Charging into Genin

Finally the genin exams have arrived. I've been busting my balls out training hard simply because i heard these were soon. My only grimace is that i haven't done these exams sooner. As behind these walls of genin and jounin. Lie the sea of the Raikage. The one who is not only the strongest. But able to fight the strongest. 

Besides me during this day was a bunch of pathetic weaklings. Only some i would consider able at all. But there was a few which caught my eye. Several strong looking ones yes. But also calm ones. Who unlike the rest of the people here are ready for anything with eye's that show many times more strength then the strong looking ones ever do. 

It was nearing time. I grabbed a seat calmly and breathed. Yes. My chakra once again seems easy to feel inside myself. Yet the person coming up would not only be someone with great power. But use of said power too. Whoever this person coming up was would not only be strong but someone i should respect to the upmost.

Yet fanboying is the last thing to do right now over the strong. I should just wait. With my guard up and my body ready for anyone or beast to come.

Entering the room the blue eyed man took slow look around the room. A sea of faces looked back at him. A blend of individuals all rolling into one. How many times had he done this? Hundreds? Thousands? Yet another batch of hopefuls who wanted to go out into the world as a shinobi. He didn't bother to memorise their faces, he doubted he would see many again. Such was the way of this line of work. In every generation the number of successful candidates could be counted on one hand. For every successful candidate the ones who would become truly great were even less than that. Those that remained were forever lost to the world.

The man gave one last look of the room. He was tired, his joints were aching and his back hurt. Best just get this over with. The gray haired man thought to himself. He checked his list. "Hoshi Kyouken." The first name was called out with any enthusiasm. "Perform the transformation and clone technique. If you can't do so then you will fail this exam, that goes for the rest of you as well."

Any previous enthusiasm Hoshi once had was enhanced magnificently at the sight of this examiner. He of course didn't care about any of the weak individuals here. But of course. If he was in the examiners spot he would also be bored out of his mind from all these weaklings wanting to be Genin including himself in the line of these weakling compared to the examiner himself. Unlike with most people Hoshi actually performed bowed for this white haired man "Nice to meet ya today. So all i have to do is perform the clone jutsu and transformation jutsu. Ha that's alot easier an exam then i was expecting. Becoming a Genin should be no problem at all"

 Despite these confident words I was actually abit paranoid if i could successfully do both jutsu at a satisfying enough rate that I could be pleased with i think could be good enough but for a being with a presence which unlike most people perhaps no so. Just being near him feels like he has a crushing and demonic presence unlike any person he's ever seen with his white hair and blue eye's given a sense in terms of humanity. He may of given up certain aspects of humanity for this presence of absolute power. But it was in no place of Hoshi to determine. Most people at his level probably feel this way

All i had to do was perform 2 successful jutsu's. So i might as well prepare myself to get this 100% nailed. I breath slowly as i feel the chakra within my body flowing throughout my entire body, The tips of my fingers. The bottom of my toes. Throughout my entire brain and body. Good that process only took 2 seconds now. I imagine again a vassal making an image exactly of this examiner who i don't even know the name of yet respect more then anyone else I've seen *not more the the Kage's of course* The white hair the blue eye's. The candid attitude. And his clothes. I must imitate them perfectly. After creating the image of the vassal in 3 seconds i perform the Jutsu using the Dog Boar Ram hand signs within 0.7 seconds. 

I successfully *i think anyway can't see everything about me* Transform into the examiner. Copying all his eccentric details and even the small pores of his skin i must of copied. Of course i can't do much but i try to show i'm capable of movements such as talking imitating his currently bored tone a somewhat bored tone "Hm it appears I've been copied by some brat. *sigh*." And jogging around the classroom just to show i can do actions with this jutsu even grabbing a pen to show it's no image and I really have become a look alike to the examiner. Until after a minute i decide to stop the jutsu and take a deep breath "Well I've done one step of this examination and it wasn't too bad". But Now... The other one I guess maybe ugh."

Now the jutsu i've been worried about all this time. I've only recently been able to use the jutsu itself. I've got the hand signs down no problem but it's just the concept i'm still on edge about. I needed a strangers help for this jutsu and i haven't been using it randomly within my home as much as the others. Unlike before i get mentally prepared to get max marks within this test. I imagine the light rays forming into versions of me. The movements of empty promise yet  still visible to those who assume that they are real. The clones which must follow my every command if i am to surpass everyone within this test.

My hands move within the Ram to Snake to Tiger formation and i create a singular clone who follows my every movements... This is not enough. I again do the Ram Snake Tiger movements and pour my very soul into being imitated by fragments of light and unlike anytime before i created 2 fully fledged non illusion looking clones. After doing abit of testing to see if they do imitate my every move such as winking weirdly and pretty much messing around with my mouth. Arms and legs I feel relieved and happy no this feeling is more akin to being ecstatic "Yes yes yes! I've done it booyah! I doubt i'll fail a test like this now. Hi five." 

The moment i try and make me and my clones hi five by putting my hands up to my sides. I go through them. Remembering that clones themselves and incorporeal i sink into my shoulders chuckling awkwardly which even the clones imitate too. I get pretty pissed of at the clones and let them disappear out of shame. Embarrassment and rage. But after that's said and done i decide to sit down on a chair and ask the examiner "How was that then. That good enough for ya?"

The man watched and observed. So many times this had played out before him. It was safe to say he had seen it all, the best of the best and the worst of the worst. He had seen some of the greats pass in this very hallway. Who knows, perhaps there may be one that lay within the room. The the display of the first individual he afforded himself a tired smile at the antics. Let them have their fun now he thought to himself.

With the display at an end it was time for the part he hated the most. The judgement. Did they pass, did they fail? Oh how he wished he could end them all with a fail. Just send the kids back to their families and have them take a different path. Except that wasn't his job. The world needed shinobi, Kumogakure needed shinobi. So for now the man had to do his job.

"Hoshi Kyouken, pass. You may now leave and pick up your headband on the table outside."

After hearing the obvious news i walk to the door and step outside. That man may of been intimidating but one day. I'll be able to fight people like that. But for now. It's time to take my first step into the shinobi world and as i look at the headbands i try to look for one which seems more unique. And so after looking at them all i find one missing a tiny bit of the corner *chipped probably* And i put it on. But i would dislike the look of it on my head. So rather i place it on my wrist. Now. The first step has been completed in the long line of missions. Who knows who or what i'll fight. But i'll match it head on
