Royal's (mission)

Mission

It was around 10 in the morning and Sai was already up, He was reading a book he had gotten from a near by store. He had been up the better part of the morning, waiting until it was the right time to put this book down and start his day. He couldnt help but be intrigue by it. Sai was never one for books but some of the fights in the book were amazing. Even though the fights werent real historical events, they were cool all the same to Sai. After a few more minutes of reading the book he decided to put it down and start his day. Today he would be going on a mission to go find out what happened to a missing caravan. The caravan was suppose to bring royals to the village earlier this morning but nothing never showed up. Once Sai heard royals were involved with the mission he knew it was something he had to take on. There would be money to be made helping to safely return the royals lost, not only that the royals could be someone important worth saving.

Sai took his time getting ready, making sure to enjoy every minute of his shower and personal time. He normally was in a rush but today he could take his time. He made sure not to waste to much time though, he had people that needed to be rescued. Sai got dressed and left his home. As he left out he was immediately hit with a nice breeze, signifying how beautiful a day it was. Sai greeted all of the friendly villagers as he walked through the village on his way to the spot her was suppose to meet others. It seemed like Sai was growing accustomed to having other ninja to accompany him on his mission. He knew he would have to start taking some on his own. He didnt want to reply to heavily on other people, nothing ever came good of putting your life in someone else hands. Sai would rather be the one to decided if he lived or die, not have his comrade make that choice.

As he walked he could feel his stomach growl, Sai knew no ninja could perform perfectly on an empty stomach. So he decided to stop pass one of the "Meals on Wheels", a name he gave to the street vendors for having such fulfilling food. He chose one of the stand that didnt have people so he could hurry and grab his food to go. He quickly bought some beef on a stick, it wasent the best looking food but it tasted like a something his father would cook with left over meat. Sai ate as he approached the board, it was no later than 11:30 in the morning. Sai wanted to get this mission over with as soon as possible, so he hoped that someone would come before he decided to just start it all by himself.

Oh Kami, royals. Kamari Uchiha hated nobles more than anything except the Kiri occupation of Konoha. Why he decided to do a mission involving them, he didn’t know. Kamari just needed some cash. He had woken up, put on the cleanest and least beat up of his many black trench coats, brushed his teeth, and was on the way to the mission board. As he was walking down the streets to the mission board, all Kamari heard was various comments about the nobles.
“The only nobles you should be concerned about are the Kage,” Kamari muttered to himself. It was true. The Kage has earned their positions through blood, sweat, tears, and a lot of hard work, whereas other nobles had everything handed to them just because of who their parents were. Still, Kamari had not seen combat in a while, so he decided to do a mission that would at least give him the chance. As he approached the mission board, Kamari saw his fellow Uchiha and close friend Sai waiting at the board, presumably for the same mission. Upon seeing him, Kamari sped up, running at his full speed towards the board.
“Hey, Sai,” Kamari said. “When do you think these nobles are gonna show up?”

Snow walked up to the notice boards to see both Kamari and Saizou waiting to head off on the mission. When he reached the notice board, he waved at both of the fellow konoha ninja and said hello. Kamari had asked when they thought the nobles were going to show up, that was when Snow divulged the bit of info that he did know.

"The nobles were expected early this morning. That was over six hours ago. The higher ups have become concerned with their abscense. That is why we are left with the task of finding them and bringing them safely to the village.

As Sai stood there waiting to see who would show up to give their assitance on the mission, he had gotten lost in thought about some of the things he planned on doing in the future. As Sai was starting to jump back to reality, he heard someone running in their direction. It slightly startled Sai causing him to turn on his Sharingan, Sai wasent the type to be scared but you could never be to safe. To his surprise it Kamari. He hadnt seen his pal since they were training not to long ago, he was happy to see him doing good and well.

Sai wandered what made Kamari run at him like that , but chose to just ignore the weird act. He returned kamari greeting with a warm smile of his own."Hey There Kamari", Sai would say with a smile. Just then Snow quickly appeared, made Sai start to think that Snow wasent lying about being faster than him. Snow had answered Kamari question before Sai was able to, helping save Sai the time of explaining it.

"Yeah he right, so lets get a move on it fellas", Sai said as he started to walk towards the exit of the village, into the forest that was protecting while at the same time hiding the village as well. Sai didnt want to waste time, not knowing if there was a life on the line or not. "Dont fall to far behind us Kamari", Sai said jokely. Sai then ran down the road at his top speed trying his hardest to get this mission over as fast as he could, knowing Kamari wasent as fast then either him or Snow slighty worried Sai.

