Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Looking over his shoulder, with his right hand still tightly gripping the bandage wrapped handle of his sword, his left releasing the Raikage, the Hiyu would watch as the Stranger proved himself to be a man of his word. He was not here to stand on ceremony nor to sit idle and trade words. He was here to shed blood, which was made abundantly clear upon striking a battle ready stance that involved him bending his knee and extending his shoulder forward, clearly indicating to the Hound of Kiri that much like Max, words would not persuade this individual whom was intent on seeing his purpose fulfilled. It was quite clear that the Behemoth now found himself suck between a rock and a hard place. Now entirely surrounded by enemies, to his back there was the enemy village that he had just conquered, most likely ready to seek vengeance at any moment. Before him, a behemoth in his own right, at the ready to pounce. A situation that left the Hiyu with a bad taste in his mouth, an altercation he had to get out of, immediately.

Before Kutari finished positioning his shoulder forward, Nobunaga's body would instantly erupt in golden flames, cloaking his massive frame in flickering Bijuu chakra. Kutari's challenge was heard loud and clear and the stance the Uchiha decided to strike was the bell that indicated the fight had commenced. Everything would happen at once, Nobunaga immediately noticing Jiro shifting his weight ever so slightly to begin rising from his kneeling position and Kutari shifting his weight to pounce towards his fellow clansmen while the Hiyu who always kept one foot ahead of the other in a swordsman ready stance simultaneously transmuted his entire body into a bolt of lighting at head level. Aiming to put as much distance between him and the two different factions of enemies that surrounded him, Nobunaga would quite literally bolt to his right, thus moving to the left of both Uchiha's and running parallel alongside the gates of Kumo. With his speed being enhanced to extraordinary levels, the Hunter Operative would swiftly avoid the inevitable attack that was being spawned on the location he once held. With the bubble of chakra forming behind him now being avoided, the speedy lighting bolt continued moving away from both the chakra bubble and the enemies that were now engaging each other.

The lighting bolt Hiyu would travel 50 meters to his right and thus putting about 55 meters of difference between him and the Stranger before taking back his original form. The swamp that ensnared the Kumo shinobi would dry up and solidify as the the golden clocked black swordsman cut off its supply of chakra and continued using the momentum of his lightning bolt jutsu to now move his feet and continue heading in the same direction. Unknowingly, the Hiyu would do exactly as the main forces of Kiri had done back in Suna. Retreat.

Using the 55 meters of separation to his advantage, the Hiyu would keep his eyes on the battle taking place behind him and his senses on high alert all around him as he headed off towards the rot fields, leaving the crippled Max and the remaining shinobi under his watch to deal with the new threat that now stood before their gates. Hopefully they could prove that they were a village worth being under the one banner of Kiri, show that they were worth of being conquered, by learning from their mistakes and dealing with the threat before them, with better results than they had in dealing with Nobunaga.

Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Sun Sep 08, 2019 12:45 am
Jiro had arrived to the scene 24 meters away, when kneeling, from Hato. He was being a bit arrogant as normal by trying to size up to him. Nobu didn't take that very lightly and basically telling him to shut up. Hato would probably laugh if she wasn't aggravated by the events happening. She would hope that the tyrant would just have their way with them and be done with it. However, nothing ever turns out well when Kiri is involved.

Suddenly, a voice came from behind Nobu. It seemed to be a powerful shinobi as Hato could feel his power, however couldn't see him due to Nobu being in the way. But she could hear him. It was another person, 14 meters away from Hato, that wanted to have a piece of Kumo. Hato was feeling like a part of a shitty pie. Nobu seemed to be satisfied and told that he was done with the village right after he threw the kage. The mysterious figure wasn't satisfied with that however.

