Re: Team 7's Survival Exercise (P)

Higuto and Allegro both seemed to agree with Jason's plan quickly, adding in their own twists and helpful suggestions. Without any hesitation, the Senju created a shadow clone and sent it underground just as he had explained to his teammates. It was a good thing that he did too, because as soon as the clone was safely tucked underground Higuto's insect barrier that was keeping them shielded from Kinzoku sensei dispersed, revealing a torrent of flames surrounding them. Both Allegro and Higuto were faster than Jason in their reactions to the oncoming attack. The Aburame managed to jump over one of the steel wires before the flames had reached them and then launched some kind of laser beam attack at their opponent. The same time that was happening, Allegro had slammed his right palm into the ground and golden chains emerged from the ground beneath Kinzoku sensei, attempting to wrap themselves around the Jounin's limbs to restrain him.
Of course, while all this was going on, Jason's shadow clone had already made his way through the ground and was almost at the location of Team 7's target: the kunai placed in the ground by their leader. While his teammates were taking care of their ends and his shadow clone was nearing the target, Jason was busy forming the hand seals Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake as fast as he possibly could before running directly into the wall of flames. This might seem like a suicidal attack, but in reality it was just to trigger his substitution technique. The instant he hit the flames, he would disappear in a cloud of smoke being replaced by a single kunai knife. Jason would reappear 1 meter behind Kinzoku sensei at the same time, a spiraling blue orb in his right hand that he was reaching forward as fast as his body would allow, attempting to slam the rasengan into the Jounin's back.

A smile spread across the Jounin's lips when he saw the bugs begin to spread and the bug-egg begin to break apart. whether it was Higuto willingly ending the jutsu or the jutsu running out of time Kinzoku did not know. But either way he knew whatever the trio had planned was about to come at him. He was excited to see what they were capable of and what they were going to throw at him. The moment the bugs had fully dispatched Kinzoku's eyes began to glow Gold as he activated his clan jutsu, Arahant. This allowed his chakra to move more freely throughout his body as well as allow him to act purely on instinct, allowing him to read everything quicker. Now with his Golden eyes he watched as the three Genin began making their move. Allegro and Higuto attempted to time their attacks together as one jump over the flames and closer to Kinzoku as the other remained behind the flames. It was difficult to tell what Allegro and Jason were doing behind the flames, but he could sense a second signature identical to Jason's. A shadow clone most likely.
He'd have to worry about the shadow clone later as chains erupted from the ground beneath him. They were slow enough for Kinzoku to easily keep track of them, but he didn't move from his spot. One chain began wrapping itself around Kinzoku's legs as the other began to wrap itself around his arms in an attempt to full restrain him. Judging by the strength of the chains around his legs he wouldn't be able to break free right away there. But he had nothing to worry about were his arms were concerned. Before the chains could tighten around his hands Kinzoku would pull both his arms apart. With the superior strength in his left arm Kinzoku would rip out of the chains binding his arms and shattering them. His eyes focused back onto Higuto as he was releasing a strange jutsu which created a ring around his hands before releasing a swarm of laser beams in his direction. This strange jutsu must be the Storm Release Higuto mentioned earlier at the coffee shop. Judging by their trajectory he was attempting to completely remove any possibility of Kinzoku dodging them.
Simultaneously, Kinzoku pointed Peacemaker down at the ground ripping the two steel wires from it as his right hand began forming a set of hand signs. Tiger, Hare, Boar, Dog. Upon completion a massive earth wall would erupt directly in front of the Jounin expanding 20 meters high and wide. The earth wall was large enough to block each and every laser Higuto fired and was thick and solid enough to stop every single one. As the earth wall was being created, Kinzoku fired a single bolt down to the ground with pinpoint accuracy as it sliced the chains wrapped around his legs and freeing him. While all this was going on Kinzoku was tracking the two chakra signatures of Jace. Although he couldn't accurately point out their location he could still track their movements. The one underground was still not close enough to worry about only being able to travel at a speed of 40. The kunai being 15 meters away from his starting location gave Kinzoku enough time to react to the clone when the time came.
