It was a dark the thick cloud coverage blanketing the village, combined with the half crescent moon cast the leaf in a looming shadow. Approaching the front gate of the village the fire torches lighting the area flickered in the wind, a shadowy figure cast in the distance would stay stationary as yogimiru reduced the distance.

Reaching the front gates of the village, the presence made itself known, the dull flickering light from the nearby fire lit the woman standing in front of him. "Are you here for the graveyard shift?" She asks, replying with a simple nod the woman would take here leave mentioning for him to keep his eye's peeled.

Looking out into the dense forestry set in a pitch black shadow yogimiru begun his patrol, accepting the mission of patrolling the walls of the village he takes leave on his task heading first to the east he expected the walk to take a total of three hours. Trailing on the outskirts of the wall, the forest echoed demonic sounds, Ignoring the bone chilling rhythm of the wind he would maintain his focus watching for a threat to the village.

Cast in the darkness yogimirus body was on full alert, having limited vision barely being able to see a meter ahead and the silhouettes cast by the nearby trees tricked the mind. Starting to see things in the depths of the night the young man decided to activate his byakugan, Casting a wide gaze and a new light on the area he was now able to progress with a new-found vision. Reaching the first-kilometer marker indicated by a torch placed on the wall, its flame, a symbol of hope for those lost at night guiding them to the village, he would move forward at a steady pace his defenses would not drop, however unlikely a attack might be the young man didn't want to be caught off guard.

Reaching the third marker would indicate roughly the thirty minutes had passed, Beginning to feel the strain placed on his eyes from prolonged usage throughout the day. He would have no choice but to continue to rely on his doujutsu yogimiru would have to push passed the strain keeping his eyes firmly peeled on his surroundings as he remained following the wall.

Finally reaching his limit his eyes would finally falter after over an hour of unending use, being forced to deactivate his byakugan the strain that was placed on his eyes combined with the pitch black conditions rendered the young man practically blind. Only being able to see a few feet in front of him he slowly stumbled forwards using his remaining senses to continue the patrol. The thick cloud coverage drifting apart and allowing the beams of light from the moon and stars to reach the village allowed for a slight improvement to visibility. *MrmHRr* suddenly peaking yogimirus ears a odd sound un-natural to the woods whispered. Deciding to investigate he would rely on his hearing to ascertain the direction to follow before entering the woods.

Moving into the forest the terrain becoming extremely hard to navigate the pitch black woods and snagging trees made it next to impossible to see. Not letting this stop him yogimiru continues trying to seek out the foreign sound.
*CriK, CrAk* the sounds of the snapping twigs being caught on yogimiru where clearly giving his position away to the potential threat, deciding he had no other choice but to use his byakugan once more he closed his eyes in preparation. Muscles tensing and sending a stabbing pain through his eyes the technique activates, now clearly seeing his surroundings once more he uses the tree climbing technique to scour a nearby tree leaping from branch to branch to avoid detection.

Examining the area up to a kilometer ahead, he slowly analyzes the landscape in all directions, noticing three small humans easily recognizable by their silhouettes and chakra networks located at 3 o'clock roughly two hundred meters out, trying not to make to much sound yogimru would respond by trying to approach as silently as possible.

Reaching the top of a tree beside the group yogimiru hides in the shadows looking to identify and gain Intel off of the group, looking down at the three figures standing around a fire they where draped in robes making identification impossible. The billowing wind echoing through the forestry making their conversation almost impossible to clearly listen to the young man would only hear partial information and a single statement "No, you're wrong we need blood."

Deciding after hearing that one thing he would need to get closer, dropping from the tree top and distributing his weight as he landed to silence his fall he is now located two trees behind the group, shifting through the brambles of the woods as silently as a mouse, he sneaks up on the three hiding behind a tree located no less than a meter from the group.

Trying to eaves drop on the hooded figures it still remained difficult, succumbing to the pain in his eyes, his byakugan would be forced to deactivate. Casting him into the shadows of the night once more. "Well make them pay" a voice would squeeze out amongst the orchestra of noises. Sitting in place and curious about how to proceed he would now have to run the risk of trying to identify the group by peering around the tree currently unable to utilize his doujutsu. Possessing no information other that two negative phrases yogimiru would need to act soon, reaching into his equipment pouch and pulling out a kunai he readied himself for a confrontation.

