Spooky Scary Skeleton

Mission:

Well, Zyxis shouldn't be surprised. There were vampires, Frankenstein, and now an actual haunted house? He was wondering if people were making these up, they were cheesy. It had started only this month, his favorite month. Every spooky, scary thing that could happen had happened. He wondered how the villagers walked the streets with smiles such as those when there was a mob only a few days ago. Zyxis passed the various stands and people and gave up caramel and candy apples, chocolate, and many other treats. He held in his tears. If he weren't going on a mission currently, he would've given all of his money for the gifts. Bu the knew that if he were to eat something too sugary, it could affect his mission performance.

He headed towards the mission quarters and looked at the board. It seemed as if his intuitions were right, after all, there was a haunted house. People had been claiming to see things, and if Zyxis hadn't just done the other two missions, then he wouldn't have believed it. But lo and behold, Zyxis was going to go Ghostbusters on this house. Today was the day. Although, he decided he should wait. It seemed that Natsu and Hoshi had a scary detector as well. Whenever something was going awry, they had appeared as well. So Zyxis waited patiently. His gut feeling wouldn't fail him today.

This whole holiday was different from the years before. Normally she would go to a costume party, being a total slut, talking to all the guys, getting hella drunk and just having fun. Not this year. It was full of actually mystery. Not the kind of things like to see if the guy that gave you a drink spiked it. She found a vampire. A real vampire. She wasn't sure if she was related to it or not. Hato was just praying that she was not.

This time however, reports of a haunted house. Normally this was just a lure for party girls to get drunk in a house. But this time it might be legit. Who knows? Maybe it's full of missing ninja that have a special technique to hide themselves, looking like ghosts. Guess there was only one way to find out. 

Hato headed down the the mission quarters. Once she arrived, she noticed a familiar face. It was Zyxis! She walked up to the younger genin. "Hey, don't tell me your'e doing the haunted house too." Last time, she found him doing the same mission as she was with the vampire. It was him that took the last shot, killing the beast. It might actually be a bad thing that he was also doing it. Two heads work better than one.

This was a great Spooktober for Hoshi. All the events kept changing and candy was becoming more and more scarce from all the undead creeps walking around. Yet the crowning thing Hoshi loved about this Spooktober ,compared to any he's even been in, Would be that the supernatural is actual seeming to become the natural. With his Curiosity about the night firmly in his mind, Hoshi went around the village to listen into the crowds. If anything was going to happen then Hoshi would be the one to stop it. It would be interesting to find out what being is next on his fight list. 

"Dude have you heard that their's a real life haunted House nearby and stuff." "Woah no way dude?" "Yes way Dude! It's just down a couple streets. Though I've heard it's actually a risk so who the hell would actually go there!" On second thoughts, Hoshi could instead go and have some fun within this haunted house. It seemed like the real deal and so he wanted to arrive at the house asap, Even going as far as activating the first gate, Gate of opening. With the increased Speed Hoshi sprinted to the house. Only too find Zyxis and Hato there at the entrance. "Hey it's you guys again! You also looking to have some fun within a rumoured Haunted house? If so then Let's go already!"


Without a thought of danger Hoshi rushed towards the big double doors to the house, Opening them in a breeze as he was at the entrance. Yet before he entered he turned around to invoke the other two too enter. "Come on guys let's go!" Yet as he said "HELP AHHH" With the screams cut off almost immediately after heard and only followed by rhythmic squelching. This turned from a fun trip to a life or death scenario pretty fast. "Guys let's go!" With Hoshi entering the the house. Unaware of what's in store for them, Deeper within the house.

Zyxis looked at Hoshi as he arrived, and gave him a wave. Since their last debacle he had gained some respect and consideration for Hoshi, he could have even called him a friend. "Hoshi, this is a mission, so we should treat it like a mission. Don't go in there all willy nilly. Let's be calm about this." The mission wasn't the Genin's first rodeo; they had been on many other tasks together so they should know the drill by now. Although he was somewhat sad Natsu wasn't here, but at the same time, glad. She always seemed sad. It hurt him to see her upset, and it hurt even more that he wasn't able to do anything about it. He most definitely needed to talk to her.

The white-haired Genin was taken away from his thoughts when there was a cry for help. Hoshi went running in, and Zyxis looked at Hato, "Let's follow him. Stick close together, please. Since you can heal us, I want you by our sides." Zyxis sighed as he ran after the boy. Hoshi's assumed masochist tendencies were going to get him killed on a mission or in the Chuunin Exams. Hopefully, he would be able to control them when the time came. It didn't take him long to... lose Hoshi.