Nobu's attention was on Kutari, so Hato found this would be a good time to make her move. She would quickly activate her vampiric dynasty as the conversation between the two started. Then, Hato would gather chemicals from her body and unleash it from her mouth with the intent to strike Nobu with it. The purple cloud would launch out of her mouth at a speed of 60. It would create a wall of poison 5m wide upon exiting. At the same time as she was doing that, she weaved a single hand sign for Hidden Mist. It would travel out her her mouth at the same time as the poison mist, yet it was much slower at 20 speed. The mist would form before her in a way to conceal her figure, which was only 1.78 meters, from any dojutsu either of them had. By the time the time gas escaped her mouth, Nobu had transformed into his bijuu form.

Suddenly, Nobu turned into a burst of lightning and transported to the left about 50 meters. Hato still couldn't see Kutari because the gases had already concealed her vision. However, she saw Nobu appear at his new, further location. At the same time, she realized that she was free of the jutsu as there was no chakra flowing through. She immediately weaved a hand sign for body flicker right after Nobu transported. She would travel directly backwards at 300 speed, where there wasn't a shinobi in the way and the enterance to the village was right behind her. She would end 60 meters from the cloud of mist and poison, 74 meters away from Kutari.

From the vampire's new location, she would soon get away, further into the village. She needed to get to safety.

Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Ares knew what mess he got himself in the moment he decided to act on Nobunaga’s demand of Kumogakure’s surrender in the hope to save Maximillian. The young shinobi could feel himself getting caught in the swamp and as a natural reflex he quickly grabbed his sword and put his arms up, struggling but to no avail. He wasn’t going anywhere soon. For some reason Ares decided to let wind chakra flow through his body making his skin slightly pale in case he would find an opportunity to break free. But unfortunately there was not much he could do at the time.

Next to him, a couple of meters on his right side there was Hato. A couple of meters in front of them there would be Nobunaga. Not long after another Kumogakure shinobi decided to join the scene, making Ares wonder what exactly it was this new individual was trying to achieve. Ares would use this time to look behind him, calculating how much distance there was between the village entrance and himself. If there was an opportunity to get out he figured he should consider his options. And if it would come to that Ares decided that he wouldn’t run back to the village. Maybe they would be able to save Maximillian now that Nobunaga’s wish had been granted, the surrender of Kumogakure. But alas, it would seem things could get worse than they already were.

Suddenly a new challenger appeared out of nowhere. Hiding until he saw the moment fit he finally decided to make his appearance. It was clear that he hadn’t come to their aid as he directed himself towards Nobunaga. From how the stranger spoke Ares could derive that the man might as well be one of the missing ninja who were on the move and had occupied Sunagakure not too long ago. Which could only mean one thing, Kumogakure was next. What was the saying again for when things keep going wrong? Exactly, quite the situation they were in. From trying to save Maximillian they had ended up with now two dangerous opponents in front of them, Kutari keeping his 20 meter distance from Nobunaga.

The warrior from Kirigakure had probably noticed the danger as well as he claimed that his business with the people from Kumogakure was done. But before he finished speaking Nobunaga had already cancelled his jutsu and a possible moment for Ares to get out had arrived. More so since it was obvious it wasn’t an answer that would satisy Kutari who had started bending his knees and extending his shoulder forward aiming himself towards Jiro. It would be a sign that the challenger wouldn’t just let this slide. Before Kutari finished positioning his shoulder forward Ares got out and would try and make his escape.

In front of him Kutari, Nobunaga and Jiro. Behind him the village gates. To his right Hato, so Ares would turn to his left. With no obstacles in his line of vision he would then form the Ram hand seal. Ares’ Body Flicker would put him 285 meters away from his original position and he would keep running farther away. Away from the village.

Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Jiro only needed to turn his face inches to note that the man who was speaking had  moved from his distance of 5 meters. (I know where Kutari is because he is speaking.) With great worry for his own safety  the Uchiha would use the power bequeathed by his right and left eye to take his leave. (With Kutari’s 260 speed he would only have moved about a foot by the time I could see he had moved, 100 speed moving of face 4 inches as I am standing and turning my face all at once as a single motion.  The power of Jiro’s right eye knew the location of Kiseragi and he was nowhere within the vicinity of the village to stop the threats in Kumo, so Jiro would have to take his own actions.

