Outpost Takeover [P] Empty Outpost Takeover [P]

Mission:

What were ninja to do on their free time when they weren't on missions or doing tasks such as guard duty or patrol? The first answer that would surely come to mind is train of course. In a world as harsh as that of a ninja, one must always strive to get better if they wish to survive. So they do this by finding people to practice with or simply find a spot where they can train alone and perfect the art of being a ninja. That would be the most logical thing to do. Unfortunately the Kaguya found that somewhat all too boring, especially the training alone part. If he were training, he either needed someone to kick their ass, or have someone kick his ass. The former was just fun, but the latter was the best way for one to grow and learn from their mistakes or downfalls. But as of late, the majority of the pickings to spar with were on the side of getting their ass kicked by Kotsuzui. Maybe that's just because all the ninja stronger than him had more important matters to attend to than training with him. Or maybe the number of powerful ninja in the village was simply on the decline.  Whatever it was,  it felt like the was a power cap within the village. Like a void. It largely had to do with the sudden disappearance of the Hokage with him disappearing along with the Kazekage.  That's when everything felt like it was going down hill. But his replacement felt like someone who could put things back together, fix the situation, until she up and left as well. Now there were essentially two Kages in office. Lady Hokage Ayumi, and the deputy Hokage Risako. Kotsuzui was still surprised at the fact that his former sensei, Ayumi, was now acting Hokage of the hidden leaf village. He felt a range of emotions upon such news. Contempt, proud, yet sorrow. He was happy for Ayumi that she now held the highest position there was in the village and the honor that came with such position. He was proud that his former sensei was now the Hokage of the village and that he had the opportunity to be a student of hers. However there was a lot that came with the position and it wasn't all sunflowers and daisies. She must have a lot on her shoulders at the moments and Kotsuzui did not envy her for it.

But we're getting a little of track now. On most days off, a ninja takes the time to perfect their art and better themselves. Well, not Kotsuzui. He usually spends his times drinking, which was a large contradiction to his goals as a ninja. His number one goal was the protection of his family. Back in his early Genin days, family was really just his mom. But he has grown since then and the word 'family' has now grown to encompass the entirety of the village. Home wasn't just the house he lived in. The village was his home. His number one goal was the protection of the village. But he sometimes got side tracked with his love for sake as well. Many may judge him for it, as they very well can. Many could also assume it was a coping mechanism to deal with some of the horrors he has seen, which in a sense could be totally justifiable. But if that were the case, they'd be wrong. Kotsuzui has been drinking for a very long time now, probably a little too long. He simply does it because he loves it, no simpler way to put it. Was he an alcoholic, possibly. Did it interfere with his job as a ninja. No. Well, at least not yet.

On this morning, like many others and many more to come, Kotsuzui awoke with a pounding headache.  With his upper body completely hanging off of his bed and his lower body still managing to keep him from completely falling of the bed, Kotsuzui gingerly pushed himself back onto his mattress. While doing so he accidently brushed a few empty bottles of sake laying on the floor, evidence as to why he has a massive headache. Turning over onto his back entangled in his bed sheets, Kotsuzui slid his hand up onto his forehead as if it would help ease the pain. It felt as though someone were playing the drums inside his head. Every morning he would ask himself why he put himself through such treachery and pain. But usually as the day went by memories of the previous night would flash back to him and then he remembered why. Also, he simply loved sake. On the bright side he has never gotten sick from consuming too much alcohol or thrown any of it back up. So he could deal with the annoying headaches in the morning. Besides, whenever he got some food it usually solved the problem. So that was going to be his first order of business. He needed to get this rough, gaunt taste out of his mouth. He was dehydrated and he could taste it in his mouth.
Nearly crawling his way out of bed, Kotsuzui slipped on his usual attire. Long white pants, a white jacket and his large white cloak so drape over it all. Like always, he let his feet bare. He preferred to have is feet free as it also helped him in combat. He was quite adept with the use of his feet. He could probably write a letter holding a pencil just as well as someone could with their dominant hand. But I digress. He checked his fridge to see if there was anything there to eat. Luckily he found a basket of apples. Grabbing two, he shut the fridge and made his way out, biting into one apple while slipping the next into his pockets. The moment he stepped outside of his place and closed the door, he was greeted by a man standing directly in front of him. The man was thin, dressed in all black like he had just come from a funeral. His hair was grey and slicked back into one point behind his head. His glasses were small and square, making his head looking even thinner. He was tall though, and his posture impeccable. But he simply stood there with his hands behind his back, looking down onto the Kaguya.