"Okay Hato, I need you to-" He turned around to see Hato gone as well. That must've been his fault; he did run in here pretty quickly after all. He was getting some deja vu now that they were all split up, but he wasn't too worried. Both shinobi were strong.  Zyxis remembered that the mission scroll said that it was a pale figure stalking around here. Hoshi had gone to help that girlish scream, so Zyxis decided to investigate. He had a suspicion of what it was but didn't say it. There would be a time for that.

Each step on the floor made a sound that would've scared Zyxis if he wasn't a trained shinobi. He swore he heard cackles, scratching on the dirty walls, and light bulbs flickering on and off. It seemed as if was completely dark in here, Zyxis had to activate his Sharingan to see around here. All three tomoes spun faster as something jumped out at him with a shrill scream, or hiss. He couldn't tell which one it was.

His body moved without him even having to tell it to go. His leg went up and clocked the figure in it's supposed chin. It was sent hurtling into a wall. It would've hurt more if Hoshi had hit him since Zyxis wasn't that strong physically, but he moved his hands at [98 Speed] finishing his combo. Lightning rushed forward as he used Raiton: Sparks. It dodged faster than the jutsu and tried to slice him with its claw, its body moving unnaturally fast and crooked. Zyxis used Arhat Fist Gangeki, slamming it straight through the floor.

"Good riddance," He spat. He wondered if either Hoshi or Hato were down there so that they could take a turn at beating the heck out of whatever that was. Zyxis swore it looked like a buffer version of the last vampire they fought.

Eventually Hoshi arrived. The young genin also looking to see what this haunted house was. Now the team was assembled, Hato the medic, Zyxis the ninjutsu user and Hoshi the tai jutsu user. It was a perfect team as long as they could stick together. 

Hato entered the house along with the other two. The double doors, the creaks and  the old timely smell just made it seem like a classic haunted house, not an actually one. Suddenly a shriek to top it off. Hato pulled off her whip so she'd be ready to face whatever it was that might be causing the terrifying shriek. Zyxis instructed that she stay close to them because she could heal any damage. Hato didn't really like being bossed around like that but she didn't show it. Besides, she agreed, as the team medic, she needed to stay close to the other in order to become necessary.

Well, sticking together didn't last long. She instantly got lost looking around, neither of the two were in sight. The cause of the shriek didn't seem to be in sight either. That's when Hato decided that she needed to use Minds eye of Kaguya. She scanned the area to find both Hoshi and Zyxis. 

She noticed that Zyxis was in danger and started to his location, which was hard to do because she still didn't know the house lay outs. Thats when she heard the crash of Zyxis's fist hit the ground. It was a loud boom, making Hato wonder if she got the beast. She found out later that he didn't because it was soon running at her from the end of the hallway she was in. It zoomed towards her with the same shriek, causing Hato to let her whip down to intimidate it. It took a slash at her, hitting her. Luckily, Hato's wounds started to heal as soon as the claws left her skin. Using the close up of the beast, she tried lashing at it with her whip. However, it's speed was too great and it really pushed her aside and ran past her with the same shriek. Hato did another quick scan and relized it was heading towards Hoshi. Although, she knew that he'd be able to handle himself, so she wasn't that worried. She just needed to work on regrouping, so she headed towards Zyxis.

Not long after, Hato found Zyxis. "Thank god, Hurry! We need to get to Hoshi! I have chakra sensory." She grabbed his hand and hurried, she wasn't losing him again.

Hoshi didn't know a mission was even taking place at that moment, All he did was dash towards where the voice was. Even going as far to open his 2nd and even 3rd gate. Becoming much stronger as a result. [127 speed 155 power]. The corridors were slightly damp with the greenish mold seeping through the cracks of the place. Yet with this newfound speed Hoshi managed to lose track of both Zyxis and Hato. He was now all alone in this kind of environment, Yet again having to fight for himself.

Suddenly within this place the candles around Hoshi lit up from seemingly nothing. All leading from where he is too a set of doors. One surrounded by candles, The other not so much. Hoshi thought one of them could be a trap and scratched his chin. Were the enemy using reverse psychology? Perhaps both of the doors were traps. He thought hard and ended up looking to his left, Only too find a door covered in shrubbery and moss. They definitely would not want Hoshi to come this way at all. As he dashed too the door only to find it looked... Heh. 

