Hearing the capabilities of the rest of the squad, Akarui mentally noted all of it. Three front line fighters and a mid range fighter with most capable of treating non life threatening injuries. He figured most would be Ninjutsu specialists due to the versatility and power that it gave them. After processing all the Intel Akarui agreed with Nekrun that it was time to move to the mission location not far from here before the deal started.
“Not a problem Yoi, we have that covered at least. Nekrun has the right of it, we need to move out to the objective. Let’s move out. Come with me or not, I’m going.” Akarui spoke before turning to make his way to the mission objective.

The information that had gone around the group about everyone's different capabilities and skills was not much to go on but Vergil wasn't one to judge. Upon Akarui stating that he was going to move on with the first mission Vergil thought that the best option as well in order to get their day over with. From his understanding the transfer would be happening a good run from their position so, with a sharp turn in the direction they were to make for, he would start silently walking before breaking into a full on run. Quickly making his way past all the trees of the forest he would hop up into the tree branches in order to run along them for the rest of the way until stopping on top of a high up and sturdy branch. He was hovering over the position where the meeting was to take place with four minutes to spare as he relied on the shadows to mask his presence from anybody that may have been below him while leaning his back against the trunk of the tree. He would wait there patiently for the meeting to take place.

Nekrun was eager to start the mission as everyone finished what they were saying and also talked about starting the mission. Nekrun would make his way in the direction the mission was set in, just like the rest of his squad. Nekrun, running at full speed, made his way through the trees to the meeting point near Vergil. He would meet up near Vergil and wait for the others to arrive to the meeting point. His movement there would be silent and he would stalk the meeting point along with it's surroundings like a hawk. Nekrun would notice when they arrived.

Yoi saw the others moving out to reach the place they needed to be. Yoi didn't want to fall behind Nekrun and Vergil, so he activated Icing Over. This took out a big chunk of his stamina reserves. However, now he noticed that he moved slightly faster (lol, moving at 104 speed.) This would allow Yoi to get to the place they needed to be around 10 seconds before Nekrun and Vergil. Of course, when Yoi had started running, he had activated his Quiet Footsteps jutsu so he could stay silent. Yoi would wait silently, watching the location where the delivery was supposed to occur. He was hidden by foliage. Yoi remembered this uneasy feeling, of waiting for a target to appear. He remembered looking through the foliage of Tea Country, and the following events. Yoi winced, and unravelling his bandages a little, looked at the scars on his arm. Yoi, let this strengthen his resolve. He would never let another Konoha shinobi be hurt like this again. He wouldn't allow it. No. He couldn't it.

Despite the fact that Akarui left first, the others easily overtook him as they were all faster than him. He watched as they passed him in quick succession only seeing vague blurs making no sound. He really needed to bring his speed to the next level if he ever wanted to succeed as a Shinobi. It wasn’t long until Akarui arrived meeting up with the squad again at the objective. Since he was last he made sure to check no one had been following. Being that his squad arrived first, he hoped they had gotten a rough idea of the situation to relay to the rest.
“All clear behind us, has anyone seen the targets yet? Have they arrived?” Akarui spoke in a low tune when he joined the ranks.

