For What!? (P, NK)
Fri Aug 04, 2017 9:02 pm
Ketsueki was standing around the low visibility park near the shopping district, usually something Ketsueki believed would be a far more crowded area, but yet again, he was disappointed, Mitsukatta curled up in the center of a merry go round. He huffed. Now a genin. A genin. A genin. What did that even mean. Now he can do things for his village, but he's had yet to actually be called forth. He could use this time to talk to the Mizukage but as he's analyzed the behavior of his lord he found it hazardous to even think about it lest he's proven himself useful and subservient. "What do I do with this, this new opportunity. What kind of ninja can I be." Therein lie the problem. He always had goals, accomplishments and all of that. Never recognizing exactly what they would make him. Or whether or not they would make him anything. He looked up at the lukewarm sky, hearing footsteps all around him, distant, close, Heavy, light, coming, going. And dismissed it all as noise as he stood atop the monkey bars.

The night was beginning, dusk had begun moments ago, and the rain of the village was beginning to pick up as well. Living in Kiri you could begin to feel the sudden changes in the weather, from when its going to be a mist to a downpour. Mors was out scouring the village, aimlessly walking around in the usual white bandage and red scarf that he wore. He had no clear goal or judgement in mind, mainly just to watch how things were in the village, keep a close eye on his surroundings.
The Jashinist eyes watched over everything, scanning and reading all they came across. He came across a park, but the only interesting part of the park was the being inside of it. The little being was too agile to be one of the usual ones that are seen, though it seemed to be a step above the ones at the academy, a little more to it. Mors watched the being in the park, for it seemed lost, judging from the way its body language moved.

Ketsueki's jacket was left beside Mitsukatta, the puppy drawing comfort from it as the boy himself stood, arms exposed. Unnaturally so for him. But then it was unnatural for him to be this lost, feeling the clamminess of the air dissipate he began to look around, finally putting pictures to the sound and seeing many walking, one more curious than the others. The red scarf causing Ketsueki's eyes to focus on him, even when he preferred to get the rest of the area, hoping primarily to see something of note. Maybe this gloom was the onset of the passing of one, not close but admired by the boy. Maybe because all else in their station weren't all too impressed or even interested in him. He supposed that was his drive. Nevermind that, for now business at hand forced him to walk closer to the edge of the monkey bars which were wet from the sheer damp atmosphere. He was now that much closer to the inquisitive figure. He wouldn't be as friendly this time. Slowly finding human interaction to be optional. He chose this one however. Focusing on the red scarf.

As Animae watched the young one, it moved closer to edge of the bars it stood upon. he noticed the little eyes fixated on him, more the red scarf than Mors himself. The tattered scarf of dark red, similar to that of blood, had usually caught the attention of the beings around him. It contrasted the darker colors he wore. As the young one moved closer to Mors, he moved closer to it.
The young ones plagued look appearance depicted it as weak, but it’s action not so much. The demeanor of the being was one of a defensive, not so friendly nature, that caused Mors to smirk and giggle to himself a little. He wanted to see how the mind of the little one operated, whether it’s future consisted of being amongst the humans or one of the monsters. Only time could truly tell, young minds were easily impressionable, if the young being before him was a shinobi and continued on in this village, he may get lost in the sea of monsters that it supposedly produced. Mors could stand and speculate for the rest of the night or take action and find out for himself, so he walked towards the sickly one, watching the movements that we’re made, the Genin's primal instincts were actively working through his senses. The Jashinist kept his movement and expressions bland and void, seeming as almost nothing, making it hard for him to read.
He would not say anything as he got closer, waiting for the being to address him first, staring him with eyes like daggers until he spoke. The reaction would bring some enjoyment to the Genin's mind.

"You." The boy spoke, deciding to speak first. Pridefully so at that. Educated ears would be able to distinguish his tone as mildly agitated, not by the being, the situation, the lightening fog or the growing dark as he had no qualms with any of them. No. This was the inner turmoil of one who would choose his path soon, as any ninja whom had rose through the ranks would. He eventually found himself looking more downward on this being. Mors. Whom had peaked his interest. He let the heels of his feet sink down behind the bars causing him to drop between them. His thin frame slinking through unharmed as he landed. "I need to know you." He said, not resorting to his usual masked friendliness not finding it to be fitting for the situation. "I am Ketsueki Suzumebachi. Genin. You are?" He asked, hands by his sides but his eyes still tracing all around the figure without moving He had a full view of him as did he Ketsueki.

The young one moved from his original post, and slipped through the bars, with a slight sense of grace about it. He did not move as he landed, but he spoke as he did the movement. The words of the young, left his mouth with a slight wavering confidence, not one of fear, but one of an existential crisis beginning. Mors knew how that felt, he could understand how the little being felt, he too had gone through that at one point. The young one obviously, alone and neglected, due to his appearance and how his demeanor was, it wasn’t all that hard to tell to those of trained eyes and mind.
Mors had speculated he knew how he this fellow genin named Ketsueki. He had asked for Mors name, which he would give in a moment, but first Mors approached going from the ten meters the stood from each other closer to the young one. Trying to get as close as three meters away from the shinobi, looking down slightly, one eye would stay on the being, the other the area surrounding him he did this out of memory of his time among wolves this way nothing could come at his throat. This made mores realize that he spent to long away from his sentiment of home, a little out of touch of his roots. ”Mors est Animae, Genin. I need a favor from you there, little Ketsueki,” He smirked, one of joy but a slight loss of the mind too, as he would begin talking fast at the moment he was close to five meters away. ”I need you to kill me.” He’d stop at as he finished his words, looking fully up with both eyes on the genin now, waiting to see what he’d do.