A large explosion would be heard by Zyxis and Hato right after Hato saw the vampire running in Hoshi's direction. The door could not withstand the hit and so collapsed by a very simple jab. He tried to search for the screamer, Only too hear similar yet more hostile screaming coming towards him at rapid speeds [80]. As the pale creature came by Hoshi it bared it's fangs "If I cannot beat them. Than perhaps a peon like this would be able to if I simply turn him. I don't want to upset master at all with this ruckus when he simply wanted test subjects for his experimentations." As the vampire talked to himself he Failed to Notice that Hoshi sprinted up to him. With Hoshi whacking the creature on the head with the side of his right hand. Knocking him out immediately. "Just my luck. More vampires. Thought something more varied would happen but hey. He has a master so perhaps this isn't all doom and gloom with disappointment." Hoshi treated the knocked out vampire like a rag doll and put him over his right shoulder.

Hoshi kept moving towards where the creature was running from. It seemed to have fear and mention them so hopefully the ones Hoshi would run into are Zyxis and Hato, Thankfully that line of thinking succeeded as he could easily spot Hato and Zyxis. "Hey guys. Sorry for running off but I didn't know their would be real danger here. Thought it was simply a haunted mansion for fun really. Though I guess more of these kinda fiends are out here. Why can't their be a good or nice vampire for one!" Hoshi's frustration was ironic as Hato was in front of him. 

Hoshi wiggled his right shoulder to show the vampire he caught. "Knocked this guy out cold. Though what he said may be of interest. He said he had a master of sorts! Causin experiments on people. Guess they didn't expect people like us too arrive! Now this time let's keep together." Hoshi failed to mention his 3rd gate. And how his skin was red and a green aura surrounded him. But he had more urgent things on his mind, Where the master could be. Hoshi began to lead Zyxis and Hato until he asked a question as he turned around after 3 minutes of leading "Anyone have any idea's where a master of sorts could be?"

"The master is probably at the top of the house, let's go together and not split-up this time, if you guys don't mind," Zyxis said politely. If they listened, the three would travel up the stairs. Now, with each step, the sound of the stairs creaking seemed to get louder. It didn't seem to be that but, but there was a sudden sense of impending danger. "Guys-!" The boy stricken, claw marks appeared on his face, and he was sent flying through the wooden structure known as the house.

He hit the ground once, bounced, and then hit it again rolling until he hit a fence and came to a stop. The vampire's master had come at him with [150 Speed], almost as fast as he could move. The boy hadn't activated his Soul Expulsion or Sharingan, so he wasn't quick enough in the moment. He wiped his hand against his cheek and looked at his hand as he pushed himself off the ground. There remained blood and lots of it. Soul Expulsion activated and his Sharingan gleamed dangerously at the night time it was.

"Let's murder him, then this house should be fine," Zyxis said loud enough for everyone to hear. It made sense, as this monster was taking it as its residency and torturing people as he went. The vampire would now be standing about two meters from both Hato and Hoshi. As a team, they would have to work together to beat this monster. Zyxis jumped forward, scaling the house and coming back into the fight. Whatever they needed him to do, he would comply.

Hoshi soon found the two of them. He carried the vampire that had escaped both Zyxis and Hato. Hato figured that it was because of his amazing speed and advanced power boosting techniques. What would the team do without each other?

The young genin explained that the vampire was talking about a master of it's. He also added that he wished that there were nicer vampires. Hato would feel insulted, but she knew she wasn't good. But what really intrigued her was the fact that this thing might have a master of the same race she is. Exciting. Maybe the master would be able to tell if she was a part of the same family. What if she is? What would she do? Well she would have to just play by ear. This was sort of a new adventure for her as a vampire, this whole season was getting her excited and interested in her bloodline, something she hadn't been trying to do lately. 

Zyxis suggest that the three of them should check upstairs. Hato agreed. They traveled up the creaky stairs that were narrow enough to fit all three of them on the stair case together side by side. Hato was prepared for anything. Well, so she thought. Suddenly, poor Zyxis was launched through the house by, seemingly, the master that the other vampire was talking about. He wore a dark cape, the inside were crimson red. It looked torn, even though it looked expensive. He also wore a loose white shirt and black dress pants. Why would someone like him need to dress up in such a manner? Did he have plans? Although was really shocked her was the fact that he didn't look old, he had a fresh face that was only slightly pale, and long thick hair that were as black as most as her outfits back home. The vampire was also pretty tall, towering over her.  He was actually attractive. Hato didn't really want to hurt him, but she had to do her job. 