Vergil stood atop his perch looking down upon the open field waiting for the team's targets to arrive. It was a smart question that Akarui had asked, however, as Vergil hadn't noticed any presences around the area whence he had arrived. Then again the lookout might have been using Genjutsu possibly to conceal their presence. He couldn't feel any chakra signatures besides the ones he had been introduced to via his teammates so he was hopeful but he wanted to make certain there wouldn't be any unseen complications. Thusly his eyes would shift from their natural blue hue, revolving slowly as three black dots would form around the pupil, as they changed into a crimson shade and darted around the immediate area in search of chakra being used anywhere. At first he hadn't seen anything unusual, birds flying away from other branches or squirrels leaping from tree to tree, until his eyes caught something.
Looking to another heavily leaf covered branch 20 meters 150 degrees to his right he noticed small specks of coloration floating around the leaves as he did his best to act natural. Making certain not to turn his head so much it was obvious what he was looking at Vergil squinted his eyes as his Sharingan focused more heavily on the location and he could see the clear signs of chakra gathering strength and expelling outwards the same way it would if someone was using false surroundings in order to transform a large area. Taking a slight sigh he unfolded his arms as he looked over to his fellow ninja. Nekrun along a branch 5 meters beneath his own, Yoi hiding in a branch from the tree 10 meters across, Akarui on the ground 20 meters below behind a bush. Getting a message inconspicuously to any of them would've been tough without alerting the one watching them as he focused his chakra within his body and released the Genjutsu's effects around him. The area remained unchanged but he could feel relief along his mind as he caught a large floating leaf and made certain he was out of sight from where the Genjutsu user was. As he brought his hands together to form a quick seal he would allow the leaf to fall in a way it floated downwards directly to Nekrun, using his own Genjutsu on the leaf in order to make words form along it's surface, as his sword hand tightly gripped the sheath of his sword. The words along the leaf, appearing in a size that couldn't have been seen from afar, would simply read "Act natural. We're not alone."
He would then walk over to the end of his branch in order to hop nonchalantly onto the branch Yoi was in as he brushed the palm of his hand along the boy's shoulder, chakra flowing through it, as he ducked down underneath the foliage with him. "See anything?" he would ask in his emotionless tone as the peripherals of his eyes kept tabs of the suspect branch and his chakra halted the boy's chakra flow in order to also bring him out of the Genjutsu's effects.

Nekrun watched around himself and his teammates. He didn't notice anything around him, but obviously Vergil did as the leaf fell down. The leaf seemed to have landed in Nekrun's hand by chance and Nekrun looked at it, not expecting it to say anything. Nekrun read the leaf and continued to crush it in his hand and let the pieces flow down, he didn't want the invisible enemy to somehow get a hold that they knew who was here. This left Akarui in the dark about their current situation, so Nekrun would allow "drop" a smoke ball from his pocket without enough force to make it explode. Nekrun would drop down to the ground from his branch quietly using the silent footsteps technique and grab the smoke ball. Nekrun would talk to Akarui "I haven't seen anything, hows it going down here?" Nekrun would stay down on the ground by him to try and protect him a bit from the invisible enemy. Nekrun couldn't think of a way to say anything about the enemy, so he stayed down on the ground and hoped he would be able to protect Akarui enough from them.

Yoi was still laying in wait. There seemed to be nothing going on. This was, well, strange. This was when the pickup was scheduled for. Yoi, out of the corner of his eye, saw Vergil walk along a branch before hopping down next to him. As Vergil placed his hand on his shoulder, Yoi felt something strange. A slight jolt of chakra almost. Not enough to make Yoi surprised, but it was strange, none the less. It felt like Genjutsu Release was being forced upon Yoi. Yoi rapidly realized his faults. He quickly activated Mind’s Eye of the Kagura. He sensed an unfamiliar chakra signature, at least one that did not coordinate with the locations of his teammates. The Yuki whispered, “Nothing much.” Yoi would create a very quiet voice using Ventriloquism. This would come from Yoi, however, his lips wouldn’t be moving. [OOC Note: It was ruled in Arrival that Ventriloquism could be used without the movement of one’s lips.] This voice, slightly quieter, would say, “I can sense him now. Plan of action?” Yoi would let Vergil take the lead on this. He knew Vergil was much more powerful than Yoi was, and Yoi knew that logically, that would leave Vergil to be in command. He hoped there was no bad blood between Vergil and Nekrun after their Chunnin Exams fight.