"Can I help you" Kotsuzui said before taking a bite from his apple and fixing his pink mohawk.

"Kaguya Kotsuzui, you have been tasked with a mission" he said, straight to the point as he swung his arm out in front of him revealing a folder.

Still chewing on his apple, Kotsuzui took a hold of the folder having yet to open it. "Can I even get in a breakfast..." Kotsuzui thought to himself but was mentally interrupted as the man continued speaking.

"An outpost of ours on the border of the fire country has been taken by four missing ninja listed as C ranked.  They killed all but one of our ninja who was able to identify them. You are tasked with taking the outpost back. In the folder holds everything you will need. Leave now and you should make it by morning" he finished.  Just like that he turned and began briskly walking away.

"What are the orders on the missing ninja?" Kotsuzui asked before the man was too far away. But the man basically ignored the question as he left and went on his merry way back to whatever funeral he came from.

Finishing his first apple, he tossed the remains away and proceeded to opening the folder to reads it contents. First was a map showing where he had to go. The outpost was south of the village, which didn't seem that far. Why would it take him until morning to get there? Looking up into the sky, Kotsuzui realized it was well past the afternoon and soon approaching evening. He just realized it wasn't morning and that he had pretty much slept all day.  He flipped over the picture of the map to reveal a sheet of paper which pretty much explained what the man had said but in greater detail. A menacing grin spread across Kotsuzui's face when he read that only one needed to be brought back for interrogation. The other three would be up to Kotsuzui to decide what happened to them.  The paper finished by stating they were likely to stay there until backup arrived before they proceeded further into fire country territory. Kotsuzui was tasked with taking the outpost back before backup arrived. He flipped through the remaining sheets in the folder, each one containing information on the missing ninja and a picture of them to match. He only briefly went over them, knowing he'd have more time to do so on his way there. Closing the folder and slipping it into the inside of his large cloak, Kotsuzui began eating his second apple as he made his way to the villages south gate. Upon arrival, he informed those on guard duty there his purpose before leaving the village and entering the vast forest surrounding it. Tossing the remains of this apple away yet again, Kotsuzui cleaned his hands on the front leg of his pants before heading down the road in the general direction of the taken outpost.

Outpost Takeover [P] Empty Re: Outpost Takeover [P]

Wed Aug 23, 2017 12:40 am
[Sorry for the length, i've been working on this for a while. Just me completing the mission]

As he ran through the forest the Kaguya kept to the main road towards the taken outpost. It would be the quickest way to get there. He would only come off the main road for two reasons: the first would be to set up camp for the night and the second was once he arrived within 100 yards of the outpost he would go into the woods for cover. For now he bolted down the main road as fast as he could not paying any mind to those he passed by on the road. He passed by many people on the road. Some were clearly shinobi of the hidden leaf village as they contained the same head guards as Kotsuzui. Only Kotsuzui did not wear his on his head, rather he wore it as the buckle for his belt. Others he passed on the road were merchants, either selling their stock on the road or carrying them towards to village in order to sell them there in the markets. Whom ever they were, Kotsuzui paid no mind to them.  He however did take breaks here and there to regain his energy and even purchase some food when hunger found its way into the Kaguya's stomach.  He took a moment to sit down on the floor and lean back against a tree to eat the dried and salted meat he had just bought. While doing so the merchant took the time to speak to the young Chuunin.

"Where you headed young sir" the lady behind the food stand asked him.

Kotsuzui looked up at her after ripping a piece of meat with his teeth and began chewing on it. He probably shouldn't be disclosing information about his mission to random people he passes on the road. For all he knew she could be someone working with the four missing nin scouting out the premise on the way to the outpost.

"I'm taking a personal vacation" he answered, throwing in another piece of meat into his mouth.

"That sounds nice. There isn't very much south of here though young lad" she answered.

Shit, she must be onto me the Kaguya thought now being paranoid that this lady may actually spying for the missing nin. Before his thoughts went mad and took over him, he quickly shook it off as madness. There's no way she was a spy.

"I have a secret spot I go to and clear my mind" he quickly answered. Was that really the best he could come up with? "I must be on my way now. Good day" he nodded as he got up from the tree and quickly headed back down the road. Let's hope he didn't just fuck up the mission. Though on the bright side he only sensed a small chakra presence from her. Either she hid it very well or she was simply a regular civilian.

