Bad Guys Also Read (Mission / Seiichi and Maku)

Mission:

Seiichi was leaning on the side of a building. It was that dark red brick color, the kind you'd see schools being built out of. Inside was the printing press that sent the local news around to the black market. The sign out front side "Tax Collector", somewhere no one with their right mind would really wanna go, and most would even pay attention to it. Though it being all brick it wasn't mobile. Seiichi figured that the people inside would do one of two things: Print the news and send it to the black market, where ever it was. Or, move with the market and this building was just one of many that they owned. Investigating this place was just a matter of following rumors.

One person has a mouth. A big mouth at that. Talking about how they deliver to all the local businesses. Another guy had ears and he liked to talk, telling all of his buddies that he knew something they didn't. It just so happened that Seiichi was in the right place at the right time. He was just told by Maku to get word out for his restaurant, what better way than the news paper?

Seiichi, leaning against the wall of the building waited for someone to leave. His plan was to sneak in before the door locked behind the courier. It was time. He could hear the door open, it was an old wooden frame, though the handle was a thick industrial medal. Seiichi got there just in time to sneak his hand in and grasp the door itself. He sneaked in and closed the door quickly, as to prevent the courier from noticing.

Inside was dark and musty smelling. He could hear a group of men working in another room with a large machine. At lease, he thought it was large from all of the noise it was making. Now, all he had to figure out was how the machine worked. And to do it without being caught. He moved to the doorway and looked in. The men used a computer system. They had to, the machine was such that the two guards inside where just watching gauges and being sure it ran right. If they were using a press, there wouldn't be so much noise and the people would have to watch the press themselves. As least, that is what he concluded.

Seiichi moved into the larger room as the other men were occupied. It was set up like a large triangle. There was a hallway about five feet wide with two large printing machines on either side. Both machines were about eight feet wide and ten to fifteen feet long. There was just enough space between the other side of the machine and the wall for Seiichi to sneak through. But before he pulled a bunch of wires on the machines panel and caused it to shut off. He had no idea what it would do, he was trying to cause a diversion.

It worked. Both of the men walked towards him as he moved against the wall to the far side of the room. Going through the doorway he could see a set of stairs on his right. Heading up them he got into the computer room and figured out how to create a flyer. It was a complicated process. Took him about an hour to learn how to use the thing, and another thirty minutes to figure out what he was going to make. Next time he will simply have something ready to plug into the system.

Creating a flyer he put it in the batch for the next day. Then ditched the building through the emergency escape window. Older buildings, none of the emergency systems ever worked. He was able to open the window with no trouble, being sure to close it behind him.

Sweat trickled down his face and he whipped it off with his blue robe. The last hour an half was pretty tense. Who knew when someone would walk in? Maybe the courier was the brains behind the operation. He thought about what he did as he walked back to the restaurant. Within the next day they should have an influx of people. That should please Maku...

2 days later........

Presently Maku could be found sitting in the pseudo travel agency.  A closed sign hung on the door, having given everyone the day off.  Instead, he decided to just enjoy a little r and r.  He’d given the boys a couple missions, in many ways representative of the ones Youka and himself had done a lifetime ago.  Perhaps they were small potatoes, but the point was doing the work and proving trustworthy.  Especially given they’d move up to handle money and merchandise.  

So, he’d tasked the Seeichi guy with some advertising, and he expected to hear from him any-moment.  In the room he’d set up a little spa session.  His mask covered in chakra doused mud, feet in water with little fishies eating the dead skin, cucumbers on his eyes, and the purple pendant resting on his chest playing some relaxing music.  

Really....it was ok if the kid took his time.  This was nice.......though next door was getting a little loud for this time of day......

Seiichi pushed the door in to the area. It was like sap in there, Maku was soaking his feet and had green stuff all over his face. He didn't question the oddities of his new boss. Pulling up a seat next to him Seiichi sat down. He wanted a cup of tea and maybe to run by the local spring. The ladies around here were actually not too bad looking, not that they would be interested in him, he just liked to watch them. Seiichi was always the nervous type, it would take a lot for him to talk to a women in a sensual manner, unless he had no doubt she was already interested.

"Got the advertisement done. Finding that place was a hassle, and once I got inside..." He sighed. "I need to get better at computers." He leaned back in his chair and ran his hands through his hair. It was a rough night of travel and he was drained. Soaking his feet and having a face mask on was just little too relaxing for his taste. "I need to shower..." He hesitated. "You have my pay boss?" He asked with his head up, hands still in his hair, eyes closed, he hated awkward moments, and asking for money was always awkward.
