Here again it seemed, looking at the nearly empty mission board. It was ridiculous at how often Minato approached this board to see only a few available missions, but what could he do? He was always behind everyone else in getting to the Administration building in time, so with his choices slim he picked a flier titled “Cleaning the Monument” and began to read.

‘Kirigakure Shinobi,

You are tasked with cleaning the Mizukage Monument, when you finish, it should reflect your opinion on our Mizukage and Kirigakure itself so do your best or you’ll pay for insulting the village and it’s leader.’

Folding the paper up in his hands Minato placed the flier in his front right pocket of his trench coat, Luckily though the monument wasn’t far from the Administration Building so he didn’t have to trudge to far in order to start the mission and cleaning process. However Minato did not have any cleaning supplies so he entered the building in search of the janitor, after about 20 minutes of running the halls, He stumbled into the janitor locker room and began gathering various supplies into a bucket he had also found in the room. Leaving the building with 2 scrub brooms and 4 hand held scrub brushes, Minato had gathered all the materials he needed to scrub away the bird crap and seafoam that has gathered on the monument. Standing at the feet of the statue was nearly intimidating as he looked up at the previous Mizukage, Xyxer Gyojin known for his brutality and for bringing Kirigakure to the greatness it has become today. “Well let’s get this over with.” Minato stated as he signed the Tiger seal, Water quickly swirled into 6 man sized pillars which then formed into 6 water clones each grabbing a brush and cleaner to begin the mission. 2 of the Clones with handheld brushes used their chakra to walk up the statue and start at the head of the statue, the bird crap was rather thick there so they were having to really dig with the brushes to break loose the hardened crap from the statues stone hair. 2 more of the clones also holding handheld brushes began to scrub the steel boots on the bottom of the statue attempting to break away the surface rust and make the steel shine again, the brushes began to turn copper in appearance from the thickness of rust deposits that they were breaking away. The final clones were using their brooms to wash away the broken up dirt and expose the cleanliness that Minato had brought about on this monument of power. With the clones finished cleaning, Minato returned the equipment to the administration building and released his clone jutsu turning the 6 clones to puddles of water.

Minato reached into his pocket pulling out the flier and signing the bottom for completion, it was a simple mission but at least he could be paid for it. Turning the corner of a hallway inside the Administration Building and heading to the claims department, Minato turned in his mission and accepted the reward before leaving.
