being realised, but to what extent would it cost him? He'd be renowned for his deeds within Kirigakure, that was inevitable, but would he be considered a legend or a cautionary tale? The male that flew too close to the sun and burnt as a consequence? Something had to change. This time, Xyxer's gaze had been fixed on neither the ground nor the sky, but instead on the plinth that had once supported a great statue in his honour. The destruction of this monument to himself was an insult to Kirigakure.. a few jokes could be shared by foreign shinobi about how they were incapable to afford the rebuilding. No.. that was the logical side of the male trying to sway him.. to provide reasoning for why he'd succumb to the whims of the demon within. No.. he wanted it back because then his glory would be recognised once more. His divinity. Just like the statue, he would make a return into the world.. and he'd take it all.
The paranoid boy heading towards him made an abundance of sound as his sandals scraped the floor with each movement, prompting the male to look over his shoulder towards Yazu before turning back towards the marble plinth. He nodded his head towards his side, presuming the boy wold be able to understand the simple gesture. He was a rather keen fellow, after all, he hunted the male down quickly and on short notice. "Tell me how you came to collect the traitor." Xyxer inquired almost immediately, keen to hear the boy's story.

At Xyxer's demand Yazu would continue his walk toward the imposing man, seeing the request for what it was. An invitation to admire the rebuilding of the statue along side him. It would seem there was not a great deal of animosity coming from him, so perhaps Xyxer did not consider it a failure like he did, whether Xyxer did consider it a failure was unimportant because Yazu still did, he could try to weave this to his benefit, but chose not to for the astute Kage would surely notice. The pace was normal and would make it to the right of the Mizukage few moments he would stand next to Xyxer only slightly behind the man and would look up at the workers as they toiled on the statue. It was a vain purchase to be sure, but it provided jobs to craftsmen and that was indeed a service to the village. Yazu stood proud, he did not see an opportunity to kneel but would if demanded. Staring up at the moving stone his cold lifeless yellow eyes would shift as he recalled the events.
"I found Ren Tsubasa within a black market location, somewhere near the borders of the Lightning country. There was little info to be gathered as it seemed the people either knew very little of him of were loyal to him to the level of zealotry. I hypothesize he used his memory alteration to cover his tracks. What I gathered was that he had an organization of Missing Ninja and refugees who would not follow the Annexing of Sunagakure by Kumogakure. He preyed on the fear of those who fled Kumo's advancement. The organization was almost impossible to gather information on beyond that and only found Ren on luck as I spotted him briefly after tracking him to a small village. I offered him a choice in the streets, because I quickly surmised that in that situation I would be incapable of forcing him back with my own strength, and for that I am a failure. I offered him an option to atone for his betrayal by returning to Kirigakure and if he did not he would admit his guilt and offer you a chase. Like a coward he returned and I followed him back to ensure his return." The young boy would state without as much as flinching, concentrating on the workers, toiling like ants busy at work. "I wanted to carry him back on a sling clinging to life begging for the pain to end, I wanted him to plead for the mercy of the villagers, and plead for his life. I wanted to see a man broken in spirit and in body. I knew this would please you Lord Mizukage, and in failing to please you, I have failed you." It would be at this point Yazu would bend to his right knee and lower his head. Unworthy of the armor he wore.

From Yazu's words came modicums of emotion, at least from what Xyxer could understand. Perhaps it was not outwardly inlaid within the words from the tone of his voice, nor was it clear from his selection of vocabulary.. but it was how he perceived the situation. It was always interesting for the Apex to hear the thoughts of another. He could add them to his collection, understand how certain people function in situations he forces them into.. he'd prepared the greatest scenario for Haru Hyuuga himself, all crafted from the years of tests he had put him through. He understood the pride of the Hyuuga now as it found itself reflected in the broken form of Aryll. Now, he saw the world from the eyes of a subservient predator.. again. The feelings of Ren in the matter were irrelevant to both of them, it was the destination and actions of the duo that mattered, and for Xyxer, the notoriety that had been gained from his brutal execution.
Yazu seemed to care a lot about his personal strength rather than his cunning, which amused the Mizukage. A victory was a victory regardless of how it came about, he had to concede to that fact after many talks with Gyuki regarding the false virtue he held so dearly. A part that confused the leader, however, was when Yazu called Ren a coward for returning.. while it was true that he had witnessed Yazu not too far behind him, returning to a place that has you wanted without a formal escort is by no means cowardice. Abandoning your village is a cowardly act, but to return without a man holding a knife to your throat is some form of bravery and foolishness mixed into one, as Ren had realized during the final moments of his terrifying return.
Finally, Xyxer simply shrugged his shoulders in response to what Yazu himself finished with. "He was broken in mind and body, were you not around to show your support for the beloved dean of our Academy?" Xyxer quipped rhetorically, removing the wrapped, white blade from the sash on his back and holding it out before him as the male knelt before him. "Hold your hand out, Yazu." Xyxer spoke coldly, a slight bit of tension shown on the bandaging at the bottom side of the blade.

