Apprehend the young deserter(P, Mission)

Mission


Today was a sad day in the village. It wasent the people who were sad but mother nature. It had been pouring down all day long and it didnt seem like it was going to let up anytime soon. Sai didnt mind though he felt like village needed it, sometimes it can seem the village never takes a break and enjoy the little things like family and the importance of being around one another. Unfortunately for Sai he didnt have any family left, so he had no need to sit at home all day. Today he had accepted a mission, a very peculiar one. He had to track down a shonbi from leaving the village. A couple people had reported the young boy when they had over heard him talking about it to himself one day. Leaving the village was a serious offense and it wasnet something that would get a easy punishment if captured. Alot of times people were killed for trying to leave their village, a ninja body is something the a village would not want getting into the hands of an enemy. Even a low ranking ninja like the one in Sai mission could be use to hurt the leaf village somehow. Sai took a deep breath as he got up from his dining room table.

He got ready but took his time doing so, from the intell that he had the boy wouldnt be trying to escape until the shift change at the gates. With all the rain going on and the fact that night was approaching ment he would have a good cover to escape. Once Sai was ready he quickly left his home. He didnt have an umbrella so he was just going to walk in the rain, untill a lady had seen him leaving out his home and offered him the extra umbrella that she had. Sai had thanked the nice women and promised to return it to her once he was done with it. He quickly made his way to where he was going to be meeting some of his fellow ninja for this mission. Sai didnt want to hurt the boy if he didnt have to, but if the ninja refuses not to return to the village then Sai will do what he must. After a ten minutes of walking Sai had arrived at the meeting spot, rain still steadily coming down.

Kamari was looking at the mission list when he found something that caught his attention. A young Genin has been planning to desert from Konoha as a missing ninja. This was pretty bad, especially if he went to Kiri. Ninja were a valuable resource. Whoever had the most ninja controlled the world, and as of now that was Kiri. They had Konoha under their thumbs for a very long time and that was not something Kamari wanted. In fact, he wanted more ninja to defect FROM Kiri so he could help free Konoha.
“Ketsuegi Nensho,” Kamari said to himself. “Kiri will burn.”
Hopefully no Kiri ninja nearby heard him, but since he was standing outside in the rain, nobody was likely to be around. More importantly, nobody would see his tears of rage. “This is for you, Mika.”
Kamari’s girlfriend, Mika Momochi, was a Kiri Jonin who he had met ironically during the occupation of Konoha. She had almost killed him, but he had used a genjutsu to show her his entire life story hoping she would be scarred for life. Instead, she took pity on him and spared his life. The two had slowly became friends until eventually Mika had defected to Konoha and started dating Kamari.
Kamari then noticed Sai nearby, presumably at the meeting spot. Hopefully he had not heard anything Kamari had said. Kamari walked over to Sai.
“Hey, Sai,” Kamari said. “This weather really sucks, am I right? I saw this mission and figured my genjutsu would be useful. Didn’t know you would be here, but I guess that’s a bonus.”
Kamari laughed to himself upon finishing the sentence.

"Missing Ninja, are there any lesser of the wayward souls needing to be disposed of?" Snow thought to himself. His thoughts were beginning to become more angry and hateful. He never really saw the thoughts coming, it was almost as if someone else entirely was saying it, someone living within his mind. He shook his head violently, trying to get the thoughts to cease. He was walking through the village, heading for the meeting place that Sai had told him about for the day. He woke up early in the morning so he already had his warm up training session, so he was ready to take on a mission and possibly make himself some money, and spend some time with friends. He was hoping spending time with others would help him get out of his head and start focusing on the present, and not on his past. 

He walked up to the meeting place and he saw both Sai and Kamari waiting for him. He was never the late one, but after that night with Akira and Sai, he just hadn't been himself and he was beginning to worry about himself. He walked up to the two ninjas and waved his hand, greeting the both of them. "Hey guys. Are we waiting for anyone else or shall we hunt this wayward soul down and give him what for?" Snow tightened up the backpack straps on his shoulders and he showed that he was ready to hit the road and get moving.

As Sai was standing there waiting to see who would be the next in line to show up and to his surprise it was Kamari. He had been seeing alot of him recently, seeing as though they just had completed a mission together. He was happy to see that his friend was doing good and getting mission done. As Kamari approached Sai had heard the greeting he gave him, he returned it with a smile of his own. 
"Nah i actually enjoy the rain, it sets the mood for mission's like this", Sai said with a smile. Sai loved the rain, he couldnt get enough of it. The only time he felt as though it was to much was when he dosent have an umbrella, even then he dosent mind for the most part.

Sai wander was anyone else going to show up for this mission, seeing as though it had a decent amount of importance. Moments later Snow arrived, to Sai suprise. Its not everyday the three same ninja are on a mission again unless in a team. Unfornately the third member of team zero wasent here with them today, but Kamari did a good job filling the void Akira leaves behind. As snow walked up he had asked them was they ready to go, Sai couldnt be more ready. "Yeah buddy lets go",Sai said as he made his way in the direction of the exit of the village.

