Capture the Outpost (Private, Nk)

Things seemed to happen so quickly within the village hidden in the leaves, there was always something that seemed to be happening. A person who summoned a rampaging monster here, a person stealing some secret village information there. It was hardly a surprise anymore that there was someone knocking on the girl’s door just so that he could hand her another packet with some mission details. Kirino took the message from the ninja with minimal words. Apparently the messenger ninja had grown accustomed to handing Kirino news of a difficult mission as he said sorry before running off to give someone else their mail.

Withdrawing the papers Kirino looked them over it said A-rank, so it probably wouldn’t be as difficult as the previous two missions. That was an up at least and it also said who the team would consist of. Another genin named Orokana, a genin named Ayame, and a chuunin named Queen. There was also one last name on the paper. A genin named Kirino. The white haired woman just stared at her own name. Well they know I’m a genin at least, so I don’t get difficult missions because they think I’m a chuunin. As the girl continued to read her face contorted into a frown. ”I have to find these people why didn’t the chuunin get this first?”

After a quick shower Kirino was out the door, she had met Ayame before so she decided to try and find her first. Kirino asked a few leaf ninja if they would know where any of the people on her to find list lived. It would seem that the ninja was able to point out on a map where each shinobi lived. At the training grounds Kirino looked around for anything resembling a house or cottage, but saw nothing. This is where that ninja said she lived. Looking up Kirino saw the girl laying in a branch with her pet Nita. The bark around the branch had been worn from usage and the girls belongings were around the tree. Is she living in this tree, we can't have that there are predators. "Hey Ayame, we have a mission here is a mission packet. Meet us by the village gates in an hour!" After making sure the girl had received the message she would head in the direction of the next genin's.

After leaving Ayame’s place Kirino rounded a corner and headed into the direction of another leaf genin named Orokana. Knocking on his door, Kirino would knock and wait for someone to answer. Once she was certain that it was Orokana she was speaking to Kirino would hand him one of the packets. ”Meet us at the gates in an hour.” The girl would yell as she began to run towards the house of the leader of the mission.


When Kirino finally found the residence of the chuunin named Queen she knocked on the door hoping someone would answer right away, after all Kirino had said to meet in an hour and about three-fourths of that was gone now. The girl then waited for someone to open the door.

Ayame was shaken awake by kirino's soft bell-like voice. It was early. Aya stretched as the girl talked and rolled off the branch to hang upside-down on it my her knees, waking her up. "Thanks Kirino" She said Yawning, and opening the note to read it.

As Kirino headed off, she yelled to be at the village gates in an hour. Aya nodded and yelled back, "Right, I'll be there!" It didn't give her much time to bathe, but she managed, and changed into a fresh set of clothes after washing hers in the water with her, using the rocks to scrub it clean.

Nita Enjoyed herself in the water so much that she didnt want to come out, but with a firm warning to the rat, she listened and jumped in the towel to be dried. Aya had no good way to track the time, so she left when she had felt like it had been half an hour.

Ayame and Nita both raced to the gates, hoping they would be early instead of Late. She leaned against the Jonin Checkpoint and waited for the others to arrive.

Orokana heard the knock. he was already up cleaning and cooking. he may not look it but he likes to clean a lot. he is not a not freak, but he makes sure his home is always nice and ready for company. he was in shorts and a white t shirt. he took the package and nodded to kiri. he walked to his table and reviewed it. she he was meant to go get an out post back, invaded by 4 ninjas. hmm. aya was on this mission as well as this new kiri person, and a new person named queen. oh boy. he felt so excited he almost wanted to not go. but he was going to have to go. he picked up his katana and grabbed a quick snack for breakfast. he got his normal clothes on and put his coat on. he fixed and adjusted his katana on his belt. then he left. he started his way to were he was told to be. these new people, he felt like one, what was her name, kiri wouldn't be so bad, it was the lady that gave him this news, and she didn't seem like the annoying type. but queen was it? she sounded like someone he will trying to not get annoyed by. he sighed just thinking about it. people were stressful. but its just for a mission, it will be fine. plus if her and oro don't like each other they wouldn't want to meet. yes. perfect. he could never talk to her again. plus queen. the name was similar. wait was queen the name of... yes queen was the name that jace wanted him to butler. well that died for he never got a reply. but never the less she shouldn't know who he is. he will just pretend not to know her name and her connections to jace, less he knows the less of a head ache. he was getting close to the gate. he saw aya there. she was always early. good. maybe he could relax himself with someone he knows before the new people take a toll on him. might be a nice start to a new day. then as oro got close to aya, only a couple of feet. he said to her "hello aya, nice to be working with you, I'm glade my health is in your hands." he tried to say as nice as he can. he had no idea what she can and cant do as a medic, but meh. he stood next to her and he waved to nita with a wide smile. he liked nita she was kind a cute, and was quiet. that was the best part. "do you know kiri and queen, I'm getting stressed meeting new people and I'm worried they will be loud." he said while sighing. in the back of his mind he noted he was getting more. whats the word he was looking for. friendly, yes friendly would work. which was good in a way, but also scared him a bit.