After Zyxis was thrown out the building, Hato quickly jumped to the bottom the stairs, getting more distance from him and leaving Hoshi to take care of counter measures. Not only because of this attractiveness, but because that Hato was the only medical ninja and she needed to be out of the way so the two fighters could battle and she'd just heal afterwards. She held out her whip in front of her so she would be prepared.

As Hoshi began the aimless hunt, Zyxis decided to take the better lead and suggest going up too the roof. "I guess I'll follow your lead." If this was before their trip together in the mountains Hoshi would've argued about being the leader, But Zyxis was a fitting leader in some aspects ,Better than Hoshi was, and could lead them well. Though Hoshi maybe a better leader than what he's seen of Hato, As she seems more content with a support role and fulfils that amazing in terms of what her healing can do. 

With Zyxis in the lead everything seemed to be going well as they stalked up the creaking stairs of the haunted house. The stairs creaking with each and every step Hoshi took. It seemed even as he stepped carefully his presence would be given away by the creaking, So stealth would not be a thing. The damp walls seemed to ooze slightly. it's as if it was a living organism. Yet it seemed normal enough. Just a flat wall and nothing too crazy from the cracks and an eye blinking... Hoshi realised that the blinking eye wasn't a trick to his mind, But actually an eye that he was too late too perceive as it's figure flew towards Zyxis too attack him with a facial slash.

Hoshi stood there as blood went over his friends face. This thing attacked Zyxis. It tried to kill Zyxis. Why Zyxis. Why is this creature attacking Zyxis. During this confusion within Hoshi's mind the head vampire went towards the spaced out eye's of Hoshi and seemingly seemed pleased "My my. The servant may of failed me but I could always use a new tool. Yet you don't seem fitting in this mental state. I would rather feed off you instead." Too Hato this voice would sound mature and gentleman like. Yet too Hoshi it was blocked out.

The mixture of rage and confusion filled Hoshi's head LET GO as he was trying too assess what to do to the creature who attacked Zyxis. Zyxis even told him too kill DO IT him and yet his mind was on the fritz between submission and running away. Yet Hoshi quickly calmed down. Zyxis wouldn't be as weak too let something like that phase him and I shouldn't either With that ready the vampires teeth were about to sink into Hoshi's arm ,as he stood around throughout all of this, 

If this creature was not one too be killed then so be it, Hoshi prepared his mind and steeled it for the attacking opponent. If he focused his mind on the good this would do ,instead of the bad, then He wouldn't pop up within his head again. Hoshi lept off the ground and balanced himself on the vampire's right shoulder. With all his might Hoshi landed on the floor ,with the grip on the vampires shoulder still there, Using all his momentum to spin the vampire once around and finally fling him into the wall of the house [187 speed/215 strength]. 

Though it wouldn't be fair too say the vampire was 'just thrown into a wall' As he ended up breaking through the wall of the house and flying outside a total distance of 121 metre's. The landing wouldn't be pleasant as it would kill a normal person. Yet leave a regenerating monster too regenerate from a near corpse state for at least 12 hours of unconsciousness. The Vampire ended up in a tree on the outskirts of a village. In pain and looking dead with 9/10 percent of his body missing yet he was still alive if barely hanging on whilst doing the slow process of regeneration. A sigh of relief went through Hoshi as he released the gates technique. Feeling a tinge of pain from using that kind of move on the vampire [72 speed/120 strength now], "You OK Zyxis? If you are then can someone else go to where I threw him and capture him yourselves? I'll feel bad about seeing him after throwing him with enough force to kill a normal person. Anyway it seemed to not collide with other buildings and people and entered the black forest and hit a tree. He may still be alive but now he would hardly be a threat."[his stats will be lower than 10 for the rest of the week with them currently being all 1 too keep himself alive] "For now I'm going too return home. This ended up being a pretty stressful day so i'll return home. Cya." Hoshi left threw the hole in the roof of the house he created and simply walked back home. The next day Hoshi received a parcel for his efforts. As a thanks from the people later found in the basement of the house by either another group or Zyxis/Hato. he did not know it was an actual mission they went on but if it was than he did well enough on it.
