A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]
Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:35 am
Mission: Matrimonial Bliss
A letter had come in for the young Kaguya inviting her to something that was a new mission coming up and as the details read it was something really nice as well. There were Shinobi wanted to support a marriage between a Shinobi who was teaching at the academy and a lovely lady daughter of a well known merchant in town. Why they were called in to attend this kind of place was, because the two very defined fractions in Hoshigakure who were either pro Shinobi inside the village and the ones that were strictly against them were obviously already doing everything in their power to just save their poor village from spreading some harmony between them. So as it seemed they were kind of set to drive the two lovebirds apart so that this wedding would never take place. It was rather likely that at the day of the wedding there would be one bigger attempt to crash it so they wanted Shinobi to be there for the bride and groom in their time before and during the wedding until they left for their honeymoon. This was some way off and there they would be perfectly save for the moment but there was this time window from Bachelors night till the I do's that would needed the cover and this was where she came in. This time as the partner was one named Kenshin Uzumaki. Sanae did like the thought of meeting someone new because this potentially meant a new friend and as it seemed he was appointed the team leader, which gave away, that he was more experienced than her, which was even better. Someone she could observe and learn from while they were doing something good for the future of this village. But something was worrying her a little the letter also said something about formal attire for attending the wedding. For sure to better merge better with the other guests and not for them to stick out like sore thumbs but still she could not imagine herself in a gown.
Gladly there was about five days until their services were needed so there was time to buy something kind of fitting for a wedding and kind of go through with her father what situations she would need to anticipate. While she was on such a mission and he started to train her more carefully by repeatedly sneaking up on her just randomly throughout the day and attacking her so that she almost grew paranoid around the house constantly checking everything for traps and such. This came to a point when she did not even feel save in her own bed. But a day before the Wedding he stopped the harassment of her so she could relax and sleep through the night without fear. So fresh and able she was getting up that day awoken by something quite unusual, breakfast in bed consisting of pancakes, syrup and some hot chocolate, maybe this was his way of saying sorry for tormenting her so much over the past days but she truly knew that he did not do it to hurt her but more or less take care that no one else could be hurting her. So after this formidable breakfast she was taking the backpack she had packed the day before and a special casing for the dress she had to take along of which she still thought it would be better to just loose it somewhere along the lines but well what they wanted they should have and they wanted formal attire. Maybe it would get broken or something well who knew.
The place where this adventures party would take place was the bride's home since her father was well of and they had much space there. It was a kind of luxurious home with a big main house in the shape of a rectangle that had a quite big terrace in the middle of the house marking the centre and a nice, but kind of big garden going around the house. Neatly cut hedges and blooming cherry trees. Around a pond with expensive Koy fishes one could see workers putting up pavilions for the party that was anticipated and there was also a transportable dance floor laid out, a DJ's desk for music a big grill for the dinner and what not. This seemed to spare no expense. Sanae who had been nervous about this mission all along was kind of in a hurry, even if she did not need to. When she arrived she had still a lot of time left to slay with something so she looked through the gate at the preparations and noticed, this whole terrain was a pain to watch over. On this ground it was easy to find cover to hid behind or walk around unseen or at least unnoticed because it was so huge. This house and garden were a nightmare as to say for one who wanted to have everything under their vision. So now she was bound to wait for her mission leader to arrive.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

Kenshin would release a small hum of interest as he read over the description of the mission that he had just been assigned. Apparently one of the Chunin that taught at the academy was getting married to the daughter of one of Hoshi's wealthier merchants. This union of Shinobi and civilian was obviously quite important to the higher ups of the shinobi side of the village, as it served to represent the changing of the times here in Hoshigakure. But of course news of this union was not exactly taken well by some of the other factions within Hoshi's walls...in fact, a good deal of said faction’s were downright appalled by the very notion. This was especially true for most of the religious factions, who openly expressed their disgust at the very idea of such a union and outright refused to perform the marriage ceremony. Thankfully the higher ups of the Unseen University had foreseen that very reaction from the churches, and called in a group of wandering priests of Haven that were on very good terms with the Shinobi of Hoshigakure to perform the marriage. This of course only served to further infuriate the protesting religious groups, but in the end they were powerless to stop the group from blessing the ceremony.
Of course the higher ups in the Unseen University were not about to take any chances with this marriage, so they had installed a few countermeasures just in case some of the factions tried to stop the marriage in any way. Kenshin was of course one of these countermeasures, and the other was a relatively fresh genin by the name of Sanae Kaguya. He wasn't exactly sure why a Genin had been chosen to take part in an A-rank mission, but then again the mission wasn't exactly going to be very dangerous, so that was probably why. Either way though the silver haired young man wasn't one to question his orders...unless they were downright idiotic. This particular order wasn't idiotic though, so he wouldn't try to protest about being forced to go on a mission with a fresh Genin, he just hoped that she would prove to be even somewhat competent.