The sun quickly began to set, slowly slipping its way below the horizon of trees . With every passing moment the sky grew into a shade of orange basking the area in its glow. The sight itself was quite breathtaking. The Kaguya never did get use to seeing the sky have such a vibrant glow to it and thus always enjoyed it when he could. But it also meant that night time was fast approaching and he would need to find shelter pretty quickly before he got dark. So he proceeded to veer off of the main road and into the surrounding forest. Finding a neat spot directly under a large tree, the Kaguya began collecting any rocks he could find. He placed the rocks in a circle using them as the border for the fire pit he was in the process of making. Next he took as many broken branches, twigs and leaves he could find to use for kindling the flame. Next he moved on to looking for logs, though there weren't very many broken trees large enough to act as logs laying around. Kotsuzui was forced to break branches off from the trees themselves. With the help of chakra beneath his bare feet, the Kaguya climbed up a tree and began breaking branches off with his bare hands using his own natural strength to do so. With every branch he broke he dropped them down to the ground. Eventually he broke off enough to create two bonfires, which was more than he needed but better to be safe than sorry. Jumping down from the tree besides all his makeshift logs, Kotsuzui began placing them on top of the kindling setting them up to look like a mini hut. However before he got his fire going he was going to have to go hunting for his supper.

Proceeding deeper into the woods, the Kaguya moved silently from tree to tree in search of his supper. He came to a sudden stop as he felt the vibrations of a heartbeat passing through the ground, up the tree and into his feet. Due to always being barefoot, the Kaguya learned to feel vibrations from all around him. These vibrations allowed him to paint a picture in his head of everything within the surrounding area. With the current vibrations happening all around him, the picture he got was a rabbit eating, hiding in a bush just below where Kotsuzui currently was. Not even needing to see the rabbit with his own eyes, Kotsuzui knew exactly where he was in the bush.  Hanging from the side of a tree, Kotsuzui pointed his right arm directly aimed at the bush. Closing every finger into a fist except his pointer finger, the Kaguya pointed the finger directly at the location where the head of the rabbit would be.  Waiting a few moments to receive more vibrations and get a better reading on the rabbit's location, the Kaguya fired a bone bullet from his pointer finger. The bullet pierced right through the bushes and into the skull of the rabbit. Kotsuzui knew his kill had been confirmed the moment he could no longer feel the vibrations from the animal's heart beat. Hopping down beside the bush, Kotsuzui knelt down and pushed the branches aside to find his kill. "Sorry, but a man's got to eat" he said as he grabbed it by the feet and walked back in the direction of his fire pit.

Upon arriving, he sat down under the tree and crossed his legs. Placing the rabbit out in front of himself, the Kaguya created a bone blade which extended out from the palm of his right hand. After extending out the full 3 meters, Kotsuzui closed his palm gripping the hilt of his create bone sword. With the point of his sword Kotsuzui cut a line across the rabbits back creating an opening in its skin. Stabbing the sword into the ground, Kotsuzui continued by digging his fingers with both hands into the gash he just opened. Pulling with both hands, the Kaguya skinned the animal in mere seconds. Before long the Kaguya had the rabbit roasting above a fire he had made. As he waited for the rabbit to cook, he pulled out the folder containing the mission information handed to him by the man with the grey hair. Opening it up, he skipped past the explanation of the mission and the map of the area straight to whatever little information they had on the four missing ninja who took control of the outpost.  By now it had fallen complete dark with only a little light from the shinning white moon being able to break through all the leaves. So Kotsuzui sat beside the fire using it as his source of light while he went through the folder. First up was the one who they believed was the leader of the four. That was pretty much all the information they had on the guy, nothing on his capabilities as a ninja. The next was a female ninja who carried no weapons. They also had no information on any jutsu she may have. All they had on her was that she fought up close, which probably meant she specialized in taijutsu.  That didn't worry the Kaguya at all. He himself was a taijutsu user and he felt confident in his own abilities that he'd be able to deal with her. The third missing ninja was seen carrying two katanas with an array of kunai's strapped to his chest and legs along with a massive fuma shuriken strapped to his back. It was pretty clear he was a weaponry user, which meant he'd also be engaging Kotsuzui in close quarter combat. The fourth and final ninja never engaged in close combat. He had stayed back and used ninjutsu while the other two engaged in close quarters combat. He had also been seen using medical jutsu to heal the wounds of one of their allies. He was very clearly the support of the team, providing long ranged support while also healing the wounds of injured allies. Based on the information he gather, the most threatening to the mission were the long ranged fighter/healer and the leader. Kotsuzi would have to find and take out the long ranged fighter first. He had no idea what the leader was capable of and as a result that made him a wild card and the most dangerous.