As soon  as he noted the speaker (Kutari) had moved  the space around Jiro would swirl and lead him into the vaults of Kumogakure two miles away from the location of the gates. (125 speed ) (Should escape as the gap between myself and Kutari is 15ft when this happens. ) The powers of his right eye told him the chakra signatures he knew were nowhere around  to stop what he had planned.

Taking a quick look around the office to see if anyone was capable of stopping him. If no one was around he would open the door to the vaults of Kumogakure. Once inside he would pick up the sacks of money stored within and use the power of his right eye to travel safely into his dimension with the bags of money he had just acquired. [i]Half of this is Suna’s I will not let this fall into the hands of Kiri and whoever else was here to attack. It is better I take  it then leave it here for the demons to line their own pockets.

Ok, sorry for the wait, after an extreme game of hot potato between staff, I was given the task of figuring out this issue. So yeah.... yay me. Anyways, after reading this over multiple times and reaching out to multiple other sources to confirm, I have decided to rule in Kutari's favor in this situation. For those of you who want a full explanation, I am going to give it to you here. So here it goes.

The full explanation:

That being said, we will continue with Kutari's post as of now. If anyone has any questions or concerns on this, feel free to reach out to me.

Sorry everyone.

Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Sun Oct 06, 2019 3:50 pm
As the deceitful wraith sprang into action anticipating an upcoming battle worth relishing in, he’d find himself to be dissatisfied to say the very least as he faced little resistance. The village he came to conquer after hearing such tales from his ally Kenshin would be more pitiful then what he was initially led on to believe, for a moment doubting the extent of Kenshin’s sanity to consider such beings as pest - the masses falling with but a puff of air, a poor sight unbecoming of what was to be a “major” village. Kutari would tear through the barren wasteland as he came in contact with the target before him that wished to rise from his kneeling position, the already on edge Shinobi having no interest in the parlor tricks of this enemy village. With a swift and deft swing of his blade, Kutari would intend to connect with his target by beheading the foe, however as his blade made contact he’d note the man’s presence beginning to deteriorate spontaneously, lightly reacting to Kutari’s movements by traveling in some manner he wasn’t aware of. Though the physical cues of this predicament remained clear and gave Kutari the context he needed to react accordingly to finish off his foe, with the intended contact of his blade to the man’s flash he’d redirect his weaponry to cut the man from what still remained; performing a vertical bisection on the individual in question from his neck down, severing the brittle man’s heart in half alongside all the bodily mass which lay in his path down to the loins before the blade would conclude it’s purposes.

Kutari would confirm this action of cutting the man in half vertically, or at the very least what remained as he began his transportation to another space. It was a curiosity that this man he killed would be one of Kutari’s brethren, witnessing the Sharingan’s presence as the fellow Uchiha concluded his turn. To think those of the Uchiha clan deviated so greatly from the originating village, he would question the extent to which his Mangekyou’s ability would reach, though it mattered not in this instance never being able to verify it’s contents. The swirling motion would still continue however, despite Kutari severing the man in half and concluding he reached his untimely demise as he transported away, figuring he’d never see the man again followed by disappointment he couldn’t secure the body.

As this interaction with the man took place, the behemoth before him which interested Kutari the most would seem to have no interest in his life whatsoever or at the very least not reacted in proper time. To which the Uchiha would be met with a vast irritation, as the appetizers within the vicinity couldn’t compare to the expectation he found in this one opponent. Alas, the pre-conqueror of this village would fall as well, Kutari using Ogachi in his intended time and seeing the man stand there and be attacked and killed by his jutsu. The others who remained in the mud would also perish in a similar fashion with their methods to fight back futile as Kutari intended it to be, though he preserved the Raikage’s life as he needed him for the future. The swamp would be attacked by Ogachi as well to make sure the Raikage lived if he stayed for too long to put the boy Raikage’s life in jeopardy.