All in all this was sure to be quite the interesting mission, as none of the parties that were seeking to prevent this marriage from taking place would be making obvious moves. No, this mission would actually involve a great deal of stealth and cunning, as everybody involved in this little scheme would be making covert moves during the party...it would almost be like a game of chess, only there were real people's lives on the line...oh how glorious this would be. Of course due to the fact that this mission would be taking place during a formal party both Kenshin and Sanae were expected to be dressed in full formal attire, but despite what one may think that actually did not bother the half blood Uzumaki in the slightest. No, surprisingly Kenshin actually enjoyed wearing formal clothing, thus why his usual outfit consisted of an off white coloured, button up dress shirt, a black tie and a pair of black dress pants. Of course he usually wore a long sleeved black trench coat over those clothes, but that didn't change the fact that he still wore formal clothes as part of his regular outfit.
Kenshin would take a look at the invitation to the party that came with his mission orders, an incredibly tacky thing in his opinion, but then again who was he to judge it. Apparently the wedding itself is being held in exactly six days, but he was to arrive at the groom's house in five days time to ensure his safety during his bachelor party...ugh, just great. At least he wasn't going to suffer alone though, as Sanae would have to do the same for the bride on the night of her bachelorette party...but then again maybe the Genin would actually enjoy it, who knows.
Over the next five days Kenshin would go about his life as he normally would, training daily and then making his way to the village labs in either the Unseen University or the Hospital. The only change he made to his daily schedule was taking some time out of one of said days in order to buy some new clothes that he could wear for the wedding itself. He wasn't too concerned about what he would wear to the bachelor party, as that was not exactly going to be a formal situation, so he could really get away with wearing anything.
On the night of the bachelor party Kenshin would make his way over to the groom's house, loud music and the cheers of what sounded to be drunken men filling his ears the moment he got within earshot. He would release a small sigh as he knocked on the door...he really hoped that this Sanae was feeling as annoyed as he was right now, it wouldn't be right if he had to suffer alone.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

After some moments of waiting she looked at her instructions again and well there was the invitation to the bachelorette party and the time when it was about to start. It was some time till then, but then she could have a quick look around the perimeter. So she walked up to the gate and rang the bell. Soon there after a servant had come to the gate and as she showed him the invitation she was let in and escorted into a living room where the soon to be bride and her parents where welcoming her. There and under the watchful eyes of their own home security she confirmed her identity as Shinobi of Hoshigakure and that she was indeed Kaguya Sanae who had been suspected to come here. Maybe that was why it was her to go on this mission it was kind of hard to face a clans abilities, especially if they were visible traits like her bone manipulation, which she of course demonstrated. So the short talk ended with her saying that she would have a quick look around and then would never leave the side of the young lady again until she was married and would not let her out of sight until she was in her honeymoon. So the young Shinobi took a quick skip through the garden her speed being of good help with that and then returned to let the bride show her around the most important rooms.
As the two of them were entering the bathroom the bride suddenly smiled kind of deviously. Then she opened her mouth and said something that would determine Sanaes dreadful fate for this evening: "You will be posing as a distant cousin of mine that nobody knows. But to be fit for my party we need to have some changes made", she then grabbed a box opening it on the counter to reveal several blushes, eye colourings, rouges, powders and other means to paint faces or kind of torture a woman that did not think natural was not enough. Sanae took a shaky look at how the young lady was kind of measuring out her face and had already started to select colours to go along with it while she was going on about that she would give her something fun to wear and it would be so funny. Sanae just stood there like frozen in her track while her face was painted until it looked like porcelain and any breath of live hat vanished from it.
She returned to this world as the woman said: "Come with me", and dragged her along in her room where she had her try on several clothes until she found something rather short, but since Sanae seemed to be a little small for it, the length was actually okay for the time being. Not really accustomed to wearing dresses with short skirts like that she found herself tucking on it every now and then in the hopes it would go down a little further. While they were eating a kind of civilized diner she would kind of act like she wanted to try a bit of everything so she could test if it would be bad for the bride to be, but thankfully nothing was deadly amongst it so she could keep on playing the almost adorable small cousin that was more than happy to attend the big girls party. While at first it was a quiet get together the ladies soon would start some horrible drinking games in which all would part take in Sanae being the exclusion since everyone agreed she was just too darling to spoil her that way.