Continuing to knock Kirino stood at the door of the mansion for what had seemed like minutes. She tapped her foot and stared blankly at an invisible watch hoping it would slow down time, so that she wouldn’t be any later than she already was. When someone had finally a middle aged gentlemen cracked open the door clearly disgruntled by all of the banging that the pale skinned girl had been doing. ”I am very sorry, but is Queen Yamano in? I have very important documents that I need to deliver to her.” The man looked at the papers briefly before opening the door a little further. ”Miss Queen actually had left quite a while ago when she received a mission packet much like that one.” After saying goodbye and closing the door Kirino sprinted ahead towards the village gates.
 
Ahh, I really hope they didn’t leave without me. Why did this mission ask for me to search out everyone if they were just going to tell the chuunin anyway? Either the system in which missions were given was flawed or the village really didn’t enjoy the Kaguya’s presence. It had to be one of those things and maybe that was the point if Kirino were to not show up for the mission, she would fail and be forced to leave. If that was indeed the point though they were certainly going through hoops. Besides why would they give out such high profile missions to someone they planned to kick out. With all of that in mind the missions must be an accident that would eventually sort itself out.
 
The problem with being new to the hidden leaf village was that it was hard to know who people were. She had already forgotten the face of Orokana, who she had only spoken to briefly before running off and she didn’t know anyone by the name of Queen Yamono. So while heading towards the gates Kirino was only looking for one person Ayame Nezumichi. Stopping at the gates the teen looked around no sign of the two she told to meet her here. The girl continued looking around until a ninja who was guarding the gates approached the girl. Looking at the violet head band it seemed this guy was taken in by the girl’s charm or maybe it was something else as he placed his hand on her shoulder. “Are you the new genin who gets all of the top – secret missions?” He asked as the girl just looked around for anyone who could be listening. ”No and aren’t ninja supposed to keep things hush-hush?” With that she would move away from the man and approach the other guy at the gate.
 
”Hello have you seen a Queen Yamono, around sir?” The man looked around placing his arm behind his head. ”Yeah, they were here about five minutes ago with a group of ninja about her age. They left apparently saying the last of their group would show up. I am guessing that is you.” Kirino nodded. ”That would be me, could you point me into the direction they went?” The man pointed and Kirino was off kicking hard against the ground to use the taijutsu body flicker, a move that increases your speed, with tremendous power behind the legs. The feeling was like when a bullet exploded from its casing, which is what Kirino had heard anyway, this however was more like a bunny hopping.
 
Continuing to attempt the technique throughout the woods Kirino found herself lost within the terrain of the gigantic forest. ”I may not know which route they took, but I know where they are going.” Looking at the map to the guard tower Kirino realized she was on the right path. So the shortest direction to the place is this way, but I don’t want to get there too early and face all of these guys by myself. I should probably take another route that will get me there but not too quickly. Heading off of the main road into the woods Kirino tried to use the body flicker once more adding an additional foot to kick off from, the just seemed to be effective at enabling someone to move briefly. It was however very difficult to do anything else like use an attack, as if the speed rush was all that your body could take.
 