In short time, the battlefield would be riddled with corpses missing a particular one that attempted to flee and succeeded to a degree still losing their life in the process, with the conclusion of these events leaving a poor taste in Kutari’s mouth. After traveling to Kumogakure in hopes of an enticing battle to transpire, he was met with an abysmal bout to be had, if anything target practice. The Uchiha’s combative interests failed to be satisfied after such a prolonged period of time, waiting patiently for the time to find a worthy foe only to be met with subpar appetizers. He looked ahead at the gathered villagers likely submerging themselves in almighty tomes and prayerful wishes, hoping to come across some form of a miracle to counteract their suggested fate. A bored expression would meet the villagers, one incapable of being deciphered by the masses as to whether their new champion embodied the epitome of bloodlust or not. To be frank, Kutari cared little for Kumogakure at that time nor had an interest in partaking in genocide reminiscent of Sunagakure; though his moral compass remained absentminded, the efforts to go through such an act during his depression were overwhelming. Furthermore, his entire purpose of being received by Kumogakure would be to help Kenshin obtain some form of satisfaction after the atrocity which was Sungakure - he had no use for the village if they were dead.

Though as much as Kutari wished to offer the village to Kenshin as a trophy to do as he will, the Uchiha would be met with a difficult crossroad as he stared down the village before him, his senses heightened and aware of the area around as he remained in enemy territory. Upon arrival, Kumogakure was already conquered by another warrior, the current Raikage defeated in combat with the attacker seeming to be barely wounded, to which now Kutari was the victor. What’s more, there’d be a college of bodies now, indicating there was little to no support or combative presence for the village whatsoever. He had no clue as to how long Kenshin was battling Kumogakure, however it seemed as if the current version of this village was laughable compared to its former glory similar to Sunagakure. Though he valued Kenshin as an ally, Kutari’s sole purpose in life would be to find a worthy opponent to battle and one day perish in the battlefield with a smile upon his face, finding his twin flame in combative leverage and exiting from this realm. Though from the current trend, it seemed the major villages of this day and age were poor in quality, with the direction they were heading all the villages would be destroyed before finding a combatant of the proper aptitude. This idea saddened Kutari greatly, wondering why he would even attempt to continue on if this reality remained.

The assassin would fumble with his thoughts brainstorming a method to overcome the deficiency of what he longed for, in which a peculiar suggestion traversed his mindscape: What if he were to nurture the village himself, prolonging their longevity like a babysitter in hopes of breeding a worthy foe? This role would conflict some of the beliefs he held for the village system as a whole, sustaining its existence instead of destroying it, however it’s clear at this point the village system would be failing itself nurturing no worthy combatants. He’d effectively be a babysitter, however his desperation would align accordingly with the village’s own desperation, an odd mentality to adopt to produce rather than destroy. Would it truly be optimal to support this deteriorating society in favor of his own selfish desires, or should he simply follow his original mindset and destroy such establishments? He remained troubled in this encounter of philosophy, questioning whether he even had the right to perform the role of God, abandoning that mentality he formulated into his core so long ago.

As he continued to question these series of events, the very idea of supporting a village for the time being baffling, his curiosity would surely be stimulated. He owed nothing to this village nor cared for their own personal feelings, solely wishing to support his own, however for the time being he considered the possibility as he went to the position of the warrior and Raikage once they were all defeated. The spoils of war were always enjoyable to come upon, placing the warrior in one of his corpse scrolls and placing it in storage displacement alongside the items and money he had on him. He moved on quickly, effectively forgetting about the man and the anticipation he held up to that point as it amounted to nothing. Kutari would do the same action with the other male he killed that was in the swamp after picking up the Raikage and taking him as well, picking up the intriguing sword the male had beside him and replacing that with the sword he obtained from Alice long ago, putting said sword and the corpse scroll in storage displacement as well. The woman he killed that seemed to have some sass behind her would just be placed in storage displacement for the time being, of course this process of storage displacing all happening so long as his actions were uninterrupted or another force came into play.