But the party progressed further and while they were playing some unfunny version of hitting a piñata with rather questionable filling like lots of protective stuff to enjoy the part of being married without already becoming a parent or even worse. Things to, how did they put it, spicing it up in the bedroom, although Sanae would not use any of this to season something to eat. As this was going on the friends and brides maids placed the bride onto a chair and then there he was. Surly rated attractive from the reaction of the bridesmaids but for Sanae the only thing she could think of, what he was doing here. A young man had entered, maybe in his late twenties, dressed in a kind of uniform that could resemble and anbu's ensemble. Anyone who knew a little of Shinobi would see it as a fake but it seemed only to be for acting purposes. Sanae was still kind of unsure what this theatre was all about while the man was kind of hovering above the lady more and more undressing and then there was a kunai, the blade kind of reflected the light in the room and this is where she started hurrying towards the man and as he hit down with the kunai she had made it far enough to block it off.
"Nice try", a kind of hiss formed from the Kaguya grabbing him by his ear and taking his Kunai pointing it towards the only region of his body that was still covered in clothes. "Let us decided that this is the time you leave, you are not invited", she said more grumpy than she wanted to seem but then pulling him out of the room and handing him over to the guards at the door in front of the room asking them to escort him out. Having that problem out of the way she was happy that the ladies were so drunk already and therefore not really grasping the situation but giggling about it. Being the only one to keep track of time she knew when they would need to get to bed for the bride being able to at least get some rest. So at one point she was just carrying around a totally hyper but very tired and very drunk bride to her room. Sitting on a chair various parts of her body connected to a chaos of Yarn threads covering the room she sat on a chair resting. No one could sleep that way, but she needed some kind of rest to live through the next day.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

Kenshin had to resist the urge to scowl as the door wasn't answered after his knocks, but then again with how loud the damned music in the house was it was no wonder that he had not been heard. That wasn't even getting him started on the noises the the houses inhabitants were making....surely these fools were damaging their vocal chords by screaming and cheering so loudly. Well, at least it wasn't all bad...he would be getting paid for his suffering once all of this was said and done. With that thought in mind Kenshin would knock on the door once more, although this time he used a lot more force, making it easy to hear the pounding on the wooden door even with the music blasting from the inside of this damned house.
When the door was pulled open the head of a rather flushed looking young man popped out of the gap in the door, catching sight of the scowling teen that was standing there with both arms crossed. The relatively young man would take in Kenshin's casually dressed form, the younger of the two being cressed in a simple long sleeved black shirt, grey pants and a relatively worn pair of leather boots on his feet.
"Umm....can I help you?" the brown haired amn would ask as he looked at Kenshin, a small scowl of annoyance plastered on his face, almost managing to mirror Kenshin's face perfectly.
"Yes, I am one of the shinobi tasked with ensuring the success of this wedding. The groom was notified that I would be here tonight, so if you need confirmation of who I am just ask him" Kenshin would explain, getting a look of realisation from the man.
"No need for that, I'm the best man, and he made sure to tell me that you would be coming, in fact, I have been waiting for you" the man would say, promting Kenshin to raise a silver brow in obvious confusion
The man would in turn sigh at this action "Look kid, Tadashi, the groom, said that I wasn't allowed to drink until you got here, so hurry up and get in, I want to get drunk already" he would say, promting Kenshin to smirk a little. Honestly, he wasn't sure why the man wanted to drink, he looked like he needed all the brain cells he could possibly get, not kill the few that he had...but then again they did say ignorance was bliss.
Kenshin would uncross his arms and place both of his hands inside his pockets as he walked through the door. As soon as he did so the reason for the cheers and the hoots from outside became obvious, as there was a semi naked women in the middle of the room, and she was currently dancing in what he supposed what was meant to be an enticing manner for tthe man sitting before her. If the albino had to guess he would say that the man in the chair was the groom, based solely on the fact that he was the one that the half naked women was dancing for. Well, so long as the man didn't do something that could endanged his marriage, likke sleep with the women, Kenshin didn't really care what he did...ugh, great, he was actually being fored to babysit a drunk Chunin....think of the pay Kenshin, think of the pay.
The silver haired albino would watch as the best man went over and whispered something to the seated man, who Kenshin was certain now was the groom. The man would look over to Kenshin and give a small nod, getting one in return from Kenshin before he turned his attention back to the stripped before him. Good, he wanted as little to do with Kenshin as Kenshin wanted to do with him, if that was even possible. From that point Kenshin would just stand in the corner of the room and watch over the party like a hawk, not taking a drink of any of the many 'beverages' that had been provided, nor any of the food. Honestly he knew that all of said food was extremely unhealthy, and he wanted absolutely nothing to do ith it...and the drinks...ugh, it was as if they didn't know that humns could actually die from alcolhol poisoning. In the end though Kenshin knew that tomorrow they would all have splitting headaches, and he was happy in the knowledge that the groom and the best man, who was now trying to get a bit handsy with the sripper, would be suffering from splitting headaches for most of the wedding itself.
