Blister (Private)

A sharp yawn escaped from her lungs, and Amaterasu Meijin found herself, once again, on a familiar rooftop overlooking the black market town. It was a slow and dreary day, and the young girl had nothing to do- yesterday, both her and her traveling partner, Toshizou, had trained fire release and other techniques until they nearly collapsed. Her muscles and chakra coils still burned, and she found herself in the mood to do something relatively simple and non taxing. There was an E rank jutsu- Fire Stream- that she had intended to learn, but she never found the time. Maybe she could work on it now? It had a half tiger seal, making it very easy to cast, and the chakra cost was minuscule as well. She had a scroll for the technique floating around somewhere... She reached into the pockets of a thick winter coat she had nagged her older brother figure into buying and began to root through various knives, wires, and slips of paper before pulling out a small scroll. It was around two and a half inches wide, and when she unfurled it, the parchment stretched to about six inches long. The item was difficult to read, but... It seemed to depict just channeling chakra into her lungs, forming the seal, and exhaling. That was no different from the more complex techniques she had learned previously.

The twelve year old inhaled deeply, channeling her burning fire affinity up through her veins and into the blood surrounding her lungs. She held it for a few seconds, feeling it saturate until it was chokingly thick, before forming a half tiger seal and blowing all the air from her chest. A small cone of fire roughly the size of her person exited her lungs. Was that it? It was very unimpressive. Oh well. Maybe she could try overloading it sometime in a small stakes fight? The Meijin clung to the walls after that using chakra, carefully making her way down the wall until she was back at ground level. After that, she began the long and arduous walk back to the inn where both she and her travelling partner were staying for the night. Amaterasu pushed open a thick wooden door with creaky hinges and nodded simply at the receptionist. Next, she turned left, walking up a massive and narrow flight of stairs to reach her room. She flung the door open, placed the coat gently on the back of the chair placed awkwardly next to a squeaky cot, and sat down on the bed. She piled blankets and pillows around herself, the itchy texture doing little to help curb her drowsiness, and drifted off into a restless sleep.
