Cole awoke to the sound of his alarm ringing in his ear. Stirring himself to get up he slung his arm over his hand landing on the button to turn the beeping off. It had been a while and a long few months for the Kaguya. He had lost a teammate met a girl and almost got into a fight with one of his best friends over said girl. It was time that he got back to business. He had a mission that he had given to himself without knowing that he had. After his parents were killed in the village cole didn’t feel as safe as he once did within the walls of the village. He had a house all to himself that was meant for three, and he had no one come over hardly ever. He was hardly ever here himself. Plus he knew that he was not going to put an end to the jaws of Grima by staying in the village. He knew that they had people in the village but they were just small timers recruiters. Still a problem but there was more of them and if he was to finally take out the leaders the rest would crumble. Cole knew that he would have to leave the village but he didn’t know when or if the new kage Valen would allow it. He had a really strong feeling that he wouldn’t as long as cole was still a genin. Something that he hated was that he was still a genin. He was stronger than some chuunin, and a friend of his Kotetsu that he trained with a few times basically skipped chuunin altogether. Cole knew that he was powerful but what he didn’t know was why he was still in the village. Sure it was his home after all and he was going to protect it, but it didn’t feel like home anymore. He felt more at home with his summons out in the desert training in the temple that time forgot that he did in the village.
Thoughts running through coles head as he sat up in the bed letting his feet touch the rug by his bed. He hated when his feet touched the cold hardwood flooring first thing in the morning. Standing up he would slide his pants on and grab his shirt sliding his arms in it while leaving it unbuttoned while he went and used the bathroom. Grabbing a towel from the rack and laying it next to the shower cole would turn on the shower. Taking his shirt back off and laying on the toilet set followed by his pants and boxers. Stepping into the shower he had it as hot as he could stand it which was hot enough the hole room steamed up in a matter of moments. He looked down at his body looking at the small pieces of bone that had been sowed into his skin using his kekkei Genkai. It gave him more protection while making him stronger and increasing his skin's ability to regenerate after taking damage. However, since he had gotten it upgraded through experimenting with the scorpions it was way more noticeable now. With everyone in the village looking at him. He didn’t know what they were thinking but he knew that they were thinking about him. It was common knowledge now what happened to his family, and he didn’t know if they were talking about him as the boy that's family was killed or the boy with the bones stuck out his skin all the time. Either way, he didn’t really care too much, but it was another reason why he didn’t feel at home in the village anymore. Plus that was not including the normal harassment that all ninja received at the hands of the church in the village. To be honest he wished that they would allow him to just wipe them all out. He felt that they were just condescending asses that were too afraid to realize that the ninja was trying to help them he thought to himself.
Cole cleared his mind while he let the hot water wash over his body. He would run through is daily motions of cleaning himself for the day before stepping out of the shower into a room of steam. Cole would dry off letting the water droplets from his hair fall onto the floor before putting his clothes on. Stepping out of the bathroom the steam would emerge as if there was a fire inside the little room. Cole would look into the mirror seeing that his hair was fluffed up like always when he got done washing it. He would spend the next few minutes getting his hair to lay back down. Once he was done he walked back into his room and slid the rest of his clothes on before heading back downstairs. He wasn’t sure why but he just wasn’t able to shake his doubts today like he normally was able to. He was starting to think that he would need to leave the village in order to protect it. He was tired of playing defense and wanted the chance to play offense. He knew the kind of people and how powerful they were in the village and that they would be able to protect it without him. What he didn’t know was how he was going to go about it. He knew of a group of people that was able to come and go within the village as they wished, but he knew not their name or who they were. He had only seen one or two and wasn’t even sure if they was the ninja or just common people.

Cole would walk outside of his house letting the sun burn his eyes before holding a hand up to block the light. Seeing little dots everywhere till they went away cole would make his way to the water gardens. He needed time to think and he liked the area the gardens was very calming to him. It wouldn’t take long for him to get to the gardens as he hardly walked on the streets anymore electing to instead jump from roof to roof like some superhero. When really he just didn’t want people to stare at him anymore. Cole would make it to the gardens and find a spot close to the entrance to sit down on the bench next to some sunflowers. There he would let his mind wander.

The gardens were empty this time of the morning, and the damage done to the pathway was already being repaired since the last time he had been there. The event from two weeks ago was still fresh in his mind as he recalled his fight with the J.O.G. bastard that led to his acceptance to go with and visit Kari's family and the encounter with Cole just a week prior. As he sat there eating an apple leisurely as guards and monk alike passed through the gardens, none looking his direction as if purposefully avoiding him which suited him fine. The more he had to deal with the village people he felt as if he was simply slipping away and becoming another faceless entity.

