Mission 3:

The Terumi bloodline was a hard one to extinguish; given their power, they were very sought after by organ trafficking thugs, but also highly prized romantic partners, and as such the bloodline had spread throughout the lands even against Kirigakure's best efforts to contain the power that the bloodline yielded to them that hide within the mist. However strong it is, the young Terumi wondered if his particular bloodline might be at risk; not only had his Uncle never returned from the incursion into the Land of Fire, the stress of living alone without knowing if he was alone in the world was making him uncomfortable. He wondered if it mattered to him or not, but his disconnection from reality made it hard to assess whether he cared. He sat on his bed, back against one wall, sight glued to the other, blankly staring as his mind paced slowly, the footsteps echoing softly against the walls of his skull.

The mailbox slot was lifted and then dropped once again, indicating mail arrived; the trance of the young Terumi was interrupted, and he realized he was hungry. Making his way to the door and picking up the sealed letter from the ninja office, he made his way back to the kitchen reading the contents of it.

After breaking his fast, he got dressed, and just before leaving the house, he looked at the small mirror in the hall, fixing his bandages properly, then noticing how dirty the mirror was. "Maybe for my next mission I'll clean my Uncle's house… or can it be called my house now?"

Exiting and locking the door, something useful at best against law abiding citizens, Kazushi made way towards the new Tech Shop. As he made his way, blurry shapes made past him, the sight of them blocked by the youth himself, not out of spite, but out of distraction. Once there, the same lad that received him last time received him this time. As it turned out, the tech shop was built on the ruins of the old tech shop, and some sections of it still had junk that needed to be salvaged, rooms that if cleared could have not only some relics, but provide new rooms for the shop to operate on.

Now wearing thick gloves, he climbed down some stairs that led to a tunnel system, following the instructions of a makeshift map given by the lad upstairs, and got to work once he made into the room. The lighting was dim, but still enough to make out potentially functional parts and busted parts. Kazushi was not a weapons specialist, but broken metal is broken metal, and rusted screws are not quite efficient. Getting some cardboard, he started to separate the good parts from the bad ones, as well as getting tools into yet another box. As soon as he finished one counter, he looked at the others, and felt a pang of dread as he realized he'd have to be doing this the whole day. Instead of becoming bored and doing this against his will, he decided to put his back into it and started clearing the counters as best as he could, box after box being filled up, closed, and labelled. Before he knew it, sound filled the corridor and the lad upstairs was at the door, marvelling at the youth's handiwork. On the one hand he asked for the gloves back, on the other he gave him some cash, a wink and a pat on the back.
