[size=41]Yen stated as he lead the way to the empty large range training ground. It spread a safe 100 meters from end to end. With a large  segment of tress and a man made stream going through the center. It was moreless an obsticle course. Which would make it efffective for higuto to use every spot and space to his disposal as he would see fit.[/size]


[size=41]"We will go by the standard rules. Subdue your opponent. The exception being i will use only some of my strength. And limit myself somewhat. One day you might get the chance to face close to my full force. But for now. You may take the next few minutes to prepare if you wish." [/size]


[size=41]Yen stated as if higuto needed to summon anything in this case yen would allow it.[/size]

Higuto was still very weak. He had trained by himself for a long time, building himself to be a better person, only to wind up with much left to accomplish and succeed in. His confidence had dwindled severely thanks to many mistakes he had made in the past and failures that happened because of them. Going into these next Chuunin exams he knew that, more than likely, there were going to be people there to watch who didn't believe in him. People who believed in him last exams and were probably woefully disappointed by how things turned out. In the battles to come Higuto could feel that he was going to be all alone against his opponents, or opponent if what happened last exams happened again, and that thought depressed him.

But now was not the time to mope. Yen was offering Higuto a chance to prove himself here. A pop quiz to prepare for the examination. Against Yen of all people, after seeing how their previous battle went, Higuto held very little doubt this match would end either with Higuto losing outright or him actually landing hits on Yen that did nothing. Higuto knew how tough the chief was. His Rasengan gave him a pretty good idea. However the battle with Yen didn't give Higuto much in the way of information on how Yen fought or what he could do. But, as Higuto had successfully hypothesized, Yen's main arsenal stemmed around jutsu usage. But what kind of jutsu? Ninjutsu? Genjutsu? It ashamed Higuto that he didn't know much about his chief which would cause him to chuckle before taking off his jacket and setting it down beside a nearby tree.

"Well then..."

With that he would place a foot on the tree and kick off it to jump back, doing a few flips whilst in the air, and land on a patch of land of the field about 20 meters away from Yen's position as he got into a fighting stance. The T shirt he wore underneath his jacket, black in color, did nothing to hide the locket that he always wore which hung at the center of his chest.

"Here goes nothing."

He would wait to see what Yen did as he stayed within his stance and stared at Yen's body.

So by this higuto decided to not nessarily grab anything in particular. But seemed as if all intensive purposes he was willing to face off as it was. So as higuto was flipping in the air at 42 speed till he was 20 meters away. (Granted you will be moving at jumping speed due to hopping. Via strength+speed/4.. meaning your jumping speed is basically 42 lol.)

 Yen would simply activate the water trident technique. Granting him a signifigant boost in speed and his duribility respectfully. As it wouldnt require a single handseal it was pretty much unoticeable. ( +30 to speed and health, final speed 52, final health: 130, new rt: 137)

  Well there was no real harm with that. As yen would keep to the slow movement while higuto was in the air too much fancy movement only meant he would be punished severly if yen was an actual rival. Still he was going to presdure the geninn.


 Raising his left hand and revealing his bare hand at a speed of 1, and showing a thumbs up with his  left hand. His knuckles would be  facing higuto however revealing the back of his bare hand.  While his right hand dangled  at his side a bit still covered by his cloak.  Hiding the fact that he was indeed much faster at the current moment. It was all done as higuto landed  a good  20 meters away.  Out of Which in his words was the "danger zone." There would be a small tweeting of 3 birds 3 meters behind higuto which yen took great interest into.  And the repeated taps of a woodpecker nearby. Although he would not reveal it.

Well i guess ill start then... to show you victory means that you must take initative higuto. This means do not always assume the reactive senario...


Yen thought as he observed higuto's  eyes.  As it was noted they were locked onto his body, or in this case keeping his left hand in the perepheral vision.  In case of course there were any unusual motions.  Something  that genjutsu users like himself keep track of. Where an person is looking, and how far are their opponents. In this case this was the perfect position to show higuto an opening motion. So with a simple extention of his  left index finger at a speed of 22 as higuto finished speaking pointed directly at the boy.  This would activate the genjutsu known as ephermal on the geninn. Should of course  he would be somehow  looking at his left hand. 