Then Cole arrived.

He sat down some three meters away, his arrival was mostly silent and odd as he came down from a rooftop, but hey...most shinobi were weird. Miyamoto watched him for a few minutes then as Cole seemed to just get that thousand yard stare Miyamoto sighed before picking up a pebble and tossing it at him, aiming for his chest. He did not really hold back the shot, he knew the shinobi could easily take the hit, but it was not meant to be hurtful in any way. If the pebble got the attention of the young man Miyamoto would raise his hand in a slow wave, motioning him over. Since they had arrived back, the two of them and the team as a whole has become somewhat distant. This was possibly the best thing was to just move on, but the issue with the J.O.G. recruiting in the area using their guise as monks was something that he could not ignore, nor do alone. Cole would possibly want to know this information as well. So he waited.

Cole was sitting there his mind in a fog as his surrounding changed around him with people coming and going pass him. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do with everything that had been going on lately he figured that the best thing to do is what he always did he needed an outlet for his frustration. Cole was not paying any attention when miya sat down some 3 meters from him. He didn’t know he was their till he felt a ting on his chest. Looking down he saw the small people that had bounced off of one of the small pieces of bone stitched into his skin. Looking up he saw Miya sitting across from him giving cole a slow wave over to him. Cole would get up and trudgenly walk his way over to Miya, and sit down beside him “Whats up”.

When Cole joined him Miyamoto looked at him with that same look he gave him when Kari stayed at his house. He knows that the shinobi lifestyle is not one where jealousy creates a stable work environment, plus he considered Cole a friend. As such he felt that he owed it to Cole to at least try and patch things up and see if he needed any help with anything.

"Listen...about the other night, I apologize for barging in, that was wrong of me to do on any occasion. However, there seems to have been a few things left unsettled since we have returned from that fucking forsaken mission. So because of that, I think that it is time we come to terms and fucking talk about this. I don't plan on letting that fucker from the Jaws escape...nor do I want his compatriots to live a good life either. So in order to make sure we are both on the same page...I need to hear from you what are your thoughts concerning the village and how they deal with those fuckers from J.O.G." Miyamoto said in a cold tone, he seemed to be up to something, but for now, it was too hard to pinpoint his thoughts.

Cole sat next to Miya waiting to see what he was wanting. Cole was not in the mood for games and really just wanted to hit something really hard. "Listen...about the other night, I apologize for barging in, that was wrong of me to do on any occasion.” cole would hold his hand up stopping Miya from speaking for a sec. He would give no words but wave his hand through the air in a sign to tell Miya to forget about it. The two of them had been through more together than he had with anyone else in the village and something that small would not hurt their friendship at least not in coles eyes. He would lay his hand back down on a knee as he turned on the bench and laid his other leg on the bench with his knee bent using his hand to support himself.

Miya tone would turn cold as he started to talk about the failed mission they were both on. Cole face would show a small sign of pain as his jaw tightened for just a moment something that most people would overlook it was so fast. He would listen to Miya without saying a word till he was done. Cole had never heard Miya talk like that before, but he knew that this group hurt him just like they did cole.

Cole would wait for a moment choosing his words before speaking in a cold raspy voice. “We should just kill them all and wipe them from the pages of history” cole would say while turning back around on the bench with both his feet back on the ground his hands on his knees. He would turn and look Miya in the eyes “You know where some are.”

His answers were just what he wanted to hear, and so as the leader of their team he reached into his pocket and pulled out a very worn out flyer for a recruitment drive for one of the most tenacious group of killers and thieves that the world has seen. The Jaws of Grimma were trying to reform their ranks after being decimated so many times. It pissed Miyamoto off when he found the flyer during his mission with Kotetsu, but now that he has had time to live with the fact that they have BEEN recruiting he was even more upset. He reached out to give the flyer to Cole as he looked increasingly and visibly upset.

"I think we should demoralize the fuckers from starting in our village again...what do you say?" He asked Cole as he knew that there was also a mission out in the shinobi mission building to take these bastards on. They chose a time when the village would be vulnerable too...the Chuunin was one of the few remaining higher ranked shinobi left in the village currently, the Kage and two bodyguards left some time ago and as such people thought that since the cat was away that the mice could play.