But for now it was time to deal with the Jason who was now standing directly behind the Jounin. Kinzoku hadn't seen how the Genin had gotten there and to be honest he was surprised at how fast he had gotten there. But Kinzoku was able to track Jason's movements up to his reaction time. Kinzoku anticipated that the Jason behind him would be the shadow clone never thinking that the real Jason would risk putting himself in close quarter combat with the Jounin. Now with the earth wall cutting Jason off from the rest of his teammates only made the situation that much more dangerous. The moment Jason appeared behind Kinzoku he turned his head just enough to see the Genin holding a swirling ball of chakra in his hand. Jason having to close the tiny distance of 1 meter gave Kinzoku enough time to react. Twirling on his right foot as he swung his left leg around to now be facing Jason and being on the outside of Jason's right arm. Kinzoku would grab Jason's wrist with his own right hand just for a second before he pulled and released the Genin right at the earth wall. Using the Genin's own forward momentum, Kinzoku re-angled the rasengan right into the earth wall. If successful the Rasengan would smash right into the wall canceling Jason's own jutsu but the wall standing strong. At the moment of impact Kinzoku would raise his right leg and simply push it forward into Jason's side. The kick was done in one clean emotion avoiding any sudden strike and breaking anything. Though it carried enough force to knock the Genin away from him.
Assuming all had gone through, Kinzoku would close the meter distance from the kunai now standing directly over it. By now he knew Allegro and Higuto would be making an attempt at trying to aid their cut off teammate and the Jason underground would be nearing the kunai. The Nazar quickly closed Peacemaker up and flipped it back onto the magnetic hold on his back, freeing up both his hands for the Genin.

Higuto watched as his beams were all blocked by the wall of rock that sprang forth from beneath the ground as his lasers were repelled and barely put a dent in the hard stone's density. He sighed and dispelled the jutsu as his lasers disappeared and his mind wandered for another plan. It was clear that if he was going to get anywhere then utilizing jutsu that he didn't have a clear understanding of using yet wasn't going to be the way to go about things. All he had done was waste chakra as he decided next that he'd stick with what came naturally to him in order to get the results that he desired. He thus brought his hands up as he focused his chakra and began to focus it as high in the air as he could.
He formed the seals Bird, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Rat, and Snake as he took in a deep breath and felt his chakra become one with the clouds in the sky, expanding them bigger and darkening them, as the whole sky soon was covered in a vast expanse of rain clouds that steadily began to pour down onto the field with rain. He closed his eyes as he focused his chakra once again as he branched his chakra out and formed the clone seal as in two puffs of smoke shadow clones were formed. Higuto looked over to one of the clones and nodded to him and the clone would nod back as it would then disappear and camouflage within the rain while he remained solid. The clone, if able to turn invisible, would then make it's way stealthily to where Kinzoku was and would round the corner of the wall in order to get to him. Higuto then looked to his other clone as it got ready for Higuto's plan. Higuto knew this would be an enormous undertaking on his stamina but if it ended up working it would be all the more worth it.
He formed the Tiger seal as he closed his eyes and focused in on the rain that fell around him as his growing chakra caused some of the rain to stop and swirl around his body as he focused. "Ninja Art: Hidden Mist Jutsu." The rain around him would slowly dissolve itself in order to form mist around the field as it covered a good chunk, at 50 meters, enveloping everything in it's reach. Higuto, feeling ready, would then run around the wall while concentrating on keeping all of his chakra flowing to keep the jutsus he had prepared in check before placing his back on the edge of the wall and pulling out a kunai from his pouch. He looked over to his clone and nodded to it as it nodded back and ran to the opposite end of the wall and formed the Dog and Tiger seals. 4 more clones of Higuto, out of visionary range for Kinzoku due to the mist, would appear as though they were forming from the haze of the mist itself and would run over to Kinzoku's position as they then would circle around him with their hands in their pockets as the real Higuto would stealthily approach hoping that they would serve well as his distractions.