Closing up the folder, the placed it back into the inside pockets of his cloak as he moved his attention back to his supper. He had been distracted from his hunger by studying the opposition. But now that his full and undivided attention was back on the cooked rabbit he was reminded of just how hungry he had been with a rumbling growl from his stomach. Grabbing the rabbit off of the fire with the skewer that pierced it, Kotsuzui pulled his bone sword out from the ground and began lightly cutting pieces of meat off. Before fully cutting the pieces off, he would pierce the meat with the point of his blade and yank it off. With his sword as a make shift utensil, the Kaguya placed the piece of meat onto his tongue and began chewing. A little too overcooked, but his stomach did not care. It just wanted food. Piece by piece, slice by slice, the Kaguya ravaged the rabbit until there was nothing left but its bare bones. Kicking dirt onto the fire completely getting rid of it, Kotsuzui now surrounded himself in complete darkness. To be honest he was a little surprised at how dark it got with the light of the fire pit. He had never been out in the woods like this at this time of the night. Walking up the tree he had previously been sitting under, the Kaguya found a long and strong branch to lay himself down on and resting his head against the core of the tree. With his bone sword, he began flossing his teeth with its point, picking out any loose rabbit meat stuck in between his teeth. Stabbing his sword into the core of the tree after finishing, Kotsuzui placed both his arms behind his head as he dozed off to the sound of bugs, critters, and frogs.

Only a few hours at most had past when the Kaguya woke up from his slumber. It was a natural awakening, he woke up from the kick he got because he rolled over onto his side and began falling. The sudden jolt from the kick instantly woke him up as he quickly realized what was happening. A mere second of panic send his right arm swinging from the branch of the tree. He managed to catch it, even digging his fingers into the bark of the tree to strengthen his grip, though accidently done. Swearing under his break, he took hold of the branch with both arms and pulled himself back up. Now the Kaguya was awake and was unlikely to fall back asleep anytime soon. There were still many hours left before the sun began rising from its own slumber. Hopefully it had a better sleep than Kotsuzui did. Pulling his bone blade out from the tree and fastening it in between his belt, the Kaguya decided it would be best to continue on towards the taken outpost. He'd use the advantage of night time to cover his own approach. Judging by how much further he had to go, he'd get there just before the sun began rising or even at the same moment. If he was lucky the missing ninja would be resting with only one of two of them on guard duty. That would make it much easier for him to take them on. With a somewhat full stomach and partially rested, the Kaguya was back on his way towards the outpost.

Traveling through the forest with the cover of night would make it harder for the enemy to spot the Kaguya, but it also added a certain degree of difficulty for the traveling itself. It was difficult to see where he needed to jump to, where he should land, what he should avoid. His eyes slowly began adjusting to the darkness but only slightly helped. For the most part he was relying on the vibrations to paint a picture of the area around him to traverse through the forest.  Jumping and swinging from tree branch to tree branch, Kotsuzui came to a sudden halt. After landing on every branch, Kotsuzui waited just a brief second to pick up vibrations from the surrounding area to get a sense of what was going on around him. This time he picked up on something unusual which forced him to stay atop the branch he was currently on to gain a better understanding of what it was. He closed his eyes in the process as to not be interrupted by the visual scenery around him. He needed his full and undivided attention on the vibrations. Traps. He was picking up on traps set up by the missing ninja to catch anyone coming for them. Smart. So far Kotsuzui was picking up on a couple of traps triggered by wires. The first few were connected to a bundle of explosive tags which would set them off. The second would set off a trap releasing a spray of kunai and shuriken. The final one would bring down a massive swinging tree that they cut down from the side. Kotsuzui was going to have to tread lightly from this point on. Watching every step he took, the Kaguya manoeuvred around every trap that had been set for him. As he had been making sure not to set off any traps, he picked up on more vibrations which brought to light a few more traps they had set up. On the main road they set up pits just below the ground. Upon stepping onto it you'd fall right in and have to deal with whatever was inside the holes. Within the forest, had Kotsuzui been walking on the ground, there were traps waiting to be set off which would release a net trapping the person inside of it. All these traps were meaningless as Kotsuzui had the methods to avoid them. However they greatly slowed his progress down. But it didn't stop him, he just knew he was now closer to the outpost.

