Ermahgerd finally done (COM)

Fenrir walked uneasily around the village. He was out of his element here, and he didn't like it one bit. Where he was used to the cold, generally damp weather of Kirigakure, here is was warm and sunny, as though the great battle had never even happened. He missed his cold and wet home, but he was beginning to get used to the climate. Personal opinions of Konoha's dumb weather aside, Fenrir had been notified of a grand tournament coming up, set up to pit Kiri's ninja against Konoha's, and he was against the Uchiha he had seen in the battle. The guy was fast, and that would be a serious issue for Fenrir, who, while faster than most of his genin peers in Kiri, was still nowhere near this guy. And so, he would need to train if he was going to win, and he certainly wanted that. He thought about the Chakra Forge, and what he might be able to make with it to help him out in the fight. All he knew about the Uchiha is that they are scary, and their eye lets them "see faster" and use Genjutsu. Since the only way to get faster for him was to train, Fenrir decided that he would use the Chakra Forge to make something to help with the Genjutsu. That would have to wait, as he hadn't worked out any plans for it and, quite frankly, was unsure if he would even be able to. No, today would be spent training instead, something he knew he could do. He had come out earlier in the morning for his training, and was still amazed by the profound warmth. In Kiri, he would be freezing cold right now, but here it was still warmer than he's used to. The training grounds were different too. They had training dummies and a good deal of space, like the ones in Kiri, but the dummies looked different and the space was... greener. That was something he rarely saw in Kiri, not due to a lack of it, but simply because he never went to where it would be found. Here, it seemed to be the dominant color, and he was hardly able to walk down the street without seeing excess amounts of it. Grass all over the place, plants hanging off of houses, even whole gardens! Realizing he was once again getting side-tracked, Fenrir returned his mind to where he was now. Standing at the edge of the training grounds, he quickly went over his plan for the day.
He intended to finish the 2 techniques that he had been training before leaving Kiri for war. Yes, the war, the one that he was completely useless in. Don't beat yourself up about it, you were only mostly useless. After all, you took a kunai to the knee, right? Who knows what would have happened if that thing hit the ground, but your knee saved it. Fenrir heard Red once again announcing his presence in Fenrir's mind, and proceeding to laugh afterwards. You survived a fight with two very strong people, even if they were only genin. You should be proud that you even lived. Somehow, Blue's statement made it even worse, as while trying to point out that he lived, they also pointed out that it was a genin that he was facing, and he was still so much faster than Fenrir. If they got in a one on one fight right now, Fenrir would be completely destroyed. Lucky for him, even if his training doesn't work out he still won't die, as for once Xyxer decided that there is no killing allowed in this tournament. Even so, he needed to begin his training, and took up a stance about 30 meters away from a particularly thick tree. It was just wide enough to fit a portal, and he was confident enough in his ability to hit it once he got his portals to go that far. Quickly forming the hand seals, Rat followed by Hare, Fenrir's left hand moved to hold his right elbow for support as he pushed the chakra out of his palm. After a short period of charging, tiny bits of glowing green chakra coming off of the ball like sparks from a flame, showing his inability to properly control it. Holding for just a second longer, Fenrir released it, launching the tiny ball at the tree. As it flew, it made a faint whizzing sound, unstable and still letting off tiny fireflies of chakra. Before it reached the tree, it popped, letting out a tiny explosion of little green chakra bits. Sighing, Fenrir took up the stance once again, ready to retry.
A number tries later, Fenrir was slightly closer to achieving his goal, but he was still having trouble stabilizing the orb. Every time he tried to make the thing work, it would just become too unstable, exploding before it could be of any use to him. While this did give him an idea, it didn't help with his current situation. He thought about maybe making a jutsu that literally just exploded with concussive force, using an orb of pure compressed space. While this was cool, it was a little too far out of his league for now, and he needed to focus on training this before he could continue thinking about that. And so, he would once again resume his training. In order to increase his ability to focus on the chakra and control it, he decided he would be using an old favorite technique, one learned by every Genin or Academy Student at some point: The Water Walking technique. Using this with a technique, it can help the user work on controlling their chakra, requiring them to focus on both the jutsu and their feet. With this added layer of difficulty, Fenrir thought he might be able to speed up his progress, exponentially improving his chances against that Uchiha. Oh damn dat dam Uchiha son of a gun. Fenrir wouldn't lose again, no matter what. These were the thoughts running through his mind as he walked over to the pond lake thingy, walking onto it as easily as he would the ground. The only difference was the blue glow now covering the soles of his feet, connecting him to the water. From here, he would once again perform the two seals required for the jutsu, Rat followed by Hare. At this point the seals were engrained into his mind, accented by the feeling of his energy being drained by each use of the jutsu. While he was certain it would be useful in his fight, he wasn't so sure he would be able to use it more than once or twice. As he held his hand out, he felt the chakra leaving his hand and flowing into the orb, less than an inch from his palm. Building up energy in the orb, he was almost ready to release, just a couple more seconds. Then, just as he released, he felt something strange. After another moment of this strange feeling, Fenrir realized it was the feeling of wet feet. This was followed by wet legs, a wet crotch (COLD!), a wet body, and finally, a wet head. Quickly swimming to the surface of the water, he began flailing slightly, and yelling a quick stream of expletives. Once finished with this little tantrum, Fenrir crawled back to land, standing up and shaking off. He was slightly pissed, but okay. Once more, he would walk out onto the surface of the water, positioning himself over the shallows. If he fell again, he certainly wouldn't be sinking past his legs this time. Fenrir formed the two hand seals once last time, placing his right hand out in front of him as he built up chakra into his hand. This time, the orb formed almost perfectly, no chakra flew off and it didn't explode. Finally, he released, launching the orb at high speeds towards the ground, roughly 30 meters away. As it flew, Fenrir noticed that it went straight, and seemed to be stable enough to go the full distance. Once it struck the ground, it formed it's purpose. A perfect circle, exactly 1 meter in radius, formed on the ground ahead of Fenrir. Releasing the surface walking technique, he sunk down to his thighs in water, then dropping to his knees. The jutsu had certainly tired him out, that was for damn sure. As he looked at the portal, he noticed the edges beginning to waver, before finally collapsing. He didn't really want it to stay open, he just wanted to learn the damn jutsu and be done with the thing. After this, he began noticing the blackness entering into his periphereal vision, slowly working it's way to the center. He took enough time to get to dry land before passing out, deciding that drowning would be a bad end to his training.