With the Raikage now by his side facing the village, he’d be met by a very uneasy deja vu as he addressed the village to answer their silenced questions, a dull irritation and boredom as he projected his voice, “By chance, does your village have any other Champions worthy of fighting? My time here has been quite disappointing so far. I can’t promise I won’t try to kill them, but at the very least show me your village is worth something.” He’d idolly look over at the Raikage in boredom, studying his appearance and condition. It’s clear he was beaten quite heavily and would perish unless taken to be treated and sustained, though there was still time.

With all his jutsu turned back off already after the enemy was defeated and some moments afterwards when no other oppression came to attack, he’d reach for one of his military ration pills to replenish some of his stamina, utilizing so many jutsu in such a short time frame a pain. Speaking again as he consumed the ration pill, “Ah, I suppose you lot should come take this one beside me for the time being to heal him, you know he could die pretty soon while y’all just sat and watched. Though he was beaten so easily and looks to be nothing more than a child, I question just how poor of a state your village is in. For these reasons and due to my takeover of this village, I’m officially revoking his position of Raikage. I’ll will be staying here for the time being and will notify you all what this means shortly. Though before such a time...you there, come fetch this one and take him to a healer if you have any hopefully, I’ll be visiting shortly. And if you try to help him escape, you will die as well.” He’d point to one of the onlookers at the village gate to take the Raikage to be healed. His Mangekyou ripples intimidating the viewers to where they know what’ll happen if they refused, the young girl shakily traversing the terrain to obtain the boy and take him away.

Kutari would wait for her to make the small distance, before looking out to the crowd, “So...Any challengers? At least one strong member of this wasteland that could entertain me?” The crazed looks and stiff silence would tell Kutari this may take awhile, and he had no intent on waiting forever. He still had to inform Kenshin of where he went, and what was going on but needed time to do so.

Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Finally free again.

The massive demon slug, one hundred meters long and fifty meters tall would form a bit away from the corpse of it’s previous prison. To elaborate, the beast would be facing the one who killed it’s container, the attacker sixty meters away from the beasts closest part to him. It would be obvious to anyone alive and watching what was occurring, since nothing could hide that much chakra moving and forming into a mass. Saiken however would carefully watch the man who stood victorious thus far. Would he come to for it as well? Of course, it’s kind were prizes to be fought over and won after all. Used as mere tools for their captors wanton lust for power. It had begun to like it’s previous container though, Nobunaga. It had simply cooperated with him for mutual gain before. Giving its power in the hopes that one day it’s own desires could be fulfilled. A symbiotic relationship, and not simply a parasitic one. This man though, would he be similar to Nobunaga? He was stronger, obviously, but would he be different? Did those who held power have similar stripes to one another? Of course, Saiken would rather not found out. It would rather leave, and hope to hide for a while. It wanted to roam the world again, at least for a while before the next onrush of those wanting to imprison it came.

It had been a long time since it had felt the world beneath it. It felt good, to once more have contact with the outside. To feel the wind against its body, the strength of the world beneath its mass. It wanted more, it wanted to be free. So if this contender tried to take it. Then Saiken would do everything in its power to dissuade him of the notion. Be in peaceably, or by dissolving him into a puddle, to become one with the mud, blood, and grime that surrounded the village nearby. Of course, if the swordsman let it go, then the beast would be willing to simply slither away. Freedom after all, was precious, and the most important thing to those who do not have it.

Night of the Ironborn - Page 4 Empty Re: Night of the Ironborn

Tue Oct 22, 2019 5:58 pm
The conqueror would loiter before the falling empire in an eternal solitude for his to-be champion to arrive, the veins ensnared by his skins writhing with pain as they contracted continuously out of sheer excitement and grueling fear, fear that what remained one of his most passionate desires would evade him once more despite the settling imagery. A mass village praised to be all powerful by name alone, their overwhelming presence due to their sheer strength attracting the likes of Shinobi such as Kenshin Uzumaki to take up arms against them, having such a devastating foe should describe alone just how influential this one village remains. Yet there Kutari stood, unscathed after assaulting one of the most robust villages the Shinobi era has ever come to known, the stagnant air consuming his lungs as he would drown in the enclosed ripple of space, time ceasing to continue and remain in it’s halted purgatory.