Allegro’s eyes were widened in shock, and yet trained on Kinzoku’s next move as the trio of genin combined their ninjutsu for as long as he could before he cast his next technique. He was in slight disbelief as his accomplishment on the training field. Despite having never trained with his chakra chains before, he was manipulating them as if they were merely an extension of his arms. His body processed the feeling of his chakra taking physical shape as the chains tightened their grip around the jounin’s legs. The strength of the chains would be enough to keep his legs tightly together and restricting his movements. The boy would suck his teeth as the chains that sought to bind Kinzoku’s arms were not as successful. He sure was not kidding when he said that metallic arm was part of what made Kinzoku a bonafide jounin of Konoha. His second chain broke into pieces, with the source of the chain still spouting from the earth below. Allegro had fulfilled his duty, even if only partially. Jason, the team’s fastest of the three, was on the move.
Allegro may not have been fast, but his sharp eyes could see the battle unfold before him. Laser beams soared through the sky above him honing in on Kinzoku in order to pin him down. In unison with his partner’s Ranton style jutsu, Allegro flashed a kunai that had appeared in his right hand from deep within his sleeve. He had to maintain his focus because his chains were just barely strong enough to keep Kinzoku sensei bound. And what’s worse, the flames made from chakra were slowly closing in on the genin. As soon as he realized this, their sensei began to erect a gigantic wall of earth using only one hand to weave hand seals. Allegro noted that the jutsu was of Doton nature and gritted his teeth in response, as if he knew something huge was coming. Kinzoku had diverted his attention off of Allegro’s chains and onto Higuto in that very same moment. The genin would make sure to take advantage of that opportunity. But seriously...what difference could the genin even make? This was not good: Higuto and Allegro would soon be visually cut off from the fight, leaving their teammate Jason alone to face him. Something told Allegro that this was all according to Kinzoku sensei’s strategy and overwhelming experience as a ninja. He was dealing with one monster of a shinobi, and Allegro now had to choose between getting out of harm’s way and to Jason’s aid, or keeping his sensei tied down. At the exact movement Kinzoku had shifted his gave to Higuto, Allegro gripped the wrist of the hand with chains sprouting from its palm as the jams pumping in his headphones reached maximum volume.
‘Don’t underestimate me, Kinzoku sensei!!! HAAAAH!’
With the flames still raging around him, yet not quite close enough to burn him, the male yanked the chains upward with all his bodily strength, adding it to the strength of his manipulated chakra chains. His veins were pulsing with effort, and were visible on his arms and forehead. The force of the pull (60) would sweep Kinzoku off his feet by the time he finished casting the Earth Wall and well before he attempted to free himself from the chains binding his feet. The tension from the chain would peel away at the earth like a knife through butter, pulling Kinzoku feet first in the same direction that Jason was approaching from with a speed of 50. By laws of motion, Kinzoku would need a speed of 150 to evade the condensed blast of chakra moving in on him at a speed of 100. Allegro could time this right because he could sense Jason’s signature on the other side of the Earth wall almost instantly after the strange substitution technique was executed. And what’s more, the second chain that had originally been broken by Kinzoku sensei had reformed into a chain with a heavy weight on its end. That chain would simultaneously swirl in a whipping motion towards Kinzoku from behind as he was being pulled towards Jason. The chain would whip directly into the jounin’s chest with an impact force of 50. The idea here was to push Kinzoku upward so that he could not just fall to the floor as a means to escape the impact of Jason’s rasengan. With less than a meter’s distance between Kinzoku and Jason, Allegro could almost taste the success.
It was by this time that Higuto had cast an array of jutsu of his own, one of which created a downpour of rain that quenched the flames around him. Thank goodness for that, or it would have been a tough situation for Allegro, who was all tied up, so to speak. Allegro looked over to Higuto as he cast his clones. ‘Jeez, Higuto kun is planning something big. He’s amassing so much chakra! And not to mention Jason kun. I better kick it into high gear too!’ Whatever that technique was, Allegro had hoped he had aided in its success. As Higuto took off with his clones, Allegro twirled the kunai in his hand and gave one fell swoop with it, severing the wires that Kinzoku sensei had use as a medium for his fire style jutsu. Slightly charred, but still functional and strong like steel. Putting the kunai away, the boy collected the wire and ran towards the earth wall, wrapping it around his wrist in a slick motion and concealing it from plain sight. He ran straight into the earth wall and merged into it. He knew he had to get to the other side and reestablish a line of vision, and figured cutting directly through the wall would save him the most time. He would become one with Kinzoku’s jutsu and would be able to sprout from any point if he was needed, while also being able to see on the other side.
