Everything was going right for Kenshin... until he tried to use his Poison Mist on Hikari... then it simply wasn't. It seemed that the wannabe magical girls surrender was actually false, and she simply used it in order to make him let his guard down. How very devious of her... it actually made the stitched and scarred medic proud of her for seemingly growing a backbone...  but that did not change the fact that he would have to punish her for defying him like this. The moment that his Poison Mist started leaving his mouth a massive gust of wind would eminate from Hikari, pushing the mist itself away from the girl and back into Kenshin's face. He was immune to his own Poison Mist of course, but even if he wasn't his health alone would allow him to completely resist the Pepsis Poison that he had created with his favourite technique. 

As soon as he saw the girls attack he would cement himself to the ground with the Surface Walking technique, which would more than allow him to resist the knockback effect of the girls jutsu. Unfortunately though, almost as soon as the wind had appeared the girl would have disappeared, but the silver haired teen would have easily seen the one handed version of the Ram hand seal that she had formed before her 'disappearence'. 

"Body Flicker" he would practically growl as he looked around for her reappearence. 

Before long she would indeed reappear in his line of sight, the girl having gone in a perfectly straight line away from him. The only problem was that the Fuinjutsu Mistress was roughly 100 meters away from Kenshin's current position... and he knew that the girl had him beat in the speed department. He had to admit, it bothered him a little that most of the shinobi in the village seemed to have him beat in the speed department... but nobody was perfect, nobody was without weakness. He had plenty of ways to completely decimate those who tried to win with speed alone... he just had yet to show them off as nobody had actually been stupid enough to try such a thing. 

Even from this distance the half-blood Uzumaki would be able to hear the almost ear piercing squeal that Hikari began to emit as she began to run back in the direction of the village at a rather high speed. Higher speed than Kenshin himself could even hope to reach without the use of either his Sand Form or a Body Flicker of his own, and even then his Body Flicker while in his base form was not all that much faster than the girls current running speed. Ugh, the chance of him actually catching this damned girl was extremely low... far too low for him to bother actually chasing after her... no, instead he would start to plan out exactly what he could do to her.

As much as he wished to simply kill the infuriating Jounin he knew that option was out of the question, as at this point she was far too important to the village, her knowledge of seals far surpassing any other that he knew of. There was also the fact that she seemed to be rather popular around the village, especially the newer generation of shinobi if today was any indication. Well, there was still quite a bit he could do to make her suffer without killing her... but any methods that involved physical torture would more than likely get him either killed or get him marked down as a criminal. 

That really only left psychological torture, but he wasn't exactly sure what would work best in this scenario. 

As Kenshin absentmindedly made his way back to the village his mind would still be working, trying to figure out how best he could make Namikaze suffer for hitting him with a massive, super powered laser.

And to make matters even worse he hadn't even been able to make the veritable ball of sunshine buy him a new set of clothes for his trouble.

Yep... it was offical, today fucking sucked.