He truly did have to resist the urge to smirk as the stripper slapped the best man when he wouldn't take no for an answer, but what happened next caused his eyes to narrow in a mixture of anger and annoyance. Apparently the best man did not take kindly to being slapped like that, and he grabbed hold of the womans arm and began to both squeeze and twist said limb in a way designed to cause her a great deal of pain. Great...this is why he didn't really like hanging around with drunken shinobi, they tended to do some very stupid things, in fact, that was why most of the bars in Hoshi actually employed shinobi as bouncers, because in the end they knew that even a drunked shinobi could deal with regular bouncers with next to no issues.
When the scream that left the womans mouth reached Kenshin's ears he would release a small sigh of annoyance and begin to move, honestly, why the hell wasn't this guys fruends dealing with him right now. No matter, if they wouldn't reign him in then Kenshin would, not because he cared about the woman, because to be completely honest he didn't care about her in the slightest. In fact, the only reason he was intervening was because he wasn't exactly sure how the higher ups of the Unseen University would react to something like this happening on his watch, and he didn't really want to take any chances.
The silver haired Chunin would grab a fistful of the clearly intoxicated mans hair and pull back, illiciting a yell of pain from him as he released the stripper and tried to grab Kenshin himself.
"Drunken fool" Kenshin would utter to himself as he easily evaded the drunken mans grab, before kicking his legs out from under him and slamming his head into the floor, knocking him out cold
"Go on, get out of here, I'll make sure you are properly compensated for your silence on this matter" he would say to the stripper, who quickly nodded as she began to gather her clothes.
Once the woman was clothed...or at least as clothed as she could be, she fled the premesis, and Kenshin could only hope that her greed would be enough to keep her mouth shut.
Ugh...great, now the drunks were yelling at him for letting their entertainment for the night go home early....just...fucking...great.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]
Thu Oct 19, 2017 6:40 am
She had sat there for a while dozing in the chair tied to more strings than a puppet she could not really feel sleep coming on. Each little noise woke her from her light slumber. A sound from about because someone stepped on a creaking floorboard. Then there was the meowing of a cat or two who were fighting in the garden in front of the window. She just hoped her colleague did have a better night although when she suspected the men would be taking it a bit wilder and more annoying. At least she got some time of quiet and somehow relaxing even if a little bit tied up at the moment. She woke up again as it was turning morning and the sun crawled over the horizon to greet her with her rays tickling her nose. Since the Kaguya was awake before the bride with most caution she disarmed the tread trap she had planted and rolled the threads into balls again before there was a gentle knock on the door. Slowly she walked over opening the door to the maid of honour the lifelong best friend of the bride. "The breakfast is coming", she whispered and Sanae nodded to her and she went off the get the other girls because it was planned to have the bride eat in bead while they all acted like this was any other day to not have her nerves go all crazy. The Shinobi did not care what she was now pretending, since nothing she did here was what she would usually do. So now she threw on a pyjama and turned her hair upside down roughing it up just as if she had slept all night.
After some time breakfast was served, eggs, bacon, canapés and a plate full of pre cut fruit like apples, peaches, melon and oranges set on trays around the huge bed while all three brides maids, the maid of honour, Sanae and the bride where sitting on it and ate. They were chatting about stuff Sanae did not know of. Some old stories they had experienced together and what they already been through together. While Sanae was biting into a slice of apple she could see something lurking in the garden in front of the window. She rubbed her eyes and yes there was someone creeping about. So she set down her tray and said: "I need some fresh air, I won't be long." It really had come to this, in pyjamas she was walking out to the terrace and stretched out yawning then walking a bit right to get out of the parties view. As soon as she was sure they did not see her, she bolted towards the people in the shadow.
Swift she reached on of the huge rosebushes on was hiding behind who was somewhat scared that someone came after him. A man with a backpack how curled into a ball by the sign of a threat. A little bit of grabbing and shaking made him reveal that they were not after the bride, but rather after the dress, the notion being that if there was no dress there was no wedding. In his backpack she found a rope with which she tide him to a tree and went on to the room where the bride was to change in her wedding dress later and no second too late. There were already two others dangerously close to the gown but since they were just annoyances and not trained assassins they were kind of easy to take out and she handed them over to the houses own security and made them take care of the one left as well then walking back to the breakfast.