It was here that Allegro would lurk and wait for another opportunity to jump in again. His next move would ultimately depend on how Kinzoku reacted. Had the jounin been hit by the combination of attacks, he would be sent directly into the earth wall with incredible force from Jason’s rasengan, and right in Allegro’s grasp. The chains with a health of 50 would probably be disintegrated in the blast. If the collaboration was not successful, Allegro would try the throw Kinzoku over the wall with his chain, leaving the genin free to grab the kunai. If that was unsuccessful, it would be up to his teammates to lure Kinzoku towards the wall where Allegro could restrain him again. Higuto could probably sense that Allegro was in the wall from his rain jutsu, so maybe they could follow up with a different strategy to distract Kinzoku while Jason’s clone raced to the kunai knife. But for now, Allegro was concealing his presence and maintained his grip on the chains. All the while, Higuto and his clones would move in to flank from either side of the fight. Visibility was now low, thanks to Higuto’s mist technique, however, It did not affect Allegro’s ability to track what happened next from within the earth wall. Thanks to Allegro’s interruption, Jason’s clone would be closer than ever before within reach of their objective.

Unlike his teammates, Jason lacked the ability to sense others whether it be through chakra detection or some other method. Unfortunately, that meant the second that earth wall appeared Jace would be completely cut off from the rest of his team. He would just have to trust them to do their parts just as he planned on continuing with his own. Hopefully whatever happened would give the Senju's clone enough time to reach their objective.
Moving as fast as his body would allow, rasengan locked and loaded, Jason had thought there was no way Kinzoku sensei would be able to completely dodge the massive attack. He was wrong. Without much effort at all, it would seem, the Jounin broke free of his bonds, turned to face Jace faster than the Genin thought possible, grabbed the boy's wrist and redirected the attack right into the enormous wall of earth that had just been created. The jutsu barely even made a dent in the wall, though the force of the impact left the Hokage-hopeful a bit dazed and seeing stars. By the time he came to his senses, he still couldn't see anything! He didn't know where it had come from, but someone in this exercise had unmistakably cast the Hidden Mist technique. Jason only hoped it was through some plan of Higuto's or Allegro's because if not, well he didn't really want to think about that.

Completely hidden from anyone else, or at least that's what he thought when really he was only hidden from Jason, the clone that was underground managed to get within a few short meters of its target(3 to be exact). Hopefully whatever the clone's original and the rest of Team 7 were doing it would give the clone enough time to finally get to kunai knife that meant the test was over. Hiding Like a Mole was indeed a useful jutsu, but travelling with it took far too long for Jason's liking. Still, only a few more seconds remained until he would reach his objective one way or another, so long as Kinzoku sensei didn't manage to get there first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Having no way of knowing what had happened to Kinzoku sensei or the others thanks to the water style technique, Jason had very few options at his disposal for fear of endangering his teammates with any reckless attacks. He chose the simplest answer, turning to face away from the earth wall and grabbing a single kunai knife from his weapons pouch with his left hand and two shuriken with his right. The kunai knife was held at the ready in a reverse grip while he sat poised to throw the shuriken at a moments notice should the Jounin show himself. Hopefully the mist would lessen enough for him to see clearly soon, or some signal that his clone had gotten the kunai knife would appear to end this exercise. He had spent too much chakra already and his body was feeling the effects. His head was still throbbing from his diverted rasengan earlier and his breaths were quick and shallow. At this point he couldn't tell if his shirt was soaked from the moisture in the air or because he was sweating. Either way, this fight probably wouldn't last much longer.