After a few more minutes of avoiding traps, Kotsuzui picked up on one of the missing nin who was clearly on guard duty. It was the one with all the weapons. He seemed to be pacing back and forth, probably trying to either spot or sense anyone coming. However with the suppression of his chakra the ninja would never sense Kotsuzui. Also, since Kotsuzui had grown up not wearing anything on his feet, he has learned how to avoid making noise while moving around. He was nearly undetectable so long as he stayed out of sight.  Moving in an arch fashion away from the swordsman, Kotsuzui simply moved around him moving into a range where the outpost was now in sight. It was a relatively large building with an extension to it that expanded upwards almost like a clock tower. Though it was still surrounded by trees, also being connected to the main road. Kotsuzui continued to use the trees to his advantage, using the vibrations from around him to gain a better visualization of the area. Two of them were currently resting in the main building, the female and their leader. The long ranged ninjutsu medic user was in the watch tower keeping an eagles eye out for anything. He was going to have to take him out first, but there was no easy way of doing it. The only way to get to him would be to use chakra, either by scaling the wall of the building or using a jutsu to get him. Either one would notify the one patrolling of his presence due to picking up on his chakra signature. He only had one option, or rather one option he could think of. Act quick and take him out fast. If he could take him out before an inevitable confrontation with the other three occurred, he'd be able to take out their healer which would only increase his chances of success.

Clapping his hands together, Kotsuzui built up his chakra as he vanished from his tree as a blur of lines re-appearing inside the watch tower. The tower had a roof with posts holding it up, but all around it was completely open giving it a 360 degree vision of field making it easier to see around the outpost. The moment Kotsuzui used body flicker, the nin picked up on his chakra and turned around to see the stranger with his pink colored mohawk and his all white attire. Before he could even utter a word, Kotsuzui bone sword found its way into the heart of the missing ninja. The missing ninja's mouth had opened, probably to call and awaken the others of an intruder, but all the escaped his mouth was air. Pulling the bone blade out from the punctured ninja, Kotsuzui let the blood ooze down his sword and drip off the tip as the ninja fell to the ground. The beauty of a surprise attack. Kotsuzui decided to leave the blood on his bone sword as a reminder of what he did to the friend of the others as could feel the swordsman fast approaching.

The swordsman through one of his many kunai through the window of the main building before jumping onto the watchtower and climbing it. It was probably his way of awaking the other two instead of physically doing it himself. It was also a much more efficient way of doing so. Before long the swordsman was standing on the ledge of the watchtower, both swords in hand staring down the Kaguya. Kotsuzui returned to gaze right back at him with a menacing grin. "Sorry about your friend, he picked the wrong time to be on lookout" Kotsuzui said bringing the attention of the dead ninja to the swordsman. He didn't seem to bat an eye at his dead teammate. If he did, he did a mighty fine job internalizing it. Kotsuzui could feel the swordsman's heartbeat picking up with every passing moment. Was it rage, fear, excitement, the Kaguya could not tell. But one thing was certain and it was that he could not stay in this watchtower. He could feel the movements of the other two waking up. It was only a matter of time before they sensed the two chakra signatures in the watchtower and make their way up. The swordsman however was not going to wait and made his move. He pounced forward like a cat swinging both swords outwards. Kotsuzui managed to get his bone blade in between both swords stopping them short, but he wasn't willing to stick around in this tiny room any longer. Hoping back onto the ledge behind him, Kotsuzui dodged another swing from the swordsman by jumping off the ledge down towards the ground. While falling the missing nin followed and jumped down towards him. Since the missing nin used force to push towards Kotsuzui whereas Kotsuzui was simply free falling, he left himself open for attack.  The missing nin reached him before Kotsuzui even reached the half way mark to the ground, swinging one of his swords right for the Kaguya's neck. Kotsuzui blocked the sword with his own, but needed to act quick before the second sword came swinging. With his left hand he quickly shifted two of his fingers upwards towards the missing nin's face and shot two bone bullets right for him. Though the missing nin's reflexes were pretty quick as he managed to get his second sword in the way to parry both bullets. The slight opening Kotsuzui got from the missing nin blocking the bullets gave him enough time to pushed both feet off his chest sending himself to the ground quicker.

