Clean Up That Damn Sand! (Mission)

Kirigakure was as depressing and shrouded in mist as ever, the people as cold-hearted as though life in the village was all for one and one for all. However they still managed to find ways to complain about something, this was evident by Minato’s mission to sweep the village clean of the pesky sand from the nearby beaches of the islands. He decided to start on the southern tip of the main island, a simple bamboo handled straw broom in his hands as he began. Making simple dragging motions across the top of the pathways made for traversing the village with ease, he couldn’t believe shinobi were forced to be simple public service men and women. To waste the valuable resource that shinobi are on trivial means, oh well it would only last for a short while he assumed as he carried on swiping away the sand with the hardened hay bristles. This was going to take forever if only Minato knew how to utilize wind release, he could just blow all the sand away and be done with in moments of starting. However he was gifted in life with an acute understanding of water release. So it occurred to him to perhaps try to use his abilities to simply wash away the sand, seeing as water was what had brought it here in the first place. However this idea was quickly broken down to nothing as Minato had no water release jutsu in his arsenal to simply blow away the sand, all he had were mostly used for destruction or death.

A sigh left his lips as he looked down the long and winding path ahead, the sand that he had to sweep away, each grain uncountable as he started again dragging the sand of the trail with the broom he was holding. After walking nearly three city blocks sweeping away like a mindless machine, a shop owner stopped him looking over what he had already accomplished and sighing at the poor boy having to hand sweep it all. He signalled for him to step inside and hand over a rideable street sweeper he had recently ordered, explaining the village had this request for the last 6 months and he was nearing doing it all himself. Minato thanked the man before jumping into the driver's seat and looking at the knbs before him. It seemed simple enough as he turned the key hearing the engine start then shifted the knob to the symbol of a rabbit, with in seconds Minato was racing around the town on the machine as it spun it’s brushes so fast the pathways began to shine in his wake. After about two or three solid passes on the walkways, Minato had truly been able to go above and beyond the mission itself. He drove the machine back inside the man's shop and thanked him once more before setting out towards the administration building with the mission flier in hand, to which he turned in to collect his ryo for a job well done.