Akarui still didn’t see anyone here besides the squad. Wasn’t this the meet time? Did we get a dud? No, something isn’t right. It’s quiet, quiet like the calm before a storm. The team also looked restless, did they see something? Akarui hadn’t but maybe they did. Suddenly a smoke bomb dropped near the base of the tree making him drop into a battle stance before realizing no smoke followed much to Akarui’s relief.
Nekrun made his way down to pick it back up which Akarui found odd, from afar it seems like an accident dropping the smoke bomb but Akarui didn’t think Nekrun was that clumsy. The situation wasn’t simple it seems. He could only keep his guard up. Replying to Nekrun, Akarui reported, “Nothing down here, But let’s keep our guards up. Do you have a course of action? ”
If Nekrun knew something, Akarui would follow his lead. If the enemy wasn’t here, he would wait. Perhaps it’s a good idea to hide in case the Enemy had yet to go.

Re: Mission Day (P, NK)

Vergil was balancing his body atop the branch along with Yoi as he looked up through the tree leaves towards the sun and surmised they all had two minutes at best before the meeting was to take place. They had one problem to take care of if they wanted to be able to secure their objective without complication and, at least from Vergil's perspective, it didn't seem as though the one casting the Genjutsu was aware that it was no longer working on him and Yoi. Upon hearing Yoi's answer to his question he would hear a thump from below coming from Nekrun's dropped smoke bomb which Vergil thought was a pretty smart move on two fronts. Nekrun could remain inconspicuous in his way of retrieving it and deliver a message to Akarui as well as make the ninja watching them think they're all imbeciles. It wouldn't be until he heard Yoi's covert second question that he wondered how he himself could respond without riling suspicion or have his voice possibly heard. He would have to react fast. Their targets were very close to arriving and he needed to get rid of this nuisance before it was too late. It would be here that his opportunity came.
Across the way directly in front of them he heard a rustling of leaves in a tree branch as his Sharingan looked over to see a small family of birds moving all along inside. Taking this as his cue to look jumpy and stupid to the ninja he would extend his right arm a bit as three shuriken would fall down out of his sleeve, being caught in the gaps of his fingers, before he tossed one towards the branch where the birds were and it zoomed to it's target location. The shuriken would sink into the leaves, aimed to completely miss any of the birds, as they would fly out of their hidey hole in a panic of feathers and squawks that filled the air. Taking this moment he would whisper quietly to Yoi in the midst of all the noise. "Don't do anything. Spook him and he'll possibly alert his crew before they get here. I'll take him out before he can. If I fail your priority will be in protecting Nekrun and Akarui from danger. I'm counting on you." As the birds were done flying out of their immediate territory Vergil would then quickly bring his hands together to form one seal before, after having taken the appropriately safe trajectory, disappeared in a flash and reappeared on one tree branch directly behind their stalker.
He could tell from his perch that the ninja who'd been watching them was now looking around trying to find out where Vergil had went but by the time he turned to look behind him it was too late as Vergil had landed on the branch next to him with his sword carrying arm around his shoulders and his free hand with the shuriken around his throat. Taking care to keep the shuriken away from his neck his strength proved more than enough to force the guy from moving or speaking as his other arm kept his hands from coming together to form seals. His target secured he would force his eyes to look into his Sharingan as Vergil began to apply a bit of Genjutsu himself and force the ninja's mind to close and shut down as he fell deep into a slumber. With that done all that was left was hiding the unconscious body as he laid the body balanced along the tree trunk atop the branch and quickly wrapped wire around him and the tree before securing it in place. He would then form hand seals before flicking his two shuriken in Yoi's direction. Midway through their flight they would then bounce off one another as one shuriken would land right next to Yoi's feet and one right next to Nekrun's feet below. Once again a tiny message could be read on both simply stating "Hide and wait for my signal" before disappearing.
Now came the hard part. More than likely the group's Genjutsu using missing ninja was sent in advance to setup a safe meeting environment. Now that he was taken out and the missing ninja coming noticed that he was no longer there presented the possibility of the MN cluing in and running away. So Vergil formed a few more hand seals and used his chakra to disguise his tree, making the unconscious body and wire next to him disappear, before forming more seals and gathering his chakra to make himself look completely like the ninja beside him. Keeping in his position afterwards he would keep watch of the ground below while completely disguised and ready to act when necessary. If the missing ninja came and checked upon his position they would see him giving an all clear sign so that they could proceed with their meeting.
