The Noodle Arrangement (Capped)

When Yoi also came in Kizaru gave him a little head nod in greeting. The yuki looked as if he were recovering well. He wondered if his friend was adjusting easily to his new eyes. Kizaru's legs, not being his own, were still a little shaky and felt out of place.

The ramen shop was quite packed. Kizaru should have figured that the most popular restaurant in the village would be full of people, but it was too late to get skittish and leave. The ginger teen who had interviewed him in the hospital had offered to pay for his meal and so he'd at least have to stay until he was done eating. "Thanks. That's very generous of you." Hed say across the bar to Tadashi.

As his food came he would thank the chef before digging in. The smell was almost intoxicating on his empty stomach. He handed the saucer dish of fish cakes to Kimchi and then started eating the divine noodles himself. He could easily see why this was a popular place to eat at. The little monkey appeared to be satisfied as well. It let out a couple of happy chirps as it nibbled on the little sliced swirls.

The tall puppeteer glanced to his side to see the girl he was sitting next to was eyeing Kimchi and the monkey was watching her back. He seemed to take a liking to her as after a couple minutes the golden creature hopped off of Kizaru's shoulder and leapt onto the stranger's head.

"I'm so sorry about that! Kimchi it's not nice to climb on people." He'd say apologetically though the woman didn't look very bothered. If she didnt mind the monkey's company he'd just let Kimchi do as he pleased. It had been a while since he let the little fella roam the village, but he knew his way home.

Kizaru wouldnt talk much, the crowd of people making him feel a bit uncomfortable. He was glad to see Yoi was doing better than the last time theyd seen each other. He'd quickly finish his food and again thank Tadashi for covering the bill, before heading out. He was full and in a better mood than when he walked in, but still couldnt wait to get under the covers and fall asleep. The chunnin exams were about to begin and he wanted to make sure he was well rested. He'd need as much energy as possible to compete using two brand new legs.

If Kimchi stayed behind he'd basically latch himself onto Itsumi until he too was ready to come home for bed.

As Yoi finished his ramen, he slowly got up, said his goodbyes, and walked home for a good night’s sleep. The Yuki got home, completely exhausted after his training, and went to bed.

As things were taking a more quieter turn Vergil was able to enjoy his meal a bit better and at a faster pace as soon he was finished and put all his utensils together neatly to make cleaning up after him a bit easier on the shop owners. Afterwards he got up and picked his sword up from the wall he was sitting near before placing the ryo he owed plus a tip on the counter. He would then wordlessly walk out as he made his way to his home. There was much work to be done that night. Might as well get it done soon as possible.