Doing a back flip, Kotsuzui landed on the ground and quickly jumped backwards avoiding the missing nin just as he landed in the same spot Kotsuzui had.  Now having a moment for himself, Kotsuzui noticed the other two were walking out from the building and behind the swordsman. "How unwise of you to come alone" the leader said as he walked up beside the swordsman, the female ninja walking to the other side of their leader. "Really?" Kotsuzui would reply, "you're already down one man" lifting his bone sword to show the remaining stains of blood on it. Kotsuzui noticed a switch in the leaders face at the mention of his teammate being dead, the female showing clear signs of anger.  She went to check on the body to make sure he was really dead while the other two remained to deal with Kotsuzui.  "Konoha made a mistake sending only one of you too reclaim the outpost" the leader said as he pointed directly at Kotsuzui. "Maybe they're in short supply of ninja. But after today they'll be down one more." Kotsuzui let out a light chuckle.

"Why don't you stop talking and..." but before Kotsuzui could finish he started feeling a sudden pain in his chest. It was coming from his heart. Was he having a heart attack, here? Now? No, that couldn't be possible, he was way too be experiencing a heart attack. He placed his left hand over his chest squeezing it as the pain intensified. Next thing he knew the swordsman disappeared like dust in the wind. Was that some kind of earth jutsu which allowed him to freely move around as dust? Something was strange however, he could still feel the vibrations from the swordsman's footsteps. He was moving, slowly, trying to flank the Kaguya. Although he couldn't see the nin, he was still there. Then it happened. Kotsuzui felt a sudden tingling sensation start from his head and make its way throughout his entire body. Then it hit him, he knew exactly what was happening. He had been placed under a genjutsu. He wasn't actually having a heart attack, it was all in his head. The swordsman wasn't actually gone, Kotsuzui's sense of sight was simply being tampered with. It must have been the leader who activated the genjutsu, but when? Did Kotsuzui accidently looking into his eyes? Whatever it was, unfortunately for them Kotsuzui had trained his body and mind to alert him his chakra was being tampered with once being put under a genjutsu, hence the tingling sensation. Having also mastered genjutsu release, Kotsuzui  did just that as he canceled the genjutsu without the use of hand seals.  The sudden surge of chakra notified the leader that he was no longer under the effects of his genjutsu. "Now!" the leader roared, in shock of how Kotsuzui managed to both know he had been in a genjutsu and to dispel it. But it was too late by then and Kotsuzui now had the swordsman in sight. He currently had both swords sheathed, but one hand was on the hilt of a sword ready to unsheathe and swing it at the same time.  Kotsuzui quickly jumped over the swordsman placing his free hand onto the shoulder of the missing nin and holding him down where he was. Once landing behind the nin, Kotsuzui took a hold of the nin's clothing and flip him onto the ground. The act of smashing him into the ground caused the ground to crack a bit, along with a couple of the swordsman's ribs. Raising his right hand, Kotsuzui was inches away from thrusting it down into the swordsman's face. But he quickly shifted as to use it to block an oncoming flying kick from the female missing nin. He managed to block the kick, but the Kaguya was sent rolling away with a shattered bone sword.

Coming to a sliding halt, Kotsuzui stood up tossing away the hilt of his broken bone sword. The female nin helped up the swordsman, with his cracked and broken rips it was difficult for him to do so on his own. The female confirmed the death of the one in the clock tower as she balanced the swordsman on his own two feet. It was pretty clear that any fighting from him would worsen his injuries or simply get himself killed. As it stood, him being the most wounded but not yet dead made him the most viable option to bring back to Konoha. The other two, free to kill. Reaching behind his head, Kotsuzui popped out his own spinal cord and took it in his hand. In one swift motion he both pulled out his spin as well as replaced it with a new one. He now held his spin own spine in his right hand as a sword. With surprising speed, Kotsuzui swung his spine releasing it into a whip as it wrapped around the leader's body multiple times, being much faster than he could move. "No more genjutsu's from you!" Kotsuzui roared as he pulled the leader towards him. Instead of stopping the leader once he reached Kotsuzui, he simply let him fly by. as a result the man flew past the Kaguya and smashed into one of the trees behind him. The leader hit the tree sending splinters of bark everywhere before crashing down onto the ground. Whether he was dead or knocked out Kotsuzui was unsure, but there would be time to check on him later. Now was the time to deal with the two others.