This would be a bad sign for the  for the geninn as the poor geninn was in for a nasty shock. The illusion was instantanious as he would then be left unaware of what is happening in the  real world. (Ephermal: power:70, release requirements:52.)

The sound of the three birds fluttering away a 3 meters behind the geninn. And the wood pecker would suddenly stop tapping.  As the scene would look the exact same.  That would perhaps be the only mishapping detail for the moment. The illusion of yen would have his index finger pointed at higuto. And would at the seemingly slow speed of yens normal movement of 22 speed. He would begin to weave hand seals in an order of (ox, boar, tiger, rat, dragon,) and would if higuto was  going to stand there simply spit out a  lightning fast stream of water that would be aimed directly towards the geninn. Thich would expand after 10 meters into a roaring wave of water.  Which would expand by 10  meters each meter.

 However, in reality yen would do something quiet diffrent. Weaving a single clone seal seal yen would create 8 haze clones amid the now thick mist he would simotaniously create. Covering 50  meters sorrounding the  pair. The mist around higuto would be thin allowing him 5 meters of vision in any direction. The haze clones would spread out into 4 pairs. Hiding in the thick mist 1 meter apart.  As 1 pair would walk backwards away from where yen was. Two would head  towards the thin mist area sorrounding higuto.  While the third pair would stand 1 meter where yen was.  The fourth pair would be  to the far left of yen. (Hidden mist: speed reaction time) ( haze clones: 8. Die in a single hit. Move at a speed of 10)

Higuto, whilst in the air in the time he had, could see Yen activate a jutsu that seemingly made his skin look wet. This was a new technique to Higuto, which surprised him considering his affinity was water, as he made his landing successfully in the spot he had intended. Getting into his fighting stance he decided that he was going to try a stance he had read in a book was really good in using for someone with high speed and practicing Taijutsu. He separated his feet apart, one in front of his body and one behind, as he crouched a little bit while shifting his torso sideways as to make himself a tiny bit smaller a target. He would then bring his left hand behind his back, balling it into a fist, and his right hand up to be level with his face while extending his fingers to point directly towards Yen. He would get into this stance at a speed of 50 while keeping his eyes focused on Yen... which proved to be a mistake as he noticed Yen bring up a hand and point to Higuto.

Immediately Higuto was warned by his insects within him, his chakra flaring up, as he became aware that he had been caught in a Genjutsu. The moment he felt himself get caught he quickly staunched and slowed the flow of chakra within him before allowing his body to relax and push his chakra outward. His chakra now stabilized Higuto would then take a deep breath before tensing his legs.

"My turn."

Before Yen could get his hands up to form the Tiger seal Higuto would then charge forth, max speed, as his legs carried him like a blur while he kept his left hand behind his back and right hand down low to the ground. Upon reaching 10 meters of Yen he would form the three hand seals of ox, rabbit, and monkey with his left hand as in his right hand a strong electrical blue glow of chakra would form all around it. Keeping an eye on Yen, this time making certain to keep his eyes around his torso rather than his hands, he would charge the rest of the way straight at Yen while keeping his hand back ready to strike. He had a feeling that this wouldn't really do much to Yen but he at least had to test waters as he brought his hand forth towards Yen's torso once he was 2 meters away.

Thus higuto began his motions as yen was preparing to weave his seals. One such thing is that yen had mastered the hidden mist respectfully so he hardly needed to use a seal. (lol) but the genjutsu did its thing. It stopped higuto for but an instant as he was flaring his chakra and all. As this was genjutsu in a nutshell. Putting an additional step between a persons actions. Making them releaseva genjutsu, so they must simply be eternally weary of their approach
 Thus granting yen time to set up other things. For example when higuto began to finally move at full speed. 

Yes he did weave his seals and started up tje chidori. However,  higuto's quick motions merely were nearing a blur to the aburame, and they didnt really matter to him. still it was a lesson to be learned which yen pretty much made sure to teach people  blur or not. Or speedy motions or not. A person is still in the same boat.