Re: Team 7's Survival Exercise (P)

Allegro had the right idea in trying to pull Kinzoku off of his feet and into Jason's attack. Unfortunately for him there was one fatal flaw in his attack. The timing. By the time he waited for the Nazar to finish casting the earth wall he had already been free from the chains twisting around his legs. Kinzoku timed his crossbow shot at the same time he had created the earth wall which meant that he and Allegro had essentially timed their attacks at the same moment, give or take. Which meant it came down to which ever action was the fastest. Kinzoku's bolt traveled at a speed of 100 while Allegro's chains moved at a speed of 50, Allegro himself moving at a speed of 45. By the time Allegro managed to pull his chakra chains to launch the Jounin, he was pulling on thin air. Having put all his strength into the pull to only find out he was pulling on nothing may even send the musician landing on his behind. As a result Kinzoku would be able to follow with his counter attack as planned.
Jason's rasengan smashed into the wall accordingly, the explosion seemingly leaving him a little dazed and confused. He would continue with his pushing kick into Jason which would only have pushed him a few meters away. If Allegro however continued with his second attack to strike the Jounin with a weighted chain, Kinzoku would fire a single bolt at it. The bolt was aimed right at the point where the chain met the ground. As a result, if the bolt was successful it would completely sever it making Allegro lose control of everything that was sticking out of the ground. Since the chain was originally aimed at the Nazar's back, once he had turned to face Jason he would now also be facing the chain. With his golden eyes scanning everything he could see, tracking the chain's movements came easy to him.
Now he was back over the kunai with Peacemaker resting on his back. But things had taken a sudden turn for the worst. Out of no where clouds had stormed in on them and began drenching the training grounds. Not only that but Kinzoku could no longer sense Higuto. Rather, he could sense him all around which meant that the rain was his doing. Tracking the Aburame through pure chakra sensory wasn't going to work. He was going to have to rely heavily on his natural senses as well now. And the mist only made it worst, likely Higuto's doing as well. Due to the rain being created before Higuto used the shadow clone jutsu Kinzoku really didn't have a clue that there were now multiple Aburame's running around. He was however still tracking the movement and Allegro, Jason, and the Jason underground. Higuto's rain wasn't going to stop him from doing that. One thing Kinzoku did notice about the mist was that it had some thinnest to it. The earth wall was exactly 7 meters from Higuto's original location. This meant that if Higuto could see his clone from the wall that meant that there was roughly 7 meters of visibility for everyone. Which also meant Jason was still in view of the Jounin and vice versa. So he could see the Genin take up a defensive stance with his multiple projectiles.
It was pretty clear they were trying to surround the Jounin. His speculation was basically proven right when four Higuto's came running in and surrounded the Nazar. Right off the bat Kinzoku knew they weren't shadow clones for one could only create two shadow clones at most. Unless of course they had managed to surpass the limit of the regular shadow clone jutsu. Though it still left a number of explanations as to what this was. It could have been a genjutsu, but Kinzoku didn't remember Higuto mentioning genjutsu as one of his specialties. The other option could be that it was the basic clone jutsu and they were simply following the movements of the original Higuto. Of course they were both false, as Kinzoku had never seen the Haze Clone jutsu used before and wouldn't know what it was. But they refrained from attacking, just as Jason had done. So Kinzoku stood there in a ready stance, tracking Jason's shadow clone and waiting until he was within 5 meters of the kunai assuming he wasn't already.
Kinzoku quickly knelt down as his right hand quickly came up in front of his chest forming the Seal of Confrontation while his left hand grabbed the kunai below him. The seal was rapidly followed up with the half Boar and Tiger seal. At the moment a swamp would begin forming all around Kinzoku, himself being its origin point. He made sure to keep the jutsu in it's base form. Thus it would expand 5 meters in all directions being 10 meters wide and extend 2 meters deep. As a result everyone would be in range of the jutsu with the exception Higuto and his clone. Before his own jutsu could suck him in, Kinzoku followed the Tiger seal with the half ram seal as he vanished from his current location and would land on top of his 20ft high wall looking down though blinded from the mist. Had he left the kunai down there then it would have inevitably been sucked into the swamp thus making it impossible for the Genin to retrieve it. And if there was no kunai to retrieve there was no challenge, thus there being no point in continuing. So he had to take it with him, keeping it in his left hand instead of stashing it away.