"Let's get on with it" a voice says through the veil of the night, forcing yogimiru to act he would use his speed and strength to leap upward along the tree, mid flight he would then kick the tree in the direction of the group, tucking his body inward and preforming a spiral he lands firmly in between the three figures inches away from the raging fire. "Summoning jutsu" the three figures say in unison. Causing a large cloud off smoke yogimiru briefly lost visibility, bracing his kunai in his left hand raising it in front of his body. Prepared for the worst the smoke cleared to reveal seemingly no change to the current situation, yogimiru and the group unsure of what exactly happened they where set into an uncomfortable silence.


Still unable to ascertain a positive identification yogimiru would be the first to break the silence, "What's going on here?" replied with by with continued silence he would give them a few moments to respond, " I said, whats going on?" he yells at the group in a demanding tone, moving forward with his kunai prone the young mans patients was wearing thin. Inching forward ever so slightly one of the hooded figures would yell  "Get away from us" with a fearful stutter, casting a thin wisp of chakra over his kunai yogi launches at one of the figures, quickly circling him and grasping his back, holding the kunai close to the figure neck.

"Now i want some answers, whats going on" yogi demands, the three figures all dropping their hoods and begging for their lives "Please mister don't hurt us" the group wallows, Lowering his kunai and tossing the kid to the ground yogi frustrated barks "What are you kids doing out , here do you know how dangerous it is out here?. " continuing his tirade not allowing for them to speak "You know what, i really don't care what your gunna do is, go home." Im escorting you all back to the village gates.
Walking behind the group pushing them along in silence the would cover at least two kilometers before the tension was broken. Feeling guilty about scolding the children he would make small talk with the group on the remainder of their journey, Reaching the village gates after a long thirty minutes yogimiru would depart from the children and return to his duties.

Having to remain at a steady pace to ensure the mission had been done correctly the young man would start his trail a new pacing the outer rim off the wall at roughly a kilometer every ten minutes, Finding little to no activity whilst walking the path he already tread he reaches the third marker allowing him now to continue with the mission at hand.
Remaining on high alert the next two makers would pose no threat and also indicating the half way point of his journey. The quaint rhythmic sounds of the local bugs combined with the willowing wind and natural creeks and cracks created a melody of the night,yogimiru would enjoy the peace and quite away from the bustle of the village.

Wandering along the path the hour had quickly passed as he reached the large mountainous rock sat housing the pride of the village, sculptures of the hokages that had passed, ending the wall and sending him back towards the gate the journey would take roughly another hour and a half. *ShTuh ShuHt* Hearing the rustling of leaves nearby yogimiru at first just disregarded the noise as a forest creature coming to investigate his sent, continuing back towards the village gates he couldn't help but notice the rustling proceeded to follow him keeping several meters distance.

Wondering what has been following him he decided to activate his byakugan, narrowing in on the creature the figure was type of cat standing roughly two and a half to three feet tall. Trailing him with a curious nature, the cat would playfully pounce from bush to bush always maintaining its distance, wanting to meet the cat he begins to slow down trying to let the animal get closer. Taking yogimirus bait the creature would sense the lack of hostility emitting from the young man approaching within a few meters from him.

Stopping in place after a few half a kilometer yogimiru would try to get the cat to come out from the woods looking directly in the creatures direction it froze in place. Staring back at the young man the cat refused to move offering a mangey growl trying to ward him off. *Mwhp MPh* making a kissing sound and rubbing his fingers together he would try to bring the cat closer, still ignoring him it would bolt back taking a fifty-meter distance.

Exerting a sigh and turning his back to the creature heading back towards the village gates, continuing to wander at a slow pace over the next pacing kilometer the cat would close the distance to a few meters once more, showing no signs of hostility yogimiru showed no worry most ignoring the creatures presence as they both tracked the outer walls. Finally reaching a five kilometer distance from the village the young man notices the cats demeanor start to change becoming more skittish and widening its distance from him as they got closer to the village it would scatter back into the depths of the woods before reaching the village gates.

The warming glow of the village being able to be seen in the distance the homily feeling signified the nearing end of his mission, coming to the realization that due to the presence of the cat he had remained using his byakugan over the entire distance.

Reaching the village gates the young man came to the realization that his current limit to his doujutsu is not good enough, coming to a valuable conclusion on how to strengthen himself. Being greeted by a fellow ninja to take over the next guard run he would address yogi "Ive been waiting for twenty minutes now what took so long." Sorry their where some village kids running a muck, it's all good" yogi replies with a smile, *PeRf* shrugging off what yogi had to say the ninja would storm of into the night muttering obscenities under his breath. "Whats his problem" he thought to himself turning towards him smugly, "Alright have a good night," he would yell out sending the young man into a chuckling fit as he walked away, Heading home both tired and excited he fantasized about what he would eat when he got home.