Good good. Very well then time to see what he can do now.

Yen thought as he breathed out the mist, as in its inital form it was thin and granted higuto visual of yen although misty. And he began to take the first steps of running as Higuto would be  at 8 meter mark. At a speed of 52. But yen would  Hardly making even 1ft  mark. By this time higuto would be tentering the 3 meter mark. But higuto at this time would learn an terrible truth. Yen would not be needing a single handseal to use it. As it was mastered, but for all the aburame would know  it would be because of the mist. As it was the beginning of one of yens least known genjutsu. Mad world. (Power: 110 release requirements: 82 chakra.)


 A grey wave would expand from yen it was a part of one of his trickiest genjutsu's and hence higuto would see it. But itvwould be way too late by then.  As the trigger in fact was occular, due to if anyone was looking at any part of yen  within a 50 meters sorrounding him. And since higuto was 3 meters away at this point.

The grey wave even if hig tried to out run it would pass through him. Doing nothing. It was a visual trick of course. Something like a super advanced medical jutsu, or some ninjutsu. In fact it would be the instant higuto was looking at yen. That things went south really fast.

This  leading to the first effect of the genjutsu. All movement would be reversed. So forward would require a person moving backwards, and vicea versa. Left becomes right, and the oppisite same for left. Up is down, down is up. The firections would be completely scrambled here.

Yet with this in mind higuto would still be aware of his sorroundings and such. Meaning as he would make his next step thanks to the genjutsu. He would be instantaniously forced to take a step back by moving forward. This sudden jermotion despite  the lightning blade and all that jazz.  Would send the boy toppling forward and into the dirt face forward. As his motions were suddenly  scrambled. Heck by even trying to move his arms up. His arms would need to be pushed back and forward to break his fall.  As the same hope of weaving any seals, yet alone reaching for that trusty locket of his.

Yet yen would've reached higuto by the time he fell down onto his face. Which made the next move easy. As yens left hand would brush higuto's back particuarly the spine. Which would in turn activate another technique. This one medical in nature. It was known as the body pathway derangement technique. (Power:85). 

In the simplist terms higuto while limbs being messed with in the genjutsu, would unfortuniatly find that due to tjis technique. He would be unable to move his limbs at all even should he break suscesdfully free from the genjutsu. Quiet unfortunate. As it would mess up the brain communication between the limbs. Temporarily. (Eh 5 posts)

All in all this would leave higuto on the ground flopping like a fish out of water.   Of course if it all went through. He would just be able to blink and breath, and speak. As yen would speak to the boy. Not a single seal would serve him.

"There is at times. Where if you simply start weaving seals running at a guy. That warrents an easy but quick response to send a person to the ground. Nice and easy. The danger of this as you probbably see is aparent higuto. Decisive actions are needed. Not simply running towards a person. As you learned a genjutsu can be done in any simple motion. There are many ways i can lock you down as well. That is why you never really try a direct approach till you see everything."

Higuto had been charging forth towards Yen, Chidori freshly made within his right hand, before catching Yen blowing out a mist that spread way quicker than Yen himself could move. Higuto immediately was able to register this as the Hidden Mist technique that could mask one's presence completely by way of their physical body and chakra aptitudes. Taking this into account, being that Higuto was going to wind up being the sitting duck between the two, he thus stopped directly at the 8 meter mark that Yen had chosen to wait for him to get to to use the mist technique as his Chidori fizzed out and with his left hand still behind his back formed a Tiger seal. Copying Yen from said position with his superior speed he concentrated his chakra and thus blew out a thick mist as well, expanding out faster then Yen's, along with using water from the nearby stream to help add to it all. The two mists would overlap along each other and expand to cover the two shinobi within it's thick confines. This would allow him to also be out of sight from Yen's eye as well as sensory which caused Higuto to feel a little safer.