The wraith traveled to Kumgakure in hopes of salvaging a dire situation be it Sungakure true, though such a seemingly wholesome act for his comrade would be deceived by the staggering selfishness of his own wants and desires. The assassin turned warrior would wish to rebel from his longings in hopes of cascading the boy he once was, deducing any hint of human ideology would only prove to be a hindrance upon his worth as his previous profession suggested. Though despite the attempts to terminate such a persona from his soulless shell, an unyielding light would continue to flicker within the darkness, ever growing with rapid succession as if finally freed and capable of gaining influence once more; happiness, regret, frustration and even glee would be few of many emotions he imitated for so long, though throughout the past year it seemed these facades would have a mind of their own, Kutari struggling to keep them in check. Such emotions would trouble the Uchiha’s mind at this very moment, the fear of being unanswered by a worthy foe and filled with dissatisfaction and anger, or even if Kutari were to have a memorable battle in which he’d leave giddy and invigorated - such feelings would contradict all in which he’s uphold and led to believe giving birth to a lose-lose scenario, the fear of the unknown what truly haunted him.

A sudden sensation of an oncoming threat would snap him out of his inner monologue, a vast concentration of chakra birthing itself in his 8 o'clock direction as he faced Kumogakure. The completely leveled wasteland with no topography would prove useful as there’d be no obstructions to hide this new challenger, however as he turned his head instinctively there’d be little usage of cover for his new foe. Observing in sheer awe as the chakra he picked up soon became a massive beast reminiscent of a slug, his mouth slightly ajar by the unexpected turn of events to be had. He’d recall the time of his departure from Sunagakure, as he was exiting the terrain of the desert a massive chakra would be detected in a similar fashion as he looked behind him to see a gigantic pony terrorizing Sungakure. He reckoned at the time Kenshin could handle it as he had to focus on his own mission, however he hadn’t theorized how common such extravagant monsters were within villages. During his time within Sungakaure he researched various scrolls and literature from their established library and heard tales of the chakra beasts, though he wouldn’t have figured he’d come in contact with one within this deteriorating realm.

The shock he once had upon viewing the emergence of this beast would soon turn into a disturbing smile as his expression became crazed, his boiling blood consuming the fear he held prior as he fully embraced the high he currently was experiencing, instantly beginning to close the distance between the two. He’d cry with a mighty roar to the beast in utter delight once within 50 meters, “Finally, my Champion has arrived! I must request your name, let it be known my name is Kutari Uchiha. The tales of your kind and their overwhelming existence is worth nothing more than admiration, bestow upon me an exhilarating battle which I can cherish on my deathbed as a warrior!” The passion dancing within his crimson opticals would exclaim the sincerity in his message wishing for nothing more than a true warrior’s death, to which he’d hope the unknown beast would respect and take up arms against him, living up to the stories he’s heard of. Kutari would’ve never seen himself in this position years ago, having been malnourished and on the brink of death fighting simply to survive lost in an eternal prison, now battling one of the great chakra beasts of this world.

The tragedy he believed the world to bestow upon him would begin to recess from his vision, the terrain around him becoming lighter and more vibrant as he could hope these coming moments would prove to be a life changing experience, be it with him still standing or finally reaching his wish. The markings on his face having been activated prior to traveling to the beast would revitalize his power and cause him to feel stronger than ever before, getting in range of his foe as he’d wait to see how they’d react to his call to action. He’d watch intensely to see what attacks or movements his opponent would go about utilizing soon enough, though if allowed to continue traveling forward with no actions done he’d begin to operate once within 30 meters, so long as there were no other alarming threats to come or wish him harm. Of course, the variety of his senses and skill sets in hopes of aiding his combative leverage would be sensitive to all oncoming oppression.