The female looked extremely concerned for their leader, which she should be. He could very well be dead. She informed the swordsman to go check on their leader as he clearly would be incapable of fighting. Kotsuzui proceeded to stabbing the hilt of his spinal cord whip into the ground, keeping the tension on it to make sure the leader stayed trapped. Kotsuzui's eyes shifted from the female to the slow moving turtle of a swordsman, back to the female only to see she had assumed some kind of fighting stance. It was unlike any he had seen before, one knee slightly bent with both her hands up just above her forehead.  "Your funeral" Kotsuzui said with a sly grin as he clapped his hands into a special hand seal before taking in a deep breath.  Expelling the air he took in, his chakra fluxed out of control while his skin tone became a darker shade, almost as if he had just tanned for months. Without Kotsuzui having just increased his own physical capabilities, he sprang forward with incredible speed aiming to end this in one swift move. However to the Kaguya's surprise she was able to counter attack with a high shin quick to his head. Kotsuzui managed to get both his arms up beside his face blocking the kick. Upon impact the kick created a large "boom" sound nearly creating a mini shock wave.

Kotsuzui was inches from punching her nose in before she managed to get her kick off. With both hands already there, Kotsuzui grabbed her ankle before twisting his own body and throwing her down onto the ground. But she was more nimble than Kotsuzui though. Instead of simply smashing against the ground she managed to get her hands out in front of her to brace the swing. Right after she performed a front roll while kicking Kotsuzui's hands with her free foot and thus freeing herself from his grip. She quickly got back to her feet and back into her odd fight stance.  She was pretty good, but now it was Kotsuzui's turn to wait and let her make the first move, or rather make a mistake. And she did, coming in full speed performing what seemed to be a reverse of leaf whirlwind. Instead of performing a spinning back kick, she performed a spinning front kick aiming to break Kotsuzui's neck with her shin. Kotsuzui ducked under it, waiting for her to fully spin around. The moment she was back to facing forwards, Kotsuzui's right leg shot up like a cannon smashing her right under the jaw. As a result she was sent soaring into the air. Getting down onto one knee and both hands down onto the ground, Kotsuzui  wait for the missing nin to begin her descent. Once she did, jumped into the air directly behind the female like he was her own shadow. He quickly followed up with Lion's Barrage as he began punching her in multiple spots; back, ribs, shoulders. Moments before making contact with the ground, Kotsuzui smashed his heal into her stomach which evidently smashed her into the ground creating a mini crater for her to rest in. Now standing directly above the missing nin, Kotsuzui could tell she was still alive though barely. Her breath was weak and fading. But he wasn't going to leave any chances. Placing his finger tip onto one of her eye lids, the Kaguya proceeded to releasing a single bone bullet into her brain as a small spray of blood just missed his face. The lack of hesitation to end the missing nin's life almost frightened the Kaguya, until he couldn't help but smile.

Kotsuzui turned over to the remaining two. The swordsman was down on one knee next to their leader. He knew it was over. Strolling over to the two of them, Kotsuzui knelt down beside the leader and placed two fingers on his neck. There was a heart be, extremely feint but it was there. He was completely knocked out. He swiftly raised his other hand catching a kunai out of the air that had been thrown at him by the swordsman. "Thanks" Kotsuzui said as he twisted the kunai in his hand and plunged it into the skull of their leader. "Looks like you're the lucky one buddy, I'm bringing you back to be dealt with by our very special interrogators." Walking up to the swordsman, Kotsuzui knocked him in the face making sure he was unconscious and not causing any trouble for him. Taking extra measures to be safe, he removed all his weapons, even the hidden ones. Unraveling his spinal whip around the leader, Kotsuzui proceeded to wrapping it around the swordsman.  This would make sure he didn't try anything fancy or try to escape. Fitting the hilt of the whip in between his belt, Kotsuzui tossed the man over his shoulder and went back on his way towards Konoha. There was no way he'd be carrying the remaining three bodies. There were a number of things which may occur to them; they might get eaten by wild animals, looters may come by and scavenge them for all they have, or when Konoha sends its troops to reclaim the post they will simply deal with the bodies. They were no longer the Kaguya's responsibilities. All he had to do now was returned to sole survivor and his mission would be complete.