Start of mission Infiltrating a recruitment drive

Cole sit their next to Miya for a few seconds as Miya reached into his pocket pulling out a old worn flyer. He handed it to cole to read the flyer. It was a recruitment flyer for the jaws of grimma. Cole felt a ting go through his body at first he didn’t know what it was then he realized that it was anger. The people that had taken so much from him was now recruiting more people for their cause. He could feel his blood starting to boil as a rush of chakra flew from his body creating a gust of wind. His eyes started to go white with rage when he heard. "I think we should demoralize the fuckers from starting in our village again...what do you say?"

Cole took a second to calm back down before talking even though he wasn’t able to get the hate from his voice. “I think just killing them would be to kind of a gesture. When do we start?” he would look Miya in the eyes as he asked the question. Miya would be able to see the blue starting to return to coles eyes.

"We start now Cole...follow me and make sure we are not followed by anyone else. We are going hunting." Miyamoto said as he began walking, the walk would take them through the shinobi mission areas as he noticed a mission posted on the board from the Hogokage with no teams assigned to the mission.
"Well...looks like our little hunt just turned official Cole." He would say as he handed the mission paper over to Cole as he made his way towards the desk to accept the mission. By the time he actually made it up to the desk, he had filled out any required input and signed himself and Cole up for the mission. The clerk looked at the two eagerly before finally hitting the paper with a stamp and handing it back. The mission was accepted and it was time to put the hurt on the fuckers that wanted to kill shinobi and do illegal things. As they were heading towards the village gates though Miyamoto took a sharp turn towards the wildlife reserve. He did not speak at all so if Cole spoke, that would be the only reason he would actually speak back.

Cole would get up from the bench and follow Miya. He wanted revenge it had been a bad week and he needed to vent. This was going to help out a lot he thought to himself he had lost too much to this group and now they were going to take them out. Cole knew that to get to the village gate they would have to go by the mission center. Which Miya walked into the building and grabbed a piece of paper off the wall showing it to cole. “Looks like our little mission just got official” he would tell Cole. “Alright then” cole would replay as they turned and walked up to the counter. The little old lady looked at the two and gave a smile before slamming a stamp down on the paper and giving it back to them. Cole would continue to follow Miya out the village gate in silence. Turning to head into the wildlife area were the jaws of grimma was suppose to be stationed at. Cole would run at whatever speed that Miya felt good at. It would take them long before they were deep in the woods the sun having a hard time breaking into the canopy of tree limbs above him. Cole would motion for Miya to land on the ground were cole would stop and face him. “I have an idea that will help us find them faster. A couple friends of mine don’t like them either and would love to help out” cole would say as he bit the thumb on his left hand slamming it down on the ground.

Two puffs of white smoke would rise up from the ground dissipating to reveal two giant scorpions. One standing just taller than cole at six and a half feet while the other standing at a massive ten feet tall. The massive scorpion was missing the tip of his tail and was covered in battle scars. “What have you summoned us for this time young one” the massive scorpion would say in a bellowing voice while the other just stood there. “We're out here looking for the Jaws of Grimma they are supposed to have a hideout out here and we're going to take them out figured you guys wouldn’t mind helping us find them I know you guys don’t get to have too much fun with Vilect staying on you two." “Very well you get on my back and your friend can get on my brothers” the massive scorpion would say.

Cole would turn to Miya “sorry I guess I could have introduced you guys he would say. This is Miya” cole would say lifting his arm to Miya. “and this is Shingui” cole would say as he jumped up onto shingui. “And that is Kajiun” cole would say lifting his arm to Kajiun. Cole would wait for Miya to get on while he explained that the scorpion can sense the vibrations in the earth so finding a bunch of people moving around in the woods should be a lot easier for them than Cole and Miya.

An idea to help us get to our target faster eh? Miyamoto thought to himself as he was willing to try just about anything once at this point. So when he nodded to Cole to do what he was going to do he moved his manipulation fabric over his body to where it covered his face and left just his eyes open as he waited. He noticed the summoning jutsu and then with two explosions of smoke filled the area for a moment, and when it cleared out there were two giant scorpions, which were impressive by themselves, talking to their partner Cole asking why they were even summoned. Miyamoto listened to him explain the situation as they agreed to help but felt uneasy about him still, the tension was in the air.

As Cole introduced Miyamoto, he gave a slight bow and smile. He remembered all too well when they were last summoned, and he would make sure that never happened again. "A pleasure to meet you both, I look forward to completing this mission with the both of you as well." He said with a grin as the sun shined upon him in that instant making him look purer than what he really was.

He would follow Cole's instruction on riding the scorpions if that is what they were going to do. He was already tired of this mission, bloodshed was beginning to change the boy. Was he beginning to hate normal things in life the longer he was a shinobi...he did not say anything to Cole as he was ready to get some stuff done.