Moving through the forest outside of Konoha the Kaguya noticed a group of bandits. Likely serving as scouts for the missing nin, they also seemed to be talking about a guard tower they had just captured. As it would seem the group had yet to notice her, so moving stealthily between each tree she got close enough to rush the first one. ”Dynamic Entry!” she yelled planting her foot into the back of one of them throwing him face forward into a tree. Getting into a stance for taijutsu Kirino waited for the bandit’s reactions. They both drew their blades and slashed at the Kaguya, but this was something she wanted a chance to use bone armor in combat. As the blade’s neared Kirino changed the bone structure of her arm’s making the radius and ulna bones of each arm grow and cross like a vice grip which trapped the swords. Then as the two attempted to pull their weapons from her grip she flipped knocking both weapons from the bandit’s hands and kicked one in the face and hit the other low. ”Leaf Whirlwind!” Then as the body dropped her other leg kicked the man in the chest sending him flying on top of his partner. ”Leaf Hurricane!” It was then she noticed the blonde she had met on both s-rank missions and Ayame, plus the male she had encountered this morning Orokana.
 
Running out of the woods using the body flicker Kirino began to wave the group down. Assuming they hadn’t heard the scuffle even though it was so close and even with her yelling out attacks. When she was closer she looked over the members of the group before giving them a rundown of what just happened. ”I found some scouts for the missing ninja, there are likely to be more. Oh, I left the bandits alive.” The words made it clear that if the order was given that would be changed.

AS oro approached, Aya smiled. He was so adorable with Nita. "I'm glad that you trust me with your life" Aya said softly, and then as oro explained the reason for his apprehension, she responded, "Kiri's really kind. I'm not sure how loud she is but if you tell her to quiet down a little politely, she probably would. As for Queen, I have no idea who she is, but i hope she is nice." Aya then quietened noticing another approach.

Aya nodded at the question queen had asked. "Yes I am Ayame Nezumichi, It's a pleasure to meet you, Queen. It is a bit odd of a name, but then again Ayame isn't very common either" She joked trying to lighten the mood a little, softly smiling.

Nita, on Aya's shoulder, had leaned foreward to get a whiff of Queen. Then, all too suddenly the group was off, running into the forest and following Queen closely. When Queen explained the mission Aya's face looked a little worried and sad. "Do we have to kill them? I mean, we could arrest them all..." She trailed feeling a little upset. She then explained her skills. "I am a Medical Ninja and I specialize in healing and protection. I don't have many jutsu, though. I can summon koi fish if needed."

Aya sighed and then started to answer for oro, knowing he didnt like to talk. "Oro and I are on the same team led by Jace Uchiha. He's a genjutsu specialist and he has a lot of powerful jutsu. Trust me, I've been caught in one before. He's very talented at it, more so than i am with medical jutsu. I would describe the both of us as pretty cunning and we work together well." She waited for oro to speak if he had anything else to add to it.

Then Ayame broke off to say, "I am actually a very good strategist, I have played chess from little on and I'm good at finding ways around things and such, so If you need help with that, I am available."

Then Aya heard a familiar voice and slowed as Kiri approached. She then leaned in and whispered, "Hey be careful around oro-chan he doesn't like loud noises." trying to be very polite for both oro and the girl. She then straightened up and looked around wondering what was going to happen next.

Orokana didn't say anything to queen, he simply watched her and the others. then as they started running towards the mission he heard aya talk about him. "its not loud noises aya its loud people, yes I'm not a fan of loud noises but loud people is what I think you mean." he looked at kiri and queen. he didn't know what to think of them yet but they didn't annoy him much. he felt his katana jiggle on his belt. "i also know some fighting styles with a katana, but yes genjutsu is where I specialize in." and he didn't answer ayas question, it was directed at queen our lead for this mission so Orokana ignored it. "i could put them all asleep or make them see nothing but darkness, either way I doubt they can get out of my genjutsu. which means you, queen, and kiki can go for the kill, while aya stays back with me, if there's need I will jump in and help, but aya cant fight, she doesn't know much offensive techs and she doesn't like killing." which he didn't judge her for it. some people cant kill for there better judgement or for there nature. probably why she became a medical ninja, not to end lives but to save them. he didn't know queens or kiri's stories but he guessed that queen and kiri could fight the front lines while he can support them from behind and also keep aya safe from harm, most ninjas will go after the medical ninja first for she's very weak in there eyes, plus aya wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight, depending on the ninja's they fought. "unless you have a better game plan queen, or anyone." he didn't know if someone thought about what they should do but he thought this would be the most likely chance to win the battles. this wasn't the first time he killed people on a mission and he shouldn't have a problem now. the first time caught him off guard and he was panicked. but this time he wont be. he waited till either queen or kiri said something to continue talking. but if he was honest with himself, he was worried about aya, skill wise she would be fine in most cases, but in killing he didn't think she could kill some one in a battle. but he will wait and see how she reacts. if she could she could, but if she cant well this will be a very long and tough day for her.