The rain was doing a very good job at masking Higuto's presence, alongside the mist, as he could see Kinzoku sensei deep in thought with his haze clones surrounding him. He looked and was able to also notice Jason as well, looking a bit dazed but otherwise unharmed, as he slowly made his way over to him to try and check to see if he was ok. His shadow clone that was hidden inside the rain was nearby and was about ready to materialize and swoop in to try and grab the kunai but Kinzoku then did the unexpected as he knelt down whilst picking up the kunai, doing one handed seals with his other hand, and brought his palm down to the ground as the ground suddenly began to split apart and he hopped up onto the top of the wall out of the way. This sudden move on Kinzoku's part caused Higuto to cancel plans as he could feel the clone he had used with the rain technique get caught up in the technique and it vanished as a result. He watched as Jason seemed quick enough to see the fissure crawl along the ground towards them all and he nodded as he proceeded to get away as well as he watched his haze clones disappear.
It was then Higuto noticed Allegro. He was about 10 meters away from him, coming around the corner of the wall to see him on the opposite side, when he noticed Allegro beside the wall and attempting to do something. Higuto stopped his motion, knowing that Allegro possibly didn't know what was coming due to the wall covering it, as he brought his hands up and formed the clone seal. The fact that his rain clone had been vanquished freed up Higuto's chakra to allow him to create another right away as he was already reaching into the puff of smoke his clone had formed in as his clone grabbed his hand and with a heavy swing Higuto threw his clone at Allegro. The clone caught up to Allegro. landing beside Allegro, as he picked Allegro up and tossed him over to Higuto just as the expanse of the swamp caught up on the clone and swallowed it too. Higuto sighed with relief as he got in the way of Allegro's trajectory and caught him so as to make certain his landing didn't end with him getting a mouthful of dirt. He dropped Allegro to his feet as he ended up on one knee, exhausted from all the chakra he had been apparently wasting in order to win out against the Jounin, as he allowed his control over the mist to loosen as he relaxed the remainder of his chakra and cancelled his other shadow clone.
He would look to Allegro, seeing that he didn't seem to have any injuries that he could see, as his mask hid his small smile. "You alright?... I think it prudent we stick together from now on. Hope Jason sees that, too..." Higuto's rain jutsu from earlier had caused the field to now be drenched with a good amount of water, giving Higuto and Jason a free elemental advantage for future water styles, as Higuto looked up the wall to see the jounin stand atop the wall and look down upon them all. He couldn't think up much of anything else that he could possibly do to get the kunai. Not alone, at least, as it was proof enough to him that the Jounin was simply too fast. He also was displaying his level of power through an incredible amount of chakra that the young Aburame was in awe of. 'So this is a Jounin, huh?'
Higuto sighed, trying to take a break from making any more slapdash decisions by himself as he felt that any further usage of chakra, at least without something to keep Kinzoku still, would have been extremely foolish. His hand came up to the neck of his shirt collar as he rubbed an indentation that showed up through the fabric as he had one last option that could work for the situation though felt now was not the time. For now Higuto would wait besides Allegro and keep his eyes on Kinzoku to prepare for any other sudden movements the Jounin might decide to make.

Allegro pulled with all his might, but to no avail. He unearthed his chains to find that Kinzoku was no longer attached to them. Even the attacking chain had been pinned down and rendered useless by another one one Kinzoku’s bolts. He staggered backwards, but quickly recovered his composure. He should have known it wouldn’t be that easy. ’That cross bow is more trouble than I thought, damn it.’ the genin thought to himself as he scrambled for a new plan. Still determined to lend a helping hand, he continued his aforementioned movements immediately following the withdrawal of his Chakra chains. Upon trying to merge with the wall however, he realized it wouldn’t be possible. The chakra used to erect this great earth wall overpowered his own.