They were almost done with eating and afterwards everyone was getting ready in the brides room from which Sanae just came from. Everyone looked a little confused when she put pants on under her dress, but then she kind of came up with the lame excuse that in stories the clumsy one always gets stepped on the dress and the skirt comes off and she did not want to be in underwear when that happened. Funny it was that they would show much understanding to that kind of story and compassion for her struggle with this fear. The maid of honour then took it to heart to help her get her makeup and hair fixed which seemed to be a mixture of sculpturing, arts and crafts with a little bit of strange magic put into it. She hated all this pulling and painting and what not, but the more she hated it the more it seemed the other ladies tried to convince her this was a nice idea and they were having so much fun with it, she could not really understand why, but well there were toys based on painting other people's faces. After that they got into their dresses and then there came the hardest task for the day.
Assuring the bride she looked perfect or even more than just perfect without getting her to hyped or nervous. She had many worries on her mind, if her husband was really going to wait for her at the venue or what if he found a more beautiful woman last night. What if he got drunk too much and did not show but Sanae was quite sure that with another Shinobi watching nothing of that sort would happen but well even she was yet to meet him. When everything was set and done they slowly got to the gate of the house where a few carriages were waiting for them. One carried her parents and grandparents, the other aunts and uncles, the next was for her and the bridesmaids where Sanae overly exited asked if she could ride on the driver's seat because she had never seen this before and who could say no to a pretty young lady? Right no one. So while she acted as if everything was so interesting she was actually looking around for anyone unusual to come close to the carriage while they were riding it. But as it seemed the way towards the temple where the venue was held was clear although the priests that normally held services there must feel a certain grudge. So in the end they reached their destination safely.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

It truly was taking all of Kenshin's self control to not simply kill these drunken fools and move on with his life. Yes, doing so would result in this mission being labelled as a failure in both Kenshin and Sanae's files, but damn if it wasn't a tempting prospect. Honestly it would be so easy for the stitched and scarred albino to massacre these fools, each and every one of them was too drunk to even see straight, let alone defend themselves from whatever onslaught of attacks that Kenshin could unleash upon their sorry asses. As one of the drunken men got even closer to Kenshin and began to scream directly into the albino's face something within Kenshin simply snapped under the pressure. Suddenly it became all to clear to the Chunin of Hoshigakure...why the hell was he putting up with this bullshit, no amount of pay was worth having to deal with this. He wanted to make these men suffer...and suffer they would, consequences be damned.
Kenshin would first deal with the drunken fool that had just starte screaming into his face, his breath was nothing short of an assault upon the silver haired Chunin's senses. His right hand would shoot forth and grab the man by his throat, the action causing him to begin spluttering and coughing as Kenshin began to tighten his grip upon the mans neck, slowly but surely crushing his throat. Unfortunately for the choking man his friends took Kenshin's actions as a signal to attack, their drunken minds no doubt making them believe that because the silver haired Chunin was outnumbered they possessed the advantage...oh how wrong they truly were.
As soon as it became clear that the drunken fools were indeed trying to attack him the sober Chunin's eyes would gain a cold glint, and a dark smirk would form on his face...the poor fools had finally managed to unleeash the beast. With but a thought the threads that called Kenshin's body home would heed their masters commands, shooting forth through the albino's snow white skin and into the body of the man that he was currently choking the life out of. The threads would pierce through the flesh and bone within the mans neck like a hot knife through butter, emerging from the other side of his leck with a small burst of blood. This action would of course make the drunken men who had been charging at Kenshin mere moments prior stop in their tracks, their glazed eyes opening wide in a mixture of shock and horror.
They had not been expecting the stitched and scarred teen to actually kill one of them, and that in turn made them question whether or not fighting him in their current state was a good idea. But...unfortunately for the grooms party, once the beast within was unleashed it was next to impossible for Kenshin to reign it in before it's thirst for blood had been quenched, so while they were questioning their actions the beast would make it's move. With speed that none of the drunkards were able to follow the silver haired albino would seemingly vanish, only to reappear before one of the other, less important members of the party. Once before said man Kenshin would grab hold of his head with both hands, and roughtly jerk it to the left, the bones of his neck giving a massive crunch as a result. Once this had been done the man would collapse lifelessly on the ground, his rapidly cooling body giving some twitches and spasms as the three remaining men looked on in horror.
By this point all of the drunkards had realised how truly dangerous the situation they were in was, and as such they began to scream and yell for help as they turned tail and ran. Two of them were headed for the door, whilst the groom himself was running for one of the windows....but unfortunately for all of them, th beast had no intention of allowing it's prey to escape. With but a thought the pitch black threads that lived within his body would shoot forth, impaling both of the men running to the door through the backs, piercing them through their arms, legs and torso's, piercing through their organs and bones with next to no effort. The me would scream in pain as their bodies hit the floor, as the beast had not been merciful enough to kill them instntly...oh no, he was going to let them bleed out slowly, spending their last moments on this earth in mind numbing agony.
