The Watchman's Journey (Private)(WIP)

OOC Notes:

His meeting with Lord Hokage Ashi Inuzuka had gone as well as could be expected. The discussion wasn’t a very long one, just long enough for him to receive his latest mission. He hadn't anticipated this turn of events originally, but in the end, he didn't mind. It was more of a posting as opposed to a there and back mission. He was going to be leaving the village for an extended period of time, travelling to different countries. The missions he would be taking on would further the village’s interest not just at home, but in the world overall. Other than that, there was no specifics provided. He was given a couple days to pack and say his goodbyes before being sent out.


He had returned to the Hidemori compound and delivered the news to his parents. They were sad that Tokiatsu would be gone for the foreseeable future. Being shinobi as well though, they understood the importance of following orders and wished him well. The rest of his clan was just as understanding. They were excited for him, to be able to go on an adventure such as this. It was not a common occurrence for a shinobi to be allowed to assist the village from afar such as he had been ordered. Tokiatsu would spend some of the time with his family, to provide him with additional memories that he could look to during the time he was gone. The rest of the time was spent preparing for the mission itself. As he would be gone for an extended period of time, with no guarantee that he would always be in a civilised area, he had to make sure he had basic survival equipment. If he was to operate in a specific area for an extended period of time, it would make more sense to seek some form of natural shelter that he could develop into a semi-permanent residence, but that was long-term plans. For now, a tent would work fine. Some basic cooking tools, fire-starting equipment, bedding, basic rations, and his regular gear would be examined to make sure it was all in perfect condition for when he was ready to leave. Anything he wouldn’t immediately need he would place inside of his storage displacement.

Eventually, there was nothing left to do but to head out. Once he was ready to go. He would summon his friend Bossk the cobra from Ryuchi caves so that he would have a travelling companion. Bossk was also a great source of advice, so having him along would be ideal for when Tokiatsu wasn't sure of the approach to take. With all of his gear ready, and his reptilian friend loosely wrapped around his neck, Tokiatsu would make his way out of the Hidemori clan compound, towards the village gates, and out into Fire Country. There was no set destination right now, he was to explore Fire Country for now and ensure the country's well-being while he was out there.