The blonde taijutsu would give a quick glance to Ayame when she made a remarked of her name being an odd name. The joke would fall flat as no response came out of the Chuunin. Her eyes then quickly shifted to the rat that rested on her shoulder. It made Queen feel a bit uncomfortable that she had a rodent so close by. As long as it didn’t touch the blonde, she would have no reason to kill the disease infested creature. “Do you think they spared our men?” Rei asked the girl known as Ayame, “They killed the guards and are probably torturing the last. We only need one to interrogate.” The girl would need to learn that the life of a ninja was not one to be taken lightly. People died, it’s just the way it was. It was either your life or theirs; and showing an enemy mercy was showing weakness. The girl would learn one day, most likely the hard way.

The girl briefly explained the duos abilities before bringing up Jace Uchiha, the girl’s lover. Queen was surprised to hear her speak his name before she remembered that he had picked up a team of Genin. ‘so these are the kids he got stuck with?’ The blonde said to herself before letting out a quick sigh. The blonde listened to what the kid had to say about his own skills. He should have stopped there because next, what came next only hit a bad nerve for the blonde mission leader. “Listen kid, I don’t know how Jace run’s things, but I am leading this mission and I call the shots.” Her voice was stern as she continued to press forward towards the objective. Her eyes flicked to the right as Kirino, the white haired girl who Queen has been paired with before had finally joined them. She gave the Kaguya a quick nod of acknowledgment of her presence as well as to her report. Unlike Orokana and Ayame, Kirino had already gained the respect of the young taijutsu prodigy which was no easy task. “I hope you at least tied them up…” Queen asked the white haired girl. It was probably not a smart move to leave the knocked out bandits on their own. Who knew if they would just wake up to report that the Konoha squad were on their way. “If there is even a small chance that they can regain consciousness and wake up, double back and finish them off.” She reported to Kirino, and would take a quick moment for her response.

Once that issue was settled, Queen would continue to discuss the strategy for reclaiming the outpost. “Okay, here’s the plan. You were off to a good start Orokana, but there are a few gaps.” She began, acknowledging the kid’s efforts to forming a strategy. Queen wasn’t a complete bitch after all. “You and I are going to head in first, with Ayame following the rear. If you are even of Quarter of Jace in terms of Genjutsu, most of them should fall under your genjutsu. The rest, Kirino and I will take care of while Ayame secures the hostage. It should be a quick in and out.” She reported as they were quickly approaching the outpost. “Move in!” She commanded as she quickly activated her bloodline and sped through the front entrance at a speed of 120 with her team right behind her

Assuming that Orokana had done his part of the plan, the Genjutsu would be form rather quickly before any of them could have a chance to realize what was going on. Rei would take care of the missing ninja closes to the hostage, sending a quick jab right into his gut and sending a wave of spiritual energy into his system that crashed his chakra network, knocking him right out. “Ayame!” She yelled out for the girl to come in and grab the last living guard of the outpost.

For all intents and purposes of giving everyone something to do, Two of the guards we able to successfully break out of the Genjutsu that would be casted while the third would be under it’s effects. One of the unaffected criminals would charge the Genjutsu user at a speed of 70, pulling back his sword before swinging it in a horizontal arc in an attempt to chop the boy in half. The other one would go for Ayame once she headed towards grabbing the hostage. Queen only being a few meters away could easily have apprehended he individual who was running at a speed of 70 with a katana in half in an attempt to live the girl just like the other missing ninja was going to do to Orokana, but she wanted to see what the Genin could do. If Kirino or Ayame failed to stop the man, she would step in before it was too late and finish him by grabbing the hilt of her sword and performing a quick draw that would slice the man in half at her full speed, the blood splattering all over the medical ninja once it happened. Reality was tough.