Sai didnt want Kamari to fall to far behind them just in case something was to happen to him. He decided it would be best to let him move at his own pace and be able to handle and danger that come his way. Once Sai got about 40 meters down the road he could start to see a broken down wagen. Upon arriving at the wagen he could see that one of the wheels had broken off. He wandered how could royals be so cheap on their transportation, but then again you dont stay rich by blowing all your money. Sai would walk around the wagen to see if he could see any footprints, which he did. The amount of footprints were enough for the two royals and their wagen driver.

If Snow and Kamari wasent already there by the time he found the foot prints, he would go back and motion to them in what direction he was entering the forest. Upon entering the forest , he would follow the foot steps until he gets to a clearing. Sai didnt think that royals would walk far, for christ sake they would have people carry them around. As he got out into the open the open area looked beautiful, unmatched. As he was starting to enjoy the beauty , he could see the royal's and their driver on the other side of the feild. 

Sai decided to wait there until his team arrived.

"Hey There Kamari,” Sai said cheerfully. Kamari really hadn’t seen Sai in a while so he returned the favor.
“Haven’t seen you in a while. It’s good to see you again.”
Kamari then heard Snow’s information about the mission.
"The nobles were expected early this morning. That was over six hours ago. The higher ups have become concerned with their abscense. That is why we are left with the task of finding them and bringing them safely to the village.”
“No wonder they needed ninja for this,” Kamari replied. “If we find any bad guys out here, I’ll keep them occupied with my Genjutsu so you can fight more effectively. I really still need to work on my speed.”
It was true. While Kamari was easily strong enough to break bones with a punch, his speed, while quite fast, was still on the lower end of the ninja spectrum. He made up for this, of course, with his mind breaking Genjutsu. He could make his opponents perceive their surroundings completely differently and strike without warning from unexpected areas, or he could assault them with horrifying visions, sensations, and even simulated pain. Kamari didn’t mind the implications. While he deeply cared about his friends and protecting the innocent, he was somewhat of a sadist towards evil people.
"Yeah he right, so lets get a move on it fellas,” Sai said. "Dont fall to far behind us Kamari.”
“Enough with the slow jokes, guys,” Kamari affirmed. “That’s the focus of my training now.”
Sai then began leaping away into the forest. Kamari quickly followed, activating his Sharingan to scan the area before him. He could see a broken down wagon. It was pretty shoddy. Not fitting at all for nobles. Then again, just because you have money doesn’t mean you have to spend it.
Kamari could make out several blobs of chakra, presumably the nobles. His Sharingan could see far, but not that far effectively. Kamari turned and immediately traveled in that direction, noticing that Sai had started moving in that direction too. Kamari could make out the nobles at this point, so he turned his Sharingan back off and leapt down from the trees into the field. Kamari bowed before the nobles, internally cursing himself for giving in to the standards of “high society,” before saying “We’re ninja of Konoha. We were sent to find you and get you where you need to go safely.”

Snow followed the rest of the team, being sure to keep his eyes peeled and his body ready to fight off any combatant that may have come to stop the Konoha nin from saving the nobles and leading them into their destined village. As they walked, Snow tried to think of a plan that would allow him to protect the rest of the group from any opposing forces, but also not injure them in the process. A lot of the techniques that his ice release granted to Snow were wide swinging techniques that would easily injure his party at the same time as the opposing forces themselves. He thought for the duration of their walking through the roads, trying to find the nobles. He didn’t speak much, mainly because he wanted to draw the least amount of attention to themselves as possible. Luckily the other two members of the squad were also competent, at least to Snow’s knowledge.

He had yet to witness their power in battle, and that was something that Snow would hope to remedy in the near future. Knowing your allie’s strength is just as if not more important to knowing the strength of your enemy, at least that is how Snow felt about it. Based on the jokes that Saizou was flinging towards Kamari, Snow was able to gather that Kamari was rather slow, at least compared to the other members of the group. Mainly because he knew that he was faster than Sai, and Sai was allegedly faster than Kamari. But the capabilities of the Sharingan that Kamari and Sai both owned were not to be underestimated. Snow then thought of his weapons of ice technique and how well that would work in the current predicament if they were to be ambushed on the trial they were all walking together. He would be able to launch his projectile, but he would worry about his friends being caught in the crossfire during the expansion and the duplication of the projectile as it flew through the air.