Settling into his fighting stance upon finishing forming his thick mist Higuto knew that fighting with his eyes wasn't going to be happening anytime soon so he decided to close them in order to allow his sense of hearing to take the wheel. Upon doing so small black beetles crawled quickly and quietly out from beneath the hems of his shorts before making their way to crawl along the ground and roam the area in search of anything suspicious. As they did so Higuto would remain still, concentrating on the area around him, to make certain he couldn't get detected by sound himself.

Higuto possibly to yens perspective perhaps thought it was unwise to approach any further. Then again. The straight forward charge method was not often the wisest motion. Even if faster. Still this meant yen did not activate mad world or the body pathway derangement technique. Since higuto did not reach the 3 meter mark. So he observed as higuto proceeded to stop, the crackling lightning stopped from higuto's hand thus signaling end of his technique. Through the thin mist and with a simple motion yen caught the  glimps of an instant. The tiger seal. Before the mist thickened blocking his vision

Well that works, but higuto.


Yen thought as he merely weaved an ox hand seal at the speed of 52.  By this time higuto would be proceeding to close his eyes, and concentrating for sound. Well it was the only logical thing to do, but yen had a solid lock on higuto as he was stationary with the most familiar humming sound of his insects. Standing still 8 meters away.

The ideal distance for a simple technique yen posessed. Thus after weaving the ox seal yen merely clapped his hands together. As the sound would be heard as far as 25 meters away from yen. But this case it was a,sound based illusion. Known as the cat genjutsu.

With that higuto would find himself trapped in a world full of yowling cats as they yowled, and hissed at him. Their yellow eyes gleaming with a crule intent as their claws bare and sharp. They moved with an unatural agility. (Speed: 71) and their claws had an equal in sharpness in it as well. (Sharpness: 71) as they would upon the hundreds converge on the geninn aburame from all directions save immediatly behind him. Of course attempting to scratch and claw at the boy. (Cat genjutsu: power:70. Chakra req to release: 52)

In the meantime in reality.  without hesitation and delay yen would spit out 4 double netted webs with a .5 diameter towards higuto. Granted as higuto would be preoccupied with the sound genjutsu. He would not hear a single web being shot. [size=30] As each one would be aimed at diffrent locations. 1 towards higuto' left hip, 1, his right hip, confensating any weapons from being drawn, the third to higuto's right leg attatching to the ground so he would be unable to move from the spot, and finally the 4th one would be aimed at the spot between higuto's feet. The webbing catching his feet, and his insects which were crawling out. Like bugs to fly paper. ( spider web flower: power:69 speed: 50, health:60, power, scalong, lord of the insects, +10 power and speed to insect and web tecs, advanced infusion: +10 ninjutsu power, mastery: power: +9)[/size]

Should the webs hit higuto would be bound in place. Needing a strength stat higher then the power of the webs to move. (Power: 69). As each limb hit wouldcrespectively suffer an -10 in speed as well. And well his weapons (if any) would well require the same strength to even draw. (69)

With that yen woulcalmly await higuto's next move as it was going to be curious to see how the geninn reacts. As this,would be tough to avoid. For je neither could see, nor tell what is comming. Thus,sheer luck is never something to count on.

Lets see what he does here....

Higuto stood there, his insects in the process of leaving his body, before he heard a clap somewhere in the distance which confused him as he knew Yen to be only 8 meters away rather than 25. He didn't have long to ponder this as his insects once again alerted him that he was trapped in a genjutsu but, upon opening his eyes, he found he was actually in a very familiar genjutsu. And his insects already knew exactly what to do. All the insects that Higuto had released had still been resting upon his legs as they all began to feed Higuto's chakra their own chakra. They did so immediately, allowing Higuto to be able to awaken from his dream state, just as he opened his eyes in the real world to see webs close to hitting him.