Kotsuzui picked up a light jog as he headed through the forest with the man over his shoulder. He didn't want to use the main road for it may cause concern or look a little too strange if he were simply carrying a man over his shoulder. The downside to traveling through the forest was that the terrain wasn't exactly the easiest terrain to travel through. Though having his breathing taijutsu activated made it a lot easier to do so.  But having the taijutsu active for so long was starting to take its toll on the Kaguya's body as he was forced to deactivate it, his skin complexion returning to its normal color. He put the man down against a tree for a moment to take a small break, realizing he was now awake. "How long you been awake?" Kotsuzui asked the guy, grabbing the hilt of the spinal whip to make sure he wasn't going anywhere. Although to be honest with his injures even if he attempted an escape he wouldn't get very far. The man never answered, only look right at the Kaguya. Kotsuzui simply brushed it off and sat down himself. "What's your name?" he asked, but the man refrained from answering yet again. Shocker. "I'm Kotsuzui" he said, regardless of whether the man cared or not. "You may not want to talk to me, which is fine by me. But don't think back at Konoha you'll be able to get by with this mute act of yours. You'll be torn apart both physically and mentally if you don't comply. It is best you learn how to use that tongue of yours" Kotsuzui finished. He didn't care much for the man, though he just wanted to know the reasoning behind why they attacked the outpost. So he was trying to scare the man into complying with the Konoha interrogators right away. He knew they would get the answers one way or another, but he'd rather get them right away instead of having to wait. If this band of missing nin had reinforcements coming or plan to attack the village, he wanted to know. He needed to protect his home, the village.

After a few more moments of break, Kotsuzui slipped the hilt back in between his belt and began slapping his hands together in a set of hand seals. He was practicing a jutsu and if he could perform it correctly right now, it would save him a lot of time. But he couldn't get it at the moment. So he tried again, and again. But failed each time. For some reason his failure seemed to urge the man to speak. "Jutsu clearly ain't your strong suit kid." Kotsuzui stopped what he was doing for a moment and glanced up at the swordsman. "Being a ninja clearly isn't your strong suit buddy. You lost to a kid four against 1... actually 3 against 1 and lost all your weapons in the process. You're in no position to be talking about one's capabilities." The man chuckles a little, followed by a wheezing cough. Those broken ribs of his must be taking their toll. "If you think i'll be stuck in Konoha forever you're sadly mistaken" he added before turning his head to look away. "I'll put in a request to take your life too once they're done with you" Kotsuzui added before getting up to his feet. Walking over to the man, he knelt down beside him before the man spoke his last words. "Can you smell it, in the air. A storm is coming. Better batten down the hatches, it's going to be a wild one." Not entirely sure what the man was going on about, Kotsuzui simply proceeded to whacking him across the side of the head knocking him out yet again. He would have some serious brain damage before he arrived to Konoha if Kotsuzui would have to keep knocking him out. Flipping him back onto his shoulder, the Kaguya began making his way back towards Konoha. Only he started off by walking. He did so because he continue with the set of hand seals he had been practicing before. It was an extremely difficult jutsu to perform, but an extremely useful one at that. He knew if he could complete the jutsu he'd have this mission completed in a matter of moments. So he continued trying, this time clapping his hands into the final seal before completely disappearing along with the man over his shoulder.

Kotsuzui took a few more steps before coming to a sudden halt when he realized he was no longer in the forest. "What the hell?" Kotsuzui said a little thrown off guard as he began looking around. He was in the middle of a street, in Konoha.  It took him a few more moments to gather his bearings and get a grip of where he was. He soon realized however that he was standing directly in front of the Hokage's building. His sudden appearance had shocked a couple of the locals and as a result Kotsuzui was met by one of the Konoha ninja. "I need to take this man over to the interrogation offices. He's one of the men who took over our outpost." The ninja spotted his Konoha plate across his belt and informed Kotsuzui that he would show him the way. It wasn't that far from his current location. Upon his arrival, he handed over the swordsman to a couple of people who would likely be the ones interrogating the man.  Kotsuzui informed them that he'd be back to see what kind of information they got out of him in a few days and they seemed perfectly ok with the statement. It was itching at the back of his mind, why had they taken the outpost. But no reason to break his head over it. He was given a slip of paper which was proof of his completion of the mission.  Kotsuzui left and headed over to the Hokage's building. He walked up to the secretary and provided her with the paper. She smiled and told him to wait a moment while she went to retrieve his reward. Minutes later she came back with an assistant following behind her carrying a bag of what could only be his ryo as a reward. Kotsuzui was never in the business of being a ninja for the money. He was in it to protect the village and those who meant the most to him. But he was also in it for the power, to become stronger as a person. With this money he could both help out his mother as well as purchase items to aid him in his task of keeping this village safe from the storm.