Before he could get too deep into thought, Higuto was suddenly beside him. Allegro did not even have time to turn and face him before he felt Higuto arm on his. Higuto threw Allegro into the air, only to be caught by Higuto seconds after. Allegro regained his composure and fixed his headphones in place. It was only after being manhandled by his teammate did he realize that Kinzoku had cast a jutsu that would surely spell his doom otherwise. Allegro recognized it to be another Earth style technique and locked it into memory. When he put his attention back on Higuto, he noticed that the kid was almost totally drained of chakra. Allegro reached for Higuto’s arm to wrap around his shoulder, allowing Higuto to stand up with him. When Higuto asked if he as okay, Allegro replied,
“Hmm. Kinzoku sensei is strong as hell. He’s ruining our groove. You have any other bright ideas?”
What was coming next? All this for a simple knife? Allegro saw said kunai in Kinzoku’s hand. He did not see Kinzoku pick up the kunai on the other side of the wall, but one could only assume it was the same one. Allegro was feeling overwhelmed, and could only wait to see what would happen next. He did not have any other jutsu to put up against the well rounded shinobi. In fact, Allegro was worried that he would pale in comparison to his teammates, whom had managed to unravel an array of jutsu in such a short amount of time. It was also at that moment that Allegro remembered the team’s discussion of team leadership. Specifically, the election of a deputy squad leader in case Kinzoku should be tied up in a mission scenario. What would Kinzoku do if the ninja sandals were on the other foot? He would hopefully protect his subordinates at all costs, and like so, Allegro began to look through the now cleared fog to spot a sign of Jason. He too would soon be freed of the visual constraints of the Hidden Mist jutsu cast by Higuto, and would soon be seeking out his teammates, no doubt. Like Higuto suggested, it was best if the trio regrouped and discussed the next strategy.

Re: Team 7's Survival Exercise (P)

After settling into his defensive stance, Jason realized he could still see Kinzoku sensei through the mist. The Jounin wasn't that far away from him, maybe a meter or two at most. Not that it mattered much, since he was still feeling the strain of the jutsu he had used before while Kinzoku sensei looked like he hadn't even broken a sweat, standing over top of the kunai they were supposed to be capturing. Before Jason could even think about what to do next, the Jounin had acted. One second he was there and the next he was gone. To Jason, his sensei had completely vanished without a trace. Of course, that wasn't before creating a swamp that was quickly racing toward him. If he didn't do anything about it, he would undoubtedly be caught in the earth style jutsu. Fortunately for Jason, before he was caught up in the swamp he could feel his stamina returning along with the memories of the shadow clone he had created earlier.
With his renewed strength, Jason quickly jumped up and back, performing some aerial acrobatics that allowed him to see Kinzoku's new location atop the earth wall. Since the wall was his intended location and he was basically helpless in midair, Jason launched both shuriken he had retrieved from his weapons pouch earlier. The thrown ninja tools were aimed precisely at Kinzoku sensei's face, one following directly after the other.
As soon as the shuriken had left his hand, Jason quickly followed suit by forming the Ram hand seal. All of these actions happened as fast as the Senju's body would allow, with him finishing them all by the time he landed on the earth wall his sensei had created. Now standing perpendicular the the wall using the basic surface walking technique taught to him in the ninja academy, he faced down Kinzoku sensei with renewed vigor. He didn't know what had become of his teammates since he was still separated from them thanks to this wall and the Jounin so close, but he had faith that the two of them would no doubt be able to reunite with him soon. Their initial plan had failed, and that only meant their chances were diminishing every second they were separated. Considering his options quickly, he decided to play the decoy this time. Hopefully it would give his teammates enough time to either get the kunai knife or link up with Jason himself.