Hours later, a white-haired genin would awaken, his legs still partially in the water from his previous training and subsequent passing out. Sitting up, he would look around. A good deal of time had passed, as well as the sun. If anyone had seen him passed out here, they didn't seem to do anything. Then again, none of the Leaf ninja were likely thinking of training right now, seeing as they had just been through a pretty shitty experience, and would be spending the day mourning or crying or eating or whatever normal people do when they find themselves sad. All Fenrir knew was that he just got a nice rest, and was ready for more training. He was then quickly made aware of his urgent hunger, his stomach practically commanding him to go get food. He looked over at one of the dummies nearby. "You're getting fucked up when I get back." Fenrir would think, not realizing that he had said it aloud. He would then march back off into the village, ready to get some dinner, seeing as he had slept past the usual time for it.
It had been difficult to find a place that was open this late, but once he found one, they were all too willing to serve him. Apparently, there was still some sort of fear effect going on with the residents of the village, and Fenrir did rather enjoy it. He had gotten a whole bowl of ramen for a discount, and free toppings! Ah, the good life. Shame it would only last a couple more days. Maybe they should go ahead and invade a few more villages, it would be nice to have this everywhere he went. Now, back to the training. What was it he was gonna train? Ah yes, the other unfinished jutsu, Great Fireball. It was pretty damn well the best ninjutsu he was going to be able to learn, seeing as he had devoted most of his time thusfar in Space-Time techniques, and was rather pitiful in the specialty of Ninjutsu. Even so, Space-Time was terrible for offensive maneuvers, at least until he got some summons. So, he would be learning how to blow shit up with fire instead, or at least blow a little bit up with a little bit of fire. His progress had been pretty great way back when, and he ought to be able to get it done before everyone else started waking up. Taking up a new stance, this time 20 meters from the dummy he had spoken to earlier. Oh my god, why in the hell are you up so late? Strange, Fenrir was unaware of his voices ability to feel tired. Suddenly, he heard a female voice yawning loudly. I don't mean to be rude, but I have to agree with Red on this. Why are we still here? Dropping out of his stance to address the voices, Fenrir sighed. "We're here so I can train another jutsu, I'm going to be fighting someone who, currently, would easily kick my ass, so we need to train hard and without end so we can actually win. Understand?" I still don't want to be here. Returning to his stance, Fenrir would reply with a rather rude statement that was synonymous with a raised middle finger, but wouldn't be typed out here. Forming the new hand seals, Horse followed by Tiger, then raised his right hand to his lips, his finger and thumb forming a ring around them. He then took in a great breath, filling his lungs with the cool night air, holding it as he built up his chakra in his lungs. Then he released the breath, letting out his chakra and igniting it with his finger and thumb. As he did so, a great gout of flame left his mouth, lighting up the training grounds with a sudden brightness. The flame was nearly as big as he needed it to be, maybe one or two more tries and he was certain he would have it.
One more try and he was one step closer, two more and he was two steps closer, three more and he was beginning to get bored again. On his fifth attempt, Fenrir decided to try and do the orb version of the jutsu, and rather than making a cone of flames, to make a giant ball of fire that would move forward on it's own, pushing whatever it hit and burning it to a crisp. This would be more useful in some situations, but Fenrir couldn't really think of any right now, so he just got right back into the training. This time, instead of forming a ring around his mouth, he pushed both hands forward, acting like it was them propelling the ball rather than just his mouth. He didn't know why he decided to do this, but he knew it definitely looked cooler than the usual way. A large ball of fire was then expelled from his mouth, going the full twenty meters before hitting the dummy and decimating it. Damn. I concur. Fenrir had to agree. He had come to the training grounds, and was now leaving with 2 more jutsu than he had before, along with some nice gains bro. Gettin that chakra workout. Now he was ready to return home, his chakra expended and his stomach once again grumbling. The sun was beginning to rise, and he was ready for breakfast. Heading into the village once more, he was finally done training.