The groom himself, Takashi if he remebered correctly, was the last to fall. His screams for mercy and his cries of pain were music to Kenshin's ears, and by the time he was done the man was nothing more than an unrecognizable lump of meat. The room itself was covered in the mans blood, and so was Kenshin himself. The dark, maniacle grin having never left his face for even a moment as he enjoyed the slughter of his prey...oh how truly glorious that would be. But uinfortunately for Kenshin, his little vision was broken by the stench of the screaming draunkards breath. Ugh, if only he could actually get away with doing such a thing, because then he would go through with his previous vision in but a heartbeat. But no, for now his imagination would have to suffice, for that was all that was, Kenshin imagining what he would do if he could actually get away with killing these fools.
"If you drunken idiots don't cease your incessant screeching I will hurt you..." Kenshin would say in warning, his silver pupils glowing lightly as his anger began to take over.
"Ha! Yeah right kid, you have to protect me remember!" the groom would say, slurring his words quite heavily as he did so
"Actually....I think you will find that my mission actually has nothing to do with protection. You see...my mission is simply to ensure that you get married tomorrow, it says nothing about the state you have to be in as you get married" the red and silver eyed youth would say with a wicked grin plastered on his face.
The grooms glazed and unfocussed eyes would widen as his alcohol addled brain finally managed to process Kenshin's words....the damned brat was actually right, all he was expected to do was make sure he was able to get married.
"Uh...I was just kidding aroound with you man, who needs that stripped whore when we've still got more to drink!" the man would exclaim, his words starting out as obviously forced, but seemingly instantly turning into actual belief as he realised that there really was still quite a bit left to drink.
Thankfully for the sake of Kenshin's sanity it would only be around twenty minutes before all those that were still concious passed out from the alcohol, he truly wasn't sure how long he would be able to hold his desire to kill these idiots back.
The next day Kenshin would wake each of the drunken idiots up by turning the still incredibly loud music back on, something that caused each and every one of them to hold their heads in agony. ahh, how sweet today would actually be, watching each and every one of these fools suffer for their actions last night.
And so it was that Kenshin would escort the groom and his party to the wedding venue, a smirk of satisfaction plastered firmly on his scarred face.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

Sanae was sitting on the carriage looking around like a little girl in astonishment and smiled a lot. Partly it was not acted it was a day to be happy. While the carriage was slowly swinging back and forth from side to side its final destination coming closer and closer with every passing minuet. It was not as fancy as it should be one of the bigger temples would have suited things better than this small praying pavilion of some sorts. It was out of stone at least and it had tall pillars to hold he rounded roof that was shimmering in the sun lightly golden. Blooming vines were everywhere around and magnolia trees showered everything in a white soft pink. If it wasn't that needlessly corny it could have been nice. So regardless Sanae waited until the carriage had stopped and then walked up to it looking in: "Everything fine?", she asked inside in a toned down manner. She got a reassuring yes as answer and as she opened the door she would assist a really shaky bride to come out of the carriage with at least the minimum amount of grace. After her the bridesmaids wobbled out in their sweet matching pink dresses and once again Sanae was happy they did not have one her size. Well making it fit her height would not have been a problem, but well she did not tell on her ability to transform so why start now, especially since they looked ridiculous.
The bride had snapping breath as she looked around to find her husband to be, but as she could not immediately find him she was turning to panic about it. Sanae signed while shaking her head, maybe he did part take in another unwritten wedding rule that was counting on the groom making a big entrance via coming too late. While the maid of honour gently massaged the brides shoulders her mother came over handing her a stunning arrangement of roses as a bridal bouquet. This and the support of her mother seemed to calm her down a little. A little on the sidelines Sanae could see her favourite teacher Mizumori Takeo who was arranging Academy students in unified clothing, obviously the choir providing the music note to everything. At least one man in this whole thing she would not need to be worried about. He did not mind her mother being a mere commoner without any shinobi ties at all. So now she was looking around the perimeter t to maybe spot the missing groom and is groomsmen.
Above all she was curious as hell to finally meet the Chuunin she was doing this mission with. It was kind of crazy right now if something happened they would not ever have had time to coordinate their actions in the slightest. She was used to think for herself and she was used to have her father bark useful commands at her like he was punishing her for something. But just to do the right thing without something to set the line what was right, this was new to her, but okay, she would learn to deal with it, as soon as it came up. While the mother was walking to the seat placed around the gazebo like building the father stayed with them waiting for his cue. Then a bit further off but not that far away here was someone or something coming and Sanae would bet everything she had on the hope that this was the groom. Telling the bride about it, it at least temporarily whipped away her fears of him not wanting her anymore. But well she was rich, she was beautiful and she had the heart in the right place so why not like her? Sanae smiled a little, she was kind of likable in her own slightly over the top way. On last makeup check even she could not evade before the two parties would meet up.