The outpost

”Oh, he doesn’t?” The white girl asked as she waved to the male she had met this morning. Looking over him briefly he carried quite a few weapons, a sword one of the main things she had seen. The Orokana, began to go over his specialty in genjutsu. So he could stop these rogues from knowing what hit them, Ayame specializes in nijutsu so ranged attacks are more of her style. Queen and myself are taijutsu users, so that puts us in the front. Queen, will probably issue commands for something of that nature. Herself and me up front, Orokana in the middle and Ayame up front.


Then Orokana began to tell his strategy to the group it was a sound plan, those that will kill up front. Cast genjutsu, leave the innocent no killing Ayame in the back, the plan was sound. However, the response that the chuunin had given was over the top. ”Be nice.” She said softly next to her multi-mission companion. ”I will kill one of the targets, whichever side you enter Queen I will enter the other and take out the enemies on that side. There are a total of four with one living guard who needs immediate extraction. Also, Orokana could you put everyone up there under a genjutsu. In case the hostage isn’t a hostage." Kirino felt the need to put that information out there, in case they hadn’t had time to read through their packets.


”Didn’t have any rope, but I knocked them out.” If someone offered a way to tie them up at this point Kirino would take the binding material to tie them up, if no one offered however, Kirino would nod at Queen’s remark about taking them out. Then the white haired girl would stand over the still unconscious men and force her arm to take the shape of a massive bone like spear. Then separating the legs of all three individuals she would slam the bone across their legs listening to the snap as each one cracked. Well at least they are alive and they can’t run off.


Catching back up to the group she returned with a smile, as if she hadn’t done anything wrong, but on the inside the sound of shattering bone began to dig into her skull. ”I broke their femurs, they won’t be waking or moving anytime soon.” She whispered to the squad leader hoping it would be enough to placate the girl’s worry of them escaping.


When their leader said charge Kirino sprinted forward while growing a massive white bone like spear. Then while keeping pace she waited for Orokana to catch them all in a genjutsu. When all four were motionless Kirino jumped to the side opposite of Queen and stabbed the spear through him blowing a gigantic whole through him.



(The what if story, because I don’t think they can wake up. Oro’s genjutsu should stop them.) If the two men managed to escape the genjutsu, the white haired Kaguya would wave her gigantic arm, dead body attached backwards sending the lifeless corpse towards the man attempting to assault Ayame. (Speed whatever I can throw a body at.) And then would take up a defensive posture next to the hostage, but not before seeing if he was also an enemy. If I were a bad guy I would expect the rescue attempt and hide the hostage while transforming into him.

Aya looked downward, thoroughly pissed off with that peasant of a 'queen'. her jaw started to shake as she tried to withhold her words. She spoke angrily, but softly with her teeth clenched. "The way you're leading us we're no better than them. " she was very blunt and enunciated clearly. "You wish us to be savages instead of the bigger person. Fighting fire with fire only burns yourself, and I hope you get a hell of one. It seems that's the only way you know how to learn. Your heart is full of hatred." Aya could feel that from the glare queen gave her rat earlier.

Aya let herself fall back provided that she didn't have to defend herself any longer and spoke fondly of her and Orokana's sensei. "Jace leads us well and has respectable boundaries an morals from what i can tell. He's the epitome of all Senseis and you happen to be the exact opposite." Aya stroked her rat that now climbed up to the top of her head in an attempt to calm her owner.

As soon as Kirino arrived, aya slowed down and as soon as she heard that the bandits were not dead, and queen wanted them to be, she stopped dead on a branch, and without thinking turned to head back the way Kirino had came.

When she arrived, she froze, looking at the men lying on the ground and peacefully breathing, as if they were only asleep.

Aya's anger only continued to build, and build in a way that she felt she could barely control herself. "That self-righteous bitch" Aya whispered under her breath about their chuunin leader before being alerted to Kirino's presence via Nita.

She spun around quickly. "Kirino, it's just not fair..." Aya whimpered trying her best not to cry. "I'm ready to just pull my hair out and quit being a ninja.. nobody told me that i would have no choice but to kill. I was told i may have to but not that i would definitely need to and also this soon after genin graduation."

Aya wished to help Kirno take out the men but she needed a few minutes to cool off.

(Her presence, I hope, will stop Kirino's leg smashing for time-being. Also not going that far into the future sorry.)
