Four Legged Trouble

It was a dark and stormy night with heavy downpour. As the sky cleared, the bright sun shone upon the house of Hanzo. The young Uchiha woke up feeling excited to get another mission that would best compliment him. He wanted some action, he wanted to battle and wanted to test out his new techniques which he acquired recently. He removed his bed covers, washed up and got ready to head out. As he was exiting his house, he heard a "Meow" and turned to see that a white colored cat was running around. He didn't think much of it and walked towards the Otokage Mansion to retrieve a good mission this time.

As soon as he reached the place, for the first time he saw many missions posted. Finally he felt the need to reach out to one that had some action but his eyes were glued to a mission that had the same picture of the cat he saw when he came out of his house. He scanned through the details real quick and understood that a noble had lost her cat that requires its annual check up. Since the cat was just near his house, he ripped the mission sheet and rushed to the location he last saw the cat. "Easy mission" he thought to himself and he reached the location unfortunately, the cat wasn't there.

"The estate!" he exclaimed as he knew the cat would have gone back in hiding. He wandered around a bit until he found the location of the estate. As he entered the huge door of the estate, he was greeted by the butlers. He introduced himself and the purpose of the visit. The butlers thanked him for his service and informed that the cat always hated the annual check up and would often hide around the estate. Hanzo took some cat treats from the butler and started searching around. He couldn't seem to find the cat at all. He devised a plan to trap the cat by using treats as his bait. The Uchiha with his bright mind, put some treats on the floor and camouflaged a bucket over it. As soon as the cat gets near the treat, it will trigger the bucket to fall upon the cat, trapping it beneath it.

He carefully planted 10 such traps around the estate to increase the odds of capturing the cat. Just as he finished planting the 10th trap, he heard a bucket fall. Thinking it was the cat, the Genin rushed to the sound of the location. Instead of a cat, it was a racoon, disappointing him. Nonetheless, he removed the sloppy creature and replanted the trap again. As he waited patiently, he heard another bucket falling. As he rushed to the trap, he heard the same meow from earlier. He knew he found the cat. He carefully removed the bucket with one hand and captured the cat with the other hand. The butlers called the Noble lady to retrieve her missing cat. The noble thanked him as Hanzo headed out to complete another mission.