Ketsueki let his eyes follow the dark figure, already able to tell that light did not quite shine for this one. And as he heard the being's name and request, he felt he knew it all before. "No. I haven't the means currently, even if I did. Sending myself to an early death at the hands of our lord is not on my itinerary." He spoke plainly, unshaken by the desires of Mors, as the concept of death had been an obvious absolute where they lived. And it was at this point he began to wonder. Where exactly does he believe he is requesting this? There were many more who would do so. "Besides. My first kill will not be in the street. It will be in the arena." He spoke with a tone far more secure now, he may not have enjoyed the station of dissolution but he was confident enough in his ability to take confidence in it.
He took his eyes off of the scarf, looking up to the beings eyes. "What makes you crave death?" He asked, obviously not knowing enough about him to realize his background.

The young one brought disappointment to Mors, for that was not what he wanted to hear. The no was half expected Mors didn’t expect very many to take up him up on he offer, what foolowed after, brought upon this disappointment, and his face showed that. ”Shame!” the words did not leave his voice box lightly, they were stained with disgust and sternness. The boy before him had confidence or at least some false sense of one. But, his image was distorted in Animae's eyes.”As a shinobi, especially one of such an aggressive village, you should always have the means to kill even when naked. For if you did not you bring shame upon this village and your Lord of the bloody mist. his voice reverting back to the calm and neutral tone. ”Is that what you wish for? Shame and disrespect?”
He took a pause, but was not finished, he had to move on to the next part, since he let the child finish his words before he spoke. He reached back in to the weapon pouch that was behind him, inconspicuously hidden under his shirt, and pulled two kunai from it. One he placed into the pocket in the front, ready for use, the other he tossed forward towards the kid, it landing point stuck in the ground in between the legs of the younger one. ” Now as for death, it escapes me, we’re stuck in a game of cat and mouse, and I hunger for her sweet embrace.” Mors did not experience fear, so he did not understand it in a sense, but he did understand what it was, how it worked, and the necessity of it. ”Now you shouldn’t have to worry about repercussions from the Mizukage, as you will not succeed in the killing me. But, I cannot speak for another, so I do not know.”
He paused again, he looked as though he was stuck in thought, but he was not he was more so making a prayer. Though he was not religious, he felt it his duty to pay respects for his curse believed to be a gift. After he was finished with the prayer, the corners of his mouth lifted, a smile broke upon his face one of a break and bloodlust. His demeanor went from calm and humanlike to one similar to the wild ferocity of predators. ”Now from my standpoint, yiu looked lost, so I bestowed it upon myself to give you a goal one that needs work to achieve, one of no easy feat. In my eyes that shall be your goal. It’s that or death for you in the future.” a chill was amongst his words, as if they were the words of a ghost upon ears, spoken fast but slow. Mors was aware of all that’s been around him, ready for any change, ”So you may take the first steps to achieving that goal or you may die where you stand, never to Grace the arena, Young Ketsueki. The repercussions, I will face with pride and without guilt or wavering.” Mors stared upon the young genin waiting for the child's response.

It took Ketsueki some time to speak, hearing himself be shamed for his current inability to kill. 'Shame, and disrespect.' Oh, had his ire been sparked by the other shinobi. Ketsueki did not flinch as the kunai was thrown at him. He saw it as more of a solution, given to him out of pity or because he was being underestimated, either way he knew just how to use it. He narrowed his eyes, crouching and grabbing the kunai with his left hand, running his fingers along the blade before looking to Mors once more. "I'll begin my march to glory, Mors. And the first step is coating my clothes and this blade in your blood." He stated, beginning to charge the figure. 'He stands to threaten me! To believe he is above death. Hmph! He shall have it tenfold for his tongue.' He thought as he slashed at him, from right to left diagonally, his right arm prepared to catch any return this being had to his action. The time came for action to dictate over speech in his mind, there would be no more dialogue from him.

{OOC: so i take it you have not combat much, so a few pointers, put more details into your attacks as you leave your self open to be vagued as i kind of just did, always add in your stats of how much strength and speed you are using, again though details are everything when i see more issues ill let you know.}
The mind of the young was something of an enigma for some, easily manipulated, easy to control, and easily swayed to do the bidding of others. The young one from Mors’ perspective was filled with mixed emotions, easily read it seemed Mors’ word hit something of a nerve and the tossing of the kunai did not help. It was a challenge sent, he was not baiting the little one in front of him. As many would believe, hell even the kid in front of him might have thought that. No, Mors was teaching in his own misconstrued way, and searching for the one that would give him his sweet gift in the future.
The boy had taken the kunai, held as if he knew how to use it, this pleased Animae, as the young did not seem as just any type of academy recruit. But that did not please him as much as the words that had come next. Ketsueki gave Mors the words he wanted to hear, they felt like ecstasy to his ears, it caused him to smile and laugh, one of a darkened nature.
The boy had then proceeded to charge Mors, this would have been perfect against one of inexperience, but for those of experience it was a foolish move. Mors had let the boy close the short distance between them, for he was moving slowly about a quarter of the speed Mors was able to move. He was slow and that was not going to turn out well. Mors, as the boy came at him, went into your normal fighter’s stance, at his max speed of fifteen, though it was done in a nonchalant, his feet and body turned to the appropriate position to fight fluidly and tactically the one in front of him. As the blade would come from down diagonally from Mors’ right side to his left slowly at four speed, he would shift weight to his left foot while casually moving his upper half slightly back to avoid the blade, and winding to the right. He’d release like a spring his right leg would lift to a parallel to his hip, his knee slightly bent, to release his shin at the left side of Ketsueki’s hip, using all his strength and speed on it. This attack would be hard to avoid, but it was needed for such a foolish attempt.