Just as Kamari greeted Sai, Snow had showed up to the party as well.
"Hey guys. Are we waiting for anyone else or shall we hunt this wayward soul down and give him what for?"
Kamari showed Snow his favored finger for using Ephemeral.
“Heck yeah. I’ll mind screw this guy to see why he’s leaving. Maybe show him his friends and family being sad for him or something.”
Kamari thought that would be a good idea. If this kid really wanted to betray Konoha, Kamari would lay him experience the consequences firsthand without him having to actually experience them. That sure would work.
“How about you guys stay back for a bit, let me use my Genjutsu on him, and then jump in when I give the signal?,” Kamari suggested. He really wanted not to hurt this guy. Not physically anyway. If Kamari could pull this off, he would defeat his enemy without even touching him.
Sai then made a comment about the rain.
"Nah i actually enjoy the rain, it sets the mood for mission's like this.”
Kamari didn’t really like rain. It reminded him of tears, especially since it was raining the day his parents died.
“Hey, that’s your opinion,” Kamari replied.
“Yeah buddy let’s go,” Sai said to Snow. Kamari stopped them from leaving before trying something.
“Hold on, I got this part.”
Kamari flashed his Sharingan briefly to look for the guy and saw a blob of chakra in the distance. Zooming in to get a clearer field of view, he saw that it was indeed the guy they were looking for. Kamari deactivated his Sharingan to conserve energy for the fight before pointing in the direction of their target.
“He’s over there. Follow me.”
Kamari leapt into the trees and began to pursue his target.

Snow and the rest of the team began heading where the deserter was last located. While they walked, Snow was trying to battle his thoughts between the sweet and kind individual he wanted to be and the tormented soul that watched his mother's innards be ripped out of her abdomen. He focused in on the mission, trying to forget the whole ordeal, at least for the moment. Kamari found the individual they were looking for so they picked up the pace slightly and readied themselves for what was certainly going to come out to be a conflict with the individual. 

Kamari went into the trees, to surely conceal his presence, he was sure Sai would do the same thing because it was the proper decision, but Snow would decide the opposite. He would continue down the road until they were 30 meters away from the individual. Then while still closing the gap, he would perform the hand seals for the Flash Freeze technique. This would freeze the individual in place, allowing the team to do whatever they needed with him.

Sai like the enthusiam that Kamari showed. It just made his job today more easier, something he needed. He hadent got any rest in a while due to all the mission he had been doing, Sai didnt mind though it was a good he was getting so much done. He wasent one to keep life waiting, he wanted to meet it head on. He looked onward as Kamari used his sharingan to track the person who was trying to leave. Sai let his fellow ninja take the lead on this mission, since the both had already made their move. It was also a good oppertunity to see how Kamari does leading something. As Sai followed Kamari jumped into the trees behind him, while keeping his eye on Snow, who was now runing down the pathway toward the boy.

Sai didnt want to waste his own chakra or energy on the boy, he on rather let other do the work. He felt a slight pity for the boy, what had happen to make someone so young want to leave their home and be out alone like that. Ninja werent the same as regualr civilans, so some of the things that regualr people need is something ninja consider a luxery. He knew he could count on Snow not to be to hard on the boy, but at the same he had his worries. Snow was seeming a bit off to Sai, his body laugage and actions have been different than what Sai knew. It been a while since the day Snow went beserk and Sai hoped time would help fix him, seem like he was wrong. 

Sai watched as Snow ran towards the boy head on, something Snow would normaly do. He was famous in team zero for always trying to be the first to make his move, today was no different. As he got within 30 meters of the boy he would use th flash freeze jutsu, freezeing the boy before he would even have a chance to make an escape. Sai looked towards Kamari,"I Guess Snow took care of it huh", Sai said with a slight chuckle. He would wait to see what his other two team mates would do. Once either of them gto the boy, Sai would make his leave back to report a mission complete.

Kamari watched as Snow used a technique to immobilize the boy. “Thanks for making my job easier, Snow,” he would say before leaping down in front of his target.
“No hard feelings, but I’m gonna show you what’s gonna happen if you desert,” Kamari said before placing the boy under his Genjutsu. Kamari filled the boy’s mind with images of his family and friends mourning for him, wanting him to come back to the village, of him fighting his own family and killing them before taking his own life because he had nothing else to live for. Was it torture? It sure was, but it was the only way to keep him from doing it again. The boy broke down and began to cry before Kamari used his Genjutsu to knock him out, picked him up, and was in his way.
“Sorry you didn’t get a chance this time, Sai,” Kamari would say. “We all have our purpose though and this is mine.”
Kamari would then head back to the village and drop the boy off to the designated location. He had saved someone’s future that day. He didn’t care if the boy hated him from then on because he knew he had done what was best for everyone. Such is the way of the ninja.