Sanaes eyes were resting on the albino. He was standing out amongst them. His outward appearance did seem rather unusual but it was not that frightening but kind of reassuring. She did not know what fight he fought that he needed to be stitched up like that but this made him relatable, since even if most people tended to forget so easy, she would be fighting pulling out her own bones and the process of it had for a long time scare her enough to leave it just all together. So when she saw someone else like her marked by the kind of work they had chosen to do she did not feel disgust or fear, just maybe a tiny connection and sympathy, since it was good to never be alone. Slowly she nodded.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

The silver haired youth known as Kenshin Uzumaki could only release a small sigh of annoyance as he continued escorting the group of hungover men towards the wedding venue.
'Why must I suffer so much for this one damned mission?' the stitched and scarred albino would find himself wondering.
He had assumed that the group of hungover men would simply suffer through their hangovers in silence....oh how wrong he had been. Why it was almost as if the five men did not know how to shut the fuck up....because they had been doing nothing but complaining about their pounding heads and the heat as they made their way towards the wedding venue. Kenshin had been more than a little surprised that the men had actually given him enough time to head back to his house to get dressed for the wedding...at least until he realised that they had only let him do so because he lived in a room he was renting from one of the villages inns. In the time that it had taken for him to put his wedding clothes on the men had gone and ordered some food, to help with their hangovers they had said...and since Kenshin was not about to waste his chakra on healing these cretins he had simply allowed them to eat. All the while hoping beyond hope that the bride did not simply leave during the time it took these....swine, to finish their meals.
Thankfully the five men seemed to eat as fast as they drank, because the meals were actually finished in only around ten minutes...but then again they had also taken around ten minutes to prepare, so they were at the very least twenty minutes late. And that wasn't even taking into consideration hoe long it would take them to walk to the venue from here...ugh, at least this damned mission was almost over.
Thankfully the venue wasn't too far away from the inn that Kenshin called home, being only around a fve minute walk, but that didn't make the five minutes any shorter, as the men were still complaining about their damned pounding heads. He supposed that would teach them a lesson about drinking so much....but he knew that they were more than dumb enough to go and do so again and again. He was more than a little proud of the massive bruise that had formed directly in the centre of the best mans forehead, now if only he had been able to do the same to all of the others...that would have truly made this mission worth it in the end.
As Kenshin and the grooms party got within sensory range of the venue the snow white skinned Chunin would be able to fele the chakra signautre of who he assumed to be Sanae. She actually possessed a rather substantial pool of chakra, half the size of his own in fact, and that was more than a little impressive to Kenshin, who knew that he had quite a large pool of chakra. In fact...she actually possessed more chakra than this fool of a Chunin that he was escorting to the wedding...that was a little sad actually.
It wouldn't take long for their arrival to be noticed by the people waiting at the venue, and almost as soon as it was a small crowd of people emerged. One of whom was obviously the bride, based entirely off the pure white dress that she was wearing. He would then assume that the ones wearing matching pink dresses were the bridesmaids...and the one who looked just as uncomfortable as he did would have to be his parter, one Sanae Kaguya.
Kenshin would make his way over to the girl, giving her a nod of acknowledgement as she did the same.
Once he was within arms reach of the girl he would simply say one word.

Re: A match made in Hoshi [Kenshin, Sanae]

While the groom was tossed to the front at the small podium where the priest was stationed the bride was taken by her father's arm and as the children started singing and the whimsical procedure was enrolling in front of their eyes Sanae could not quite pull her eyes off the Chuunin who took his place only an arm's reach away from her. As everyone was kind of wrapped up in watching a toddler throw around rose petals or something of that sort for the bride to walk on in a parade like formation with the bridesmaids walking behind her like little chicks would follow their mother the two shinobi were kind of watching from a safe distance. It was a small crowd so easily overseen and the space though being in the city quite open and hard to get by without being detected. As the racket had levelled down a bit because the priest was beginning to recite the verses that everyone was expecting from him she could hear him say exactly one word with a voice that would make a cold shiver run down her spine but then again, this was kind of making him even cooler than he already was. She would shortly think of how to describe what she had encountered but then again all she needed to say was:
"No complications."