His hands still at the ready, his muscles tense in anticipation of the ongoing battle, it didn't take much at all for Jason to from the Bird hand seal. The continuous rain gave the Senju plenty of material for suiton techniques, which he planned to take advantage of. As soon as the seal was made, 10 shuriken were created in front of Jason from the surrounding the rain. Once fully formed, the shuriken launched themselves at Kinzoku sensei. Three of them shot at him head on, while the others separated to flank him as well as catch him from behind. Two shuriken curved around to attack the Jounin's right side, two did the same for his left, and the remaining three circled around the large earth wall with the intention of striking his back. Because of distance, speed, and angle, the shuriken aimed for his front would reach their target first, followed shortly after by the ones flanking him and lastly the ones aimed at his back. Of course, with how slow they were traveling and how obvious the attack was, Jason had no doubt it would be easily countered. But that was why he had back ups waiting that he could launch at any second.

No longer being able to track the chakra signature of Jason's shadow clone, Kinzoku figured his swamp had gotten it. With the clearing of the mist as well Kinzoku could now see that the four Higuto clones that had surrounded him were also gone, yet he still had no idea what they were. Now that the mist and rain were gone, Kinzoku could clearly see everything below and finally picked up on Higuto's chakra signature once more. For him to cancel both jutsu could only mean he was running low on reserves. He could only wonder how the other two were fairing in terms of their remaining chakra. Somehow Allegro had managed to make it over to Higuto and avoid his earth swamp. During the process all Kinzoku could do was track the movement of chakra signatures. But as to what actually went down the Nazar was unsure of. No longer needing his swamp as it had served its purpose Kinzoku stopped feeding chakra into it as it slowly shriveled away revealing the hard earth once more.
However before the swamp had been canceled Jason had made his move easily evading the jutsu while acrobatically jumping into the air and onto the earth wall. "Nimble and quick" Kinzoku thought to himself as he watched the Genin move in the air while releasing the two shuriken and following it up with hand seals. The two shurikens were easy to track as Kinzoku simply adjusted his upper body to the side avoiding the flying projectiles all the while keeping his golden eyes on Jason and his senses on the other two Genin. He watched as Jason performed two hand seals not knowing that the Genin had actually just performed two separate jutsu. Due to them both being performed one after the other it simply seemed as though it were one jutsu being used. He watched as 10 shuriken formed from the water Higuto had previously created with his rain. Due to the rain there was no shortage of water for them to use now and Kinzoku just remembered that two of the three Genin could use the water element. This could get dangerous, but exciting.
The 10 shuriken were launched by the Genin as 3 came head on and flanked from behind while 2 more came on either side. Clapping his hands together with the kunai in between the clap, Kinzoku released a large blast of wind from his own body. The jutsu covered 180 degrees meaning it extended out from in front of him and both his sides. Extending a total of five meters out, the raging wind would meet the flying water shurikens coming from the front as well as the both sides destroying them on impact. Waiting until the three from behind got within a couple of meters of the Jounin, Kinzoku simply fell forward and began free falling towards Jason. As he was falling forward, he performed a single seal with his right hand creating a puff of smoke beside him revealing a shadow clone hanging on the wall. The shadow clone would avoid the three water shuriken if they went from him, but as it stood he wasn't even in their trajectory. Instead the shadow clone would flip over towards Higuto and Allegro's location and begin falling towards them and attempt to punch both of them in the face. Of course, they had 20 meters of distance to see the shadow clone coming. The purpose was to simply see how they were going to proceed from here. Fight the clone, or aid Jason.
The real Kinzoku free falling towards Jason would push off of the earth wall while performing a front flip as he came mere feet from Jason. Doing so would launch the Jounin over his student landing on the ground below. Assuming the water shurikens had still been following Kinzoku they would now be directly headed for the Senju with only meters separating them. But Jason had proven he was quick and Kinzoku did not expect the jutsu to hit. To follow up he reached into his own pouch with his right hand grabbing a shuriken and waiting for Jason to make a move. If Jason dodged his own water shurikens then Kinzoku would release his shuriken aimed at the location Jason moved to. If Jason canceled the jutsu then it would simply be aimed at the Senju's current location. Kinzoku made sure that when he pushed off of the wall he landed somewhere that the water shurikens would not hit him if Jason dodged them, unless Jason controlled them once more. Meanwhile the kunai that they were ordered to retrieve still rested in the grip of the Jounin's left hand.