Taking these webs into account he quickly stepped over to his side avoiding the webs while retaining his stance. It was amazing Yen was still able to detect Higuto from within the mist and Higuto felt it was now time to up the ante a bit. With his chakra still hidden within his mist he took his locket into his hand and pressed it as a light began to envelop around Higuto. His chakra burst and his senses sharpened as he began to form seals quickly within the mist. Upon doing so clouds would quickly begin to form over them as a diluge of rain would fall. Higuto started planning inside his head on how best to proceed from here as he had the distinct feeling Yen would be on guard now and he needed to find the right moment to strike.

the rustling of leaves as higuto stepped over was an apparent sign that the aburame played smart. He was moving, and yet this showed yen that higuto was playing a smart game of reacting.

yen thought as he began to pool chakra into his feet as he began to sink into the ground preforming the hididng like mole technique, as higuto would be reaching up to his locket. (hiding like mole: speed 40, power 40) as he was sinking into the ground somewhere in the distance of 8 or so meters.  There was a distinct flash of light. bright enough to catch the one eyed aburame's sight. Without hesitating he simply weaved the clone handseal as the top of his head would sink into the dirt and 1 meter in front of where he did stand.  Was a single shadow clone. appearing as the sudden rain would begin to decend on the position. But yen having already at this time decended into the earth. Would not be noticed. (shadow clone: Stats below)

 but being now underground yen would not be detected by the Jr aburames rain tiger at will taking note of the sudden rain and how it was clear previously. He concluded as much, and how would he know such a technique. Once upon a time he used it himself. It was a terrific technique to keep tabs on individuals. until they disappeared somewhere. But here yen would be able to detect higuto clearly underground. But should it have been noted by the  aburame he would only notice the clone. and not the aburame down underground a good 6 meters now. 

Using this cover the original would end the water trident technique not needing to use it initially, For it was time to begin the more intermediate part of higuto's test.(water trident ending now to well prevent double boosting from occuring.) 

Now was time to simply increase his parameters up a bit more.  with a weaving of a few hand seals (dragon, ram, ox, rabbit) the motions obviously not seen, heard, or otherwise detected by higuto due to yen being underground. His chakra upon the last handseal would surge to incredible hights, but due to hidden mist well higuto would not  detect the surge, but so would his speed. As it was now detecting evn higuto's new speed which would've been  otherwise undetectable to yen. Although his body would not visibly change. like bulking of muscles or other typically obvious things. It was the simple pinnicle of chakra control. (Body of yin: Speed +70, chakra +70, final speed: 92, final chakra: 195, final Reaction time: 177)

With this all in tow yen would simply proceed to advance to under where higuto would be located traveling at the hiding like mole speed of 40.  staying a steady 6 meters below the ground. Obviously sensing everything on the surface.

The clone in the meantime would be jogging towards where the flash of light was originally.

The moment he had summoned forth his rain Higuto had heard a sharp and loud "poof" around the location where Yen had been. Did he use a smoke bomb? Pointless considering they were surrounded in mist. More than likely he had summoned a shadow clone which was not uncommon for Jounin to know. Higuto stood there, the light of his chakra shrouding the outline of his body in a glorious blue, as an aura also surrounded him of the sane color. Knowing Yen he was on the move as he had been throughout the entire match. If Higuto didn't take initiative soon things were going to only become more and more difficult. Even the insects still on his legs seemed anxious. He would need to use his best advantages against Yen if he wanted to show him what he could do and, win or lose, he would leave everything he knew out on that field.

Taking that thought into account he deactivated his mist jutsu, the rain now serving Higuto's intended purposes, as he got low into a crouch and prepared to to move. However just before he could he froze, his eyes widened and his mouth slightly agape, as pain suddenly wracked his body. His hands gripped his chest as he collapsed onto his knees as he tried to stifle his screams of pain. The bright and powerful aura that had been surrounding him was starting to turn as Higuto clawed at the ground with one hand, his fingers digging into the dirt and mud, as he tried to understand what was happening. He hadn't felt this way in a while... Not since...

"No... Not now... Not here!"

The aura shifted and seemingly started to twist around Higuto's body, slowly changing to something darker and more sinister, as he continued to squirm along the ground. The aura had now turned to a dark crimson and the shroud along his outline had turned violet as Higuto got to his feet. Higuto would then speak again, speaking in deeper tones, as he had his eyes closed though with a big smile on his face.

"You're too slow and boring. It's my turn now."

He would then open his eyes, irises now changed to shades of blood red and observing his surroundings, as he prepared for whatever Yen had planned.