No mentioning of anything, because well it was dealt with in one way or another. Her eyes were shortly focusing the bride as they were exchanging the vows and she was smiling like she had so often described it back at her home. While her eyes were drifting over to the man who was to make them sign their paperwork right after they had walked down their isle again. So their work would be over as soon as those madly in love numb sculls had done their duty to sign paperwork. The last wedding she has witnessed had been almost just like this no it could have been this one. Only that her mother was not really that rich so no one would even care that she would marry someone of questionable heritage. She shook away the thoughts as the bride was coming closer. It was almost like begging the clock to go faster so that the school day would end so slow was it that she seemed to move but then she and her husband finally got to the man waiting for them to sign the papers and seal them in an envelope. She signed a little in relive and then bowed slightly towards Kenshin:
"Thank you."
What she meant? Maybe the mission? Maybe that he even took the time to ask about her? Maybe something else. But as the bride then went on to throw the bouquet of flowers into a crowd of lonley young and old maids gathered behind her she threw to fare aiming directly at Sanae who saw it coming towards her, reaching out with her hands and then, simply dodging it with a side step making it fall on the ground beside her, where a hungry horse rejoiced taking a huge bite off of it. And this was where that adventurous wedding ended, at least for the stressed Shinobi.

Kenshin's cold silver and red eyes would pierce through the girl like the sharpest of knives, his voice itself had been clipped and to the point, not a hint of emotion able to be detected within his words. He would not allow the girl to know of the hell that he had been going through since last night, he wouldn't allow her to know just how close he had come to simply running the men through with his threads and blaming the incident on assassins. He would completely ignore the wedding that was happening around the two of them, he completely ignored the cute toddlers that were skipping happily down the isle while throwing flower petals, he ignored the bride being led down the isle arm in arm with her father, he even managed to ignore the leers that the best man was sending the maid of honour.
No, his attention was fixed firmly upon the young Genin that stood before him, patiently awaiting her report on what had happened on her end of this mission.
"No complications" she would say simply, her words themsleves causing one of Kenshin's silver brows to rise in an unsanswered question...that was it..that was her report?
...Good, he really disliked it when people did not simply get to the point of the matter. The girl had wasted none of his time by detailing exactly what she had done when it wasn't important, she simply told him that she had encountered no complications...very good indeed. With that out of the way Kenshin would allow his eyes to trail over everyone that was attending the wedding, they were all enthralled by the spectacle that was going on before them, this 'happy' union between civillian and shinobi, completely unaware of all the backdoor politics that had been going on throughout this entire ordeal.
How sad it would truly be to be one of those sheep, living while completely ignorant of what was happening all around them. Why, if he were one of those people he probably would never have noticed the slight glare that the brides father was sending the Chunin that was currently being wed to his daughter. No doubt he was one of the many that looked upon this union as blasphemy, but unlike them he was willing to put his own beliefs aside for the sake of his daughters happiness.
If the silver haired youth had been of the sheep he would no doubt have also missed the hat two younger looking teens had snuck off to the coat room together...and based on the sounds coming from within were enjoying themselves immensely. Or maybe he would have missed the pickpocket that was biding his time outside, waiting for the party to finish so that he could go fishing through their pockets. Yes...the world would simply be far too dull for him if he was indeed one of the sheep....but then again, if he was one of the sheep then he wouldn't even know that he was missing everything that was going on around him, so he supposed that to them ignorance was bliss.
Kenshin would watch the proceedings quite cosely, not because he was interested, but rather he wanted to be able to leave the moment these two were wed. He had been thoroughly annoyed since last night, and he had quite a bit of pent up anger because of it, so he supposed it was time for him to go home and get ready for yet another hunt. Yes....that qould truly be a glorious way for him to get rid of the stress that had been building from the moment he had arrived for the bachelor party. Ugh, he had forgotten about that stripper...he would be sure to make a note of her in his final mission report, and from there the higher ups would be free to either pay her for her silence in this matter, seal away the memories of the incident...or make her disappear...but then again this incident was nowhere near important enough to do something so drastic, so she would more than likely just get paid to keep quiet.
The young man would release a small sigh of relief when the pirest finally declared the two wed, as that meant that his and Sanae's mission was finally over.
As Kenshin was still in the process of releasing this sigh Sanae would turn to him and bow
"Thank you" she would then say, once more causing one of Kenshin's silver brows to raise...he had absolutely no idea why she was thanking him right now....but he wouldn't ask why, right now, all he wanted to do was go home, and begin preparing for a hunting trip. with all the absolute bullshit that he had put up with over the past few days...well, he outright needed it.
"You're welcome....I guess" the snow white skinned young man would say as a smirk formed upon his scarred face. The smirk obviously being due to Sanae stepping out of the path of the bride's bouque and allowing it to hit the floor, where it was quickly devoured by one of the horses that pulled the carriages.
Well, at least the mission was somewhat entertaining.
With that though, Kenshin would turn and begin to make his way back home, where he would begin planning his trip.
