Patrolling, bleh [mission, IO]

Hanten Shiranui needed to get himself into gear. But how should he go about doing this? Well, he could just go and sweep the village until his arms fell off, but he didn't feel like losing his limbs anytime soon, thank you very much. It would probably hurt a lot, more than when he had to drag himself to the hospital without using his legs. He would most likely not be able to handle something of that caliber again, so he decided.... eh, not to. It just wasn't worth it. The opportunity to make fun of more people compared with losing his flesh? Nah, not the most appetizing of things.

He decdied that the best option was to take a mission. So, he took one off of the mission assignments from the board and looked at it. Ah, he just had to do some patrol work around the walls. Well, hopefully, he wouldn't be ambushed by any rogue ninja or peckish cannibal jonin. He wasn't looking forward to getting eaten. Well, he may as well begin. He set off toward the gates, hoping for an uneventful day. Well, as it turned out, he didn't have a hard time of it at all.

He walked around outside, looking carefully at things around him. It wasn't too bad of a day, and the sunlight made things easier to see and observe. If there were any intruders out there, they would have to somehow hide their appearance to escape him and the other random ninja who might have been patrolling there outside the gate. Well, after making a few rounds, Hanten didn't see anyone. So, he proceeded to fill out his report. The only suspicious things were perhaps that bear or the squirrel that seemed particularly interested in one part of the wall. Well, that was that.