His worries of accidentally injuring his friends were quickly quelled when Kamari finally found the nobles with that Sharingan of his. They all ran to the nobles and saw that they were not injured, but their wagon had lost its wheel and they were stranded on the roads, to terrified to walk the roads alone. Snow helped them out of their wagon and sized up the situation of the wagon. He figured that if they all created some shadow clones, they would be able to push the wagon out of the ditch it was stuck in, and put the wheel back on.

Snow then thought of another idea. “Kamari you are strong right? If you and Sai would be able to push the wagon out of the ditch that it is in, I and two shadow clones can use our speed to chase down the horses and get them all back here. By the time I get back with the horses, you guys will most likely have the wagon up and ready to install the horses back onto the wagon itself. What do you guys say?”

Snow then created two shadow clones and he knew that they didn’t have much time to wait before those horses got farther and farther. Snow and his clones then sprinted off in the direction that they found horse tracks leading off to. After about twenty minutes, he returned with the horses and looked to see if the guys were done fixing up the wagon and if it was ready for the horses to be put back into their position. If the wagon was ready, then he would lead the horses back to their spots, if it wasn’t then he would simply have his clones watch over the horses and Snow would help the guys with the wagon.

Once they were finished with the wagon, Snow would then suggest that they hurry back to Konoha so they may be able to get a training session in before the sun went down.

Sai had summoned clones of his own once he had heard what snow said and imediatly got them fixing up the wagon. Once the wagon was fixed up Sai would wait for the royal and their carriage to be ready to go, he would then lead the way back to the village making sure nothing dangerous pops out. Sai didnt want anything or anyone to ruin this mission. It had been so easy it would be a tradegy if something was to happen.

“Sounds goo..,” Kamari was cut off by Sai and his army of shadow clones fixing up the carriage.
“Well, there goes that idea,” Kamari quipped, slightly disappointed. He really wanted to fight some bad guys, but he got stuck being a third wheel. His Genjutsu skills had been no help at all, and since Ninjutsu wasn’t his main thing, he had never learned how to do shadow clones. He didn’t like them anyway considering they split a ninja’s chakra pool. More weaker copies of yourself is no upgrade from a single stronger you.
“Good move, Sai,” Kamari said as he gave Sai a fist bump. Kamari then turned to the nobles.
“Let’s get you to Konoha. I don’t want my clients dying on me, now do I?,”
Kamari would then turn back to his teammates.
“Hey guys, no offense but I felt kinda useless,” Kamari said. “My particular skill set wasn’t required at all for this mission. I guess my Sharingan helped some but Sai has that too. It’s okay guys, We’re a team and we look out for each other. Thanks.”
Kamari was disappointed the mission was over that fast. He had secretly been hoping they would get attacked so he could deal out some trickery and justice. At least he would get paid. Kamari would then follow his teammates back to Konoha, keeping a close eye on the nobles in case something happened.
“Sorry if I’m being a bit weird,” he said to the nobles. “Just keeping you safe.”
Kamari was still frustrated that he was around a group of nobles.
Just because you were born noble doesn’t mean you were qualified for the job. That was why Kamari didn’t like them. He reminded himself of the mission to avoid letting his frustration out, before resuming his calm, focused oversight over the nobles. What a long, eventful day.

Snow was sure that the horses would be looking for one of two things, food or water. He first checked the open fields that were to one side of the road that the nobles had broken down on, he checked for a few minutes but he was unfortunately running into no horses on the open plains. So that left him with another option for the horses to have run off to find, the river on the other side of the road. When he reached the road, he found both of the horses drinking directly from the river. Snow and his clones snuck behind the horses, then immediately tried to calm them with a handful of grass that Snow and his clones picked up from the open plains. Snow and his clones mounted the horses, and headed back to the nobles wagon.

When Snow and his two Shadow Clones returned with the horses needed for the wagon Kamari and Sai had the wagon ready to go. Snow yelled out to the team "Good job guys! Both of you!" Snow got the horses into position and smacked the horses on the rear, getting them moving. The three man squad would then head the wagon back into the village. Snow was happy that they hadn't run into any opposition, he was not to confident in their ability at this point to handle combat. Once they were able to prove themselves in a more controlled environment, then Snow would be a lot more confident in their abilities outside the village walls.  When they reached the village, Snow ensured the nobles got to their destination within the village safely and then proceeded to the training grounds for a little late night training.

After his possibility of running into trouble when saving those nobles, his mind was stirring with new ideas with ways that he could hone his skills even farther to become more confident outside the walls of the village.