Yazu would nod when asked if he was present for the showing, of course he was he had followed Ren to the village he was right behind the boy. Yazu had entered secretly behind, he knew Xyxer had noticed his entrance but Yazu went out of his way to not remove the spotlight from the Mizukage and the Traitor, slinking in quietly and watching from the crowd. Yazu would nod to the mizukage to confirm his presence at the execution but would say no more. It was an excellent display but Yazu was not satisfied, it seemed to clean, lacked the violence necessary to appease him. Of course Yazu would never be ignorant enough to admit that openly, as long as the death satisfied Xyxer it would ultimately serve Yazu's best interests. Yazu would heed the commands of his Mizukage, he would shift toward the Kage pivoting on the grounded knee so that as he outstretched his hand it would be facing Xyxer. The once clenched fist would uncurl and leave the hand exposed for his commander, palm side up, as Yazu had no idea what Xyxer intended but as it was worded sounded as though he would be receiving something possibly, and had no reason to assume hostility at this point. His eyes would not make eye contact with the stoic Mizukage though they would shift somewhat, being on the ground before this man was in no way humiliating, but it was quite unnerving. Yazu had a keen mind and considered himself a well versed in the human condition, being able to predict peoples actions based on how they have already acted, but as a Sociopath Xyxer simply mimed out emotion much like himself, making his eyes cold and unpredictable.
Yazu's hand was now directly before Xyxer as was requested with palm facing the sky. Did Yazu know what was going to happen, no, but he did know that he wasn't going to be receiving a handshake.

Tearing from their white, fabric cage, the scales of Samehada stood proud in their jagged rows as they pressed into the flesh of Yazu's palm. It was nothing serious enough to kill, although it may provide an interesting scar on a man that no doubt had collected so many with his time on this world. Members of his clan seemed to always bare a myriad of scars from peculiar things, and well.. being made from threads certainly didn't help. To tear your own body willingly and repetitively as if it was a puppet requiring new stitching was a sickening thought, but it explained the cold nature of his clan to a greater extent than Xyxer himself could vocalise. Self-destruction often lead to a lack of care for others, this they both knew.
Ripping through the palm of his hand, the scales created a fresh lesion on the exposed palm of Yazu. The sword was dragged over his palm slowly so that the terrible scales shredded through his hand for a good while, carving through the flesh as if it was simply the next meal. Yazu had a lot of encounters with Samehada, likely moreso than the rest of his village. That was peculiar in itself. Xyxer spoke now however, as he pulled the bloodied sword from the temporarily mangled hand, "You hunted him down successfully and quickly, as such, you've earned the rank of Jounin. To venture into this world and display the strength of Kirigakure begets reward. Congratulations on your new rank." Xyxer stated simply, allowing for the male to rise and leave should he be ready.

The emulated fear in Yazu's eyes would appear nearly genuine when the shark like sword began tearing its clothe wrap to shreds begging to be released. Yazu had no clue what Xyxer intended to do here, but given the last time he experienced the evil blade, he knew it couldnt be good, and it was this uncertainty that troubled the boy the most. What did hos Mizukage plan? Was his failure going to result in death similar to that of Ren Tsubasa? If it did, Yazu would not show an ounce of weakness.
As the blade dug into the flesh and began tearing, he could feel the skin shredding, the immense pain shocked him almost causing him to yelp aloud, he would steady the arm with his working hand by grasping the shoulder and holding it as still as possible. Though he tried to show no signs of pain or weakness, the winces of pain would still show through. The temptation to alleviate himself of the pain by administering anesthetic to the hand was real, but just as he began prepping the chakra Xyxer would speak.
Yazu would realize that this was a test, a trial that he was receiving due to his success, not a punishment. Afterward he would revel in the pain, letting it transform him. The blood covered impotent white, red and black hand did not even look like a hand any longer, just a mass of dangling threads with dangling white flesh. The winces would fade into a smile as he no longer felt the pain, not because of the anesthetic which he didnt use but because his ultimate ambitions were being fully realized. Advancement within Kirigakure meant that you fell into the upper echelons of the finest warriors in the land. It meant that you acheived a title that very very few have ever achieved.
"Thank You my Lord," Yazu would respond retracting the destroyed hand and cradling it close to his chest, like an injured dog tending to his wound. Yazu would stand and present Xyxer with a bow. As he reached back and grabbed the duffle bag he used for the armor with his one good hand. It was excellent protection through the trials in the black market, serving as an intimidating visage used to collect the necessary information. Letting the armor lay upon the ground, he knew Xyxer had servants to tend to it. Would a fight have occured, Yazu knew that the armor would have been the only reason he came back alive, s once again he owed Xyxer his life.
Realizing the stoic Kage would not leave first, Yazu would excuse himself assuming there was no other conversation started following this.
